Very cozy location, top-notch service, and perfect food. I don't know of any better

The food was tasteless and unseasoned. I wouldn't recommend it. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was friendly.

I went there with my family in March. It changed hands half a year ago, and now the good food is gone. Everything tasted "mass-produced," and the schnitzels were most likely not prepared on-site. My mom's food was burnt, and other dishes were cold. The family was regular customers there six or seven years ago, but that seems to be over now.

We're always happy to come back! We simply love the food there. Our dog is welcome there too!

You can sit outside very nicely

Delicious salad buffet and perfectly cooked meat. I prefer sitting outside. And there's plenty of parking.

We ate outside on the terrace on a sunny day in August 2025. Right on the marina, with a beautiful view of the canal and flowers planted all around. Loved it! We had the champignon schnitzel and the fish from the lunch menu, with a soup starter and salad from the buffet. The portions were generous. The service was always there, even outside. Highly recommended!

We are completely satisfied. Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was very, very tasty. The meat was beautifully tender, the seasonings were perfectly balanced, and the side dishes like rice and fries were also nothing to complain about. I had read a review that said the ambiance and decor were a bit dated. That may be true. But it must be said that this is precisely what makes it so charming. We really like it. The furnishings aren't worn out, they're just not modern anymore. We've been there several times now. It's never loud, and the staff don't rush around. Because that's unfortunately "modern" these days, or rather, the norm. In all the restaurants, there's stress and noise levels that are almost unbearable. Here, we feel completely at home and can unwind and enjoy ourselves. Thank you for that!

The staff was friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the atmosphere in the beer garden. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was run-of-the-mill frozen fare, and the mushroom cream sauce was a flavorless mess.

Could use a renovation, especially inside

The baked vegetable plate with chanterelles for €17.90 consisted of frozen vegetables with a maximum of 10 small chanterelles and three small rösti (fried potatoes). The vegetables, including the chanterelles, were 'cooked' in their own juices and therefore no longer firm to the bite. The cheese wasn't baked, merely melted. The vegetable plate remained untouched after three disappointing forksfuls, but was billed despite friendly criticism. The other guests' meat was fine, and the service was attentive and friendly. All in all, unfortunately, not recommended, also due to the rather simple ambiance inside and out. The asking price certainly doesn't reflect what you get.

We were there on Saturday and were very disappointed. 😞. The price-performance ratio was absolutely not right. The steak was tiny and the fries were small enough to count. My salad came with four small slices of baguette, which were unfortunately very dry. Perhaps they could have put them in the toaster for a bit. The service was very friendly, but it wasn't exactly a real treat. We definitely won't be coming back.

The meat was okay, a few pieces were tough, and the fish had a few bones. It was good value for money.

Horrible. I ordered a Coke. It doesn't have any carbonation. I complained, and the answer was, "No chance." Poor service: He also said he simply turned the bottle upside down. I assume that's why there was hardly any carbonation left in the bottle, and of course because of the forceful pouring. The lack of carbonation wasn't accepted, rude, and a comment like that. I can't recommend it to anyone.

The food could have been better overall, but the taste didn't quite convince us. Unfortunately, our visit wasn't as satisfying as we expected. The portion of fries came with mayonnaise and ketchup, which was generally well-intentioned, but ultimately turned out to be an extra item on the bill. We weren't asked about it beforehand or informed of this. Such "hidden" costs seem unnecessary and leave the impression of a rip-off. A waste of time and money. We definitely won't be coming back.

Unfortunately, the food was only OK. The schnitzel lacked salt and pepper. The fries were cold. The lemon for the schnitzel was old. The cutlery had water stains. The portions were really too small, even for the price. The ambiance is quite nice, and the service was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the craftsmanship was a bit lacking. For example, the lady gets the menu first, food is served from the right, etc. In a restaurant with such hefty prices, such small things shouldn't be a letdown. And the malt beer I ordered was unfortunately not very well chilled. We won't be coming back.

I definitely enjoyed the food there. What I find a little strange is that you get two side dishes, for example, buttered rice and croquettes.

The head waiter was apparently annoyed that we had reserved for 20 people and wanted to sit outside... His first action: insulting my mother in Albanian... It's a shame when you don't think about the fact that customers might understand you... That was the last time we ate there for a while.... Next time, maybe don't insult the customers or their mothers 🤞🏼

Unfortunately, the restaurant hasn't developed well over the years...we reserved a table by phone. Fortunately, we were able to get a table outside when we arrived, as it wasn't full despite the good weather. We got the card and that was the end of the good mood. It was a shortened, overpriced "holiday menu" - that's why we didn't come here. When we asked, we were told that Mother's Day is a public holiday...well, it's a celebratory occasion, but now it's to be taken from that to fool people... We then canceled and moved on. There was no information either by phone or on the homepage. In a short space of time, several guests left because of the menu. I wish you all the best in the future - just without us.

