The new tenants are slowly getting the hang of things. Despite the large number of visitors, the service is quick because the service is variable (one or two open tills) and the quick Sven at the tap. Farmer's flat cakes and beer garden pretzels were very good, but they also cost a lot. We had a very pleasant evening. A little tip: wipe the tables more often! Addendum: On Saturday September 7th, 2024 we went to dinner in the beer garden at 2:30 p.m. Lo and behold: only open from 4 p.m. today. But on the internet at 2 p.m.???

Great words from the chefs in the menu, everything fresh and homemade. Ha ha ha Frozen schnitzel cooked to death, potato salad from the bucket, salad mix from the supermarket already partially brown, chicken leg only breading, indefinable, etc., etc. Huge menu of 40% of which was not there at half past five. Sometimes less is more. But very expensive and complaints are not accepted by the “head chef”. Without words. And self-service prices. The bosses should go to Bavaria and look at a good beer garden and learn from it!!!

We have been there several times in the last 2 years. The last time was on Monday. Every time it got worse and more expensive and the portions got smaller. On Monday the summit, fried chicken from the leg, it was just indefinable crumbled breading. I complained to the chef. Answer, it has to be that way. Pull pork burger with coleslaw that was missing. When asked that it was on the burger, it wasn't and that's not what it says on the menu. The big words of the bosses in the card should also be followed by actions and not rip-offs. Maybe go to Bavaria and look at a good beer garden and learn. Take the chef with you!!!

So the best thing about the beer garden is the ambience... the food is totally bland to pick up at the counter... nothing special in terms of taste since everything comes from the frozen food store. Plus it's way too expensive!! Seriously, live and let live but for this quality it's usury!!! We definitely won't be coming back and won't recommend it to anyone else.

The beer garden actually has everything you need, but somehow the atmosphere is still not like that of a Bavarian beer garden. The staff does their job, but that's about it. Everything is somehow mechanical, in my opinion. Maybe it's better in the evening.

Fries are really okay, prices are quite expensive for self-service and frozen goods. The staff at the checkout wasn't really friendly, rather indifferent. The location of the beer garden is great, super central and there is a small playground for children.

I was very disappointed with my visit to the Schorndorf city beer garden today. Cashier was very unprofessional, didn't know his own menu and obviously had problems with his cash register system The food was also unprofessional I had the Swabian Russian egg which turned out to be a loveless pile of potato salad of mediocre quality with a few scraps of eggs and slices of supermarket sausage carelessly placed on top, no fresh herbs, no love, no soul. I was more than disappointed with this dish And as has already been mentioned and photographed by several people The schnitzel and spaetzle that are presented to the customers there for expensive money are a disgrace for a Swabian business. As an operator, I would be ashamed to charge so much money for these industrially manufactured wholesale market products and then charge the customers a lot more for watery sauce, mayo and ketchup to reach into your wallet

The food tastes good but the portions are far too small. My portion of cheese spaetzle was smaller than the children's portion of spaetzle with sauce. I found that almost cheeky. Of course, it’s far too expensive for that. The Kaiserschmarrn was also more. The waiting time for food was clearly too long. It was significantly better with the previous owner. Too bad.

Quite ok, food is so-so. Schnitzel was not prepared, potato salad tasted like a bucket, spaetzle still tasted quite doughy. Everything is very expensive! Plus self-service. It's ok to have a quick (expensive) beer, but not recommended as a destination.

The checkout operator interrupts you in the middle of placing your order and simply says "then do xy" even though I hadn't finished ordering yet. No reaction, just a dull look. The waitress at the drinks desk chats for ages with the person in front of you and then calls you over his shoulder in an unfriendly manner by waving his arm and saying "yes, let's go". And the buzzer for ordering food had an empty battery - after waiting for over 30 minutes, I checked at the counter and lo and behold: the food was long and cold. The benches on the gravel area next to the “bar” are extremely crooked, so you literally lie down while eating. All in all: oh well. Location quite good, food delicious, ambience nothing special and service below all standards.

Cozy beer garden with a large selection of food and drinks. I like it very much, as there is also enough parking space - would be happy again...

