Star Wok in Viersen

Wir haben köstlich gegessen und wurden gut bedient. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, im Wohnmobil zu übernachten.

Wir haben uns das Essen telefonisch bestellt und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Essen wurde heiß in stabilen Behältern geliefert und das in Rekordzeit. Die Menge war ordentlich und der Geschmack war sehr gut. Das Verhältnis zwischen Fleisch und Beilage war auch in Ordnung. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden.

Das Essen war gut, wirkte frisch, jedoch war das Buffet nicht richtig heiß. Die Räumlichkeiten waren von der Sauberkeit in Ordnung, aber nicht super sauber. Das Ambiente ist Geschmackssache, wir fanden es im unteren Gebäude sehr altbacken und im hinteren Neubau wo auch das Buffet ist eher schlicht und etwas lieblos. Die WCs waren gepflegt und sauber. Was jedoch am meisten zu kritisieren ist war der sehr strenge Fettgeruch der Fritteuse im gesamten Gebäude, das ist wirklich nicht gut. Die Auswahl am Buffet war ausreichend und beschränkt auf die häufigsten Gerichte. Uns fehlten Salate und vielleicht 2 Suppen statt nur einer. Beim Eis muss ich die Hygiene etwas kritisieren, hier wurde die Eisschaufel doch recht lange in dem gleichen Wasser gereinigt, gefährlich für Salmonellen. Insgesamt muss man aber auch sagen man bekommt das was man bezahlt, die Preise waren günstig und daher kann man auch nicht mehr erwarten.

Wir haben per Lieferando bestellt. War unkompliziert und ging schnell. Essen war lecker und die Portionen echt ordentlich. Blieb für alle noch was übrig. Bestellen gerne wieder.

Ich bin echt positiv überrascht 😄 Essen super lecker, mega Auswahl und alles schön frisch. Das Buffet macht richtig Spaß, weil man immer was Neues probieren kann. Personal total entspannt und freundlich. Für den Preis echt empfehlenswert – komme safe wieder!

Wir bestellen dort immer über lieferando. Es sind immer große Portionen und schmeckt immer super. Letztes Mal haben wir sogar etwas Obst umsonst dazu bekommen. Alles top.

Die Bedienung war sehr nett, brachte Getränke, war aber nicht aufdringlich, wie in manch anderen Restaurants. Wir waren vollkommen zufrieden und werden bald wieder dort einkehren.

Gutes Essen und noch besserer Service. Wir haben uns für das Buffet entschieden und wurden sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist groß und abwechslungsreich. Man kann sich seine Gerichte selbst zusammenstellen, mit verschiedenen Fleischsorten, Gemüse oder was immer man möchte – alles wird frisch zubereitet. Alternativ gibt es viele Möglichkeiten, Nudeln, gebratenen Reis oder normalen Reis mit verschiedenen Fleischgerichten oder vegetarischen Optionen wie Pilzen zu kombinieren. Auch bei den Vorspeisen hat man die Wahl: Kartoffeln, Chicken Nuggets und vieles mehr. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Boden und Tische klebrig und schmutzig. Buffet wirkte optisch und geschmacklich wie Resteverwertung gepaart mit Billigconvenience. Gerade an einem Sonntagnachmittag hätte ich hier ein besseres Gastronomieerlebnis erwartet. Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis passt hier nicht.

Das Essen hat super geschmeck und die Portionen sind reichlich und lohnt für den Preis von ca. 10 bis 17 euro je nach Gericht.

Hatten zum Mitnehmen bestellt, mussten dann aber trotzdem noch vor Ort warten. Die Frühlingsrollen sahen aufgewärmt aus und schmeckten nach altem Fett, obwohl das Restaurant gerade erst aufgemacht hatte. Unbestellte Nudeln waren auch mit dabei, die nicht appetitlich aussahen. Für mich so ungenießbar und kommt sofort raus aus meinen eigentlichen Favoriten (wir hatten vor Jahren dort bestellt).

Die Speisekarte könnte mal geändert werden ( Mittagskarte ) AmBüffeh ist mittags um 12:00 so gut wie leer noch nichts aufgefüllt Im Winter ist es sehr kalt im Restaurant es wird an Heizung gespart

Wir hatten ein Abendessen in diesem Restaurant. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, das Ambiente im Eingansbereich sehr schön, am Buffet direkt, Wintergarten etwas Kantinenmässiges. Ein paar Pflanzen würden den Raum verschönern. Das Buffet war übersichtlich, sauber und wurde stetig aufgefüllt. Bei der Nachtischauswahl, hätte unserer Meinung nach, etwas mehr vorhanden sein können. Die freie Getränkeauswahl war hervorragend, für jeden was dabei. Fazit: Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen war nicht schlecht, aber für so eine Art von Buffet war es zu wenig Auswahl. Meistens waren die einzelnen Gericht kalt. Die Zubereitung am Grill hat auch recht lange gedauert. Das Personal war nett und bemüht. Aber so ganz hat es unseren Geschmack nicht getroffen, trotzdem verließen wir den Laden pappsatt...übernachtet haben wir dann im Camper auf dem Hof - umsonst. Danke dafür.

