We ended up here by chance and are very excited. From the outside it looks relatively inconspicuous, but from the reception to the service and the food, we can only recommend it without reservation. The toilets are also very clean, which is certainly a criterion for most guests when trying out a new restaurant. My husband sat facing the kitchen/pass-through and could see how relaxed, yet quick and coordinated the kitchen crew was working. The waiters are very friendly and fun to eat, the meat was to the point, plenty of sauce, good and large portions at a very good price-performance ratio, the salad buffet is also very rich and fresh. All in all, we would be happy to come back if we ever happen to be in the area again.

Cozy restaurant, on a quiet Monday. Food was delivered quickly and was delicious. In typical German style, they have a salad bar here where you can make your own salad if you order a main course. Highly recommended!

We had a platter for 2 people. After we had waited for more than an hour, a record came that initially made a completely acceptable impression. The rude awakening came when eating: the fries were almost raw and unsalted, and the various types of meat were also not salted. On top of the schnitzel, from the deep fryer, was a pineapple slice, also from the deep fryer, garnished with an imperial cherry. Welcome to the 80s.

Unfortunately I have to take my stars back. The place was very full, which speaks for this place. But what is not right at all is the failure to monitor the 2G+ rules. Absolutely no check of vaccination status and ID card. A waiter wears a plastic mask that is no longer approved only over his mouth. We didn't feel safe at all. So we have found another restaurant for ourselves that we have to cross off our list as long as the Covid-19 situation exists. Unfortunately I will not change my rating because they are taking legal action against this rating with a lawyer. This review was made 2 years ago and now they are seeing a lawyer. Ridiculous.

Unfortunately the kitchen was closed at 9:30 p.m. even though it was supposed to be open until 11 p.m.

Croatian restaurant in the middle of the city and not far from the pedestrian zone 'Voßstraße'. The parking situation is a bit difficult. From 6:00 p.m. and on Sundays and public holidays, the few available ones are free. The restaurant is often visited by Dutch people and so the menu is bilingual. The portions are very tasty, attractively designed and very large with moderate prices. The staff is very friendly and every table has its own waitress. Gladly again.

The new owner is optimising the profit (the best way to do that is attracting new customers, instead of losing old customers). Today we had lunch which starts with a cup of soup, this time half a cup of soup. the main dish was a schnitzel still good, with fries (home made we think) but barely cooked (still raw). the buffet still good. the other choose for the grilled liver with also fries instead of smashed potatoes. We both wanted mayonaise with the fries, we had to pay € 1,60 extra normally this was included. The liver was very salt and the fried onions were glued together not very appetising. instead of having lunch here 10 times per year we will be looking for a new restaurant.

So well eaten, so perfectly treated and so friendly and super delicious food and drinks, you just have to say.. Ambience and service were great! The food was good, but the fried potatoes were too fatty for my taste and some of the meat had too much fat instead of meat. But tastes are different and maybe others like the food that way. All in all, I would eat here again!

I was there again 3 weeks ago, we ordered a platter of grilled meats and were disappointed. The meat was dry and hard, and some was so salty that it was impossible to eat. Two weeks after our visit, we visited a Sarajevo restaurant also serving Balkan cuisine and I must say that we received a similar set of grilled meats and were delighted. Unfortunately, El Paso disappointed us very much this time. The meat is, in a word, inedible. I do not recommend this dish.

Meat poorly prepared. Part full of blood. Part pink. Sausage too dry. Don't eat here again. Too dangerous for my health.

Traditional tasty German food with former colleagues, in a good atmosphere and great service.

It's really great, you feel like you're at home with your family for a family meal or with friends or loved ones. It's worth eating there if you want the kitchen at home to stay cold.

Very tasty food, large portions. The staff was very bad and we were greeted unfriendly at the door just because we didn't make a reservation. Only 5 staff came to us at the beginning, bringing drinks, bringing food, picking up and bringing drinks. And we were served by a child who definitely wasn't over 14. This can be done better

The atmosphere is old-fashioned. It urgently needs to be renovated. The service was okay but the waiter was obviously selling his laugh. The food was mediocre to bad. The schnitzels were okay but the taste was missing. The cream sauce with no taste. A single mush. Any herbs and flavor were missing. The same applies to the forest schnitzel. Very unfortunate.

Das Steakhaus El Paso öiegt in der Gocher City und ist gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Bushaltestelle ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es es so gut wie keine. Die wenigen sind in der Regel besetzt und so muss man einige Minuten Fußweg einkalkulieren. Das Restaurant schaut wie die meisten Balkan/Steakhäuser aus und die Speisekarte bietet auch keine Abwechslung an. Wir hatten mit 8 Personen alles dabei. Steaks, Grillplatte, Pfannengerichte und Schniztel. Alles war gerade so in Ordnung und keinen Deut besser. 1. Die Speisen kamen nicht zeitgleich. 2.Bis auf einem Kellner alle anderen gleichgültig. 3.Empfang war kurz ab und mit Watrezeit obwohl Termin. Das Salatbuffet bestand aus viel Dosengemüse und ein wenig Frischen. Ich würde das Lokal nicht empfehlen

Qua ambiance misschien niet supergezellig maar personeel en eten maakt alles meer dan goed. Niks champignonenroomsaus uit een zakje maar echt vers. Echte duitse schnitzels en grote porties.