We love the selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. I have never found such a great menu in any other beer garden. We eat there regularly and have never been disappointed. Thanks and keep it up .

Great beer garden. There is a large selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. The child enjoyed the currywurst with sauce and rolls. There is a small playground, children are busy. The oven vegetables (not frozen, fresh!!) with hummus and falaffel were good, really a great selection for vegans. Unfortunately, the man's schnitzel was frozen convenience goods. The general public probably likes it.

We were in the beer garden once. Very good draft wheat beer. Schnitzel with spaetzle was good but the spaetzle was only lukewarm. Overall everything was okay for a beer garden.

Good for drinking. Very fast (self-)service at the counter. The food is ok, but neither the portion size nor the quality are impressive. At least there is some choice. The organization appears to have improved dramatically compared to previous years. Plenty of seating in the shade.

First the positive, the atmosphere is nice, the tables are always clean and there is often live entertainment or something similar. But now to the negative. I can forgive the fact that the wide selection also includes convenience products from the frozen food store *cough schnitzel cough*. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio doesn't match, but that's also the case in other beer gardens. But so far the BBQ offerings have always been fresh from the grill and really tasty. However, the spare ribs we got this Sunday lunchtime were more than just disappointing. Dark brown to black, hardly any meat between the bones and it's totally tough and even though half the plate consisted of dip and mayo it was still far too dry. Plus the price... When I asked, I was told that they would only be reheated and that was standard practice.

Food was good and not overpriced. It was also appetizingly prepared. You can order and pay via your mobile phone or pay with a bank card or cash at the checkout. You pick up food at the counter. Staff was friendly. Everything was clean. It's nice to sit under the trees. There is a small playground for the children. Toilet not tested. The audience seems to be mainly adults aged 30 and over. You can also park nearby. Been there a few times.

Extraordinarily delicious dishes at fair prices

Some vegetarian and vegan dishes are something that some beer gardens can learn a lesson from.

Self-service at lunchtime is no problem, Price doesn't match quality e.g. An extra euro for a stretched sauce, almost water, is quite audacious. I'm happy to pay more, but the quality has to be right. Staff seemed listless at the time.

The beer garden is for people who are omnivores and have no demands on the food at all. Not recommended. Owners are only interested in rip-offs and not in quality

Nice beer garden and large portions. The price is a bit higher, but the quality is good. Hearty beer garden food, also various snack plates available. Planned events take place regularly (DJ, band, etc.). Otherwise nice surroundings and ambience, there are also enough parking spaces. Chairs etc. a bit "uncomfortable" but otherwise great!

We ordered schnitzel with fries and spare ribs. The schnitzel was soaked in fat and didn't taste good at all! Not to mention the spare ribs... They were by far the worst spare ribs I've ever eaten! You really could have saved yourself the money!

What almost everyone regrets is that you have to get everything yourself for this price range. Service would be appropriate.

The taste is definitely okay. Particularly good with children, as the swings etc. are clearly visible. So 2x schnitzel with fries, 2x fries, 3x apple spritzer and 1x beer for €63 we think is pretty steep for a beer garden.

Good quality for a beer garden, including in the drinks area. Opening hours change daily. The on-site offering doesn't always match the homepage; we missed a Göggele, for example. Waiting time very short. Quality of the tables is poor (extreme splinters, see photo, can be very painful and infectious), chairs are not upholstered and have an indefinable viscous liquid (paint?), the pants need to be completely cleaned), good division between sunny and shady, conclusion: I'll be happy again .

We went to the beer garden with friends. They finally got their food after over 2(!) hours. Our food must have been forgotten. We left hungry.

