Stadtmauer an der Oper in Hannover

Die Stadtmauer an der Oper ist ein sehr schöner und historischer Ort. Sie ist gut erhalten und lädt zum Spazieren und Verweilen ein. Die Atmosphäre ist besonders und die Umgebung ist gepflegt. Ein Besuch lohnt sich.

Ein rundum hervorragendes Erlebnis. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, besonders das Fleischgericht mit Bulgur und Salat – es hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Ein großes Dankeschön an den Mitarbeiter Mohand für seinen freundlichen und professionellen Service. Er war sehr hilfsbereit, herzlich und hat dafür gesorgt, dass unser Besuch besonders angenehm war. Dieses Restaurant ist absolut empfehlenswert und verdient fünf Sterne.

Bedienung genervt , es kann erst ab 15 Euro mit ec Karte bezahlt werden.. müsst Ihr dann auch bitte irgendwie kommunizieren. Echt Mittelalter. Gott sei Dank hatte meine Freundin noch Bargeld dabei. Ich bin froh , dass ich kein Essen bestellt habe , Karte und was letztendlich auf den Tisch kommt sind Welten lt unserer Tischnachbarn.

Es standen 4 Servicekräfte zusammen und waren so miteinander beschäftigt/ quatschen, dass sie uns nicht beachtet haben. Erst als ich zu ihnen ging und fragte, ob es hier Selbstbedienung sei, kam eine zu uns an den Tisch. Sie war sehr kühl in ihrer Art. Ich hatte einen Sonderwünsche, die von der Bedienung aufgenommen wurde, aber von der Küche wohl nicht umgesetzt wurde. Also gab ich das Essen zurück. Beim 2. Versuch waren die Walnüsse schwarz verbrannt. Das Gericht heißt das gesunde Leben....Der Teller ging zurück. 3.Versuch: Es war keine Avocadosoße, es gab keine Avocado und keinen Basilikum, obwohl alle Zutaten explizit auf der Karte stehen. Ich fand im Essen eine Nussschale. Die Bedienung meinte, es könnte auch ich gewesen sein, die sie auf den Teller gelegt hätte. Echt eine Frechheit! Zum Schluss ging das Essen auf Rechnung des Hauses. Außerdem war der Tisch dreckig und das Weinglas war verschmiert. Fazit: Das Lokal werde ich nicht wieder besuchen. Küche schlecht. Service schlecht.Dieses betrifft die Staftmauer hinter der Oper. Das Servicepersonal in Stadtmauer an der Leine ist auch ausbaufähig. Der Laden in der List ist prima.

Die Kellner sind etwas mürrisch und die Preise sind höher als in einem normalen Café, aber insgesamt ist es ein netter Ort.

Um mal einen Kaffee bzw ein Wasser zu trinken ist das Lokal im Sommer durchaus zu empfehlen. Die Lage hinter der Oper ist gut. Der Autoverkehr allerdings leicht störend. Gegessen habe ich nichts, könnte daher auch keine Bewertung hierzu abgeben. Alle Bedienungen waren freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Das Personal ist unmotiviert, unfreundlich, inkompetent.

Ich bestellte einen einfachen Hamburger; das Patty war gut durchgebraten und lecker. Der Laden ist im Vergleich zu anderen Lokalen lebhaft und meistens gut besucht.

Die Location und das Ambiente hinter der Oper sind wirklich schön, auch das Detox-Wasser war hervorragend vorbereitet – frisch, optisch ansprechend und mit allen Zutaten ausgestattet. Genau deshalb ist die Enttäuschung über die Aperitifs umso größer. Die Getränkekarte zeigt und beschreibt sehr aufwendig dekorierte Aperitifs mit Früchten, Minze und passenden Garnituren. Bestellt wurden ein Peach Spritz und ein Malibu Spritz für jeweils 9,50 €. Leider entsprach keines der Getränke auch nur annähernd der Beschreibung oder den Bildern auf der Karte. Beim Peach Spritz befand sich lediglich ein kleines Stück Pfirsich im Glas. Der Malibu Spritz hatte praktisch nichts mit einem Spritz gemeinsam – keinerlei erkennbare Kohlensäure, keine frischen Zutaten, nur ein kleines Stück Ananas am Glasrand. Besonders unverständlich: Beim Detox-Wasser waren alle Früchte, Minze und Zutaten offensichtlich vorhanden. Es lag also nicht daran, dass die Bar nichts mehr da hatte, sondern offenbar daran, dass bei den Aperitifs einfach extrem gespart wurde. Natürlich kann man nachvollziehen, wenn an einem Sonntag einzelne Zutaten knapp werden. Aber dann sollte man entweder die Karte anpassen oder den Gast darauf hinweisen. Hochwertige Bilder und detaillierte Beschreibungen zu präsentieren und anschließend ein völlig lieblos zubereitetes Getränk zu servieren, passt nicht zu einem professionellen Gastronomiekonzept. Für 9,50 € pro Aperitif erwartet man zumindest, dass das Getränk optisch und qualitativ ansatzweise dem entspricht, was auf der Karte beworben wird. Leider war das insgesamt ein kompletter Reinfall.“

