My "Spandau delicacies" were a complete disaster. Everything on the plate looked like it had been deep-fried 👎. Freshly prepared, it probably would have been fine. My husband had the beef roulade, which was okay. The service wasn't particularly friendly.

My visit to this restaurant was unfortunately an extremely bad experience. The server seemed unfriendly and unhelpful from the very beginning. When I didn't leave a tip, I strongly sensed his dissatisfaction became even more apparent – ​​and he made that perfectly clear. His demeanor was disrespectful, cold, and overall very unpleasant. This is not what one expects from professional service, especially not in the restaurant industry. I felt uncomfortable throughout my entire visit. One thing is certain: After this experience, I will definitely never set foot in this restaurant again.

Unfortunately, breakfast isn't what it used to be. It consists of half a slice of cooked ham (the package costs €1.79 at Kaufland), one slice of the cheapest salami, one slice of ham, cheese, and lots of vegetables. I have to say, compared to before, meaning throughout the year, I'm very disappointed. It used to be so much better. What a shame.

I was really disappointed with the "Spandauer Kleinigkeiten". The three little meatballs and schnitzel were deep fried way too long or likely refried from lunch. I shared my disappointment with our waiter and he only shrugged it off as "well it is just a small plate". I am sure I would not trust them with a plate that cost more than €30 if they can't get a simple "local plate" together. CLEARLY NO GERMAN IN THE KITCHEN! Just a tourist trap....stay away!

We had already been to this restaurant three weeks ago and wanted to give it another try because the food was good. Unfortunately, we were disappointed again. Three weeks ago, the service was abysmal. A cocktail offered on the menu was unavailable. It took a full fifteen minutes to get information about this. It wasn't that the staff were overworked; they were simply overwhelmed or simply uninterested. Card payment wasn't possible either, as the reader wasn't working. Perhaps the owner should just pay his phone bill to make sure there's an internet connection. The food itself was good and plentiful, and again today. There's nothing to complain about. Today, we were given a menu immediately after being seated. It wasn't handed to us, but rather carelessly thrown onto the table by the staff. Immediately afterward (after about a minute), we were asked what we wanted to drink. We didn't have time to examine the drinks menu in more detail. Two minutes after we finally ordered, another employee came over to take our order. So far, so good (or not so good). For dessert with dinner today, we ordered a cappuccino (sacrilege, I know) and warm apple strudel. Well, what can I write? We got the cappuccino immediately after ordering. But where was the apple strudel? Well, it came, no lie, five minutes later. Immediately after the cappuccino arrived, I complained that we were supposed to have the cappuccino with the apple strudel. The staff, however, didn't even begin to acknowledge this. The cappuccino remained on our table until the actual dessert arrived. To top it all off, we ordered grappa and Linie Aquavit (since I had already had a negative experience with it three weeks ago) in an iced glass. My companion laughed after the staff left and told me I would now get Linie Aquavit with ice. No, that wasn't the case. But the glass was neither iced nor did the aquavit come from the freezer; it was simply from the refrigerator. Luckily, the disoriented staff got my comeuppance in the form of a reduced tip. However, that can't be the owner's goal. In this day and age, where every restaurant is fighting for survival, the staff are the be-all and end-all of any restaurant. Unfortunately, I will neither visit this restaurant again nor positively recommend it to anyone.

We ordered two desserts and had to wait about 45-60 minutes! I wanted pancakes with hot raspberries, which they didn't have at first, and after I ate half of them, raspberries suddenly became available! My husband and son were at a concert at the Citadel, so I was looking for a nice place to wait (as a woman alone) and came across this very well-kept and lovingly run restaurant. Very friendly and attentive service, great Aperol, and good wine. The tagliatelle with chanterelle mushrooms and fillet tips: delicious! A candle for me, even as a single guest—wonderful! Unfortunately, each time we had to witness the man in the blue shirt (presumably the boss) speaking very loudly and disrespectfully to his staff. There was a lot of shouting. Once, we were served cheese that was spoiled, and the ham also didn't seem fresh – very disappointing. In the evening, the atmosphere was somewhat more pleasant, as the restaurant's waiters were always very friendly to us. It's a shame that they are treated so unfairly, even though they're the ones who bring in the money. With behavior like that, he doesn't deserve any customers. We will never visit this restaurant again.

