It was very loud. The lunch menu was very small, which was also reflected in the portions. Unfortunately, the food was only lukewarm. The waitresses were very inattentive. It's a shame; we're used to different and better experiences at other city walls in Hanover.

I ordered a portion of sweet potato fries with aioli and it was delicious. The price clearly reflects the taste, service and ambience. Card payment is possible from €15

Food was a disaster, meat was very dry, salad didn't taste good, never again

Visit last Saturday evening; Staff really friendly if you actively spoke to them. The food wasn't that good: sweet potato cream soup for €9.50 was a little watery, not very seasoned and only had two shrimps in it. The Aloha Bowl €19 had little salad but too much rice, which was very greasy and heavy on the stomach. Pasta with salmon seasoned with too much lemongrass powder. Overall, the food was poor value for money. Drinks okay. When asked about the food, unfortunately only a relativizing statement was made, although there was a really charming smile. 😉

The best burgers in Hanover are here. The relaxed atmosphere, which is more reminiscent of a mixture of café and bar than snack bar, always fascinates me. I like to come to the city walls with my wife and eat a burger. The waitresses are always very nice and the food comes to the table quickly, despite the “hut being full”. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

The service impresses with its friendliness and attentiveness. The drinks are decent and come surprisingly quickly. Unfortunately very average food. In the case of bowls, the top layer appears relatively fresh if it is not covered by way too much mayonnaise or remoulade-like mush in strips. The lower layer made of e.g. B. rice, quinoa or bulgur, a lot of cheap filling, dominates the dish. The rice is also often oversalted. Anyone who reviews this stuff here as really recommendable has probably never cooked it themselves. It's good that the service really pulls it off. The place is great for a few drinks.

Really well prepared food - you can taste the freshness and professional style of the cooking. Unfortunately for me the portions were a little too small but it wasn't a problem - it doesn't feel like you're starving. The service is great. Extremely polite and friendly staff.

Went here for breakfast on Sunday. Overall a good cafe.

The coffee was quite good. The seating options are quite narrow and therefore a bit uncomfortable.

Breakfast was very tasty, coffee with milk was very good, as was the freshly squeezed orange juice. Service was not convincing. Four waitresses kept standing together inattentive and guests waited for a long time. The ladies preferred to concentrate on themselves. The customer is not king here!

So the food and the bowls are highly recommended. Unfortunately, the interior is a bit used and doesn't make a great impression. Still, you can hardly complain. Recommended

Breakfast: Unfortunately there was no bread/rolls that were gluten-free, but they were still full price. Fried eggs burnt and runny on top. Too bad...

..very loud, the waiter girls are actually all top models from Antalya and let everyone feel that they have a higher calling. We didn't eat anything, just wanted to drink a coffee. For us it's just a one-off visit.

Relatively full. The service staff was apparently overwhelmed that day. Ordered large coffee crema with oat milk. I was supposed to get a cappuccino first and then a small coffee crema. Since that seemed to be a challenge for the young lady, I took a small coffee. Then a waffle was forgotten. This is definitely better.

10 min gewartet bis ich überhaupt bestellen konnte. Als ich rein ging um auf Toilette zu gehen, standen alle Kellner/innen drin und haben netten Plausch gehalten. Als ich wieder kam, immer noch keiner draußen. Nach dem ich dann einen Kellner ansprach, sagte er mir, dass er die Kollegin holt. Unfreundlich und unemphatisch. Habe ein doppelten Latte bestellt mit Sojamilch, daraufhin fragte sie drei mal nach was ich denn genau mit Latte meine und meine Milch hat sie auch vertauscht. Mein Latte war witzigerweise kalt. Schade, leider schon öfter die Erfahrung mit unfreundlichem Personal hier gemacht. Essen ist super.

