We were there with friends and had such a lovely evening. The staff was more than just staff. So nice, attentive and they love their job. Today we relied on the waiter for his recommendations and were not disappointed in any way, whether it was food or drinks. I made another reservation straight away. See you next time. Steakhouse good value for money. The extensive salad buffet is definitely recommended for the main course. There is a wide selection of main courses, at reasonable prices with good taste. Even though it was fully booked, orders were taken quickly and you didn't have to wait long for your food. I can recommend the restaurant.

Very nice experience We ate at El Carnicero again for our son's 9th birthday. We like going there because the service and the food are very, very good. On the birthday evening, the very attentive waiter found out pretty quickly that it was our son's birthday. He probably told that to the boss, who came to us a short time later, had a little chat with the 9-year-old and placed a “Happy Birthday” sign on our table. This continued over the course of the evening. Sometimes the boss, sometimes the waiter came and looked after the young man in a very, very friendly and caring manner. He clearly enjoyed the attention. After dinner the boss came and promised a special surprise. The surprise came a little later: the light in the dining room dimmed, a fountain of sparks on a large dessert plate was brought to our table by the impressively singing waiter! We were all amazed - the young man sat there in amazement and was really happy... We were really very touched by this wonderful and kind gesture! That was something special and is still keeping us busy a few days later. Thank you very much - that was great cinema! And of course it tasted good too.

The food wasn't quite my thing... not salty...hardly any taste

Rarely have I had such a good steak. Even though something went wrong with the order, we all got food at the same time. Namely what we ordered. Very nice service. We've been there many times now and keep coming back.

The food was very good, but the staff was horrible. I had forgotten the name I had reserved under. We arrived, I said my middle name, that I had reserved a day in advance, two pieces from the staff went into a big discussion that this couldn't be the case, that they had already been fully booked for two weeks. I then said that I called 100% yesterday and made a reservation. And the person on the phone said that they only had one table left for five people, and the answer was very snippy and said that such a thing is never said that it can't be. One of the staff went through the list again. If I hadn't found myself, we would have 100% been sent away again.

Best steak I've eaten so far. I had Irish salt beef medium rare. It had been cooked perfectly. The pepper sauce was very fine. Fries were also very crispy, and a Franconian dark beer on tap was a delight. As a starter you could put together your own plate from the salad buffet.

Price performance is okay. What I don't understand is the salad bar, I was expecting fresh salads and side dishes, but not canned kidney beans and chickpeas etc. In addition, I've never experienced the cost of almost 4 euros for a portion of herb butter the size of an ice cream ball with a steak. Well, I expected something different, but you always learn. However, I wouldn't visit the restaurant again.

The food is super tasty, prices are for the higher budget. The menus must be put together independently. For me personally, the portion was enough, my husband, who eats more, was still hungry at the end. The steak was perfect. The salad buffet is inside, unfortunately apparently not cooled, not covered. I didn't like the salad, so I had to get it myself. We sat outside in nice weather. Ambience is quite good. Result for me, was interesting and tasty, but I won't go there again.

Food was top notch as always…beef fillet with sweet potatoes, fries and salad buffet… The highlight today was….Kukki…cocktail in a bottle frozen at -18 degrees….quickly put in the cocktail toaster and enjoy….fantastic…

We often go to El Carnicero and I have never had a better fillet steak. It is so incredibly delicious and tender. Always my pleasure.

The food itself was very tasty and the portion sizes were reasonable. Unfortunately, the absolutely unfriendly and inappropriate behavior of the service employee Angie towards my child and me overshadowed the good food. I refuse to accept statements about what my child “must” eat and what not, as well as about my child not listening to me. A toddler (2.5) cannot be tied to a chair for 3 hours. In addition, he did not disrupt the service or other restaurant guests. He just played with his cars right at our table and went outside to watch cars. After this experience with children, we would not visit this restaurant again

