Nice place, tasty dishes and the service was good. Good choice!

Nice restaurant and very nice ambience. My liver wasn't quite as good, rather a bit dry, and onions were fried. The other dishes were much better for my “blackheads”.

Very good restaurant with a varied menu, delicious food and friendly, fast service. In summer it's worth sitting outside and enjoying the view of the blue lake.

We ate here for grandma's birthday. The location by the lake is great, but the disappointment came when ordering... NO wine list in the steakhouse and only 1 red wine?!?! Then came the steak...port wine steak medium with plum crust...the steak was subpar, bland, watery and tasteless...the plum crust was a tasteless piece of something and the port wine sauce was something tasteless red...worst steak ever and that in a supposed “steakhouse” Plus a scratchy Rioja, hardly drinkable and the other 3 meals were bland, too dry and not edible. NEVER again and I can only advise against it

Wir waren zu Omas Geburtstag hier essen. Sie Lage ist super, aber die Enttäuschung kam schon beim bestellen… KEINE Weinkarte im Steakhaus und nur 1 Rotwein?!?! Dann kam das Steak… Portweinsteak Medium mit Pflaumenkruste… das Steak war unterirdisch, fade, wässrig und geschmacklos… die Pflaumenkruste ein geschmackloses aufgelegtes Stück von irgendwas und die Portweinsosse irgendwas geschmackloses rotes… schlechtestes Steak ever und das in einem angeblichen „Steakhouse“ Dazu ein kratziger Rioja, kaum trinkbar und auch die anderen 3 essen waren fade, zu trocken und nicht genießbar. NIE wieder und ich kann jedem nur abraten

Carpaccio war eine Frechheit 3 kleine Scheiben Fleisch ein paar Krümel Käse der Parmezaan sein sollte aber es nicht war und jede menge Ruccula. Das Filetsteak war voller Sehnen konnte man nicht essen. Das Gehaktessteak gefüllt mit Mozarella war ohne Geschmack, roh van innen und der Mozarella war nog hart und nicht geschmolzen. Es ging natürlich zurück in die Küche und kam dann als Schuhsohle zurück, so trocken. Keine Weinkarte anwesend, hallo in einem Steakhaus??? Und das alles für 105 Euro.

We once had dinner at El Tori with a large group. First of all, the positive points. The view is great, with a direct view of the blue lake. The winter garden is very beautiful and bright. The El Tori team gave us a friendly welcome and excellent service. The food came to the table quickly, completely, at the same time (despite 15 people) and hot in sufficient quantities. Unfortunately, when it comes to eating we also come to the negative points. I ordered a “fish bag (3 types of fish)” with vegetables and potatoes. For both me and the person sitting next to me, the fish bag was more of a vegetable bag with fish instead of a fish bag with vegetables. The ratio was estimated at 30-35% fish and 65-70% vegetables. Due to the high vegetable content, the bag was also very watery and had little taste, despite seasoning with salt and pepper. The potatoes came as a side dish on a separate plate and weren't particularly noteworthy, just potatoes with herbs and rosemary. For me, more than half has gone back. I ate the manageable portion of fish + a small portion of the vegetables and potatoes. The second dish I can judge is my son's. He had a children's plate with fries and schnitzel. The fries were good and nice and crunchy, unfortunately the schnitzel was “fried to death” My personal conclusion: For a short walk around the lake, followed by a wheat beer, just the right thing to quench your thirst. In order to have a delicious meal, I'll drive 3 km further to the nearest steakhouse in the future... Post from 2023 since this was deleted. I can't judge the current status.

I can give 5 stars for everything here with confidence. Very nice atmosphere. The food was very good, as was the service and the staff. There was enough parking space. Very clean toilets. Price/performance ratio is completely fine.