The food is delicious, but it's far too little, I came here not very hungry and I'm still hungry after eating... 30% holiday surcharge and half off the food… absolutely no recommendation on public holidays…

Very long waiting time for drinks, waiter unfriendly and arrogant, American Express payment only in the restaurant, not possible outside...all in all quite weak....:(

Unfortunately our visit was a complete failure. We were there with six people and were completely disappointed. The meat was dry and tough, the fries were unseasoned and the hollandaise sauce had no flavor whatsoever. The drinks (Cola, Sprite, etc.) tasted like water - hardly any carbonation, no aroma. The holiday menu consisted of just six dishes, but was extremely expensive. Particularly incomprehensible: The Kinderschnitzel and the Wiener Schnitzel hardly differed in size, but cost 12 euros more. The small salad bar was disappointing - no feta cheese, no olives - and was open to the entire restaurant, resulting in long waits. All drinks were over 3 euros, even the water. The waiting time was also unacceptable: we got there at 1:30 p.m., didn't get the drinks until around 2:00 p.m. and the food finally came at 2:38 p.m. In addition, the schnitzel was completely dry, as was the rest of the meat. Other guests have also complained about the limited offerings and high prices. Unfortunately the toilet was also without towel paper. If you give way to the stressed service staff, they don't even say thank you. Conclusion: disappointed, way too overpriced, poor quality, poor service - we definitely won't be coming back.

Our colorful group has been bowling there for a few years now. The prices are, let's say, adjusted to the percentage crisis in Germany. The food is okay and you'll be full. Drinks a bit overpriced. The service is OK. Regarding the bowling alleys: you can read about ultra-modern alleys on the Internet. Really now!! The parts are in need of overhaul. And the increase in the hourly price from 7.50 euros to a whopping 10.00 euros is in no way understandable. With this percentage increase, I expect a top bowling alley that is maintained, cleaned and technically in perfect condition. That is not the case here. We regularly book the train for 3 hours = 30 euros. Hello, there are more modern tracks for this set. So: dear operators, reconsider the overall concept of the two dilapidated bowling alleys. Otherwise it could happen that not only our club is looking for another establishment!! It would be a shame if that happened. This is definitely not a completely negative review, but you should think about it. Nevertheless, I wish the entire team a good future with a bit of room for improvement. You can handle it. LG B.G.

The ambience is very good, light is a bit in short supply, service was very fast, food wasn't that good for the prices I was hoping for more 22 euros for 3 pieces of meat that are not even 1 cm thick and are gone in just a bit plus a spoonful of sauce a 1/4 leaf of salad half a lemon very listlessly prepared and there was more to see on the plate than the food Unfortunately, there is no recommendation, the restaurant used to be better, but to force a guest to do something like that for the price is really awesome, just under €50 less and leaving with a growling stomach

Ambiance is really good and cozy. But the price is really steep for what you get. Food was so-so, the fries weren't salted, etc. The drinks weren't even carbonated. That was definitely the last time we ate there.

Food was very tasty and of good quality. Meat grilled to perfection. Very large portion. The salad buffet is manageable but there is something for everyone. For me, dressings could have had a little more seasoning. The service is hopefully and attentive.

We come to Dortmund from Austria every year and then we always stop for dinner in the marina once or twice. The price-performance ratio is right, the service is very courteous and the portions are more than sufficient. I just haven't received my 2 beer tankards yet, but I'm sticking with it 😅 keep it up.

The ambience and service were top. A self-service salad buffet is available with each main course. Unfortunately, the vegetables from the frozen package are just like the sauces, which are all convenience food. So it has more of the quality of a chip shop, but for schnitzel with fries you pay between 17 and 25 euros. You have to want that. Therefore only 3 stars for the food. Sorry

Es war bisher mein Stammlokal, die Betonung liegt auf war. Ich war zu zweit dort essen und ich bestellte mir einen Grillteller. Essen war so weit in Ordnung wie immer..........doch dass jetzt für einen Grillteller Ajvar und Majo extra berechnet wird, war mir neu. Ich finde, zu einem kroatischen Gericht gehört Ajvar einfach dazu und darf nicht extra berechnet werden. Demnächst werden die Zwiebeln auf dem Gericht auch noch berechnet. Für mich ein ganz klares No-Go und deswegen werde ich dort nicht mehr essen gehen. Schade, aber irgendwann ist das Maß auch voll.............

Restaurant at the campsite with a view of the marina. Friendly service staff, good selection of mostly Croatian dishes, normal prices. We ordered liver with fried onions and Venetian liver with appropriate side dishes. It was plentiful and we enjoyed it very much.

Nice but somewhat outdated restaurant at the marina. Food: Ordered 2x chanterelle cream soup and 2x T-bone steak. The steaks, ordered medium and medium-rare, were perfectly cooked. The chanterelle cream soup was delicious and with some mushrooms. Service: The service was courteous, quick and responded to individual requests - it couldn't be better. Ambiance: Restaurant is a bit old. But nicely located at the marina.

A super tasty pepper fillet of beef always happy to have nice waiters and a great atmosphere.

Either we were unlucky or the quality of the food had declined significantly. My skewers were as dry as a shoe sole, the minced meat was bloody (minced meat must be well done) and we paid a lot of money for fries and a side salad. We won't be coming back again. The schnitzel is tough... That's not how you keep good customers...

It was a nice evening with friends and we ate and drank very well. Salad buffet to start and we continued with excellently prepared main courses, which were brought quickly and very friendly by the service. Finally, a Kruskovac...perfect.

Things were clearly better before. We are giving the restaurant another opportunity to show its best side otherwise the second star will be gone and so will we.
