Wir waren wieder einmal mit unseren erwachsenen Kindern und 2 Enkeln im El Rancho, wie seit vielen Jahren. Jetzt zum zweiten Mal beim neuen Inhaber mit neuen Mitarbeitern. Die Qualität der Speisen ist nach wie vor auf sehr hohem Niveau. Die Mitarbeiter sind nicht unfreundlich aber bei weitem nicht so ( kinder-) freundlich wie die früheren Mitarbeiter. Das Zahlen mit AMEX ist erstmals seit 30 Jahren nicht mehr möglich.

On the menu it says lumberjack steak from pork steak... Sorry guys, a lumberjack steak is cut from the shoulder. And I wouldn't know that the pork shoulder is a steak piece... But if you don't know, you'll pay a lot for it a lot of money... 😕 Enjoy your meal anyway...

We ate there based on a recommendation. Great restaurant, really good food and cozy atmosphere. We were served by a pretty, nice young lady with long brown hair who was very attentive and kept an eye on everything. We felt very comfortable with her and we would love to come back!

It's actually considered the worst steak restaurant. After my first visit, however, it was more like “approved”. The first drink order went wrong and the food had the wrong accompaniment. The steak was well done instead of medium and then we waited for 3/4 hours in front of an empty glass. Then we paid and left. At over 90 euros for 2 meals and 2 drinks, I would have expected much more. A pity

We ate there based on a recommendation. It was super friendly service from everyone. The drinks and food came quickly and were incredibly tasty. The atmosphere is very cozy and divided into smaller areas, which makes the whole thing even more relaxed.

The whole place seems very old-fashioned, the communication with the service staff was very bad, the lady in service seemed confused. The meat was stringy, 1/4 of it went back to the kitchen. The dessert was horrible, spray cream from a can, way too sweet, the ice cream was old and from a bulk package and the kitchen doesn't seem to be able to distinguish pistachios from raisins. All in all, an absolute failure. No recommendation.

Sat on the terrace in the beautiful sunshine. I ordered a steak with fried potatoes and broken bones with bacon. Absolutely delicious.

Very good food from the charcoal grill. Several salads to choose from. The steak was awesome. Gril feeling outside and inside fine pink. The fried potatoes were a poem. That's the way it has to be. I can only recommend. Cozy, rustic atmosphere and the Siegen upper town

My culinary journey from Cologne to Siegen to the El Rancho Steakhouse was a revelation for the senses. The cold starters such as the tender carpaccio with parmesan shavings and rocket, the fresh house-pickled salmon on crispy toast and the exquisite shrimp cocktail prepared the palate perfectly for the main course. Of the warm starters, the black tiger prawns in cream herb sauce and the snails in mushroom heads were particularly impressive. The highlight, however, was the steaks. The fillet steak was buttery soft, the rump steak was fried perfectly medium, and the entrecôte was a dream. The homemade herb butter and side dishes such as rosemary potatoes and country fries with sour cream rounded off every dish. The El Rancho house specialties, particularly the Angus fillet with chanterelle mushrooms and béarnaise sauce, were a feast for the palate. The drive here from Cologne was worth every kilometer. I can't wait to come back and discover more delights!

I even drive from Frankfurt to Siegen for the El Rancho steakhouse. Excellent food, excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. I feel very comfortable in El Rancho and always enjoy coming back here.

My Italian guest and I had the pleasure of enjoying the Mix Grill Platter at Steakhouse El Rancho and it was a true feast for our taste buds! The quality of the grilled meat was exceptional, I was particularly impressed by how perfectly cooked my steak was - juicy, tender and full of flavour. The selection of different meats was generous and each one exceeded our expectations. Our meal was accompanied by a delicious Aperol Spritz, which was perfectly mixed and made the evening even more enjoyable. The atmosphere at Steakhouse El Rancho was welcoming and the staff was extremely accommodating. This experience was a real highlight and I can't wait to return to try more of this outstanding cuisine

Very tasty food! My first choice when it comes to steak in the Siegen area.