We spontaneously went to this steakhouse for dinner yesterday. The outdoor spaces are really attractive. After we sat down, the cutlery and the card arrived promptly. First we wanted to see what there was to drink. The selection is, to put it bluntly, tiny. It ended up being a bottle of water and a Coke Zero for my husband. The drinks were brought quickly and we were immediately asked if we knew what we wanted to eat. We still needed a moment there too. At that point, two different people were already serving us. Then we waited and waited. A family sat down next to us and was actually able to order food earlier than us. Well, we have placed our order. The starter consisted of a mixed salad and for my husband beef carpaccio, mozzarella and rocket. My husband asked if the tomatoes could be left out and that was no problem. The appetizer came and my salad was solid. My husband's appetizer cost 14.90, there were two mini slices of beef a bunch. Arugula and three thick slices of cheap mozzarella. A disgrace for the price. The main courses arrived. A grill plate without tzatziki and my Bombay turkey. This was supposed to be a curry that wasn't made with coconut milk but with cream. The rice was swimming in butter. The end of the song was we were disappointed, we left very quickly and won't be coming back. In total we had three people serving. Conclusion: the quality wasn't good enough for us for a steakhouse.

Hello, we haven't eaten here for a long time and wanted to visit here again. We used to always be happy. Unfortunately the food this time was not enough. The meat was fried very dry. In addition, the restaurant is in poor condition. The carpet in the winter garden looks very unappetizing, the painted picture on the wall is unsightly due to broken plaster. Unfortunately, after a while they forgot about us and we were only able to order drinks again if we asked ourselves. Therefore, the restaurant is currently not recommended compared to others in Dorsten.

I wanted to go out to eat with my new wife... But when my wife ordered, I saw that she seemed to be letting herself go too... nevertheless, despite the food and the staff, it was very good! Hello, I've actually always been whole satisfied with you. The view of the lake always made up for it. But you're slowly making yourself unpopular and not just with me! How can it be that you are currently charging 2 euros more for menus on the bill than what is on the menu??!! And it's not uncommon for the service to forget something and then blame it on someone else! You should all know better. Your question about cash or card payment before ordering is borderline. You're already making yourself suspicious. You have very good competitors who are easy to avoid!!! Addendum: There were no special requests, so this is not a reason for the additional costs, and nothing was communicated. Both dishes were 2 euros more expensive than stated. You should probably do the work of comparing your cash register and the menus yourself. I only noticed the difference later. What's interesting, however, is that you don't find criticism of your service as bad as criticism of the quality of your products. By the way, I didn't assume anything and if you think that I don't like "The Dorstener", which for me doesn't exist as a homogeneous mass (which is not true at all), that seems to be an excuse for you, but that doesn't change your mistakes at all nothing. I'm not acting for a competitor here either!

Good day. I agree with the people with the grappa story. Also sat at the same table. For presenting the review as a lie, you only get one star even though the food was good. There was definitely no price mentioned. I don't know if you're the waiter with the beard or someone else. It's a real shame that you damage your reputation with things like this. I paid the bill of almost 300 euros and a 10 euro tip for their people without any problems. But apparently positive criticism at the table is a no-go for them. Wish you a nice day.

Wir haben zum ersten Mal das Restaurant besucht. Essen war gut, sowie der Service. Wir haben schnell die Getränke und unser Essen bekommen. Das was wir nicht in Ordnung fanden, war dass der Kellner nach dem Essen mit einer Flasche Grappa kam und uns fragte ob wir einen möchten. Ehrlich gesagt dachten wir er ginge aufs Haus, als Digestif nach dem Essen. Dass der Grappa 11 EUR pro Glas kostet hat der Herr vergessen es uns zu sagen. Da wir später noch mehr bestellten ohne zu ahnen zu welchem Preis, hatten wir am Ende fast 45 EUR für 4 Grappas bezahlt. Wir finden dass so was einen komischen Nachgeschmack hat. Das haben wir natürlich dem Kellner vor Ort mitgeteilt. Aber ich weiß nicht ob es was gebracht hat. Ohne diesen Zwischenfall hätten wir einen Stern mehr gegeben!

