Stadtwirtschaft in Freiberg

After visiting the museum, we were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat. That's when we came across the Stadtwirtschaft (city restaurant). There were three of us, and we each ordered a snack and then a dessert. As always with food, it's a matter of taste and what you expect when you go in. We were very satisfied with our food; everything was delicious. Our server was also very friendly and polite.

Czech cuisine with a modern twist. We were here for a company party, and everyone was very pleased with their meals. The service was attentive and friendly, the food arrived quickly, and was consistently delicious. The tank beer is also very tasty. Highly recommended.

The food here was fantastic - the main course was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere is lovely and comfortable. We would easily give five stars, but the service was a bit slow, especially when waiting for the check. It didn't ruin the evening, but it took away a tiny bit of the shine. We'll definitely be back for the incredible menu.

The Stadtwirtschaft—what can I say! The dishes there are unsurpassed in their sophisticated culinary craftsmanship. Bohemian cuisine at its finest. The beef roulade—the poetry of Bohemian cuisine in its purest form! The desserts! Pure hedonism! Wine, beer, food—here. And in abundance, served by witty, professional staff with a youthful charm. I'll definitely be back. I'll definitely be very hungry, so I can enjoy everything properly!

During our three-day short stay in Freiberg, we visited this exceptional, wonderful restaurant twice. It's located in the town's pedestrian zone. We were immediately captivated by the wonderfully delicious food and beers on our first visit. From the beautifully written menu with its many dishes to the decor throughout the building, this is a place where you'll definitely want to linger. We were treated to home-style Bohemian cooking, just to our taste! The service was very friendly. We wish this restaurant many more satisfied guests and would be happy to return if we're in the area!

Nothing special and very expensive! Homemade lemonade for €6.50, very sweet. It's made with syrup, water, and lemon. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the mint. The wood chips were very salty. The goulash with dumplings was okay, but I had to pay extra for the sauerkraut. We paid over €60 for two meals and three drinks... Once and never again; we were very disappointed.

Delicious Bohemian cuisine, an entertaining menu, and a very creatively themed interior! The staff is friendly. During our short stay in Freiberg, we went back a second time because we loved it and enjoyed it so much! Highly recommended 😎

For 25 euros, a small beef roulade with some red cabbage and 4 of the dumplings from the picture. The sauce was delicious, but that was about it. The schnitzel was 20 euros plus a small bowl of mushroom sauce, at most a finely chopped champignon. (4 euros extra) Tasted of nothing. Neither the schnitzel nor the sauce was good. The fries, as always, weren't tasty. The waitress was fussy, "Take your hands off there, please..." in a tone that was downright rude. We usually come here for business lunches about every two weeks, but this was the last time for now.

It's a shame we don't live here. Then we'd definitely become regulars. Thank you for the lovely evening, the very friendly service, and the delicious food!

We ate at the Stadtwirtschaft tonight. We weren't really sure what to think, as the dishes, etc., were relatively unfamiliar to us. But we'd heard from someone that it was good. It was even better than good. Friendly staff and superb food. The same person serves every time, not only taking and bringing orders, but also providing excellent advice on dishes we weren't familiar with. In a word, top-notch. Thank you.

Very nice and welcoming, except for the man who brought us to our table, who made a rude remark. Otherwise, everything was great, the food and the waiter... Parking is very poor in the downtown pedestrian zone....

Simply fantastic ☺️ 👍. A charming beer garden and a beautiful restaurant certainly beckoned us to linger. But overall, it was an absolute experience. Funny invitations to enter, special wordplay, and lovely creative ideas for the interior brought a smile to our faces even before we even started eating. The staff are super friendly and very competent. Special praise also goes to the chefs, whose cuisine is excellent. We'll definitely be back. Another reason to visit the pretty town of Freiberg again.

The best Bohemian food in a long time! You don't have to travel to Bohemia to enjoy such delicious food. The Servus restaurant was absolutely top-notch as well. Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to make a reservation by phone for that evening, but we got a table right away at 6:30 PM on a Friday during rush hour. Highly recommended; we'd love to come back.

"Look, there's still space outside, let's get something to eat there." A quick glance through the gate, wow, what the...?! Holy cow, Bohemia! Oh yeah, it's unthinkable what we would have missed if we hadn't delved deeper into the legendary maw of this place. An absolute no-go zone for anyone who refuses to read and has no sense of humor. From the very first glance at the menu, it's as if the illustrator were Monty Python himself. I've never encountered such f... attention to detail and such crazy madness. And I had no idea how many awesome draft beers with various twists and craft abilities are housed there. The staff: I can't remember anyone just playing their "role" or projecting their miserable day onto the guests and crew. Oh man, verve, professionalism, taking all urban aspects into account! Awesome! Oh dear, lost track... what were we actually doing there? Oh yes, eat, eat, eat. Since gustatory perception is based on subjectivity and that's always rather difficult to explain, I'll just offer a few adjectives: Fabulous, unsurpassable, Bohemian (not an adjective, but still accurate), utopian genius, loving, passionate, wow-inducing. At some point, you've eaten and you have to go somewhere. And then you'll be blown away. How the hell do you come up with the idea of ​​installing a bar system as a water and soap dispenser? Oh yes, and by the way, around the corner on the first floor is a children's paradise that Ikea can only dream of. Yes, I'm blown away and I think THIS store is one of the best stores in the world. And if my review seems like "Bohemian villages" to you, you might a) be right in some ways, or b) simply have no clue about emotionally exciting gastronomy.