El Rancho Steakhouse is phenomenal! Recently I had the pleasure of dining there with 10 work colleagues and it was an absolutely flawless experience. The boss and his team performed exceptionally well. Despite our large group, we received a warm welcome and the food came to the table on time and without any problems. The steaks were perfectly cooked and of the highest quality, and the sides were delicious. What particularly impressed me was the boss's attention to every detail. He personally made sure our orders were prepared exactly to our liking. The entire team was extremely professional and courteous. This experience gave us all an unforgettable evening and we will definitely be back! A big compliment to the boss and the entire team at the El Rancho steakhouse for their excellent work!

After the owner changed, once and NEVER AGAIN!!!!! I'm super disappointed! My daughter and I have these Ordered Black Tiger Shrimp, according to the menu, with garlic sauce. The service person came back to our table and asked if we would like the shrimp with sauce????? Yes, of course! Just like it says on the map. We were served five naked, WITHOUT sauce, shrimp grilled to death! A shame for such wonderful seafood! When I asked where the sauce was, the answer I got was: We only serve this dish without sauce. What?? Firstly, this dish with garlic sauce is on the menu and secondly, he asked us! Chanterelles were advertised in my shrimp dish, but like the rest of the meal, I was impressed. very happy. They were chanterelles from a jar - watery, mushy, disgusting. The supplement was missing! My daughter got a bowl of fries and I got a large piece of baguette that was completely charred. You could have killed someone with this piece! I was at a loss for words. The El Rancho, which I know from the former owners, no longer exists. So much money for the worst meal ever. NEVER AGAIN!

Went to El Rancho for the first time. We have never eaten such a delicious steak and were completely satisfied. Unfortunately, the salad was too cold and the salad dressings could use more seasoning, but it was also ok. We'll definitely be back

Everything was right here. Friendly welcome, good atmosphere and an extensive menu. We had entrecote medium rare with corn on the cob and rump steak medium with baked potatoes. In our opinion, the two steaks were on the flame just a little too long, but still very good. The corn on the cob is fantastic and the sour cream with the potato is fresh, tasty and fortunately not contaminated with garlic. Sauvignon Blanc is fruity with little acid and the Amarula dessert is a real temptation. Reservations are recommended on Friday evenings.

Ende Dezember 2023 habe ich einen Tisch für Mitte Januar 24 für 15 Personen reserviert. Am besagten Tag habe ich mittags nochmal angerufen, um sicher zu gehen, dass alles passt. Gut das ich angerufen haben, sonst hätten wir da gestanden ohne Tisch … Geht garnicht sowas, vor allem, wenn man noch nach seiner Nummer gefragt wurde, geht man davon aus, dass das auch alles klappt. Zum Glück haben wir in einem anderen schönen Restaurant noch spontan einen Tisch bekommen.

Die Steaks sind echt ein Traum. Service top. Vielen Dank das so ein tolles Restaurant in Siegen existiert.

Super Restaurant, klasse Service, richtig gutes Essen! Das Ambiente ist gefühlt etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Tische stehen relativ nah beieinander. Dafür habe ich aber Verständnis, da auch die Gastronomen effizient und kostensparend arbeiten müssen. Dafür sind die Preise aber auch wirklich fair. Gerne wieder.

Das beste Filetsteak was ich bis jetzt gegessen habe. Leider war ein kleines Stück Fleisch komplett roh. Bratkartoffeln waren kalt. Bier hat leider überhauptnicht geschmeckt. Personal sehr aufmerksam und nett. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dort essen

Es war mega lecker,und gar nicht so teuer. Die Bedienungen dort sehr höflich. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend dort. LG 😀