Mein spontaner Besuch in diesem Restaurant war wirklich ein Volltreffer! Das Essen war hervorragend - das Steak war frisch zubereitet und einfach köstlich. Die Qualität des Fleisches hat mich wirklich beeindruckt. Die Kellnerin, die uns bediente, war äußerst aufmerksam und freundlich. Sie konnte mir nicht nur bei der Auswahl des Steaks helfen, sondern auch Empfehlungen für Beilagen und Saucen geben, die perfekt dazu passten. Die angenehme Atmosphäre im Restaurant rundete das Erlebnis ab. Es war definitiv eine großartige Entscheidung, hier einzukehren, und ich werde sicherlich wiederkommen. Wenn Sie auf der Suche nach einem erstklassigen Steak und exzellentem Service sind, kann ich dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Leider kann ich nach unserem heutigen Besuch in diesem Restaurant nicht mehr Sterne vergeben. Das Ambiente und der Service waren gut, aber das Essen war leider unterirdisch. Eine absolute Frechheit so ein Essen zu servieren. Nie wieder. Und wie jedes Jahr an Weihnachten geht keine Kartenzahlung. Ein Schelm der böses dabei denkt.

Wir waren vor einer Stunde dort essen.Die Suppe war lecker....vom Hauptgericht (Steakteller) waren ausser den Steaks, die Beilagen (Bratkartoffeln und Brokoli) ungeniessbar. Die Qualität der Gerichte hat sehr nachgelassen. Auf Ihre Antwort möchte ich mich wie folgt äussern 1. Ich hatte das gleiche Gericht wie meine Freundin, die sich auch über die Bratkartoffeln beschwert hat und der Sie ein komplett neues Gerichthingestellt haben. Beim zweiten Gericht waren die Steaks anstatt medium...english.Aus diesem Grund hat sie dieses Gericht nicht bezahlen brauchen. Auf meine Beschwerde über Bratkartoffeln und Brocoli wurde nicht reagiert.

Wir waren auf heilig Abend Mittags vor Ort. Leider sind die Speisen nicht mehr ganz so qualitativ hochwertig wie es früher ein Mal war. Mein Menü bestand aus Spargelspitzen mit Schweinefilet und einer Soße. Ich hatte nur End/Mittelstücke vom Spargel und nicht eine einzige Spargelspitze. Die Soße war völligst mit Muskatnuss überwürzt, so dass ich das Fleisch nur aus Respekt zum Tier gegessen habe. Die Kroketten und der Rest waren auf Grund der Soße einfach kaum genießbar. Wäre alles halb so wild, z,B das mit den Spargelspitzen, da ich Spargel auch so mag, allerdings bezahlt man hier für eine Qualität, die man nicht auf den Teller bekommt. Schade. Früher war es ein Highlight bei "El Tori" essen zu gehen. Die Bedienungen waren wie immer sehr freundlich und schnell.

Weihnachten 2023. 9 Personen. Es war alles toll. Der Service war sehr nett, freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war ebenfalls sehr gut. Wir werden erneut zum Essen kommen. Wünschen dem Haus El Tori Frohe Weihnachten.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich muss leider meine Unzufriedenheit bezüglich meiner Erfahrung mit Ihrem Gastronomiebetrieb ausdrücken. Nach unserem Besuch, der alles andere als zufriedenstellend war, wurde meine negative Bewertung auf Google platziert. Was mich jedoch ernsthaft beunruhigt, ist die Tatsache, dass der Inhaber offensichtlich versucht hat, die negativen Bewertungen zu entfernen. Dies ist ein äußerst fragwürdiges Vorgehen und lässt erhebliche Zweifel an der Transparenz und Ehrlichkeit des Unternehmens aufkommen. Die fehlende Bereitschaft, negative Bewertungen zu akzeptieren und stattdessen den Versuch unternimmt, diese zu entfernen, wirft ernsthafte Fragen hinsichtlich der Integrität des Betriebs auf. Es stellt sich die Frage, wie verlässlich und authentisch die verbleibenden Bewertungen sind, wenn versucht wird, einseitig das Bild zu beeinflussen. Ich erwarte von einem Unternehmen Ehrlichkeit und Offenheit im Umgang mit Kritik. Die aktuellen Vorkommnisse lassen jedoch Zweifel daran aufkommen, ob diese Werte in Ihrem Unternehmen einen hohen Stellenwert genießen. Es ist bedauerlich, dass meine Erfahrung mit Ihrem Unternehmen derart negativ ausfällt, und ich hoffe, dass Sie sich dieser Kritik konstruktiv stellen und Ihre Praktiken überdenken.

