It was our first time at the Stadtgrill in Bad Oldesloe and we tried a cheeseburger, a hamburger and a chicken burger. The waiting time was absolutely fine; despite the crowds, my order was taken quickly and friendly and the food was ready quickly. The cheeseburger was juicy and well seasoned, the meat tasted fresh and not like it came from the freezer. The hamburger was classic but delicious - sometimes less is more. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the chicken burger: crispy chicken fillet, tender meat and a pleasantly spicy sauce. The bun wasn't limp either, but rather lightly toasted and sturdy so that nothing fell apart. The portions are fair for the price, and the price-performance ratio is generally really good. The employees were friendly and also implemented special requests (without tomatoes) without any problems. The place looks well maintained, clean and organized. Seating options are simple, but completely sufficient for a quick snack. Overall, a down-to-earth snack bar with honest food and nice service. I'll definitely come back when I'm in the mood for a good burger, clear recommendation for anyone in the area!

The Stadt Grill restaurant offers good quality food and the staff is always friendly and professional. However, what is noticeable every time is that no napkins are provided on the tables or with the food. That's a bit uncomfortable. I hope this point will be improved in the future because overall it is a recommended restaurant.

Had dinner there for the first time today. Schnitzel with fries. Mega tasty and large portion. I will definitely eat something there again. Staff was also very nice.

The city grill in Bad Oldesloe, an institution for many years. Located in the city center with good parking around the corner and within walking distance at the end of the pedestrian zone. The food has been at the same good level for many years. Yes, it's a snack bar/grill, but it's very special and tasty. Home cooking, daily specials, croque... everything delicious. Especially the burgers. Simple but delicious. You can also eat well on site. Lots of space with lots of gates. tables. The service is always nice and friendly and on the ball. We have been coming for years and will continue to visit the grill in the future.

City grill is delicious as always, service is always in a good mood and friendly. The city grill simply belongs to Oldesloe.

Great grill with really good products at top prices

The city grill is absolutely recommended. We ate a grill plate and schnitzel with fried potatoes there. Both meals tasted great and the fried potatoes were a hit. The service is very nice and quick. You don't have to wait long for the food either.

Chicken schnitzel (finished pressed part max. 100g for €6.90 SauceHollandaise 30g for €3.20 Kobi bread and the croquettes were the only things that were edible.

I've been a customer of the Stadtgrill since it's been around and was there when the pinball machines and playground equipment were still there in the early years. After so many years, the city grill is still great. The food is always delicious and the burgers still taste like they did almost 30 years ago. You are always greeted nicely. I had gyros with fries and was personally a bit disappointed. In my opinion, the gyros were a bit dry and the fries were a bit salty. It was okay, but in my opinion there are better gyros in Bad Oldesloe

As a resident of Oldeslo you simply have to know this snack bar. Almost everything on the menu can be recommended. It's tasted great here for decades. Employees are always warm. There is a daily changing lunch menu. The burgers are real icons here. Price-performance is right. If you particularly like the burger sauce, here's a tip: you can also order it with the fries. Would like to be able to give more points.

Ungenießbar, sowohl der Croque Monsieur, als auch die Reibekuchen mit Apfelmus. Magenprobleme nach 2 Bissen am nächsten Morgen inklusive. Der angebliche Croque bestand anstatt original aus zwei getoasteten Weißbrotscheiben aus einem getoasteten Baguette, das in einer pampigen Soße ertrank, gekrönt von Kunstkäse auf einer Salatgarnitur (mitgetoastet). Die „Reibekuchen“ waren 3 hauchdünne, offensichtlich aus einer Kartoffelmehlmasse kreisrund ausgestochene Scheiben. Einzig das aus dem Glas stammende Apfelmus wäre genießbar gewesen. Das einzig Positive: auf unsere Frage „würden SIE das essen?“ gab die Kellnerin zwar keine Antwort, aber immerhin mussten wir nichts dafür bezahlen.

The currywurst wasn't as good as usual or before. The fries were mostly okay, although there were a lot of small fragments. The curry sauce was too thin, a bit bland and not enough. This time it was unnecessary for us to need it.

All dishes are consistently good quality and tasty. The soft drinks on tap with very little carbonation. But it has always been that way. Service very attentive and really very friendly. Very nice outside area to sit. Rustic interior. All clean. Sanitary area smells unpleasant even after the renovation. But that is certainly due to the ancient building and not the operators. We remain regular customers. Update 3/25/24: Prices increased considerably. 3 persons. 3 x fries. 3 x different quantities. Sorry, but almost €40 for 3 normal snack meals and 2 non-carbonated drinks is no longer reasonable for me. In addition, there was a strong smell of urine at the top of the stairs to the toilets. That was it for us. Good luck!
