We were here for the first but not the last time. The food was very tasty and fresh. The service was very courteous and hospitality is very important here. Absolute recommendation... Something different :)

Despite making an early reservation, four of us couldn't get a seat after waiting for over half an hour. Staff totally unfriendly, no information, no offer of a drink. Unfortunately it wasn't just us, two couples waited in vain despite reservations. However, the look into the kitchen was exciting: clean is different. No recommendation.

We ate there for the first time with the family a few months ago. We really enjoyed it. Now I wanted to organize my son's birthday and we wanted to redeem four gourmet blocks with four coupons and four additional digital coupons for 16 people. The boss then said he wouldn't do that. It wouldn't be financially worthwhile for him. I then contacted the Schlemmerblock and they said over the phone that it could be done of course, as the Schlemmerblocks are designed for exactly that. No matter how many gourmet blocks you have. The provider would advertise it specifically. So I wrote to the owner again and said that he had offered himself up for it in the Schlemmerblock. And that he suddenly can't claim that he can't do that because it's not worth it for him. He himself decided to get hired for the Schlemmerblock. He said that he decides whether he accepts the gourmet block or not. and that from December 2024 onwards it will no longer be for the 2025 gourmet block. I cannot understand why the legal basis was not adhered to here. Of course I found another provider without a gourmet block who put together some nice grill plates for me. Because I didn't see the point of giving my money to someone like him and this restaurant. If the provider believes this is fictitious. I still have the whole story with me.

Something different, tastes very good. Unfortunately, the cold starter plate advertised on the menu for the grill mix plate was only a well-dressed iceberg lettuce, garnished with cucumber slices and peppers, with 4 dips and bread. In addition, the main course was only brought about 3 minutes after the "starter platter" and the meat got cold before we could start eating it. The young lady from the service was totally overwhelmed, the waiter was friendly and competent. The price is okay, the portion sizes are very good. Only the "artificial flower decorations" that run through the entire, otherwise very modern restaurant take some getting used to.

Unfortunately, the meat in my lamb skewer was not edible, it only consisted of fat and cartilage. I complained about it, all I got was "I'll pass it on to the chef..." but then nothing came. I would have liked at least a little compensation or feedback. The rest of the food was ok.

We spontaneously went here for dinner today and I can only say it's highly recommended. The food was excellent, large portions, friendly, attentive service and food allergies were also taken into account. We haven't had such a tasty meal in a long time, thank you very much, we will definitely come back.

It was our first time in this restaurant and the whole family was thrilled by the delicious food. Something completely different and you get the feeling that the food here is very authentic. Food was good, sometimes a different taste. Were there on Tuesday evening. On this day there was a birthday party with only men and therefore very, very loud.

Mega good food, great service and location 👌🏼 we can only recommend it - eggplant - tabbouleh - grill plate - dessert. Eat whatever you want, you can't go wrong.

The restaurant offers excellent traditional and authentic Syrian food. The atmosphere is simply wonderful and immediately transports you to Syria. The service is excellent and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. A small point of criticism is the slightly higher prices, but overall I can absolutely recommend this restaurant!

The staff in the restaurant was unfortunately not professional, but friendly. The food was very tasty. But ATTENTION our visit almost ended with an emergency doctor being called in! The two of us were eating, my girlfriend has a nut allergy. For this reason we ordered all of our food (starter plates) without nuts. However, there was half a walnut in one of the vine leaves, luckily only in the vine leaf that I had taken. If my friend had caught this grape leaf, it could have been fatal. The waiter's statement was... She would have said it specifically in the kitchen and mistakes happen... We would have at least wanted a serious reaction and perhaps a conversation with the kitchen staff! Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was very disappointing.

The food is actually really tasty, but unfortunately it gets worse with each visit. Allergies, such as nuts, are ignored in the kitchen despite requests. Vegan plate repeated with meat and cheese dishes instead of the things on the menu. Products like pistachios are swapped for almonds without mention. When you ask to have dishes packed, half of them are forgotten. The service is very inconsistent, depending on who is there, you wait forever to order, eat and pay. Some waiters don't even know the menu and have to look at the menu to see what you want every time you order, even the drinks. It's a shame because these are all things that can be easily fixed.

The XoXo has changed locations. Now much nicer and brighter. Also a lot more space to sit outside. The food is still top and incredibly tasty. If you want to try Syrian specialties, this is the place for you. The mixed cold appetizer platter is really fresh and delicious. Syrian bread is served with it. I like to eat here from time to time. Every time I visit Frankenthal I eat a little something here. This is the right place for anyone who likes Syrian specialties or starters. At the end you always get a little something on the house. Usually always a great little dessert. The owners and staff are really super nice and attentive.

