We recently had breakfast at this restaurant and were absolutely delighted. The food was delicious and varied, but the outstanding service truly stood out. We were there with our baby and were treated incredibly well from the very beginning. Without us even having to ask, they offered to warm up the baby food and provided a highchair. We always felt that they were truly thinking ahead and that families were genuinely welcome. The service was attentive, friendly, and pleasantly unobtrusive. It was precisely these small, thoughtful gestures that made our visit so relaxing and enjoyable. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

i live in portugal , i came germany on Christmas, than i went there with my son for lunch , the staff is so polite and they speak english and a litle portuguese too which makes us easy to explain what we want and the food taste fresh and good quality and rich in taste. according to me its a perfect place for a family dinner.

We were regular customers for a long time and really appreciated the restaurant. Unfortunately, since the change of ownership, quite a few things have changed – and sadly, not for the better. We find the change to the children's menu particularly disappointing. The healthier options for children that were previously offered are no longer available. Instead, the selection now consists almost exclusively of classic fast food like nuggets and the like. This unfortunately no longer reflects what we loved about this restaurant. Combined with the now rather high prices, the value for money is no longer acceptable to us. The service has also declined. While you can tell they're trying, it's no longer at the level we used to expect from this restaurant. We find this development very disappointing, as we used to feel like regulars and always enjoyed coming here. Currently, it's sadly not the restaurant it once was. We hope that some of the former quality and focus will return in the future.

Three orders were served incorrectly. The bread for the soup and the bruschetta bread was extremely hard (2-3 days old). The tomato soup tasted like canned tomatoes. The bruschetta was just sliced ​​tomatoes on bread. The meat was okay, but not cooked well. The toast was hard. The turkey steak was extremely dry. The baked potato was still hard inside. The food was not tasty at all. The service was also poor. For that price, I expected something different. Never again. One star is unfortunately too much.

The lunch menu is the only one I can really recommend; the kitchen is also very inflexible when it comes to children's meals. It used to be much better.

Very friendly staff. Great atmosphere. We really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, with something for everyone. Fresh ingredients. The vegetables, in particular, were incredibly fresh. We'll definitely be back. And hopefully, we'll still have room for the desserts! ;)

The four of us ate here today. The menu is a great mix, ranging from traditional German fare to Indian butter chicken. We had hummus, antipasti, turkey steak, burgers, a fish platter, a quinoa bowl, a dessert plate, and apple strudel. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. The atmosphere is wonderful; you really feel like you're sitting in a greenhouse. We enjoyed it very much and will definitely come back.

Disappointing after the change of management: The previously unique dishes like crispy chicken or spicy pork are gone, along with the individuality of the once truly excellent chef. Instead, we now have unspectacular convenience food like in other restaurants. Would you drive all the way to Oldesloe just for the still-nice ambiance? - Not really if the food isn't up to scratch.

Really cozy place. Delicious food and also space for the kids. There is a small playground out front, which is open to the parking lot, and also a play corner inside. There are cards, dice and drawing materials for the slightly older children.

New owners seem to have taken over the restaurant. The ambiance remains the same, but the menu has changed; it's not as tasty. A schnitzel with fries—well, for that price, I don't need to drive to OD anymore. My wife's dish was too salty. When we mentioned it, there was no reaction... That's why we went there from Hamburg 🤔

No longer recommended Waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for the food Two people sat at a table next to a group of 15... very inconvenient, you couldn't even hear what was being said. Flammkuchen was dry and more like frozen food. Steak was unfortunately raw and never 250g, more like 180g. Croquettes were greasy and soft, and the bread was hard. Service couldn't understand why there was no tip... In short, we definitely won't be coming back. It's a shame, it used to be a really good place.

We were there in a group of 10 people. The selection was okay and sufficient. The items you can order from the kitchen are something else entirely, but unfortunately, some of them take a very, very long time to arrive. Some items weren't particularly tasty either... for example, the spare ribs were served without marinade or BBQ sauce. The dessert, however, was completely convincing. All in all, a solid brunch, with a B rating.