Very tasty food, short wait times, good value, friendly service. Authentic Bohemian beer. I particularly like the extremely creative language on the menu... and have done so for years.

We eat at Stawi quite often and are always impressed. It's always incredibly cozy, always incredibly delicious, and the service is fantastic. We love the relaxed, informal atmosphere. And the best part is, our dog is always welcome. They even give us a little treat. You can't imagine a more enjoyable meal.

Delicious ice cream, good coffee, and very child-friendly and attentive staff. Super delicious food, lovingly and lovingly decorated, you feel completely at home. We like Freiberger beer, which is why we're in town. We discovered the StaWi, and since we also like Bohemian beer, we stopped in. We're thrilled. We've been regularly visiting my in-laws in Freiberg for 15 years. They kept the existence of this fabulous restaurant a secret from us for just as long. Until today. We haven't eaten this well and this much in a long time, thank you! A wonderful, lovingly designed interior with a great attention to detail, a fantastic, extensive menu, and a fantastic beer selection. A definite must-visit when visiting the Silver City!

The cuisine is heartfelt and freshly prepared. The menu itself is eye-catching and demonstrates a great deal of imagination and creativity (from the naming of the dishes to the explanatory texts).

Anyone who ever comes to Freiberg has to eat there. The taste of the sauce is unbelievable... I've never eaten anything so delicious. Sautéed triplets with cucumbers and much more, delicious, delicious, delicious... coleslaw is just as unbelievably delicious. The "Mega Schnitzel" becomes a supporting character... but? Of course... delicious, delicious, delicious. But beware! If you're really hungry, you'll definitely be full here... but the menu is a challenge... you'll have to bring your time, it takes a while to read. The atmosphere is incredibly interesting... Service a bit gruff at first... but with heart.

I like that you can sit comfortably in the courtyard on warmer days. The staff is extremely friendly, patient, and attentive. The drinks came very quickly, and we didn't have to wait too long for the food. Everything was fresh, well-presented, and incredibly delicious! So far, none of the dishes on the menu have disappointed us. I find some of the menu a bit difficult to read, but that made it quite enjoyable. We'll be happy to come back. (:

I have been here for the first time in 2012 - since then, the service and food quality only decreased :( I am schocked how unfriendly the staff can be!! Even if you dare to make a small critic, like e.g. the soup is too salty, there comes no reply, they'll just ignore you!! There were many downsides from the entrance to the last minute. The only good thing is the atmosphere, yes the outside area is very nice and the toilettes are cool. However, for me these are not enough reasons to set foot again.

I ended up here on a recommendation and absolutely loved it. If you like Bohemian cuisine, beer and culture and are visiting Freiberg, you should definitely stop by here. Even traveling just to see this restaurant would be absolutely worth it. Keep it up. I'll definitely be back with several people.

The Gasthaus Stadtwirtschaft in Freiberg looked so idyllic that I really wanted to eat something there. You are seated and I quickly got a nice table. There are tables inside and outside. Was given very good and patient advice about the type of beer. Food and drink were A1 and so was the service. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll go there again! The different types of beer are phenomenal. And the ambience is special.

Bohemian bistro with lots of taste and pleasant old-fashioned atmosphere. Well-finished and tasty dishes, quick service, fair prices, friendly and welcoming staff (also because the menu is only in German). Don't miss the bathroom: in the men's bathroom the taps on the sinks are beer taps... Wonderful!

The roast pork can be eaten without a knife, it is so tender. Often visited, always good. Fast and friendly service and the top address for Bohemian cuisine. Please keep it level.

The dumplings look and taste like ready-made dumplings. They don't taste bad, but for 20 EUR I expect homemade dumplings. The meat was very rich in rind and slimy fat. Had to cut almost half away. But the service was very friendly.

We were eating in the restaurant and one of the employees didn't seem very friendly. First, when my hand was on the menu, he just jerked it away without saying a word. Secondly, when he brought the drinks he simply threw the coasters at the four of us instead of handing them over properly. All we could do was stare at each other. I don't know if this employee was just rude or what?? . Also, there was no straw for children. Nevertheless, the food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant.

The atmosphere is really great and very lovingly furnished. The starter tasted very good, but our group wasn't so happy with the main course. I don't know if any of the chefs are newly in love, but almost all of the main courses were very oversalted.

Dear city economics team... One thing has to be said: YOU ARE UNBEATABLE, NICE, POLITE, COURTEOUS, COMMITTED & ALWAYS FRIENDLY. This is something that doesn't happen very often these days. Thanks for that! We come from the Spreewald and really enjoy being in Terra Mineralia. Not just once or twice a year, but more often and always, we bring all friends and family members over to you to try this ambience, the excellent food and the good beer. Only one person has NEVER found a tiny point of criticism. You are probably close to being perfect. ;) Just keep it up & we will come back again and again, because even if it seems unreal, even your prices are not out of the ordinary but are totally reasonable. THANK YOU FOR EXISTING.

Fuimos a cenar dos compañeros que estábamos de viaje de trabajo y a los dos dos gustó mucho. Es un local que tiene una decoración algo curiosa y divertida; el servicio perfecto. La carta es variada, y se basa principalmente, en comida checa. Probamos dos platos diferentes (snitzel y carne guisada) y ambos muy buenos, con buen sabor, en cantidad y previo adecuado, Sitio muy recomendable y con buen ambiente.
