Eigentlich eine urige Kneipe..Nur ein Wermutstropfen hat das Ganze,bestellt man eine Speise aus der Karte,wo ohnehin eine Beilage dazugehört, aber wenn man statt Kartoffeln dann eine andere Beilage wählt, wird man kräftig zur Kasse gebeten, finf ich unverschämt 😬

Man fühlt sich als Gast ein wenig betrogen. Ich wollte mit meinem Sohn in den Ferien ein "Mittagsschnitzel" essen und fragte bei der Bedienung nach, welche uns mitteilte, dass es in der Ferienzeit keine Mittagskarte gibt. Wir haben uns dann für ein normales Schnitzel entschieden. Während wir im Lokal waren, wurde am Tisch hinter uns plötzlich ein Mittagsschnitzel serviert. Auf unsere Frage hin, wie dies sein könne, hieß es völlig unverständlich, es sei durchaus möglich ein Mittagsschnitzel zu bekommen (Aussage einer anderen Bedienung). In der Karte war keine Mittagskarte vorhanden. Sehr eigenartige Praxis und schmeckt sehr nach Abzocke. Eine Entschuldigung war leider auch nicht drin. Insgesamt finde ich manches Personal zum Teil unangemessen arrogant, es gibt aber auch (vor allem die jüngeren Kollegen) sehr nette Bedienungen. Das Essen selbst war sehr gut

Eine kleine Familienfeier führte in die Stadtwirtschaft Freiberg. Wir suchten uns einen Tisch im Außenbereich, der sich nach und nach füllte. Es gibt "böhmisches Essen" und entsprechend böhmisches Bier. Das Bier schmeckt gut und ist in vielen Varianten verfügbar. Das Essen war ebenfalls schmackhaft, deftig, reichlich und machte einen wirklich guten Eindruck. Wir hatten z.B. das gezupfte Rindfleisch mit Süßkartoffel-Pommes, Rindergulasch mit Knödel und Schitzel mit Pommes. Einzig der Service war durchwachsen und scheinbar schlecht organisiert. Getränke wurden vergessen, kamen ewig nicht. Auf Nachfrage reagierte man gereizt und schnippig, diskutierte herum, warum und wer nun die Bestellung aufgenommen hat oder eben nicht. Das geht gar nicht. Gerade die abkassierende Dame am 29.06. war an Dreistigkeit schwer zu überbieten. Da hat wohl jemand vergessen, was Gäste für ein Restaurant bedeuten.

A visit here is definitely a nice experience. Everything just worked for us. From the ambience to the extremely friendly staff to the fantastic food. Unfortunately, after we discovered the restaurant, we were only in Freiberg for 2 days. So we couldn't try out the map completely 😉

Yesterday you were our icing on the cake in the evening after an already wonderful Sunday trip to the Erzgebirge with friends. We are so overwhelmed and excited by what you have created with the city economy!!! What a great place and how much love and skill and humor there is in everything. From the super varied menu, which also has a lot of interesting things for non-meat eaters like us, to the stylish, cozy interior, the rustic, inviting beer garden, to the pleasant service, to the lovingly funny conversation napkin...We're coming definitely again and look forward to even more discoveries and lots of Bohemian love ;) Is there somewhere where we can find out more about the history of the Stawi and the people behind it?!

THE restaurant in Freiberg! My/our regular restaurant for more than 10 years. Very tasty food, extremely diverse and delicious beers, top service, fun marketing at all levels, very friendly employees. All Stawi rooms were always clean and tidy, even when the house was full we looked for a way to get a table. If you come by car, you can stand for free on Burgstrasse or on the Untermarkt from 6 p.m. There is also delicious food, catering and tasty ice cream on the street. Keep it up! 👍🏼 PS: If you can't decide, Czech bullshit and an APA or a mother-in-law 👍🏼

We had lunch there with friends. The service was 1a, the food was delicious. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, we are looking forward to coming back to Freiberg next spring. The city economy will definitely be a contact point.

Absolute recommendation. An ambience that is second to none. A rustic inn with lots of dark wood, paired with an explosion of creative details that made us smile at every corner. Just reading the menu is a highlight. If you come here, be very hungry. The portions are impressive. Everything is guaranteed to be fresh and homemade. And you can trust the guarantee. The food is stunningly good. And the prices are really moderate for the quality and quantity. There is also plenty to discover and do for the little guests. Very child friendly. There is a very large selection of beers for the dads. All in all, an absolute recommendation here in Freiberg. We'll definitely be back. But then with great hunger. Thank you for this great experience. Gladly again.