We went there for the first time today and were looking forward to the buffet. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations: the selection was very limited, the food was rarely refilled, and overall, it felt more like leftovers. Additionally, the website states that Sundays are €15.80 per person, but the charge was €17.80 when we arrived. Drinks are also mandatory, which wasn't clear beforehand. The staff was friendly, but we're certain: We'll never visit this restaurant again.

We often enjoy stopping by here with our motorhome and enjoying the delicious food at Star Wok.

We like to eat there, but must admit that the buffet is okay.

Ordered for 3 people. The portion size is more suited to at least 4 people. The food was incredibly delicious and still very hot, which is very rare for other places. Conclusion: Sensational value for money!! 🤩😍👍

Five stars, I'd be happy to give it five! This relatively inconspicuous restaurant is located on a corner not far from the B9 highway toward Viersen and is a real insider tip. Plenty of parking spaces right outside the front door eliminate the worry of finding a suitable spot for your car, free of charge. The ambiance is pleasant, exuding tranquility; you get the feeling that time has stood still here, allowing you to enjoy the incredible selection without being "shoved" in the face of a reservation card for the next guest after a few minutes (as agreed) during casual conversation. Following the sumptuous meal, a digestive walk in the nearby nature is a good idea. The opening hours (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Sundays and public holidays from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.) are ideal, so you can spend your lunch break there or have an alternative if you want to treat yourself to a Sunday without cooking. However, the prices are on the lower end compared to the service. There's something for everyone here; the menu is extensive, with chicken, duck, salads, grilled meat, and rice variations. My friends and I ate together in the garden, which was particularly sunny. My child played in the sandbox nearby, and the time flew by. The service was extremely friendly and the food was delicious. Shanghai Garden is no more. Recently became Star Wok and you can taste it. Got a chicken/rice/vegetable dish, fried banana with honey and three satay skewers with sauce. I found it very disappointing. Upon arrival we were immediately asked to order "definitely take it with you!" which doesn't look nice. Lots of chicken, but few vegetables. Had asked for white rice and expected it to be a separate bowl. Unfortunately everything mixed together with soy sauce and few vegetables. Lots of chicken but tasteless. Sateh sauce was a kind of salty sauce. The chicken in the sateh also had a different texture than in the main course. Didn't get a 10% discount on all food either! (i.e. only on main courses!). I paid 18.50 for this. Too bad, because I was really looking forward to this.

Typical Asian restaurant in Germany but less frills, more of a cozy, clean, comfortable atmosphere, bright and partly flooded with light. The buffet is good and plentiful and is constantly refilled. The service is excellent. People are always asking what they want at the table. I have always been very satisfied so far.

It used to be nice, but with the new owners the austerity measures have also come into effect. The buffet resembles the offer of a bad chip shop. Although you can reorder individual items that were previously available on the buffet, they are warmed up in the microwave and quickly become cold again. The quality is based on this. You even have to ask extra for the rice!!! Supposedly there is this reduction in supply to maintain freshness. I can only strongly advise anyone not to visit this “restaurant” again. In our brave presence, several guests left the restaurant immediately after entering. You won't see us there anymore either.

We have never experienced such a small buffet before. In the end we didn't eat anything and wanted to pay for our drinks with a card, which was obviously a big problem. Because you should pay in cash??? At some point it was possible to pay by card. Even regular guests were absolutely dissatisfied. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

As soon as I entered the restaurant I was warmly welcomed. The staff always made sure that I wasn't missing anything and regularly asked whether everything was to my satisfaction. The food itself was absolutely first class. The selection was impressive and every dish was fresh and delicious. You could create any dish you wanted and it tasted great. Another big plus was the quiet and pleasant environment. Star Wok has managed to create an oasis of peace where you can enjoy your food in peace. Overall, I highly recommend Star Wok. Not only does it offer great food, but also first-class service in a relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely come back!

Ordered via Lieferando. Strange delivery service. You give cash and name a sum and the driver leaves without giving any change. After mentioning the amount again, the passenger went to the car and got my change. I found it a bit strange to expect that you wouldn't be expected to refund change. In addition, the taste of the food was ok but nothing more. The whole bag was covered in sauce because it was so runny. The chicken was zero crispy. The sauce was vinegary as was the seaweed salad. All in all, I'm sorry. But we wouldn't order again.

We just happened to be there for lunch. Table in the winter garden. Very pleasant. The super-friendly service informed us that there would be other dishes in addition to the buffet dishes, but that they would always be freshly prepared. She gave us a small list. The selection at the buffet was quite sufficient. The freshly prepared dishes were nice and hot, fries were crispy, meat was tender, and the baked banana was excellent. We will come back, also because of the pleasant, quiet atmosphere and because of the new service. Price was more than justified.

Haben dort Essen bestellt. Geschmacklich war es insgesamt schon gut. Die Erdnusssauce könnte was intensiver sein. Ansonsten aber echt gut. Großes Pro sind die Portionen bei Lieferung! Da hat man für zwei Tage was! Hut ab.
