The reception area was very messy. The room was filthy. The toilet was completely discolored and covered in limescale. Various lightbulbs were in use. The windows leaked, and rain came in. Breakfast was good, and the room had a nice view. OK for tradespeople, but not recommended for a family vacation.

After the bad meal at Tambach Golf Club, we wanted to give it another try, but we should have left it alone. The service was very unfriendly and smelled strongly of smoke, the toilet was awful... The only thing you can't complain about is the beer.

I really don't want to be negative because every restaurant is unique in its own way. This one is worth a visit, but only if you were already planning to visit the beautiful church next door (there's another name for the building, but I can't remember it). We had a table in a hall that looked like a school cafeteria... extremely loud, extremely long wait for the food (the wait was probably so long because we ate there during the Christmas season, so it's rather secondary since I can't say what it's normally like), and what I found worst of all, the food was rather expensive but really not great... the goose breast had goose hair in it... a no-go in my opinion... the schnitzel was okay, I've had much better, and the fries were frozen... all in all, a rather mixed experience. However, as already mentioned, you have to consider that all of this took place during the Christmas season, which is a real challenge for restaurants. The prices are a joke! €7.50 for a cheese sandwich is ridiculous! The menu listed it as a wood-fired bread with Gouda and strips of bell pepper, which made me assume it was meant to be a hot dish. The waiters were very friendly, though.

A Franconian inn in Weisbrem offering good, freshly prepared food, delicious beers and other beverages from the Staffelbergbräu brewery in Loffeld, friendly service, and reasonable prices. The house-brewed schnapps, liqueurs, and Franconian whisky are especially recommended, also available to take away. Here, they still brew according to traditional methods.