We had a lovely evening, attentive but never intrusive service. Very tasty food, modern, cozy atmosphere. Only the music was sometimes a bit loud for entertainment. Otherwise everything was great👍

Nice atmosphere next to the opera, but closed early in the evening (despite there being enough visitors, we were told that we should pay shortly after receiving the drink because they wanted to close)

Food was ok. I wanted to drink tea afterwards, the cup arrived dirty, as if it had simply been taken from the previous guest and left in front of me uncleaned. I asked for a new glass and came back even dirtier. I couldn't drink it then. The waiter took out the tea, but charged us €10 more than he was supposed to. We would have had to pay €55, but despite all that we rounded up to €60 and he entered €70 into the EC device. They noticed it too late. Unlucky.

You sit very nicely, quietly and yet centrally. Service very friendly. We just had a drink, but it was nice.

Service was really great! Unfortunately we had to complain about one of the meals (meat was overdone and the burger was generally cold), we immediately received an apology and two cappuccinos on top. After paying we saw that both side dishes (the fries, very tasty) were one euro cheaper each. I thought it was a shame that you didn't ask how you wanted the meat for the burger. Next time I'll try a bowl

Heute in der Stadtmauer Oper zur Überbrückung einer Wartezeit einen Aperol Spritz getrunken. Beim Bezahlen wurde mir eröffnet, dass eine Kartenzahlung erst ab 15€ möglich ist. Da kein Bargeld (Hallo, wir haben 2024) musste ich noch ein Wasser zum mitnehmen und zusätzlich 2€ 'spenden'. Wenn ich bedenke, dass ich beim Bäcker mein Brot für 4,30€ mit Karte bezahlen kann bzw. sogar teilweise muss, ist das ein wenig aus der Zeit gefallen. Einen Hinweis auf dem Tisch suchte man übrigens vergebens.

This is the biggest fiasco I experienced at lunch with my daughter! I didn't try the Losier dish, but I ordered a vegan bowl and red sweet potato. Everything was sloppily prepared and thrown on without taste or seasoning. The potatoes were inedible, otherwise it's not the worst thing you can experience! The service is hysterical and uncoordinated, which is reflected in the fact that the waitress dropped a bottle of water on the guests in front of us and didn't even apologize to the elderly couple! To bring us food and forget one part of the cutlery! When we took the first bite, the waitress came and asked hysterically if it was delicious, I answered that because with such a dish I did not expect a mistake to start eating, it was the blandest dish I ordered! My daughter ordered sauce and it was bruca! Sauce it was literally thrown on the table without any taste! The salad is served unwashed without dressing with cold sweet potato! We paid the bill at the exit without a receipt, it was verbally said 50€ and 30 cents! That wasn't the worst thing! The worst was the safe that was installed to play the boss because a good location is not always a recommendation for people to behave and ruin the city! Of course this review will not change anything until you pay people decently and hire decent girls who know how to behave. Greetings boss when you come to work show a little respect to you the employees deserve so much from the guests!

The location in the middle of the city is good, but does that justify the price of €4.50 for a 0.2 cola?? I think this is very overpriced. The wheat beer for €6.10 is also demanding, but still acceptable for 0.5 liters. The fries with ketchup were crispy on the outside and a little too soggy on the inside. All in all, I will not be visiting this store again due to what I believe to be extremely overpriced prices for the non-alcoholic drinks. A pity...

€6.20 for a 0.4 liter cold drink that isn't even chilled. According to the employee, the drinks are not kept cold because otherwise they lose carbon dioxide.

Price-performance ratio can be improved. DJ plays bad music and way too loud. You have to yell at each other to have a reasonable conversation.

The pasta with salmon was good value for money. However, despite the same dish, the portions are different sizes. We were looked after by a young lady with black hair. The lady was super arrogant and unfriendly. In addition, you have to let her be stupid when it comes to paying her. Due to the poor service staff, we will not eat here again and cannot recommend it.

The meat of the hamburgers, although it was evident that it was of good quality, was dry. The burger is good but nothing impressive and less for 14 euros. The sweet potato potatoes were very good, I recommend ordering them with the truffelmayo. The waiters are not very attentive. The place is nice and well located. A place without anything special but not bad either.