Die Reservierung funktionierte einwandfrei, der Tisch stand zur Verfügung. Die Karte wurde schnell gebracht und die Getränkebestellung aufgenommen. Auch die Aufnahme der Speisenbestellung ging recht zügig. Zu meinem Essen gehörte ein Salat vom Buffet. Dieses war ausreichend mit frischen Salaten bestückt. Dazu wurden verschiedene Dressings geboten. Hier sollte eigentlich jeder etwas finden, man kann sich auch mehrfach etwas nehmen. Lediglich die scharfe Sauce mit Peperoni schmeckte etwas muffig, vermutlich handelte es sich um altes Öl. Die Speisen wurden in angemessener Zeit an den Tisch gebracht und wieder mitgenommen. Dann wurden sie noch einmal gebracht und noch einmal wieder mitgenommen. Offensichtlich wusste die junge Bedienung nicht, was sie da auf dem Teller hatte und musste sich zunächst noch einmal in der Küche erkundigen. Das Fleisch war hervorragend und von drei Steaks wurden zwei wie gewünscht auf den Punkt gebraten, ein Steak war eher medium rare obwohl es medium bestellt wurde. Wir haben darauf verzichtet es noch einmal durch das Restaurant tragen zu lassen um es nachzugaren. Zu meinem Steak habe ich mir die Argentinersauce bestellt. Was da für eine Mischung war, kann ich nicht sagen. Eine glibberige, künstlich schmeckende Pampe mit Pfefferkörnern und gelber Paprika darin. Die schmeckte nicht, sah ekelig aus und war nicht scharf. Dennoch wurden dafür 4,40 Euro verlangt. Warum dieses das beste Restaurant in Siegen sein soll, erschließt sich mir nicht.

Wir waren mit insgesamt 10 Personen am Tisch. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell. Das Essen hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt und wurde uns gleichzeitig gebracht. Man muss sogar sagen, das gerade das Fleisch hervorragend war. Das Ambiente ist auch schön gewesen. Wir haben jeweils als Paar ca. 80 Euro bezahlt aber es hat sich definitiv gelohnt und wird nicht unser letzter Besuch gewesen sein. Da nimmt man gerne die 40 Minuten Fahrt ihn Kauf. Meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau... Wir wissen nicht ob es dort Nachspeisen gibt weil die uns nicht angeboten wurden.

Wie immer Top, seit über 30 Jahren Stammgast. Der Mexikanische Feuertopf ist sehr zu empfehlen. 🥩

3 Sterne für die nette Bedienung und das qualitativ eigentlich gute Fleisch. Leider ansonsten eine Enttäuschung und wir verstehen die guten Bewertungen nicht. Salatbuffet ist enttäuschend und lieblos, die Soßen schmecken nicht. Fleischqualität war gut, leider kommt alles vom Holzkohlegrill und schmeckt entsprechend, das muss man halt mögen. Da es die Kategorie "Vom Holzkohlegrill" nochmal extra gibt, hatte ich das nicht erwartet. Leider kam das Fleisch im ersten Versuch auch eher rare als medium, daher konnte mein Mann dann schon 5 Minuten vor mir essen. Immerhin wurde es angeschnitten gezeigt und gefragt, ob der Gargrad so ok ist - vmtl weil es eben noch nicht richtig medium war und dann noch etwas weiter gegart. Das Gemüse war nicht durch, Brokkoli + Spargel dadurch nicht essbar. Die Sauce Hollandaise viel zu sauer. Im Mais waren mehrere Zentimeter große Stücke fettige Speckstücke. Alles in allem leider sehr enttäuschend, der erste und letzte Besucht in dem optisch leicht altbacken wirkenden Restaurant.

Ganz tolles Steakhaus. Wir waren zu zweit am 2.Weihnachtstag dort und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Steak punktgenau gebraten.Das Restaurant hat ein gemütliches Ambiente und ein sehr freundliches Personal. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist okay.Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden.Da das Restaurant immer gut besucht ist sollte man sich einen Tisch reservieren.

Essen sehr gut wie immer. Mehrmals im Jahr gehen wir dort Essen.Wir haben bisher auch immer nach der Rechnung noch einen kleine „Absacker“ bekommen… Heute nun nicht mehr. Scheinbar war unsere Rechnung von fast EUR 180,00 noch nicht hoch genug 😒

Seit Jahren auf einem hohen Level und eine sichere Bank. Die Qualität der Gerichte/Steaks, der aufmerksame Service sowie das Ambiente sind einfach perfekt. Schade dass zum Jahreswechsel ein Besitzerwechsel stattfindet. Wir hoffen dass das Level gehalten werden kann.

