My first visit to Gusto Steakhouse was an absolute delight. Esad and Nermina turn hospitality into an art — from the perfectly grilled steak and excellent wine to the warm, elegant atmosphere. You can feel their passion in every detail. A true gem of Saarbrücken where flavor and heart meet.

I loved it! We tried some tapas to start, then pasta, a steak, and finally the brownie for dessert, which was the best thing of the night. 100% recommended.

Hi everyone, My honest feedback as a restaurant fanatic, or even a killer. Review: Steakhouse Gusto I was at the steakhouse recently and would like to share my honest opinion – from service to food. Food: The steak was truly outstanding. Perfectly prepared, juicy, and full of flavor – especially combined with the herb butter, simply "brutally delicious." I'm convinced that's what sets this place apart. You can tell someone here knows their meat. The appetizer was also delicious. While it wasn't of the highest premium quality, it still tasted absolutely fine and fit well with the overall experience. In my opinion, the bread could have been a bit fluffier, with a crispier crust, and served slightly warm – that would have rounded off the whole experience perfectly. Nevertheless: it tasted good, but that's also a matter of taste. Drinks: The drinks were also impressive. Fresh, well-tempered, and delicious – everything was just right here. Service: The service was excellent – ​​friendly, attentive, and polite without being intrusive. The wait time was reasonable, especially considering the freshly prepared food and the quality is simply top-notch. Special praise also goes to the chef – a very personable and attentive guy who is clearly passionate about his work. Ambience & Comfort: The ambiance is generally acceptable, but there's still room for improvement. The art on the walls is cool and adds character to the place, but the atmosphere could be made a bit more lively, yet at the same time more comfortable and peaceful. The chairs are simple and rather standard, but not uncomfortable. Cleanliness was absolutely impeccable; you really can't complain there. There's plenty of space, and you can tell they've tried to make the most of the space. Conclusion: Overall, a really good steakhouse where the food is clearly the focus. Small improvements to the ambiance and the appetizers, and it would be almost perfect. My girlfriend and I were spontaneously strolling through the city center and stumbled upon this steakhouse. Overall, we were very satisfied with the Wagyu burger and Mediterranean salad.

I was there with my husband for our anniversary. The food was 10/10 and the service was top-notch. The chef even chatted with us afterward and took his time. The food arrived in less than 15 minutes, and it was eaten in less than 15 minutes, given how good it was. 😂😂

I moved here from Munich a year ago and I have to say this is by far the best restaurant I've seen here. I've already been to Restaurant Mensch in Munich, but you'll definitely see me here more often. The service was incredibly friendly and funny. The manager came over himself and asked us how we were and was just as funny as the waitress. The food was 10/10 and we didn't even have to wait 10 minutes. I'd definitely go back!

A small, cozy restaurant with good, friendly service and first-class food, for which I would happily award 6 stars. The steak was a dream—perfectly cooked, tender as butter, and absolutely delicious. The homemade ice cream is also a must-try. The prices are reasonable.

I ordered a Wagyu burger as it sounded "exotic". However, it was a dissapointment. The burger came with fries, however, the burger and fries has no dressing or dip with it. So the only "sauce" was the beef juice, it felt odd to have a burger like this. Maybe it is just me, but I expected to have something with the fries instead of just potatoes and salt. The fries were good, but the burger was an issue, I believe it was around 23€ for a burger that just tasted of onions, beef and an aftertaste of something charred like the burger-bun got a bit too roasted. It self like a 10€ burger set than a 23€, I don't want to recommend the Wagyu burger, maybe some of the other burgers are better?

I've never spent so much money on a piece of meat before—but it was probably the best of my life so far. The side dishes could have been more generous, though... you don't have to put less on your plate these days to be perceived as noble, sir! Speaking of sir—the chef/chef even came to the table and asked if everyone enjoyed their meal. They did.