Waren heute das zweite Mal im El Tori und es war wieder einmal alles bestens! Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich ja sogar fast schon familiär. Die Speisen kamen heiß, frisch und schön angerichtet an unseren Tisch. Geschmacklich auf den Punkt! Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können das Restaurant nur Weiterempfehlen.

Eine schöne Location mit gutem Essen und bestem Service bei moderaten Preisen. Besonders im Sommer stelle ich mir vor, dass man im Wintergarten / Terrasse einen sehr schönen Ausblick auf den Blauen See hat. Die Weinauswahl könnte besser sein.

Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so gut Steak essen können wie dort. War im kurzem Abstand 2x da. Service top, Ambiente top und das Essen einfach Wahnsinn. Ging super schnell und war perfekt zubereitet. Gut zu erreichen, Parkplätze sind vorhanden.

Eure Speiskarte ist umfangreich, abwechslungsreich und das alles zu sehr fairen Preisen. Wer das Besondere mag, dem empfehlen wir das sterneverdächtige Rehfilet. Ein absoluter Genuß! Dazu der passende Rotwein. Perfekt. Aber auch alle anderen Speisen sind sehr, sehr schmackhaft und immer frisch zubereitet. Wir freuen uns schon heute auf unseren nächsten Besuch

Immer wieder sehr lecker und eine freundliche Bedienung . Ideal für perfekte Abende. Das Umfeld ist Kinderfreundlich und schön gelegen.

Wir haben dort 5 Gerichte bestellt und abgeholt. Leider war davon eins völlig falsch, der Aufwand aber zu groß, dieses wieder zurück zu bringen. Geschmacklich konnten die Essen wie bspw. Grillteller oder Schweinemedallions nicht überzeugen. Das Fleisch war überwiegend zäh, die Salatbeilage getränkt in Dressing. Daher kann ich keine Empfehlung für dieses Restaurant aussprechen.

Habe woanders Bedeutung besser gegessen Essen hat überhaupt nicht geschmeckt total versalzen und schwamm in Soße. Nicht zu empfehlen

Wir hatten zwei Vorspeisen und zweimal Hauptgang. Der Camembert war fertig Ware, aber OK. Das carpaccio war ganz gut. Der Grillteller insgesamt nur mittelmäßig, der Reis war wirklich Lecker das Fleisch war leider zu trocken und nicht gut gewürzt. Ich hatte das Zanderfilet, das kann ich wirklich empfehlen, gut gewürzt und die richtige Temperatur. Ich glaube das wir da wohl nicht mehr hingehen werden.

Ein italienisches Restaurant wie man es sich wünscht. Flotte Bedienungen, sehr gutes, mit frischen Zutaten bereitetes gute Speisen. Sehr zu empfehlen die Tagesmenüs. Meinerseits ein ganz klare Emofehlung für Dorsten.