A little disappointed. The quality has deteriorated quite a bit, the food is too salty, the meat is sometimes tough, and the gourmet salad at €22 is overpriced and not particularly tasty. We've eaten there a few times and have never been disappointed. Tonight we are waiting there with 8 people, including 2 children. Not only was the food great, as always, but also the service, which patiently fulfilled every wish. We had booked online in advance, with a note that we had a small child with us. When we arrived there was already a high chair at the table. The great service and great food made the evening just perfect

Very tasty, large enough portions and great service. What was worth highlighting was the quality of the meat - I've rarely eaten anything this good! Unfortunately (as always there) I couldn't finish the whole plate, so there was still a side dish left over. Price justified Always happy 😀

Great 350g beef fillet eaten, everything else was also delicious and funny, attentive service made everything even better. Small drawbacks were the salad that was far too fatty and the sweet potato fries that were quite soggy. Overall, pretty great evening!

A steakhouse. There are a few, but here they REALLY know about meat. I didn't know the restaurant and was invited. Large selection, top selection of side dishes from standard fries to fried potatoes and also recipes with sweet potatoes. The meat is available in different portion sizes. Vegetable side dishes such as green beans with bacon and a rich selection at the salad buffet. The whole thing is Mexican style. Good selection of drinks and wine as well as a top house wine that goes well with the meat. There is also something on the menu for groups of connoisseurs with vegetarians on board. Well....lastly I have to note the attentive service and the great parking situation opposite....my recommendation.

Delicious. Very friendly. You will definitely be full. The lemonades are good. It might be too loud for some people (but it was really full). But you should try it out as a steakhouse. And be sure to reserve! We will definitely go again. Recommended.

We were regular customers there. But we've had a little toy poodle for three years now. Now we're no longer allowed to come. We go to the niedmühle in Rehlingen to the genusshotel. We're allowed to come to any restaurant there, just not to the steakhouse

I have always eaten well in this restaurant except this time Well, the super dry roast potatoes to share so not even one potato per head and I found that apart from the meat the plate was empty no decoration apart from a single pepper on the plate And for the price I don't even talk about it If only it was better than the other times (we can pay more but we want quality for the price)

Dear restaurant team, I would like to share with you my experience, which was overshadowed by some disappointments despite the culinary delights. We ordered pork ribs, salad, grilled corn and mushrooms, and french fries. Unfortunately, there were misunderstandings due to our limited knowledge of German, and in addition to the French fries, the waiter brought us boiled potatoes with sour cream sauce, which we had not ordered. Despite repeated requests to remove the unwanted potatoes, our concerns were not adequately addressed, resulting in frustration. The situation escalated unnecessarily when we were threatened with saying that we would call the police. Such behavior was not only inappropriate but also extremely unpleasant for us and ruined our evening. The way the food was packaged also left something to be desired. We were given a wooden fruit box to transport our food, which was not only inconvenient but also disappointing. When we returned we discovered that not all of the food we ordered had been packed, which led to further dissatisfaction. As someone who has worked in the catering industry for many years, it is incomprehensible to me that a guest leaves the restaurant dissatisfied without steps being taken to solve the problem. Despite these shortcomings, I would like to emphasize that the taste of the food was excellent. However, the service clearly leaves a lot to be desired. Regarding the tip, I would like to point out that the bill was 62 euros, but no change of 70 euros was given. Leaving an appropriate tip is a given for me, but the service must also be appropriate. I remain with kind regards in the hope that my comments will be received constructively. I would also like to point out that the administrator did not approach us to resolve the conflict, which contributed to our displeasure.

In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is poor. Too expensive for what it is. Fries cost a lot extra for a small portion. And the small portion of sauce for extra money is not worth mentioning. You can only get full with the salad buffet. At least that's how it was for me. But meat is delicious, I don't want to hide that.

Weder auf deren Seite von EL Carnicero Gersweiler noch bei der online Bestellung möglich. Direkte Mailanfrage an Restaurant wird 3 Wochen nach Eingang heute per Telefon beantwortet - kurz vor dem gebuchten Termin - keine Hunde erlaubt. Dies dann noch in einem nicht gerade freundlichen Ton. Schade. Ich akzeptiere, dass Hunde nicht erlaubt sind und es selbstverständlich im Ermessen des Betreibers liegt. Allerdings eine solch unprofessionelle und kundenunfreundliche Weise, habe ich bislang noch nicht erlebt. Fazit : Service und Kundenorientierung mangelhaft.