Was war El Paso für ein gutes Restaurant. Und jetzt, nach dem Wechsel der Besitzer? Unfreundliches und langsames Personal und unterirdische Essensqualität. Meine Steaks, medium rare bestellt, wären locker als Schuhsohlen durchgegangen. Und diese winzigen Fleischschnipsel mit verbrannten Bratkartoffeln für 29,50 € sind eine Frechheit. Das ist übrigens der einhellige Tenor in unserer 14-köpfigen Gruppe. Fazit: El Paso Goch, never ever.

Nice steak house, with excellent service. But... feels like a bit lost in time. The food is really good, but without the 'wow!' factor... and the place looks like it was stuck back in the 80s in terms of decoration. Still... I'll go there again, because the service was excellent.

Wir haben zum Mittagstisch reserviert. Der Preis ist unschlagbar. Suppe, Salatbuffet, Hauptspeise und Dessert bereits ab 11€. Zudem hat das Essen auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Service ist ebenfalls ausgezeichnet.

Die Bedienung frühstücken Clowns...aufmerksam und freundlich, aber albern komisch. Essen ist okay und erfüllt die Erwartungen. Gut...kein wow... Preise sind moderat.

Niet duur, lekker maar niet bijzonder

Lange autorit maar is het waard. Gewldig lekker allemaal.

Eten was van mindere kwaliteit dan we gewend waren. tijdje niet geweest. dat was dus jammer. bediening en sfeer waren goed.

Mijn vrouw en ik komen hier graag. We houden van de sfeer die je in Duitsland nog hebt. Sommige vinden het misschien ouderwets. Wij vinden het nostalgisch. Het is allemaal heel erg netjes en schoon. Meestal gaan we voor de mittag tisch. Dan eet je voor onze begrippen ruim genoeg en goedkoop. En als je van het Duitse eten houdt dan zit je hier helemaal goed.

Goed restaurant waar je voor een schappelijke prijs kan eten. Ruime menu keuze . Wel kan je merken dat het concept is gebaseerd op massa en snelheid.

Al jaren kwamen wij hier meerder keren per jaar en werden altijd vriendelijk geholpen en een ruime keuze op de menu kaart. Nu een nieuwe eigenaar en een veel mindere keuze en norrig en zuur kijkend, nors personeel. Er blijkt een nieuwe eigenaar en zij lieten ons maar zitten. Na de bestelling zijn er 4 of 5 man bediening geweest en niemand blijkt iets te kunnen ondernemen dan alleen maar zeggen " nog 5 minuutjes " of " nog 5 minuutjes " en wij zijn dus uiteindelijk na een HEEEEELE LANGE WACHTTIJD en ... maar ZONDER ENIG IETS vertrokken en komen er nooit meer terug ! Beste meneer DE BAAS : Na een keer " ICH BIN DER BOSS " weet ik wel wie er de baas is. Zorg maar beter voor menu, personeel en vooral de gasten, BOSS !

Goedkoper is mooi maar vindt kwaliteit belangrijker. En die kwaliteit viel ond enorm tegen. Ach denk dan voor de kinderen een aardbeien ijsjes was er niet meer. Nou de teleurstelling was compleet. Voor de sfeer moet je er al helemaal niet komen. Ons zie er niet meer terug komen.

We komen er al bijna 20 jaar. Nog nooit slecht eten gehad. Goed eten voor een erg schappelijke prijs!

We komen hier al bijna 15 jaar. Het eten is goed, qua kwaliteit, qua prijs en zeker hoeveelheid. Je kunt je gerecht aanpassen naar eigen voorkeur. Er komen veel Nederlanders voor dit restaurant de grens over van allerlei pluimage. Voor sommigen is dit zelfs een wekelijks ritueel, voor lunch of diner. Er is een ruime kinderkaart. Soms is er een aangepaste menukaart op feestdagen. De kaart en het personeel is tweetalig (DE/NL).

Qualitativ hochwertiges Essen zum angemessenen Preis. Ambiente gut 👍🏼 und Personal trotz vollem Haus sehr freundlich.

Nu al een paar keer soepen gehad en echt ze zijn gemaakt met veel te veel zout, en hup naar mijn mening een boullionbloke er in rund of kip en klaar. Het zijn niet echt goed doortrokken soepen en erg jammer