Der Service war zuvorkommend aber nicht aufdringlich. Der Koch versteht sein Handwerk perfekt. Ich hatte Black Tiger Garnelen die der Wahnsinn waren. Mein Sohn ein Filetsteak, das auf den Punkt gebraten war. Bestes Steakhaus in Siegen. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

La noche ya empezó torcida al llegar al restaurante, teníamos mesa a las 7.30 h y llegamos a las 7.50 h por problemas por aparcar y localizar el lugar. Sin ni siquiera llamarnos para confirmar o cancelar la reserva nos quitaron la mesa y al llegar nos dicen que no tenemos mesa que si queremos tendríamos que comer en la terraza, lo cual aceptamos por no tener a donde ir. De la comida he de decir que la carne es muy pero muy mejorable la profesionalidad del servicio y los acompañamientos. Pedimos solomillo para toda la mesa (6 comensales), superbien preparado y con los puntos de cocción perfectamente diferenciados y preparados. Lo peor de la experiencia los acompañamientos, pedimos muchos y variados, patatas fritas (parecían congeladas), verduras a la planta (solo coliflor y brócoli), patatas al horno (muy grasientas)... en resumen que no nos convenció ninguno. El servicio también debe mejorar, solo mencionar el detalle de la bebida... nos decantamos por un vino y pedimos una botella para toda la mesa, el camarero nos dijo que no sabía como cobrar una botella a mesa completa y que tenía que servirnos por copas, lo cual nos pareció increíble pero decidimos aceptar por no discutir. El vino llegó servido en unas pequeñas jarras por lo que no pudimos de ver si realmente se correspondía con el vino pedido, que además se sirvió muy caliente.

Heute ein Entrecote bestellt. Hat hervorragend geschmeckt und war auf den Punkt gegrillt. Personal sehr freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich. Jederzeit wieder.

Tisch bestellt, in die letzte Ecke gesetzt worden, sehr unfreundlich. Essen: Filetsteak top ,Rumpsteak ungenießbar dicke Sehne, konnte man nicht kauen. Teller: Gemüse geschmacklos nur gegart rollten es auf dem Teller. Kroketten wahrscheinlich billigstes Produkt und total trocken. Pfifferlinge aus der Dose, grau und gummiartig Sauce Bernaise auf dem Fleisch total trocken und kein Geschmack nach Estragon. Dafür sehr viel Geld bezahlt, das war es nicht wert. Also nie wieder

Steaks wie sie sein sollen. Gegrillt wie bestellt und sehr gute Qualität. Dazu freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Alle Fleischgerichte waren sehr gut zubereitet, die Tomatensuppe leider nicht empfehlenswert und die Salatsaucen für solch ein "besseres" Restaurant ein No-Go (war leider schon vor 30 Jahren so),

Ich war zusammen mit einer Freundin an einem Sonntagmittag hier zum Steakessen verabredet. Die Preise sind durchaus höher, aber nachdem ich mich für die Grillplatte entschieden hatte und diese etwas später bekam war der Preis meiner Meinung nach gerechtfertigt. Die Qualität des Fleisches, speziell des Rumpsteaks war sehr gut. Tatsächlich war auch die Menge an Fleisch für mich gut ausreichend - und ich bin ein guter Esser. Wenn man hingegen sich selbst ein Menü mit Steak (Filet, Rump, Hüft) zusammenstellt, finde ich 5€ für ein Schüsselchen Pommes als Beilage schon deftig. Der Service war stets freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir würden noch einmal hier einkehren.

Endlich wieder ElRancho genießen! Nach 7 Monaten „ohne“ war es wunderbar, endlich wieder hier zu sein. Danke an das Team! Es hat sich nichts verändert. Perfekte Steaks treffen auf unaufdringliche Gastfreundschaft. TOP!!!

Been here in early evening, the restaurant was already almost full, the meat it is really good and cooked almost perfectly; my rating should be a 4.5, the meat it is definetly a 5, the same goes for the atmosphere, but the side doshes and the service kinda miss something amd makw everything less enjoyable, still a really good restaurant