Delicious food, large portions, very good coffee. I had roasted cheese, my girlfriend had a burger and both dishes were great. Only the burger fries were average, but everything else was really top-notch. We got our food quickly and both at the same time

There's actually nothing to complain about except for the menu. I find a menu where no prices are given very special. You actually want to know a little bit about what you're getting yourself into. Or should we have acted on the bill 🤔😜

Super nice service, very tasty fresh food. Unfortunately the drinks always took a little longer. The menu was also very interesting to read with a lot of humor, but there is a bit too much "about it" that unfortunately the dishes are a bit neglected or you have to look for them.

Wir waren im Juli 2024 da. Das Restaurant liegt versteckt in der schönen Innenstadt, auf einem Hinterhof. Auch wenn es sehr voll war haben wir noch einen schönen Platz im Hof gefunden. Das Essen war äußerst lecker. Eine große Auswahl an Getränken gab es auch unter anderem eine Auswahl böhmisches Bier Es gab deutsche und böhmische Küche. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und lecker. Außerdem waren die Toiletten sehr sauber und ordentlich. Sie waren auch sehr kreativ gestaltet z.b. gab es Zapfhähne als Wasserhahn und Bierkästen als Beleuchtung. Gegenüber gab es eine Spiele Ecke für Kinder. Man konnte sowohl innen als auch im Hinterhof draußen sitzen.

Auf Empfehlung von Freunden sind wir in der Stadtwirtschaft eingekehrt, die sich ganz der böhmischen Küche verschrieben hat. Schon die Schilder auf der Straße sind einzigartig und schreien geradezu nach einer Einkehr. Das setzt sich in den Biergarten fort und endet echt erst auf den WC´s. Bilder, Sprüche und Skulpturen. Man schmunzelt, wohin man auch blickt. Deswegen waren wir aber nicht in der Stadtwirtschaft. Böhmische Küche, unser erstes Mal. Und wenn man sich nicht so auskennt, probiert man doch das, was man schon mal gehört hat. Gulasch mit böhmischen Knödeln, Rotkohl und dazu ein schönes dunkles Bier. Muss sagen, das war essenstechnisch die beste Entscheidung, die wir getroffen haben. Der Gulasch war eine Offenbarung und nein, ich übertreibe hier nicht! Perfekt geschmort, perfekt abgestimmt und mehr als oberlecker. Dazu hausgemachter Rotkohl mit einer Unmenge an Gewürzen. Einfach ein Traum. Mein Sohn mag keine böhmischen Knödel und hat sich deren Schwenkkartoffeln dazu bestellt und auch diese waren ganz toll. Einziger Malus hier war, dass die böhmischen Knödel nicht hausgemacht sind und da war ich ein bissel traurig. OK, das hat das Ergebnis nicht wirklich negativ beeinflusst, aber man erwartet, dass auch eins von deren Nationalgerichten hier hausgemacht wird. Wie dem auch sei, selbst wenn man nicht wie wir im Urlaub dort sind, lohnt sich auch ein längerer Weg in die tolle Stadtwirtschaft in Freiberg. Preislich etwas oberhalb angesiedelt, aber dennoch rechtfertig die Qualität den Preis durchaus. Wir sind angefixt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Today we had the pleasure of visiting the city business in Freiberg. With a group of six people and a dog, we received a very warm welcome. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly, which made our visit very pleasant from the start. The food was simply outstanding. Each of us was amazed by the quality and taste of the food. The menu is exceptional and offers a variety of creative and tasty dishes. Particularly noteworthy is the variety and sophistication of the dishes on offer, which go far beyond the usual. The entire ambience of the restaurant is impressive. The atmosphere is both inviting and cozy, making you immediately feel at home. The attention to detail is evident everywhere, from the decoration to the service. If Charles IV, King of Bohemia, were still alive, he would certainly exchange his throne for a regular place in the city's economy. It's that good there! We can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!

A very high-quality restaurant with a special feel-good atmosphere. The food tastes excellent, the range of drinks is varied and the service is also good. Every visit is absolutely worth it!

Very, very nice and rustic atmosphere, we had dinner here today with the company. It was my first time there and I can only be amazed at how, despite the number of guests, the service and food preparation went smoothly. Big praise to the kitchen and the service staff! Very tasty, no long waiting times and a manageable menu that has something for everyone. The 5* is really deserved!