Disappointing Service was inattentive and unfriendly, prices were too expensive for the mediocre food and the waiting times for a pizza were too long at 40 minutes.

The food is very carelessly prepared. Ordered a bowl that was 2/3 full of rice. The vegetables were just roughly thrown on top in large pieces, not even cut to bite size. The rice was like porridge and they wanted €19 for it. The burger had no taste, zero! McDonald’s tastes better there. The fries were soggy and came with the wrong sauce. When we asked the waitress about it, she just said “it’s a matter of taste, we can’t help it”. I wanted to celebrate my birthday and was unfortunately very disappointed. I'm never coming here again!! The ambience is nice, but that's it

I was here in November and it was OK. This time was horrible. They don’t know how to make old fashioneds. I returned it twice, which I’ve never done in my life. In a nutshell, it was filled with ice water. It’s as if they have never tried such a drink which they advertise as super premium. The Black waiter was upset with me for asking for a receipt. Before I paid. He was trying to get me to pay without seeing an itemized receipt. Or even showing me the total. Knowing what was probably about to happen, I asked for a copy of the receipt. And I saw the drink that I told them I wouldn’t pay for. I knew it advance what they were trying to do. The waiter actually became upset with me for asking for a copy of the receipt if I knew it was going to be wrong. Imagine that. He said there was no manager available. Sure. When a drink is returned, you don’t wait 15 minutes to replace it either. And you don’t present the original drink 15 minutes after your companion had her coffee and cake delivered. Especially when it isn’t a busy day and lots of employees are standing around. Also, the price they charged me for wasn’t even even the same price that was on the menu. And they charged me for a different drink. The worst dining experience in my German history and I’ve lived here.

The city wall at the opera is a cafe, restaurant and cocktail bar all in one. There is plenty of seating outside with a view of the back of the opera house. We only had one coffee and it was really strong but of good quality. The service ladies, who handed over the card almost at the same time as we sat down, have learned very well not to always look around and so paying took a little longer. The outstanding features of the interior are the path to the toilet, which can be found via a staircase in the basement, and the bar in the entrance area. The bar is really very dominant and stylish, the hallway in front of the toilet is very romantic with lots of greenery. The prices are reasonable for the ambience and you can absorb a little of the energy of this place. My conclusion: A really outstanding place that is worth a visit. Information about my recessions. All the information I write down here is a snapshot and completely subjective. When I visit a place a second time, my assessment may be completely different. If I find something that needs improvement and it has actually been implemented, I will of course also change my review. Please always remain polite. Did you like my recession? Left my phone on the table, went back in 5 mins to get it back, they claimed it is not there. Luckily used find my phone to prove that it is still there and they gave it back to me. I’m not going to comment on the food but if you leave something valuable behind, there is a good chance you will never see it again!

The food and drinks are a bit expensive at the chain, but the price-performance ratio is rather mediocre. The presentation is chic. When it comes to service, you first have to get your attention, but then it happens quickly. The real downside, however, is the volume of the music. I don't want a disco as a venue. Really only bearable with a seat on the edge. You can already hear the shop on the street corner.

Ambience cool/ music good too. But EC card payments only start at 15 euros. Drinks are rather expensive.

The ambience is quite nicely done! Due to its proximity to Kröpcke, it is also a good place to visit this restaurant if you spontaneously want to go out for a drink or something to eat. So far I haven't had any problems getting a free table.