The burgers are actually really good (fresh lettuce, tomato, pickled onions, delicious burger sauce, guacamole...), but the beef patties are really not that good. We expected better. The pan was quite good, but I felt there was a bit less variety in the vegetables.

We recently visited for the first time since the change of management. We only discovered this after looking at the menu (the excellent Wiener Schnitzel, among other things, was gone) and doing some research. My ordered dish was supposed to be served with a salad. This consisted of two lettuce leaves and a halved cherry tomato. The portion of fried potatoes was also a bit smaller in my opinion. The overall taste was good. Furthermore, the relatively inattentive service was noticeable. We're looking for alternatives in the region. Overall, only 3 out of 5 stars.

We went there almost every weekend before the change of ownership. This was our last time there. Unfortunately, nothing is the same as it used to be. All of our beloved dishes have been removed from the menu, and the service is also very poor. The new owners are nice and are certainly doing their best, but maintaining such a high standard is certainly not easy. The prices have remained the same, and the service and food simply don't justify it anymore. The food is okay, but for the price, I simply expect something different, just like it was before. The service is a bit disorganized and seems to quickly become overwhelmed with so few guests. What a shame! We always enjoyed coming here.

We had penne with prawns for €26 and a burger for just under €20. You can't say it was bad, but unfortunately, the price wasn't worth it at all. I have no idea if the owners have just changed hands, but somehow our expectations of the quality of the food were different, especially given the higher prices. It's a shame.

As a new resident of Bad Oldesloe, I've driven past this restaurant a few times and now stopped in for lunch with my friend. We were surprised by the overall ambiance and received very quick and friendly service. The food (2 pike-perch, 1 salmon) arrived after a reasonable wait and was delicious, beautifully presented, and freshly prepared. We were thoroughly satisfied, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this very special restaurant.

We used to go there often and enjoyed it, but we won't be coming back.

I recently went there for dinner again after a long break. To my great surprise, I discovered that with the change of ownership, my beloved grilled knuckle had also disappeared from the menu. My alternative meal was very tasty, but unfortunately the portions were quite small. I think that for a price of almost €30, you should at least be full. At the end of my last visit, I wanted to return the packaging for the takeaway dishes. Unfortunately, this was no longer possible due to the change of ownership (so you are stuck with the €10 deposit). The atmosphere is, as usual, very nice and cozy. Unfortunately, this was my last visit for a while. I used to love going there regularly. What a shame!

The food is good and the restaurant is nice. We've been there several times, but this was the first time with a small group (20 people). The service was a bit overwhelmed. The drinks were taken quickly, the food took what felt like an eternity, and then it took another long time for us to place our food order. The food also took a long time to arrive. From arrival to payment, over three hours passed, which is too long.

I was there over the weekend and tried the salmon, which was simply fantastic! Perfectly cooked, superbly seasoned, and beautifully presented. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!

Good service, good schnitzel, cozy place!

First of all: Sitting outside is absolutely lovely, especially in the evening sun. Drinks and starters arrived relatively quickly. However, we had to wait almost 75 minutes for the main course. As an apology, we were promised bread to snack on. What we got: four slices of baguette for seven people. The food ranged from very good to okay to boring. The adult schnitzel was only slightly larger than the children's schnitzel, but twice as expensive. The service was friendly and always attentive; the extremely long wait was first explained to us as a system error, then as understaffing.

I've always enjoyed visiting the Glashaus in Bad Oldesloe, so I was all the more excited about the changes brought about by the new owners. The transition couldn't have gone better. The familiar charm, quality, and warmth have remained, and that's precisely what is so impressive. You can tell that professionals are at work here, continuing with sensitivity and respect what guests appreciate about the Glashaus. At the same time, they're bringing a breath of fresh air without changing the atmosphere. I'm very much looking forward to many more visits and wish the new team continued success! A true stroke of luck for Bad Oldesloe.