We only saw the courtyard and it was very nice. The map is tiring to read, but quite fun if you get into it. The service is friendly and quick. I found the food a bit over-seasoned. The children's meal was unimaginative. I had a non-alcoholic lager as a drink - I can only advise against it. I like bitter beer like Jever or similar but this was inedibly bitter.

An experience every time: the ambience, food and drinks are simply great. Sometimes I think to myself, I should move in here...

A really nice restaurant in the heart of the city of Freiberg. The Bohemian Prices impress me every time. The ambience fuses many different styles - from the rustic inn to the modern and elegant interior with the "little mole", everything is perfectly coordinated. This makes it a great experience for young and old! If you don't like a lot of food, you can of course be won over by the large selection of beer. Personally, I like the coffee there the best and together with a homemade cheesecake it is my highlight.

Arrived today with 13 hungry bikers. The ambience and menu are simply spectacular. Everyone was absolutely thrilled with their dishes. The service was top with warm, friendly people.

Celebrated my birthday there a few days ago, the best Wienerschnitzel outside of Vienna, delicious asparagus, prepared to perfection, the house wine was very pleasant to drink. I'm thrilled!

If you're in acute distress, you've come to the right place. Delicious food, friendly service and an atmosphere that is really worth seeing. And if the adults want to be alone, there is a children's area where you can leave school children alone for longer periods of time.

Great place to have a nice meal! Prices are reasonable for the amount of food and you won't leave here hungry anyway, great beer and top advice! We will be back! For dinner there was a vegan lamb burger and Pilsener beer sparrows, simply delicious!

We've always enjoyed being guests at the city's restaurant, but unfortunately it's probably the same here too: prices are rising and the quality of service is falling. As requested, we waited at the entrance to ask for a free table. After the fourth service employee walked past us without even looking at us, we looked for a place. Here too we were ignored for at least 15 minutes, even though several employees walked past us and after 9 p.m. the beer garden was still well attended but not overly full. Our drinks came relatively quickly, but when our glasses were empty, no one asked if we wanted anything else or if we wanted to pay. We also had to take care of this ourselves and call on the service staff. Luckily for you, there are still enough tourists who will be thrilled by the really beautiful ambience and your original furnishings, but unfortunately you are scaring away local guests with such poor service. Addendum: Ahoy, To be honest, I find your answer a bit cheeky, now it's the guest's own fault for not being served??? 1. 9 p.m. is certainly not the classic meal time (not even a waiter came past us with full plates) 2. the number of occupied tables was clear 3. We waited and someone just spoke to us and said "Hello, it's a bad fit right now, but please wait a few more minutes" we would have done the same, waited patiently, drank our beer and didn't complain in any way. But I find this ignorance and now also your arrogant answer (excuse me?) very disappointing. You probably won't see us and our regulars' tables again for a while and we won't be giving away the vouchers anymore either. Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with pampering Bohemia.

Wir haben hier unser jährliches Familientreffen mit 30 Personen verbracht. Die Wirtschaft ist zentral gelegen und gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Sie liegt mitten in der Einkaufsstraße. Ein toller Abend bei leckerem Essen, ob tschechisch oder europäisch. Eine urige Wirtschaft mit allerlei Köstlichkeiten. Hier war für jeden etwas dabei. Freundliches Personal, Essen kam zeitgleich, war sehr lecker.

Very good Czech cuisine, very rustic atmosphere. We enjoyed ourselves outside and were completely satisfied. Even going to the toilet was an experience due to the very imaginative design. Friends of the little mole will get their money's worth here.

We were there for the first time this afternoon and it was great. The location itself is an attraction. The food was good and plentiful. There was one star deduction because the dumplings were ready-made but the meat and vegetables were homemade and very good. The service was very friendly and quick. We immediately had the feeling that we had found exactly the right restaurant for us.