Schrecklich!!! Ich habe eine verschimmelt Pizza bekommen und das leider erst zu Hause gemerkt, weil ich Stückchen mitgenommen habe. Im Laden hat die Pizza schon komisch geschmeckt und ich hatte ziemlich Bauchschmerzen danach. Ich habe Versucht, das Restaurant anzuschreiben, aber keine Antwort bekommen. Das Gesundheitsamt muss sich das ganze mal angucken es ist schrecklich!!!

Das Frühstück für 12,90 Euro war leider sehr überschaubar. Die sonst üblichen Körnerbrötchen wurden offenbar eingespart, es gab nur noch helle Brötchen. Insgesamt wirkte das Angebot stark reduziert. Dazu kam leider ein sehr unfreundliches Personal, wodurch man sich als Gast überhaupt nicht willkommen gefühlt hat. Schade, denn so stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis überhaupt nicht mehr.

Der Kaffee ist köstlich. Der Empfang ist herzlich. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Es gibt nicht an jedem Tisch eine Heizung.

Schönes Ambiente, die Auswahl an Speis und Trank könnte gern noch überarbeitet werden. Die Pommes mit Dip waren nicht unbedingt der Hit. Beim Sarti Spritz war nicht viel falsch zu machen. Der Service war aber vollkommen in Ordnung.

War zu Besuch in Hannover und hab dieses tolle Kaffee entdeckt! Es wirklich Klasse. Daher auch die gute Bewertung.

Eine Freundin und ich haben dort heute zu Mittag gegessen. Es war der erste, aber leider auch letzte Besuch dort. Die Lage ist wirklich zentral, das Essen ist ok, aber an der Freundlichkeit von der Bedienung muss noch ordentlich gearbeitet werden. Es gab keine nette Begrüßung. Sie hat sehr abgehetzt gewirkt, obwohl der Laden leer war. Als das Essen serviert wurde, hieß es nur „Nummer 4“. Leider wussten wir damit nicht wirklich etwas anzufangen, weil wir bei der Bestellung der Gerichte nicht nach Nummern bestellt haben. Das Essen wurde daraufhin einfach kommentarlos auf den Tisch gestellt. Einen guten Appetit wurde ebenfalls nicht gewünscht. Auch nach einem weiteren Getränkewunsch wurden wir nicht gefragt. Ich habe tatsächlich noch nie eine so gelangweilte und unfreundliche Servicekraft erlebt. Man merkt deutlich wie ungern sie diesen Job macht, wirklich schade.

War ok, der Service 0 8 15, eher genervt das sie arbeiten müssen als das sie Freude dran hatten. Und dann noch darüber empört sein wenn man kein Bargeld dabei hat weil man mit karte Zahlen will aber kartenzahlung erst ab 15€ geht. Beim Aldi um der Ecke ne Packung Kaugummi für 30cent mit karte bezahlennis kein problem, und hier erst ab 15€. Weil es sich sonst nicht lohnt ? Sorry da spart man am falschen Ende. Also nächstes mal ein anderer Laden. Gibt genug (noch) in Hannover.

Sehr nette Bedienung und gutes, leckere Essen. Für mich war die Musik leider etwas zu laut.

