Very tasty, but the fries were way too salty, and the steak was very expensive. Especially since you have to order your potatoes and vegetables separately, at almost €6 per side. The schnitzel and mixed grill were reasonably priced. A friendly welcome. Comfortable seating.

The food, a filet steak with fries, was exceptionally good; I ordered it medium-rare and it was cooked perfectly. The service was very friendly and quick. I deducted one star for the ambiance because the table we were given was quite small and we were seated right against the wall. Overall, it was excellent; we'll definitely be back.

These guys are quite good when it comes to food, but there's a downside – a complete disaster when it comes to hospitality. We were visiting the city and decided to take a closer look at this place. Despite having a reservation, we waited another 10 minutes for our table with the promise: "They'll be up soon." The appetizer arrived relatively quickly, but the food took a while to arrive. After a full three-quarters of an hour, the food finally arrived. As promised, the food was relatively good, but to be expected for the hefty price. You do need a certain amount of patience. Guests were queuing up at the door, and during our meal, the waiters were practically "scanning" us to see if we were ready. The promise to guests with reservations: "They (i.e., we) would be up soon." This naturally put a certain amount of passive pressure on us. The atmosphere, accordingly, warrants a ONE-STAR rating. The food, however, was truly delicious.

Just a pity there was no Pinocolade cocktail. Furthermore, a delicious meal, highly recommended!

A very good steakhouse. The dry-aged ribeye steak was absolutely delicious. The rump steak is also very good. The crème brûlée is also highly recommended.

I like the place. It looks nice, and the atmosphere is great as long as it's not busy. Unfortunately, I think the food is okay for the price. I'm happy to pay more if I think the food is great. Unfortunately, that's not the case here. But the staff is always very, very friendly.

The two of us walked in unannounced last night. We immediately felt a warm welcome. We hadn't made a reservation, but a table became available immediately, which was cleaned promptly, and we were seated.

We ate there for the first time today and were not disappointed. We had a steak mix and a schnitzel with Brother House sauce. Delicious! Simply delicious! The service was truly attentive and friendly. The value for money is right here. Parking is available right next to the restaurant.

The food was fantastic. I think it was the best beef I've ever had. It's certainly not cheap. With a 2-person starter (soup), 2 steaks with side dishes, coffee, and liqueur, it was €170. But it was very, very good.

We ordered three steaks, all medium – we got a little world tour of doneness: two well-done, then, after a complaint, two new ones, this time rare. All that was missing was medium, and we would have had the set complete. The fried potatoes were served in advance, but were then left to cool on their own while the steaks were re-fried. The result: a cold side dish, cooked to the wrong degree – and all for the price of a Michelin-starred restaurant. A culinary adventure… but unfortunately, in the wrong sense.

Yesterday I was at Steak Brother Goch again with customers and it was sensational and perfect as always.

An amazing find for me. I had the porterhouse steak with some sweet potato fries, the steak absolutely amazing, rare but not cold, you also get the seasonings separate so you can put on it whatever you like, the fries were also crunchy and tasty. After many years of trying steakhouses this is the first that had a good and sharp knife, steak eaters will know how important it is. The service was fast and great. For the atmosphere it’s right next to the main market in Goch, so a lot of people walking by, but no cars. The prices for smaller portions are quite decent, the porterhouse is a bit pricey but it was for sure bigger than 1.1 kg(see for yourself in the pictures). Definitely worth a detour to enjoy some great food.

We came here on april the 24th. As a tourist from the Netherlands. We couldn't really speak german but the host and the servers were very fluent in english. The music was relaxing, the staff was super friendly and the food was astonishing!! If we ever come back to Goch we'll be sure to visit this restaurant once more!

Before entering the restaurant, we asked if we could enter with our dog. They said yes. They gave our dog water. Then our 3-pound little dog barked twice. and they wanted to take us to a table outside. so we left the restaurant. Very bad service.

Me and my boyfriend had dinner there today on Valentine's Day and unfortunately we weren't impressed at all. The food was great, you can't say anything about it, but unfortunately we didn't have a good experience with the service. We had reserved 3 days in advance and were still seated at a remote table right next to the cash register, which was not a pleasant atmosphere at all. Then other couples came without reservations and were immediately offered something in the main area. After requesting to possibly move the table over to the main area, it suddenly worked immediately, but we were then made to feel annoyed, even though we only asked politely. We were only asked once after we had eaten it for a long time whether it tasted good, but there was no trace of politeness from the waiter. Unfortunately, he was quite unprofessional and seemed like he wasn't particularly interested in what he was asking, and he didn't let us finish completely and just moved on. In the end we didn't get a proper farewell, which is definitely what you can expect from a good restaurant. Overall, in my opinion, it can't really be recommended and I wouldn't decide to visit again.

In my personal opinion, this is the best restaurant Goch currently has to offer. The service is great. He seems trained, you are always advised and the employees never seem annoyed when you have questions and can provide competent answers. You never wait long for drinks, no matter how busy it is. Overall, everyone there seems to be trying very hard to ensure that you go home satisfied and full at the end. You always get a warm welcome and my husband and I go there every few months. The staff is steady and they often remember you and chat, which creates a family atmosphere. You just feel comfortable there. The food is excellent. The cart isn't particularly big, but there's something for everyone. Special requests are absolutely no problem and have always been taken into account. The only drawback is that the aisles are narrow, it's a small restaurant that obviously has to accommodate as many people as possible, which on the one hand means that you sit a little more crowded - and on the other hand, the volume increases when it's busy. However, compared to the rest, this is a very small point. The decor is rustic and very nice. We love going there to support these great people and have a nice evening ourselves!

We got a miserably grilled ribeye, which wasn't a ribeye (with a side fat content that doesn't suit this cut at all). The owner was present but unavailable. A late email that tried to persuade us to visit the restaurant again with little insight: "We're sorry that YOU were dissatisfied, but YOU can try us again...". It is clear that Goch and the surrounding area does not have a real steakhouse. It is all the more regrettable that Mr. Kox has given up on his original steakhouse concept and is content with overpriced mediocrity. The high number of positive reviews do not seem credible. Steakhouse connoisseurs are welcome to steer clear.

We spontaneously decided to go out to eat and therefore didn't make a reservation. 🤗 However, the entire team tried very hard to find a place for four people! The food was simply fantastic and all the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating despite the Christmas stress. ⭐️ A really nice evening!

Came here with a group of 13 consisting of 8 adults and 5 toddlers without a reservation. Not only did they serve us, they did it with stellar quality. Waitresses were friendly, the food arrived quickly and the taste of everything we ordered was great. Would give more stars if possible.

I've been going to Steak Brother for many years. I was always greeted warmly (sometimes even with a hug) I have always been very happy with the food and service. I only criticized the food once and from then on, as a long-time customer, I was nothing but air. I was totally ignored, it's a real shame that you're not allowed to express criticism.

We waren met 19 personen van het koor @A Sign of Frienship uit Didam voor een optreden in Goch. Daarna gastvrij ontvangen door het personeel van de Steak Brothers. Buiten heerlijk eten is het personeel er in geslaagd om de bestelling in één keer klaar te hebben en uit te serveren! Super knap met zo'n groep en dank daarvoor. Een dikke 10 voor alles dus!