Essen war so lala, relativ wenig. Preise nicht angemessen! Billige Zutaten. Z. B. Currywurst ist eine mit Wasser aufgeschwemmte nach nichts schmeckende matschige Stange. War alles schon öfters so. Eine Freundin hatte bei einem gemeinsamen Besuch den Chef zur Mitarbeiterin sagen hören, dass zu viel Kartoffelsalat auf den Teller sei, sie solle weniger drauf machen. "Clever", Boss, das direkt vor einer Kundin zu sagen... Bestellsystem online inklusive Zahlung über PayPal ist eine super Sache, dass gefällt mir. Ungut jedoch, wenn das gewünschte Produkt (bei mir ein bestimmtes Bier) nicht vorrätig ist und man nicht Bescheid bekommt. Nach langer Trockenzeit bin ich also eigenständig zur Theke und habe diese Info bekommen. Wäre ich nicht aufgestanden, hätte ich bis Feierabend auf meine Abholinfo auf dem Handy warten können. Dieser Biergarten ist nichts besonderes und definitiv kein Abstecher wert. Am besten sollte man mit vollem Bauch hin gehen, um nicht das billige Essen für teures Geld essen zu müssen. Getränke sind in Ordnung, aber beim Zapfen eines Bieres kann man weniger falsch machen.

Sehr gemütliche Location. Das Wetter war heute zwar schlecht , aber die Brezel mit ällem war wirklich lecker!

Netter Biergarten mit unterschiedlichen Stühlen und Bänken sowie genügend Sonnenschirmen. Die Bäume sind noch am werden. Essen ist gut portioniert und schmackhaft, wie man es im Biergarten erwartet. Verkehrsgünstig in Stadt- und Bahnhofsnähe. Angenehmes Publikum.

Der Biergarten ist umständlich zu erreichen. Selbstbedienung klappt. Toiletten sind sauber. Für einen Freitagabend und bestem Wetter war's erstaunlich leer. Bemerkenswert finde ich, dass auch ein Spielplatz zu Verfügung steht. Rutsche und Schaukel. Werde wieder kommen.

Praktisch mit Kindern, weil kleiner Spielplatz. Essen war allerdings nicht so prall. Kartoffelsalat war kalt (geht gar nicht als Schwabe)und auch nicht schmackhaft, Frikadelle und Maultasche waren nicht lecker. Der Fisch war gut (Tagesessen)

Ofengemüse OK, Bratwurst auch, aber Kartoffelsalat aus dem Eimer ..... eigentlich genügt das nicht dem in der Speisekarte selbst formulierten Anspruch

Leider war das Personal teilweise unfreundlich...und eigentlich gibt's hier ja super Bier vom Fass...Meckatzer....aber es war nicht so kalt wie man es sich bei 33 Grad wünscht.

Ein toller Biergarten....und wie der Name schon sagt, in der Stadt. Tolles Angebot an Essen und Getränken. Donnerstags Livemusik. Kinderspielbereich....wirklich ein Erlebnis für die ganze Familie

Das Essen war leider qualitativ minderwertig. Fasriges Schnitzel, fertig Kartoffelsalat, der Wurstsalat geschmacksneutral, schade wir hatten mehr erwartet nachdem laut Homepage viel „selbstgemacht“ wird. Ambiente ist schön und man kann gemütlich sitzen.

Ich finde den Biergarten immer noch sehr schön. Am Essen ist noch Luft nach oben was die Qualität betrifft. Gestern bin ich etwas erschrocken wegen der Bierpreise. 4.60 € für ne Halbe ist heftig auch wenns Mekazer ist.. Da ich eine sehr durstig Frau habe, müssen wir zu Hause schon vorglühen

Nach den vergangenen regnerische Wochen warn wir am ersten warmen Abend im Biergarten. Das Essen und die Getränke waren tüpisch und gut, es gab Live-Musik. Es war ein gemütlicher schöner Abend

Waren letzten Freitag Nachmittag mit 4 Leuten dort. Herrliches Ambiente, gechillte Atmosphäre. Service an der Theke war freundlich und prompt. Zum Essen - ich hatte Leberkäse mit Kartoffelsalat + Briegel. Den Klecks Blattsalat dürft ihr gerne weglassen und dafür mehr Kartoffelsalat. SEHR LOBENS- UND ERWÄHNENSWERT IST --> es gibt superleckeren Irish Cider und hier kommen auch Veganer auf ihre Kosten. 👍👍👍