Leider war ich mit meinem Besuch nicht zufrieden. Der Service wirkte sehr hektisch und teilweise unaufmerksam, sodass man sich nicht wirklich gut betreut gefühlt hat. Auch mit dem Essen bzw. insbesondere mit meinem Getränk war ich enttäuscht. Mein Flat White entsprach leider nicht meinen Erwartungen. Insgesamt hatte ich mir deutlich mehr erhofft.

Leider eine enttäuschende Erfahrung. Wir haben 20 Minuten gewartet, nur um überhaupt unsere Getränke bestellen zu können – und das, obwohl der Laden nicht einmal voll war. Die drei Damen im Service wirkten leider mehr mit sich selbst (und ihrem Auftreten) beschäftigt als mit den Gästen. Zudem war der Umgangston sehr unfreundlich. Hier kommen wir nicht noch einmal her.

Ich war gestern dort, bestellte einen Cocktail und rief den Kellner, um ihm zu sagen, dass ich ihn ohne Zucker wollte. Um Missverständnisse zu vermeiden, versuchte ich dem Kellner noch einmal zu erklären, dass ich bereits bestellt hatte und es sich nicht um eine neue Bestellung handelte. Er unterbrach mich jedoch unhöflich und hörte nicht zu. Am Ende bekam ich denselben Cocktail zweimal, einmal mit und einmal ohne Zucker. Auch der andere Kellner, der unsere Getränke brachte, war nicht hilfsbereit und half nicht bei der Lösung des Problems. Natürlich musste ich am Ende einen zusätzlichen Cocktail bezahlen, den ich gar nicht wollte. Ich bin enttäuscht vom unfreundlichen Verhalten der Kellner und ihrer mangelhaften Kommunikation.

Obwohl das Restaurant keinen Wickeltisch für Babys hat, sind die Angestellten freundlich und professionell.

Unfortunately, the music was too loud, making conversation almost impossible, it was far too hot, and the service was slightly overwhelmed by the number of customers.

A nice place to meet up before going to the opera with friends. Each of the three of us ordered a small meal. The drinks were perfectly chilled. The service was a bit rushed but good. The meal, consisting of a burger and a small salad on the side, was good.

The service wasn't very attentive. After 40 minutes, I still hadn't been able to order, even though the place was practically empty and there were three servers milling around. You were completely ignored. The food was delicious last time, but as I said, the waitresses weren't good and chatted a lot instead of doing their jobs, unlike the men. So I left without having ordered anything to eat or drink.

I used to enjoy going there... But now it feels like Tinder in real life... The waitresses are very unfriendly.

Hmm... The location is quite nice, the acoustics tolerable, but... anyone looking for really good food should look elsewhere. The service was very inconsistent (from friendly to rude and cheeky). The dishes didn't give the impression that a trained chef was in the kitchen. (The burger patties were too dry, the steak didn't arrive as ordered. I decided not to try the currywurst with red cabbage and dumplings.) Okay... Appetizer, main course, apple spritzer, and coffee came to a good €50. I've eaten much better for significantly less.

The food at the Stadtmauer restaurant is okay. The selection is good, the food tastes fine, but it's simply overpriced for the quality. The ambiance is actually very nice, but the tables are close together, and when it's full, it's really noisy. But what's absolutely unacceptable is the service. I was there on the weekend and have never in my life experienced such a disinterested and, above all, arrogant waitress. Totally unfriendly, not a single smile, and simply rude. Unbelievable.

DISASTER! The waitress charged us €50 when our bill was only €17 and a few cents. When we pointed this out, she gave us €11 back, even though she should have given us €32. She refused to give us the rest. Then she threw a half-torn €10 note at us and tossed all the money across the table. When I asked if I could get the money back on my card, the answer was: "If YOU want that, go to the bank and have it transferred to your card!" The communication was rude, as if we were garbage! Then the waitress simply walked away and didn't respond to any further questions. The barman Ivan and the waiter Danil are perfect, thank you!

I was there today and I have to praise the chef. The food was excellent.

I work on a construction site right nearby. I always have breakfast there on Saturdays. The scrambled eggs with cappuccino and homemade lemonade are delicious, and there's a good selection of lemonades. Even though I arrived in work clothes, I was served, and everyone was very friendly. I've had different experiences with work clothes elsewhere. I'm already looking forward to tomorrow.

The food was delicious, but expensive. The noise level was very loud.

