viele Samstage gehe ich hierin zum Mittagessen. die besten Rindersteaks für mich in Mainz. das Fleisch ist immer zart und wird nach Kundenwunsch zubereitet ob medium rare oder gut durch. auch das Lammfleisch ist sehr zu empfehlen, nicht zu vergessen der leckere Beilagensalat. Chef und Chefin sind immer bemüht optimalen Service zu bieten

A cozy place with outdoor seating (in summer) and a nice atmosphere on the square. Steaks were super good and wine was outstanding. The service was polite and attentive, but made some small mistakes (we had to open the wine ourselves and were not given clean cutlery after the salad). All in all a really good experience.

The food portion was inedibly salty. I got a replacement portion which was also still really salty. The service was rude. The waiters were more interested in gossiping with friends and the kitchen staff than serving us.

The food was great and the meat was on point. The drink selection is also very good. The ambience is OK. It's a shame that the bookkeeping with billing of all receipts was done right at the table next to us. That was a lot of chaos.

Very good steak restaurant in Mainz. The menu is small, but what is on offer is top notch. Our steaks were very well prepared, the starter and dessert were extremely tasty and we were both very enthusiastic about the orange mustard sauce. The shop is very small, so you should make a reservation to be on the safe side. In the summer when the outdoor area is usable, it's certainly a little easier. The prices are high, but in my opinion they match the quality of the food. It certainly won't be the last time we're here!

I haven't eaten such a tender and delicious fillet in a long time. Also perfectly cooked to medium rare. And that pepper sauce for the potato wedges... a dream! It wasn't a problem to get another bowl.

An altogether forgettable experience. I booked a table for two almost 6 hours before the scheduled meal time. When we arrived we were greeted in the most inhospitable manner, and forced to.move tables three times, apparently because the restaurant was overbooked The final insult however was when the reservation book was brought to our table so that I could "prove" I had a reservation! Not being willing to accept further bad service, or indeed bad manners, we promptly left.at this point Even hunger was more attractive to us than remaining. I can honestly say that I have never experienced such poor guest service ever before.

We came across this restaurant more or less by chance. Let's put it this way: we had dinner there on December 31st and it was the best piece of meat I've eaten this year! Excellent in terms of taste and quality. The service was super friendly and with top advice. The atmosphere is very inviting and pleasant. Absolute recommendation and hopefully we have the opportunity to come here again!

Es ist zwar eine einfache aber zweckmäßige Einrichtung. Das Essen gehört zur Spitzenklasse. Die Filets waren Medium auf den Punkt und gut abgeschmeckt. Der Service ist sehr gut und äußerst angenehm. Kann man mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Der Gastgeber hat uns sehr nett empfangen. Die Bedienung war ebenfalls sehr freundlich und strukturiert. Überrascht war ich von der Anzahl verschiedener Dressings zum Beilagensalat. Wir haben die Orange-Vinegrette gewählt, welche sehr lecker und erfrischend ist. Die Steaks hatten den gewünschten Gargrad und sind überaus lecker gewesen. Mei. Rumpsteak war richtig zart und hatte ein fantastisches Grillaroma, wie es selten der Fall ist. Ich werde hier definitiv nochmal kommen, wenn wir Lust auf Fleisch haben.

Perfekte Steaks, af den Punkt gebraten, sehr leckere Kartoffelecken, Merlot u. Oliven dazu rundeten das Essen ab. Empfehlenswert, aber nur Barzahlung möglich .

War gestern in Mainz und wollte unbedingt Fleisch. Der Inhaber sah uns wie wir seine Karte studierten. Sofort kam er raus und war ein Gastgeber wie man ihn sich wünscht. Super Essen. Freundliches Personal. Bestes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Jederzeit wieder!

Freundlicher, schneller Service. Die Steaks werden perfekt zubereitet und sind geschmacklich sehr gut. Die Pommes finde ich auch sehr lecker. Die Preise sind in Ordnung.

Toller Laden. Essen hat sehr sehr gut geschmeckt. War das beste Steak und das beste Lammfilet was ich je probiert habe. Service war zuvorkommend uns sehr freundlich. Ambiente war innen und aussen natürlich auf dem Schillerplatz sehr schön.

Habe dort einen Rumpsteak aus argentinischem Rind bestellt, und muss ehrlich zugeben, dass ich davon total begeistert war! Die Qualität, sowie Die Zubereitung waren einfach spitze! Ich habe inzwischen ziemlich viele Rumpsteaks in verschiedenen Restaurants gekostet, und dort gab´s einer der leckersten und saftigsten. Das einzige, was mich nicht so überzeugt hat, war der Beilagensalat. Meiner Meinung nach, hat dort der billigste und praktisch geschmacklose Eisbergsalat nichts zu suchen. Ansonsten war alles super. Auf jeden Fall kann ich aber dieses Restaurant zweifellos empfehlen.
