I would recommend reserving a table there, as it's very popular. The atmosphere is really cozy, and the service and food are excellent.

The restaurant was packed. So we made a reservation. We had a table near the restrooms. Well, it wasn't that bad. For dinner, we had rump steak and a sirloin steak. We weren't asked how it was cooked, so we forgot to specify. It ended up being a bit over medium. Well, just about OK. The meat quality is on the cheap side. The fries could have used some fresh oil. All in all, relatively inexpensive, but not for us. Service was friendly.

The service was super friendly. It was no problem getting a table with two dogs (a Cane Corso and a puppy). The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the food was truly delicious. To top it all off, they even offered a small snack for our dogs – highly recommended! 😊👍🏼

We were able to reserve a table at short notice by phone. The service was very good, the ambiance sophisticated. The selection was also very appealing. Unfortunately, everything, including every side dish, costs extra. Oh well, you can expect something. Unfortunately, the steak was rather tough and only lukewarm. The fries were just any old store-bought item. For dessert, I had apple rings, which I also felt came from a deep fryer. Overall, we were disappointed with the quality. The next morning, all our clothes smelled.

Such a friendly welcome, not just for us but also for our dog! The food was delicious! I can hardly remember ever having been served so well and friendly!

Peppersteak (medium) is really delicious with the butter and caramelized onions. 220g is decent size but I would recommend taking the 300g - you will enjoy it longer 😉 Definitely would visit and order again.

Very tasty food and friendly staff. The ambiance could use a bit of a makeover. The Harz charm needs to be adapted to a more modern feel. Overall, though, it's recommended for anyone who appreciates a variety of butcher shops. We really enjoyed it and enjoyed it.

The steak was very good. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked. My husband's pepper sauce with his meat was also excellent. It was very busy that evening and the noise level was correspondingly high, but the service was still very good. Friendly and quick. We would be happy to come back again.

We visited the restaurant once for dinner and once for an overnight stay. The meat is of the highest quality, and we also enjoyed the side dishes very much. The beer is great everywhere else, and the ambiance is just right here. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside on the covered terrace; it quickly gets crowded inside without a reservation. The staff always have a big smile and a friendly remark. The rooms are good value for money, if a bit cramped. If we're ever in the area again, the Zellerfelder Hof is high on our agenda. 😋

If you want to eat a really good piece of meat, then you've come to the right place. My rack of lamb was perfectly cooked and beautifully tender. The pepper steak was also perfectly cooked and the waitress didn't ask about the doneness. The atmosphere is nice and cozy.

The food was incredibly tasty and the service was great too. We also thought it was great that we were allowed to take our dog with us. In the end he got beef on the house. I can highly recommend the steakhouse.

Unfortunately it has worn off a lot.👎 On my last visit, just before Christmas, I had a large salad with strips of beef. That wasn't my thing for the price. It was all mixed together and there was a lot of canned corn on it. The dressing was very lightly seasoned, but that's a matter of taste. For dessert I had apple rings with vanilla ice cream. The apple rings were floating in the fat. It doesn't work at all. I'm actually I would also like to go there. But I'll have to think about it. Service was great. Very friendly and we often asked if everything was okay.👍

Amazing! I was there with my wife and our three small dogs. The staff was super friendly. The food was incredible. I had ribeye and my wife had a rump steak; both dishes were delicious. The mushroom soup was also perfect. We will definitely come back again ❤️

Our friends slept in the Zellerfelder Hof. They had a very nice, modern, clean room. We were all extremely positively surprised. We joined them for breakfast. This is cheap and offers everything you like and need. The service was extremely friendly and 7nd friendly! A real recommendation!

Sehr leckeres Essen, wir haben einen Tisch bekommen, ohne zu reservieren. Das Servicepersonal hatte seine ersten Arbeitstage erst hinter sich, gab sich aber alle Mühe und war freundlich. Wartezeit war kurz. Man bestellt hier das Grundgericht und kann sich die gewünschten Beilagen dazu selber auswählen, was den Vorteil hat, dass mann das eigentliche Menü nicht umbestellen muss. Preis-Leistung geht voll in Ordnung. Getränke ortsüblich, aber ich denke allgemein zu teuer.

The food was better in the steakhouse. A steak ordered medium rare was served in English, red wine ordered was not brought at all and the cauliflower fried in beer batter was left in sauce.

The Steakhouse Zellerfelder Hof restaurant not only has an excellent restaurant but also rents out hotel rooms and apartments. A successful combination. We booked an apartment for 4 nights. The apartment number 3 we had was very functional, clean and comfortably furnished. The kitchen has a small stove with 2 hotplates, a kettle, coffee machine (for which you need ground coffee) and a refrigerator. Of course crockery, glasses and cutlery for about 3 people. The meal can be eaten at a small folding table… if you want… Because in the restaurant's dining room you not only have breakfast from 8:00 a.m. - you can also have an excellent dinner. It's not much fun to cook in the kitchen yourself. Reserving a table is an advantage. A copy of the menu is available to download on the website. The staff, the waitresses and the assistants are very friendly and helpful. They are never stressed and also have good tips. They take their time to explain if a few questions are unanswered. The apartment is probably cleaned every 2 days, or more often if requested (sign). Everything is very positive, including the fact that there is a large parking lot in the courtyard where all guests can park their car or motorcycle. Motorcycles even covered. Perfect. But where there is a lot of light, there is also a little shadow. Our apartment was located at the front, directly facing the street. This road (Goslarsche Str. - B241) is very busy - even at night. Still clearly audible through closed windows. Opening windows at night is not possible for us. The bathroom had a very small sink, which was a challenge - the floor was a must. The shower faucet... You could adjust the water temperature using a rotary knob, but the water was turned on and off with push buttons. Press the water on, press again, close the water. The hand shower had to be held firmly as the full water pressure was applied to the nozzles. A fairly hard shower jet... but it had the advantage - it got into all the nooks and crannies. But that's certainly complaining at a high level. We liked it a lot. Not least because of the extremely friendly and courteous staff, the delicious dinner and the rich breakfast. If we book again, it will be an apartment on the side or, better, on the courtyard side.
