Staffelberg Kegelbahn in Bad Staffelstein

Very nice guesthouse. I can't understand individual bad reviews. Great service, familiar, friendly, you feel very comfortable. The rooms are simple but neat, spacious and clean. Very comfortable beds, new mattresses and new bathrooms. Great view from the balcony. Starting point for hikes or bike tours and only 10 minutes to the thermal baths. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area

Really recommended, I only have to deduct 1 star for the ambience, somehow I had the feeling of sitting in a cafeteria.

Today we ate in the salt room for the second time during our holiday week. We already knew the restaurant from previous visits to Bad Staffelstein. Since there are apparently some bad reviews here, I would like to leave absolutely positive feedback. We have rarely experienced such friendly staff and our dishes were excellent both in terms of taste and value for money. Our extra request was also taken into account. As expected, the ambience is rustic - that doesn't bother you when you're eating *grin. The moss decoration is great.

Good bourgeois cuisine. Jägerschnitzel not breaded. Plus delicious mushroom sauce. Homemade potato salad and salad was also very good. Maybe avoid space at the entrance in winter because opening and closing always brings a gust of cold wind.