Unfortunately, our visit wasn't satisfactory. The drinks are served with ice cubes, meaning you don't get the amount you ordered. The burger was corrected after a complaint. The schnitzel with a side dish resembled a fried version that had been reheated. Unfortunately, no action was taken on this criticism. It's a shame, the value for money wasn't satisfactory.

On my last visit, I was extremely disappointed by the service, which I'm not used to here. The waitress was a no-go; you simply shouldn't serve like that. The food was also no longer up to the standard I'm used to at the city wall by the opera. The burger 🍔 was very dry, and the flavor left a lot to be desired. Last Saturday, the two of us went to this restaurant. The sun was shining. We were able to sit outside. The ambiance is very nice. At first, everything was fine. We were able to place our order quickly. After a very short time, the drinks and appetizer arrived. Then, for a very long time, 30-45 minutes, nothing arrived. The drinks were all gone. The plates were empty. When we asked for our food, it finally arrived. Unfortunately, one of the dishes was wrong, but we deliberately didn't complain so as not to wait any longer. The food was delicious. When we were finished, we each wanted an espresso, and then the journey began again. After 20 minutes, we asked for the bill and canceled the coffee. For the first time in my life, I left a restaurant without leaving a tip. What a shame!

The chairs turned out to be quite comfortable, even if you stay seated for a while. The music selection was particularly positive; it perfectly matched the atmosphere and the stylish decor. Shortly before it got dark, a member of staff switched on some floor spotlights, creating a pleasant yet elegant mood. The tables are sturdy, have a suitable height, and offer ample space for the food and drinks served. SERVICE: Overall, the service was very quick and attentive. Our order was taken promptly and served in a short time, even though the restaurant was busy. FOOD: We chose bowls, which were above average in terms of taste. The presentation was very appealing, the flavors harmonized beautifully, and the ingredients seemed fresh and carefully selected. The portion was generous. It's clear that the ingredients were perfectly matched, not only in terms of taste but also in appearance. We chose homemade lemonades to accompany them: one with passion fruit and mint, the other with lemon and coconut. Both were refreshing, balanced, and exceptionally delicious. A huge compliment to the kitchen for the thoughtful dishes and drinks. The menu is diverse and offers something for every taste, making the restaurant appealing to a wide audience. OVERALL IMPRESSION: If you're looking for a stylish ambiance, comfort, and excellent cuisine, this is the place to be. Our visit was thoroughly positive—we'd be happy to return.

The waiters were unfriendly. The wrong drinks were delivered several times and it was pretended to be what was ordered. Luckily, when I asked about it, they eventually came clean.

Located right next to the opera house, this restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere. We got a table quickly and chose the chanterelle menu. There are many great combinations with the seasonal mushrooms. The homemade lemonades were also delicious and refreshing.

I can't say much about the food, as we only had one waffle. The atmosphere was definitely nice, the service was very friendly, and the dog's bowl of water was brought to the table without asking. Oat milk for coffee was also no problem. The service was very attentive; I'll be happy to return.

The drinks and food were okay, but in my opinion, the value for money wasn't right. Unfortunately, the waiters were also extremely unfriendly and bad-tempered. If someone is in a bad mood, it's not a problem, but having three waiters at once is a bit of a problem. With such a lovely ambiance, this really should be reconsidered...

We had breakfast at the Stadtmauer as part of a company event. The first impression was positive and promising. Unfortunately, the service made us wait almost 30 minutes before our two orders were taken. I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich for around 13 euros. The bread was very good and the salmon was average, as it most likely came from a large package. But it was fresh and generously spread on the bread. It also came with a delicious fresh salad as decoration. I had wanted a soda, but it wasn't carbonated. When I complained, there was no apology, and I was given a new drink without comment, along with a slightly annoyed look. The atmosphere was cozy, and it was easy to have a good conversation. Everything was clean, and even the varied decorations on the shelves appeared dust-free at first glance. Suggestion for improvement: Please add the cooking hours to the menu for hot meals or separate the menus.

Yes, definitely. You can go there any time of day and always find something. Even small items. The cake buffet is also good.

