We found this place thanks to the good online reviews. The lunch was too spicy, and the soup was also way too spicy. The supposed dessert consisted of cream and caramel sauce.

We discovered the restaurant by chance. Since the menu was good, we went in. Unfortunately, the soup consisted only of water and Maggi. The schnitzel was far too spicy. The dessert at lunch was just whipped cream. The prices were far too high! We only received a receipt after a 10-minute discussion. It seemed as if we weren't allowed to see it.

We had dinner there yesterday. The steak was great. But: service is zero. No question about dessert. The service was dissatisfied and the guest noticed this. The money has to be carried there. Nobody comes to collect. Service is somehow different

On the way home we stop off in Peine. Just happened to pass the restaurant. Map ok, lunch fine, so go in. There was a beef broth beforehand. A lot of deposits, unfortunately also too much Maggi. Then came turkey and pork steak. Unfortunately, both with a marinade that consisted of 100% pepper. So spicy it was inedible. Dessert was a bit of caramel syrup with a huge dollop of whipped cream on top. It had something of a comic about it. The receipt was only given after discussions. Customer should simply believe the price quoted.

The food is great, especially the rump steak and beef fillet is always great and on point, but unfortunately there is no dessert other than ice cream. Service is always super nice. The ambience was a bit old and there were few seats but we still always found a place.

We ordered food to pick up. Among other things, we ordered turkey with mushrooms twice. Unfortunately, we missed the mushrooms. The mushrooms were forgotten in both dishes. Unfortunately not justified for the price. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time this happened. Things had already been forgotten on previous orders. It would be very nice if this didn't happen again in the future. Otherwise the food is always very tasty. The food on site is top. The food to pick up was a bit of a flop.

We were there at lunchtime. Lunch with starter and dessert. Everything was very tasty and inexpensive. Steaks are decent and reasonably priced.

I paid with a card. After placing the card on the card, the message normally shows that payment is not possible. Use the card slot. This didn't do it and aborted. When asked, I paid with a card slot. A short time later the waiter came with a receipt. Payment could not be made. I made the payment again and the card was accepted again. The waiter sent the boss over to me, I showed him my cell phone in which I saw the two payments and said that he didn't accept them. I should bring a receipt from the bank with which I can prove that it was paid twice and then I would get my money back. The bank didn't understand it and sent me forms where I had to declare under oath that the terminal had debited the amount twice. I'll try to get the money when I move out, but one thing is certain: the store won't see me again.

The lunch menu consisted of a noodle soup, main course and pudding for dessert. Unfortunately I didn't find it particularly special. The noodles were undercooked, almost mushy. The fries are almost unseasoned, not crispy and with Steak Hawaii a slice of sliced ​​cheese - lean! The service staff also left a lot to be desired: friendliness - well, they hardly came to the table to reorder. I can't recommend the restaurant, I didn't like it.

They also have the best baked potato (or the cream that goes with it). And above all, the sauce that is served with the meal is simply great! The high-quality seating (leather) means you can stay in one place for a long time. The ambience is balanced and matches the quality of the food and the service that the staff deliver every day. The toilets are mostly clean, but unfortunately they don't look as nice as the guest room. Crystal clear recommendation!

Bad service. We made a reservation with friends, 5 people with a dog. No problem, they said on the phone. Then there was the disillusionment: dogs were forbidden. Only small dogs are allowed. Reason: Large dogs bother allergy sufferers. It's a mystery to me since when size became a deciding factor, but this definitely should have been mentioned when making the reservation with the mention of "dog" and not just when the guests were standing in the restaurant. We then had an excellent meal elsewhere on the market square with our medium-sized, absolutely calm dog. About ARGENTINA: Never again, not even without a dog, because if this service doesn't work, I don't want to know what the food is like.

Food was okay. Everything looked a lot like frozen meat, but the quality of the meat was good (nicely tender, but the “English steak” was a bit lacking in juice). The chef was a little amorous (a little too much salt for my taste). The staff was friendly, but very busy with everything, so there were a few waiting times. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the ambience was good.

During my last two visits, I noticed that the steakburgers have a completely different taste, that the meat no longer tastes fresh and that the fries are very soft on the plate, no longer crispy and extremely salty! I really regret that because this was my favorite steakhouse for over 20 years and I always ate incredibly well here with friends. For me the quality has deteriorated extremely here - unfortunately!

Unfortunately I cannot recommend it. As a starter we had baguette with garlic dip, which was unfortunately a disappointment. Baguette was small but warm and O.K. The garlic dip was poor finished product. Knorr garlic sauce or something. The main meal was nothing either. The rice was soggy and the red sauce wasn't great either. Unfortunately the fries that came with it were very greasy. The atmosphere is more like the 80s with festival lighting without background music. Not for us, unfortunately.

Das Ambiente ist wirklich super. Leider war wiederholt die Fleischqualität nicht so überragend. Wir waren auch ur noch eiifort, weil ja jeder eine 2. Chance verdient hat. Die Beilagen waren sehr gut. Aber leider waren unsere Steaks nicht so super... Wenn man selbst zu Haus bessere Steaks brät, braucht man nicht essen gehen. Schade.

Das Essen ist super lecker und super frisch!!! Man musste nicht lange warten und es war auf den Punkt gegrillt ! Das Personal könnte etwas freundlicher sein und professioneller auftreten ( Haare vernünftig machen, evtl eine Schürze tragen ) . Aber im großen und ganzen echt gut .Gerne wieder !