It started to rain, and we weren't invited in because we were sitting under an umbrella. Other tables were cleared. The response was curt and snappy: schnapps or espresso. We politely declined and paid without tipping. Then there was no more communication, just dirty looks. Disappointing. NEVER AGAIN!!!

A small Italian restaurant right in the old town of Spandau. Our food was generous, fresh, and seasonal. Dessert, a Kaiserschmarrn (sweet pancake), was freshly prepared with almonds and raisins. All in all, a very delicious meal at a great Italian restaurant.

The look is nice, but some of the service staff are totally arrogant and inattentive. I first visited the restaurant in 2021, and it was really great, but now the quality is absolutely terrible. Canned vegetables, fried schnitzel, everything is absolutely greasy, even the olives are disgusting. I realize that everything is getting more expensive and that's why they have to cut costs in various places, but this? That's absolutely disgusting. And the steak is also completely lacking in quality these days; the restaurant is only good for drinks at best, until they want to cut money there too.

We were very disappointed. We were looking forward to a nice meal, but unfortunately it wasn't as tasty as some of the descriptions suggest. My girlfriend ordered asparagus with butter and schnitzel, but unfortunately it came with hollandaise sauce. I had Wiener schnitzel with fried potatoes, which unfortunately had a very rancid taste, and the veal schnitzel was so flat that the unseasoned breading was thicker than the schnitzel. I only ate a little and thought I might eat it at home with the salad, but unfortunately it wasn't wrapped up as requested. The service wasn't that friendly either, more annoyed. It's a real shame, we were really looking forward to seeing you after reading the reviews.

Both the chef and the waiters are always friendly and accommodating. Even after the first visit, you can tell that the chefs know their craft. The value for money is also top-notch. See for yourself and don't be fooled by some of the reviews here. If there's one thing Berliners are good at, it's complaining.

I haven't experienced such bad service in a long time. Table reserved for Mother's Day brunch for 7 people. We first waited half an hour until we received the menus and were asked for drinks. At the same time we also ordered food and then had to wait almost another hour for the food. That doesn't work at all! Table ordered at 10:30 and received food at 11:45. We had the feeling of being completely ignored and had to keep asking if someone could come.

At 9:30 p.m. another waiter very rudely threw the bill for our two wines on the table and slowly made it dark. We were the last guests at 9:45 p.m. and were treated accordingly. We were no longer wanted. We then left our wine. When we left the restaurant, I emphasized that we had left our wine so that we could call it a day. The waiter thanked me and I said that we definitely wouldn't come back again. The rude waiter just laughed. There is no more direct way to show a guest that they are unwanted. The two of us left almost €100 there and a lot of money and then we were thrown out even though there was still 1.5 hours of opening time. You can see which restaurants value guests and which don't. It wouldn't have taken us forever. We would definitely have been done in 10 minutes anyway. We certainly won't come back, even though we were always satisfied before and most of the waiters are nice, but I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. The restaurant owner probably won't care what the guests write because he doesn't need us, but I think everyone should know that.

Terrible service. Although they accept card, they insisted on cash. We insisted on paying by card, however the receiver strangely didn’t accept card, when we requested to try with a different card, the waiter refused and demanded cash. We never received a real invoice, just a piece of paper with the prices, can’t help but wonder if there’s tax evasion after looking at the other reviews. The actual service itself was also pretty lacking but whatever. Food was on the lower quality, as well as quite bland for one of the dishes.

The place closes at 10 p.m., the staff starts cleaning up 15 minutes before, and they're not particularly friendly.