We only ordered drinks. Initially, the wrong drink arrived, consisting of two machas and one water. We couldn't return the sealed water bottle after a disagreement, and one of the machas was a pistachio, not a strawberry one. After asking, they simply added strawberry syrup to the pistachio machas and didn't make a new one.

Stopped here for breakfast on Mother's Day. A la carte, but the menu had a good selection! Very friendly and approachable service, and the food was of good quality. We'd love to come back again.

Stadtmauer – nice shop, but there is room for improvement in terms of price-performance ratio The food was really tasty and the atmosphere was great too. The service was friendly and attentive, there was nothing to complain about. However, the portions are rather small, especially considering the price. The drinks were also a bit weakly mixed - you could have expected more given the prices. Overall, a solid visit, but not quite justified in terms of price.

The wine served was corked and therefore inedible, when asked it was said that it had not been corked and when further asked for a new bottle they were told it was the last one, unfortunately very weak. We then left the wine and still had to pay for it.

Dear team, I actually really enjoy being with you and appreciate the atmosphere and the experiences so far. Unfortunately, lately I feel like both service and quality are decreasing with each visit. Especially with the current prices - just under €5 for a coffee and €10 for a bottle of water - as a long-standing, loyal guest you would wish for a little more appreciation and quality of service. I understand that everything is becoming more expensive, but a fair price-performance ratio and respectful treatment of guests should still remain a given. Maybe you can focus on this a little more in the future.

Friendly staff, and the food was served super quickly. We were there on a Friday, and it was almost impossible to have a conversation because the restaurant was so loud (music). We actually had trouble understanding the staff and had to shout to get our order.

Wir waren mit der Familie, zehn Personen dort. Die Qualität der Speise ist unterdurchschnittlich. Die Currywurst mit Pommes war ganz gut. Die Pizza war wohl ein tiefgefrorener Teig mit etwas Trüffeln belegt dafür recht teuer. Manche Tiefkühlpizza ist besser. Man sitzt ganz gut in der Oper, das ist doch das einzige. Es gibt sicher besser, schönere Plätze in Hannover mit besseren Speisen und Getränken und auch besserem Service.

Food was a disaster, meat was very dry, salad didn't taste good, never again

Visit last Saturday evening; Staff really friendly if you actively spoke to them. The food wasn't that good: sweet potato cream soup for €9.50 was a little watery, not very seasoned and only had two shrimps in it. The Aloha Bowl €19 had little salad but too much rice, which was very greasy and heavy on the stomach. Pasta with salmon seasoned with too much lemongrass powder. Overall, the food was poor value for money. Drinks okay. When asked about the food, unfortunately only a relativizing statement was made, although there was a really charming smile. 😉

The best burgers in Hanover are here. The relaxed atmosphere, which is more reminiscent of a mixture of café and bar than snack bar, always fascinates me. I like to come to the city walls with my wife and eat a burger. The waitresses are always very nice and the food comes to the table quickly, despite the “hut being full”. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

The service impresses with its friendliness and attentiveness. The drinks are decent and come surprisingly quickly. Unfortunately very average food. In the case of bowls, the top layer appears relatively fresh if it is not covered by way too much mayonnaise or remoulade-like mush in strips. The lower layer made of e.g. B. rice, quinoa or bulgur, a lot of cheap filling, dominates the dish. The rice is also often oversalted. Anyone who reviews this stuff here as really recommendable has probably never cooked it themselves. It's good that the service really pulls it off. The place is great for a few drinks.

Really well prepared food - you can taste the freshness and professional style of the cooking. Unfortunately for me the portions were a little too small but it wasn't a problem - it doesn't feel like you're starving. The service is great. Extremely polite and friendly staff.

Went here for breakfast on Sunday. Overall a good cafe.

The coffee was quite good. The seating options are quite narrow and therefore a bit uncomfortable.

Breakfast was very tasty, coffee with milk was very good, as was the freshly squeezed orange juice. Service was not convincing. Four waitresses kept standing together inattentive and guests waited for a long time. The ladies preferred to concentrate on themselves. The customer is not king here!

So the food and the bowls are highly recommended. Unfortunately, the interior is a bit used and doesn't make a great impression. Still, you can hardly complain. Recommended

Breakfast: Unfortunately there was no bread/rolls that were gluten-free, but they were still full price. Fried eggs burnt and runny on top. Too bad...