Great steaks and good service I've rarely eaten such good meat

Unfortunately, the owner's response to a cold steak was simply to say it wasn't his problem; he was too busy. This was unacceptable, despite a wait of over 1.5 hours.

The steak was perfect, the fried potatoes were amazing, and the pepper sauce was fantastic. The service was also very friendly, professional, and helpful.

We were there with a large group, including a pre-order. After waiting 1.5 hours for our food (despite pre-ordering), many of us were unfortunately served cold. Unfortunately, the owner is unable to accept criticism. The service staff does a great job, but it's obvious that they, too, are embarrassed by the boss's behavior.

We were there with a larger group of 18 people. The food took 1.5 hours from ordering to arriving at the table (despite having pre-ordered). Several dishes were cold. I asked the manager about it, and his response was, "It's not my problem" (unfortunately, I'm not joking). Even the waitress was embarrassed, although she did a great job.

This is hands down the best steakhouse in Saarbrücken that I've tried. Their dry-aged steak is fantastic, and the lamb steak is also delicious and a great value. The side dishes are also top, with both the vegetables and fries being exceptional! On top of that, the service here is outstanding! The vibe is wonderful, and the chef is kind and truly care about their customers' experience. Highly recommend!

My only complaint is that after I complained about a hair in the food (which can always happen), I wasn't offered any accommodation in the price or anything similar. Unfortunately, I'm very sensitive and can't continue eating, so my plate went back still full.

We had arranged to meet up with very good friends for an evening at the Gusto Steakhouse. Our friends were already familiar with the steakhouse and they were really excited about it, which is why we visited the restaurant with a certain amount of anticipation and expectation. Such a tender piece of meat with these wonderful roasted aromas, it was a pure culinary delight and taste explosion. We will visit the owner-run restaurant more often in the future, especially since the chef has an excellent command of the art of cooking. How to turn a piece of meat into an excellent steak is a science in itself. A lengthy maturing process with optimal climatic conditions is a prerequisite for this, which is why guests can also see a ripening chamber for the meat in the dining room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There are various artistic exhibits on the walls in the guest room, which can also be purchased. All in all, it was a wonderful evening that ended with a culinary highlight.

Well, it's okay😋 we've been in Saarbrücken for a few days and we were already doubting our taste. It's not easy to find a good restaurant in a foreign city. Today we were very excited and positively surprised after we weren't so lucky with our selection yesterday! Gusto hits it and preferably Bon Gusto and it was also very tasty, great ambience, nice service! Gladly again!

Order goods: 1 starter salad 1 rump steak 300g with fries 1 Angus steak 300g with baked potato Starter was tasty with good dressing. The meat was all perfectly fried and of good quality. The fries and homemade herb butter were also really top. The only thing that could have been mentioned about the baked potato with sour cream was that it had pieces of pepper. It was a shame because it wasn't my case. So GB it's just baked potatoes with salt and pepper. Service was very nice but a bit inattentive, but when spoken to directly it was very nice and quick.

We were at Gusto for the first time today. Turns out it was a great idea! Starting with the very friendly and simply familiar atmosphere, through the absolutely courteous service to the fantastic food! As a starter we had the small tapas variation - a clear recommendation! Super fresh and very well coordinated delicacies for 2 people. For the main course we all had the US Black Angus with different side dishes. The meat was simply a dream and fried medium to perfection, just as we requested. All the side dishes, including the fries, the fried potatoes and the Mediterranean vegetables, were delicious and fresh! We will definitely be back and can only recommend Gusto!

And the fried potatoes were hot and homemade! That's why I would give it the 6th star because many other restaurants like to use ready-made products... We'll definitely be back!

It's nice to sit in the pedestrian zone - there's a lot to see there🤣 Burger with fries and small steak with fresh salad were very good. Dressing a bit scarce - but you could definitely have ordered more. We can recommend.

