Very good cuisine with great quality meat. Meat is perfectly fried. Only the extractor hood needs to work better. The smells of frying are noticeable in the dining room and your own clothing naturally absorbs them. Otherwise everything was great - we'll definitely be back. Kind regards from Pankow.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately informed by the owner that payment by debit or credit card was not possible. We hadn't even taken a seat yet. After ordering the food, which was fine, we saw that another customer could pay with an ATM. When we wanted to pay after dinner, the owner refused our request to pay by debit or credit card. I pointed out to him that he had just had another customer pay with an ATM and asked why this was not possible now. He indicated that our cards were not good. We have left the restaurant and will not return here.

The price-performance ratio was very fair if you look at the restaurant prices in recent years. The food was very tasty. We had the burger and the venison steak.

It was fantastic! A small card that fulfills all wishes! The meat could be expanded in 50 gram increments. The service was great and extremely fast! And then the food tasted wonderful too! Always worth a trip!

Quaint little restaurant. There were seven of us and everything tasted very good, the price-performance ratio is good. We also had turkey steak and hake as well as beautifully decorated baked apples and tipsy raspberries. The Altenauer Dark is also recommended.

The Klippen-Grill is by far the best restaurant in Altenau. There are prepared menus, but you can choose your own side dishes and meat. In any case, the meat is perfectly prepared and you can watch the preparation through the transparent kitchen. The service is fast, friendly and reliable. The toilet is also clean and the prices are really acceptable for all of this. We'd love to come back. Update 2024: No change, great service, great location, great food. Any time.

We were there on 5/15/24 because it was recommended to us. We can only report positive things. At this time there is little going on in the town, many complain about a lack of staff, which is why the grill was only open from Wednesday. The food was simply great for a good price and we were served very friendly. We would visit this grill again and again! Thank you for the nice hospitality.

As always, the food was very, very tasty. Male service force was very fake. Unfortunately we didn't get anything to drink for our little dog, we had to go to the dirty water bowl in front of the restaurant.

Hirschsteak einfach köstlich, das Ambiente und die Bedienung ist spitze. Ein überdachter Aussenbereich für Raucher gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist absolut okay. Jeder Zeit wieder.

Ein wunderschönes Restaurant, dass sehr schön und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet ist. Der Empfang war lieb und wir wurden gleich zu unserem Tisch geführt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich. Ihr seid ein tolles Team. Das Essen ist von einer hohen Qualität und sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder und werden die nächsten Köstlichkeiten von der Karte genießen. Ich persönlich würde dort immer einen Tisch vorbestellen 😊.

Auf Empfehlung unserer Pension haben wir dort einen Tisch reserviert und wurden nicht enttäuscht! Sehr sehr gutes leckeres Essen, ein super Service und ein tolles Ambiente! Auch mit Kleinkind (15 Monate) wurden wir dort super aufgenommen! Dieses Restaurant ist ein Muss wenn man in Altenau ist, einfach nur TOP!!! Am liebsten würden wir noch mehr Sterne vergeben!

Wir haben beim Klippengrill einen Tisch bestellt weil es immer sehr gut besucht ist ,wir waren sehr zufrieden das Essen war super lecker und der Service sehr gut und freundlich :-) Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können es jedem empfehlen ;-) Spitzenkoch und Spitzenteam macht weiter so :-)

Ambiente : gemütlich, die Wände könnten allerdings einen frischen Anstrich vertragen. Service : einwandfrei Das Essen : nachdem mir soviel davon vorgeschwärmt wurde, war ich etwas enttäuscht. (Ich hatte das Hirschsteak) Das Stück Fleisch war recht klein und enthielt "Zadder", also etwas, was man nicht kauen konnte. Die Soße ziemlich dünn und viel zu wenig.

Nur zu Empfehlen. Bedienung ist super und Essen auch 😊

Als meine Frau vorschlug, hierhin zu gehen war ich anfangs skeptisch. Bei „Grill“ hatte ich Bedenken. Jedoch war das Essen, Ambiente und vor allem der Service der Hammer! Hier würde ich jederzeit wieder einkehren. Also „Daumen hoch“ für dieses kulinarische Highlight von Altenau:

Für mich das beste Restaurant in Altenau, dazu auch noch günstig. Schönes Ambiente, auch bei Regen kann man, da überdacht, bei milden Temperaturen gut draußen speisen. Sehr gute Auswahl an leckeren Gerichten, meine absolute Empfehlung 👍

Ein sehr schönes kleines uriges Restaurant mit Außensitzmöglichkeiten, auch bei Regen. Der Service war super nett und sehr schnell. Das Essen war frisch zubereitet inkl. frischer Champions. Meine Medaillons vom Schweinefilet waren auf den Punkt gebraten und die dazugehörige Kräuterbutter war ebenfalls selbst gemacht und nicht aus der Packung. Die Pommes waren frisch und schmeckten nicht nach altem Frittenfett. Bezahlung ist per bar oder Karte möglich und nach der Rechnung gab es als Gruß des Hauses einen selbstangesetzten Beerenlikör. Alles in allem ein super Service und sehr leckeres handgemachtes Essen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend und Grüße an das gesamte Team