Yes, what can I say, just great! It was the first time there with my daughter, she already knew it, it was clear 😏 But I was thrilled, the food was great, the service was super friendly and accommodating, what more could you want. So when I'm in Hanover again, I'll definitely go there again 👍🏻

Very cozy restaurant centrally located at the back of the State Opera…with very friendly staff. The atmosphere is really cozy, there is also the option to eat outside or just drink a coffee. When it's a little cooler, existing spotlights can help. We had a nice breakfast here...the prices are ok, just typical for such places...it's like that everywhere. But everything was fresh and also sufficient and tasty. We didn't have a reservation, but we still managed to get a spot...but I think it looks a little different in the evening or in the summer. We would love to come back🙂

Incredibly bad food, overpriced and more of a mess than anything else. We once ordered pasta and a bowl. Unfortunately, the pasta was completely cold and the salmon was tough and already old. The staff was absolutely unfriendly and didn't even ask if everything was okay. We also had to request the cutlery separately. All in all, a bad restaurant with overpriced food and drinks.

VORSICHT ALLERGIKER !!!! Auf der Speisekarte, zumindest auf das Gericht die ich bestellt habe, ist ein Allergen nicht gekennzeichnet : Gluten ( Kennzeichen a). Da ich sehr große Unverträglichkeit auf Gluten habe, habe ich die Bedienung extra gefragt ob meine Bestellung : Quinoa Avocado Hähnchen Bowl ( gekennzeichnet mit f,k ) wirklich glutenfrei ist. Sie wollte fragen, sagte sie. Meine Bestellung ist mir ohne weiteres serviert worden, also dachte ich, ich kann es ohne Gefahr essen und ein entspanntes Freitag Abend genießen. Zum Glück habe ich das Lokal zeitig verlassen, denn kaum war ich zu Hause, hat sich Gluten bemerkbar gemacht. Was soll ich noch schreiben.... besetzte Badeszimmer während die fast 3 Stunden die mein Körper benötigt hat das Gift zu beseitigen und ein Samstag mit langsam abklingende Schmerzen.

Nice atmosphere and staff are very friendly!But charging €1,5 extra for oat, soy or lactose free milk is insane. This is so far beyond any extra cost that it’s ridiculous. Please think about the pricing strategy and use it to set some positive nudges! :)

Restaurant an sich ist schön, Bedienung ok,Toiletten sauber, was zum Essen geht dann lieber erst was zu Hause essen dann hin gehen, vorbereitet war relativ schnell, Pizza war klein mit billige Käse drauf, Hamburger klein besser zusammen mit Pommes bestellen

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis top. Für eine Gruppe von 20 Personen war der uns zugewiesene Platz leider etwas zu laut.

Zwischen Weihnachten und Neujahr war es super voll in der Stadt. So auch in der Stadtmauer. Wir bekamen nur mit Glück einen Platz da eine nette Bedienung und hinterher rief, als Gäste gehen wollten. Vielen Dank dafür, denn es war richtig gemütlich und schön bei euch. Der Aperol spritz und der lillet waren sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Von dem Essen hätte ich mehr erwartet. Der Burger war eher langweilig und die Bowl nicht wirklich mein Geschmack. Der Service ist freundlich. Wirkte aber auch nicht sehr ambitioniert. Das Ambiente ist modern aber auch sehr voll und dadurch auch recht laut. Insgesamt war ich von dem Besuch etwas entäuscht

Ich liebe dieses Cafe, doch leider ist das Internat für Gäste im Vergleich zu den meisten anderen Cafe´s in Hannover leider so was unzuverlässig. Geht gar nicht. Sagt Bescheid, wenn ihr das endlich im Griff dann komme ich sofort wieder. Bis dahin Adieu

Das Lokal ist modern und durchaus ansprechend eingerichtet. Das Angebot an (alkoholischen) Getränken, insbesondere Spirituosen, ist riesig. Auch bei den Speisen sollte für jeden etwas dabei sein, dass ist wohl auch das Konzept, dabei ist das Resultat dann aber auch nur Durchschnitt und nichts wirklich herauszuheben. Burger, Pizza, Pasta, Currywurst, Bowls, Salate… Vielleicht sollten man sich lieber auf 2-3 dieser Dinge fokussieren und sich darin von ähnlichen Lokalen in der Umgebung abheben.