Beautiful atmosphere and the food was excellent, although it took a while to study the menu. The toilets are also a small attraction 😂 Update April 2024: Due to various business trips, I have been a guest in this restaurant for the third time since November 2023 and every time it has been absolutely top class. I wish you would open an identical restaurant in Bavaria so that the journey isn't so long and I can finally try all the good beer! 🤣

The food was very good. But unfortunately the service wasn't that attentive. There was zero attention paid to empty drinks and if attention was paid, you simply walked past. We sat on empty glasses for over half an hour, even though 5 people walked past us (several times). Would have liked to order dessert, no attention, no sales. Unfortunately we won't be coming back

We were visiting Freiberg and came across the restaurant by chance. We spontaneously decided to stop. We were assigned our seats by the friendly staff in the covered outdoor area. The menu had lots of delicious Bohemian dishes and also great Czech beer. We chose fried cheese wedges and the Ur-Schnitzel, which was served with white cabbage salad which was exactly to our liking. Both dishes were served quickly and were very tasty and sufficient. We were completely satisfied and if we are in the area again, we will definitely come back there. The visit was a nice experience and to the city economy team we say “Thank you and keep it up”!

The names of the food are interesting and funny. The portions are huge. My food was a bit too salty (maybe the chef is in love 😍 😉). Very pleasant atmosphere and mood.

An exciting intellectual excursion to Bohemia, design in every millimeter - probably also milliliters. Food great, beer selection amazing. Very nice people, very detailed in the design - whether the route to the non-quiet place (it takes a while to get back because of the visual temptations on the way) or the menu (sometimes quite trying to use the language, but overall funny) - or quality . You won't lose weight in this house, but you'll usually enjoy every calorie. Maybe again (like) or even straight to the Czech Republic. 🇨🇿

I was a guest of the Freiberg city economy. There I chose the Ur-Schnitzel and it was a good choice. The schnitzel was top and the coleslaw was exactly my taste. Fries were plentiful and completed the dish. I would order this dish a second time. The service was courteous and friendly. The waiting time for drinks and food was quite short. Keep it up.

Visited you today spontaneously, for the first time. Were warmly received and placed. Ordering and delivery went quickly. The food was very tasty, so we treated ourselves to some ice cream. Because you just have it. When we visit Freiberg, a stop at your place is unavoidable. We are literally drawn into the Stawi. It was great again today!!! Although very well attended today around 12:00 noon, there was no sense of hecticness, the team was once again extremely experienced, hard-working and extremely friendly. I've eaten there four times now. Every time very tasty food, super tasty beer and very nice service. Gladly again.

The stay was very nice. To welcome you, you first go past the border and into a remarkably beautiful restaurant. Equipped with attention to detail, e.g. The little mole also sits at the bar and has very nice furnishings. A very large selection of skewers, which as far as I could observe, all tasted very good and were beautifully presented. There is also a truly utopian selection of beers. I only find the dessert really too expensive, otherwise no criticism from the food. Aich the toilets are beautifully designed as are all the hallways. Definitely recommended and will visit the location again when I'm there again. My main course in the photo is “Czech bullshit”.

Super comfortably furnished, large restaurant, which is divided into many smaller rooms, the service was great, the food was great, the atmosphere too... a full 5 stars for your restaurant... keep it up!!!! The menu is very extensive, you need time to find your way through it, questions about the dishes are answered gladly and comprehensively. We felt very comfortable and would like to come back.

Everything finely designed with love. There is a playroom with plenty of activities for the children. The staff is also very friendly and can give good advice on the very special and unusual menu. The bandage dog on the toilet is unbeatable 🤣👍

We took a nice trip to Freiberg today and topped it off with a stop at the town's inn. What a brilliant restaurant. However, a table reservation seems advisable. It's really very crowded and when you see the food and drinks, you know why.

Had dinner with friends, brewery atmosphere was okay. Simple food but super expensive. 80g goulash with 4 small dumpling slices 18.50 and sauerkraut 2 spoons extra! 3.90 left! Real manufacturing price of about 3 euros for everything, bordering on usury, in my opinion. Otherwise average, service friendly. I won't go there again, there is better for the money.

Wir waren schon mehrfach dort Essen. Das Ambiente, der Service mit Geschwindigkeit und Freundlichkeit sind einzigartig. Das absolute Highlight ist aber immer das Essen. Egal was wir bestellt haben war Mega lecker, frisch zubereitet und immer schnell am Tisch. Und in der Wartezeit hat man mit der witzigen Speisekarte immer etwas zu lesen! Unser Lieblingsrestaurant. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne!