The food and service at the steakhouse was first class. You can look at the steak in the drying cabinet before preparing it. The boss himself came over and explained everything nicely. The service person was super nice. The ice cream for dessert is made in-house and you can taste it. 1a quality!!!

Decent quality and great hosts.

I spent a special evening in this small and welcoming restaurant. I took the only fish dish available, I don't eat meat, and it was delicious. The people with me got the burgers, finding them delicious. The desserts are a surprise, the tiramisu is not like the Italian one, it is totally different, but delicious. The owner and his wife who prepare the dishes communicate calm, kindness and serenity. They made us feel good, there was an atmosphere that, also thanks to the works displayed on the walls, moved me. I will be back in the summer, Saarbrücken is worth a visit even just for dinner here. See you soon!

Durch eine Einladung von einem Freund, dort zu Gast gewesen. Man wurde direkt freundlich begrüßt und zum Tisch begleitet. Der Service war tadellos und sehr zuvor kommend, scheint auch dort üblich zu sein, da wir von zwei verschiedenen Kellner/in bedient wurden. Das Essen ( Agnus Burger ) war perfekt und obwohl ich kein Freund von nicht durch gebratenem bin, ließ ich mich darauf ein und war begeistert. Der Chefkoch war sehr interessiert daran dass, man als Gast zufrieden war und sich wohl fühlte. Preislich absolut im Rahmen und ein rundum gelungener Abend. Empfehlenswert!

Sehr schönes und angenehmes Ambiente. Guter Rose wird serviert von einer sehr freundlichen Bedienung. Die Vorspeise, eine Basilikum Tomatencreme-Suppe, fantastisch serviert mit frischem Basilikum. Die Hauptspeise, US Black Angus Steak 300g, medium zubereitet und genau auf den gewünschten Punkt getroffen. Folienkartoffel als Beilage mit einer hausgemachten Quarkfüllung und hausgemachter Kräuterbutter - sehr, sehr zu empfehlen. Das Ganze sehr schön serviert, mit viel Feingefühl. Dazu gab es noch einen spanischen Rotwein, trocken und bestens passend zum Gericht. Wer in Saarbrücken unterwegs ist muss unbedingt dieses Restaurant "Gusto Steakhouse" besuchen, wird mit Sicherheit nicht enttäuscht.

Online gereserveerd maar toen we binnen kwamen keken ze erg geschrokken alsof de reservering niet bekend was. We werden beneden in de kelder geplaatst zonder dat men vroeg of deze plek uberhaupt oké was. Tenslotte werd tijdens het bestellen van de gerechten medegedeeld dat ze niet alles meer op voorraad hadden, waaronder de dry-aged beef. Ik had hier meer van verwacht.

Als Veggie findet man besseres in 15 Sekunden Entfernung. Die Tapas uninspiriert, das Tiramisu langweilig, Pommes und Bratkartoffeln ok, die Pasta Verdura Gemüse mit Lachs und nach Reklamation Reis mit Gemüse. Wir waren 17 Leute, die Steaks waren wohl gut.

Sehr empfehlenswert! Wir hatten unsere Reservierung Samstag Abend um 20 Uhr und wurden prompt und sehr zuvorkommend bedient. Unsere Vorspeisen (Tapas Variation und Tatar) kamen zügig und waren ausgesprochen köstlich. Der Hauptgang (Angus Steak, Irish Steak und Wagyu Burger) kamen auch punktgenau und waren ebenso reichhaltig wie lecker. Auch auf die Getränke musste man nicht warten, da die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam war. Alles in Allem ein wunderbarer Abend! wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Für die gebotene Qualität ist der Preis einfach zu hoch.

Ein Steakhouse das man besuchen muss, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super und der Service einfach nur beste Qualität, freundlich mit dem gezielten Auge für Diskretion und Timing. Die Karte ist klein gehalten und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas leckeres. Der Chefkoch kommt persönlich an den Tisch um kurz zu fragen ob man zufrieden war. Ausnahmslos zu empfehlen.