Nach bereits über 3 Jahren Pause wegen schlechter Erfahrung waren wir zu zweit mal wieder in diesem Restaurant. Gleich bei der Bestellung der Getränke die Frage ob mit Karte oder bar gezahlt wird oder wir einen Gutschein hätten. Die Frage nach dem WLAN Passwort wurde beantwortet, das kenne nur der Chef. Auf unseren Hinweis, dass der Chef doch im Hause sei, wurde dann doch das Passwort mitgeteilt. Dann fragte meine Frau ob ein bestimmtes Gericht anstelle von Schwein auch mit Putenfleisch erhältlich sei. Gegen 4,-€ Aufpreis wäre das natürlich möglich war die Antwort!! Meine Frau ist dann auf ein anderes Gericht mit Putenfleisch gewechselt. Ich hatte mir ein Steak medium+ bestellt. Das Steak war max. medium und nicht medium+ gegrillt und musste noch einmal zurück. Bei dem Putengericht handelte es sich um ein frittiertes Stück Pute, nicht gegrillt und mit echt wenig Sosse. Die Frage nach ein wenig mehr Sosse wurde damit beantwortet, dass wir ja noch Extrasosse von der Karte dazubestellen könnten, wir aber nicht taten. Noch extra bezahlen für eine nicht selbst gemachte Tütensosse? Die Pfeffersauce zu meinem Steak war auch billigste Konvienience Ware. Wir mussten uns von der Bedienung und vom Chef übel beschimpfen lassen mit den Worten wir mögen das Lokal in Zukunft meiden, wären nicht mehr erwünscht! Das ist für uns überhaupt kein Problem, schade war es nur für die nachfolgend schlechte Stimmung an dem Abend! Wieder ein Restaurant zum Thema "Servicewüste" ich kann nur abraten...

Auf unseren Hinweis, dass der Chef doch im Hause sei, wurde dann doch das Passwort mitgeteilt. Dann fragte meine Frau ob ein bestimmtes Gericht anstelle von Schwein auch mit Putenfleisch erhältlich sei. Gegen 4,-€ Aufpreis wäre das natürlich möglich war die Antwort!! Meine Frau ist dann auf ein anderes Gericht mit Putenfleisch gewechselt. Ich hatte mir ein Steak medium+ bestellt. Das Steak war max. medium und nicht medium+ gegrillt und musste noch einmal zurück. Bei dem Putengericht handelte es sich um ein frittiertes Stück Pute, nicht gegrillt und mit echt wenig Sosse. Die Frage nach ein wenig mehr Sosse wurde damit beantwortet, dass wir ja noch Extrasosse von der Karte dazubestellen könnte, wir aber nicht taten. Noch extra bezahlen für eine nicht selbst gemachte Tütensosse? Die Pfeffersauce zu meinem Steak war auch billigste Konvienience Ware. Wir mussten uns von der Bedienung und vom Chef übel beschimpfen lassen mit den Worten wir mögen das Lokal in Zukunft meiden, wären nicht mehr erwünscht! Das ist für uns überhaupt kein Problem, schade war es nur für die nachfolgend schlechte Stimmung an dem Abend! Wieder ein Restaurant zum Thema "Servicewüste" ich kann nur abraten...

Waren heute zum Abendessen dort. Essen war gut. Ich hatte die Nr86 Steak mit scharfer Peperonisoße. Service war gut und freundlich. Ambiente im Wintergarten etwas kühl.

Wir haben aus Zufall dieses Restaurant entdeckt, von außen Recht unscheinbar. Der Service 1, jeder Sonderwunsch wird beachtet. Das Essen 1+++ super super lecker, die Steaks sehr zart, tolle Qualität, große Auswahl, einfach top! Wir waren bisher 2x dort, die Wartezeit war mit 10-15 Minuten sehr kurz. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist hervorragend! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!!

Wunderschönes, ruhiges, großes, trotzdem sehr gemütliches Restaurant. Sehr stilvoll eingerichtetes Ambiente. Die kleinen Nischen, die durch gemauerte Steine bogenförmig abgegrenzt werden, sorgen trotz der Größe des Restaurants für eine ruhige und behütete Athmosphäre. Das Essen war nicht nur extrem lecker, sondern auch optisch mindestens genauso ansprechend. Alles perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt und nicht zu extravagant. Die Portionen sind überdurchschnittlich groß, wobei auch Gerichte für den kleinen Hunger vorhanden sind. Die Karte ist sehr vielfältig. Wärmstens weiterempfehlen kann ich das "Hüftsteak" mit "Potato wedges" und die "Dessert Variation".