Sehr schön eingerichtete tschechische Gaststätte in der Altstadt von Freiberg. Das Essen war ausgesprochen gut und der Service flott. Lediglich die Preise waren ziemlich gepfeffert. Zu Mittag gibt es allerdings eine etwas günstigere Karte mit kleineren Portionen. Das fanden wir sehr gut. Auf den Toiletten gibt es so einiges zu entdecken, was wir teilweise sehr lustig fanden. Es gibt unzählige Schankràume in rustikalem Stil und sogar eine Kinderspielecke im oberen Bereich. Das nächste mal stecken wir pro Nase 75 Euro ein und verbringen den ganzen Abend hier ;) Eine Reservierung ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir waren da und es ist die beste Gastwirtschaft in Freiberg. Allein die Internetseite (die echt mit Liebe und witzig gemacht ist) macht Lust dort einzukehren. Achso, und schmecken tut es auch noch. Da kommt man gern mal aus Chemnitz vorbei gefahren.

Ich kann hier nur zustimmen was andere Gäste schon geschrieben. Ein Restaurant der besonderen Art! Beim ersten Versuch dort einzukehren wurden wir leider abgewiesen, weil nicht reserviert. Beim zweiten Versuch hat es geklappt und uns wurde sofort klar warum es dort besser ist zu reservieren. Super Essen nach böhmischer Art, gutes Bier und guter Wein zu vertretbaren Preisen. Nach wenigen Minuten war das Restaurant gut besucht. Das Personal sollte nicht vergessen werden, denn es war schnell, aufmerksam und dabei zurückhaltend. Weiter so!

Ein schönes Böhmisches Restaurant der besonderen Art. Die Räume sind sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Sogar die Toiletten sind sehenswert. Das essen schmeckt hervorragend. Das riesen Angebot an verschiedenen Böhmischen Biere ist Super.

Ein Lokal der besonderen Art! Service sehr zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Hunde willkommen. Die Karte bietet böhmische Spezialitäten an ggf wird man gut beraten. Wir haben uns für Böhmische Kohl- lik und Freiburger entschieden. Beides sehr lecker. Als Nachtisch gab es Liwanzen. Ebenfalls lecker. Waren zum ersten Mal hier und würden immer wieder kommrn. Weiter so und alles Gute dem gesamten Team!

Im August 2022 waren wir dort und ich wollte eigentlich sofort nach der Heimreise meine Meinung schreiben. Wie das nun manchmal so ist, kommt es anders als gedacht. Jetzt in der Weihnachtszeit der Freiberger Familie gedacht und in Erinnerungen geschwelgt, sind wir auch auf den Besuch in der Stadtwirtschaft gekommen und wir erinnern uns noch immer gern an die schöne Zeit dort, an das leckere Essen und die freundlichen Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter. Das leckere Essen ist in diesem Fall keine der üblichen Floskeln, mich hat es so sehr überrascht, dass es so geschmeckt hat, als hätte ich es selbst gekocht, oder jemand aus dem Freiberger Zweig der Familie, dass ich mich sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt habe. Dieses Gefühl hat man wohl nicht oft in Restaurants. Da reise ich gern wieder aus dem Berliner Raum an. Beim nächsten Besuch in Freiberg steht die Stadtwirtschaft auf jeden Fall wieder auf dem Plan. Ich hoffe ihr haltet das Niveau und wünsche allen in der Stadtwirtschaft alles Gute für das kommende Jahr!

Ich liebe dieses Restaurant ich war als kind immer oben und hab der kleine maulwurf geguckt auch essen sehr gut nur zu empfehlen ❤️

Die Location ist eine Bombe! Sehr nice flair! Das Bier war vorzüglich, doch der Burger war zu trocken. Die Bedienung war zwar freundlich und hilfsbereit, doch eher lahm und die Bestellung dauerte über eine halbe Stunde. Die Tische waren sauber, jedoch die Bierglasuntersetzer am Tisch waren alle benutzt und das war etwas unappetitlich. Overall gebe ich eine sehr wohl verdiente drei.

Wir waren heute zum Jahresausklang in unserem Lieblingsrestaurant. Das Essen, das Ambiente ist einfach super und die Mitarbeiter sind echt Spitze. Immer freundlich und bemüht, den Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Und es gelingt ihnen immer. Wahnsinnig gut! Wir hatten für Samstag zum Mittagessen einen Tisch reserviert, weil es laut Aussagen der Einheimischen häufig sehr voll ist. Aufgrund großer Gruppen war es auch voll und etwas lauter, aber das störte uns nicht. Wir wurden freundlich bedient und haben trotz der vollen Hütte zügig unser Essen bekommen. Pro-Tipp: Bestellt einen Tee, dann gibt's das süße Honigbärchen. Alles in allem top, wir kommen gern wieder!