Our favorite restaurant for years. Never eaten better meat. Quality is consistently great. Atmosphere quaint. Staff always tried hard, attentive and quick. Here you never wait too long for your food, even when it's busy.

Es war ein Erlebnis Essen gut Ambiente gut Bedienung nett alles super.

Sommer, Sonne, Sonnenschein und obendrein noch Geburtstag. Ich dachte mir, eine tolle Kombination um ein Steakhaus zu besuchen. Zu meiner Ernüchterung gab es dort weder T-Bone Steak noch Tomahawk. Bei Filet hört es auf, aber keine neuseeländisches dry aged, nein nein, ganz normales Filet. Ist für mich nicht der Sinn eines Steakhauses, zumal auf der Homepage ein T-Bone Steak auf der Startseite zu sehen ist. Langer Rede kurzer Sinn: es gab einen Grillteller, geschmacklich ok, Fleisch teilweise zu trocken. Service ausbaufähig, ich hatte das Gefühl, ich muss um ein Bier betteln.

Überteuert und total enttäuscht von den Portionsgrößen. Es wird keinen zweiten Besuch geben.

Alles in allem gab es nichts zu bemängeln. Das Steak war auf den Punkt, die Beilagen lecker und reichlich sowie der Service regelmäßig am Tisch. Für was es allerdings ein Salatbuffet gibt wenn man nur einmal sich eine Schale holen darf haben wir nicht verstanden. Dann kann man auch direkt den Beilagensalat zum Gericht an den Tisch bringen.

Ein Steakhaus mit ebensolchen Spezialitäten. Insbesondere das 350 - 400 g große Flankensteak vom Rind mit Süßkartoffel-Pommes und Knoblauch- sowie Wasabi-Dip sind geschmacklich und ökonomisch hervorragend (24,50€). Die Grillplatte (34,50/Person) kann ab zwei Personen bestellt werden und vereinigt Alles, was einer solchen Platte gut zu Gesicht steht. Grüne Nudeln zu m Fisch waren leider nicht mehr "al dente". Beilagen-Salat gibt's von Buffet. Der Service war zuvorkommend und mit viel Chuzpe ausgestattet ;-) Ein Spitzen-Restaurant mit gutem Angebot, preislich moderat, Update: wir wohnen nun im die Ecke, nach wie vor ist Preis-Leistung gut Ebenso weiterhin: Vernünftig lustige und daher sympathische Angestellte😄 Vorab die Salat-Bar, eine Zusammenstellung auf einem Bild zu sehen Die Bison - Spezialität ist aktuell erhältlich

Das Essen war sehr gut, die Bedienung freundlich und gut organisiert und das Essen war für unsere relativ große Gruppe zeitlich fast gleichzeitig fertig. Sehr gut. Das Fleisch war sehr 👍🏼

Bin das erstenmal dort zum essen gewesen. Wir hatten keine Tisch Reservierung, was von Vorteil ist. Es wurde uns doch mit Freundlichkeit ein sehr guter Platz zugeteilt. Ich muss sagen das Essen war sehr gut, auch die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Ich mit Sicherheit nicht das letztemL dort.

Sehr gutes Essen, große Portionen und sehr freundliches Personal. Zwar nicht ganz günstig, aber dafür bekommt man sehr gute Essensqualität geboten. Es gibt nur eine Sache die mich stört und das ist die Tatsache, dass wenn man bei einem Gericht die Beilage ändert (z.B. statt Bratkartoffeln, Pommes ), einen Aufpreis zahlen muss, obwohl die gewünschte Beilage unter Umständen sogar günstiger ist. Das erschließt sich mir nicht ganz........ Trotzdem gehen wir dort gerne hin