We had dinner there after a concert and it was absolutely the right choice. There really is something for everyone in this restaurant, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. We have already ordered several times. The first time via Lieferando. Delivery came quickly, quality was top, taste was great and there was plenty. The price was justified and OK for us. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the next deliveries. We ordered via WhatsApp and already calculated the total amount according to the menu on the homepage. We had to pay €6 more and didn't get an invoice. Further orders are therefore only placed via Lieferando. However, it wasn't as plentiful anymore. Okay, hidden price increase... Everyone has to see where they are, not great but no big deal. When we last ordered via Lieferando, the portions were slightly smaller and were not delivered in full. Among other things, we ordered hummus for €6.90 and according to the description, cold starters are served with flatbread. (See photo). We didn't receive the flatbread. When we asked by phone, we were told that the flatbread was not included and had to be ordered separately. I pointed out to the employee that this is how it is described and that you have to deliver it that way, otherwise it is misleading and a rip-off. I was then told that Lieferando was writing something. But no, that's what the owner/employee of the restaurant wrote. Because of the complaint, two portions of flatbread were quickly delivered to us. Otherwise, the employees and drivers were always very friendly.

I ordered shawarma and it really had nothing to do with it. Worst shawarma I've ever ordered. I was unsure when I ordered because it cost over €10 (shawarma usually costs €4-8) and I miss shawarma in ft. Unfortunately, complete dirt really has nothing to do with shawarma. I should have eaten hard-boiled eggs at home, that would have been better for me Edit: yes, that was from you through Lieferando. I ordered it once and it's still haunting me. It wasn't specifically the potatoes but the extremely high price and the way the ingredients were used - it was just bad. Zero crispy, zero juicy, just a flabby wrap from the supermarket and the ingredients carelessly slapped in. I'm just being honest, I'm just sorry for my wallet...

It was amazing, we were visiting town for the first time and stopped by to have lunch. The food was amazing, had shawarma, crunchy chicken sticks, nuggets and fries. The salad with the meal was fresh, overall super delicious food. Their spices are an ultimate joy when combined well. I'd recommend this place to anyone who passes through here.

It was very disappointing as it only consisted of four skewers 1 hand, 1 lamb and 2 minced meat a small salad and starter. I won't order again. I expect for 2 people double the price. If you order the 35 from the menu (see picture) you get cheap sliced ​​almonds instead of pine nuts and walnuts, which is unfortunately not possible. The menu is spruced up with expensive ingredients and you have to pay the price of the expensive ingredients, but then you get cheap sliced ​​almonds - unfortunately a no go and no longer worth another visit, Halawa El jibn was also bland with little syrup and no pistachios on top served (see picture)

We would have liked to have dinner on Friday, even if the place directly in front of the restaurant didn't seem very inviting and we were greeted with the words that they wouldn't have time to serve us for the next 15 minutes... When we were also given the hint that our gourmet block was not valid on the weekend (unfortunately that is not stated anywhere) we moved on, there are plenty of alternatives in Frankenthal that are happy to have customers.

Yesterday we had a wedding reception in the restaurant with around 40 people, I have never experienced such good service. The food was awesome. All the staff were so hard working. Nothing was missing, I'm over the moon. Thanks to each and every one. Only recommended.

Went there spontaneously and were served very friendly. I personally can recommend the Fattoush, and I also tried the Aleppo Cherry Kebap as I had never heard of it before. A sweet, almost Christmas-like dish, very tasty and the taste is somewhat reminiscent of mulled wine. Great restaurant to try out the menu as the dishes are very different!

The many positive reviews (are they all real?) and the preference for oriental food brought us to XoXo. The greeting from a lady was very cautious and a young man “threw” the menus onto us without greeting us. He then continued to set the empty tables and we waited, and waited... by the way, you should know that you grab cutlery by the handle and not by the tines or the tips of the knives. The passion fruit juice spritzer that was served initially looked very promising, but turned out to be very thin. About the food: The worst “Batata harra” I was ever served. “Insinuated” might be okay. been... that was food for small children, without spice, without oriental taste. You could look for the coriander and all the other typical spices too. A slightly better tomato sauce, nothing more. Hummus also boring. The cooked “batata” was served with fried potato slices as a side dish??? 15EUR was a proud price for this (no lunch). The second meal wasn't any better and the price-performance ratio wasn't right here either. Service continues to be pitiful… i.e. no questions asked as to whether another drink etc. was wanted. A pity.

The XoXo has become my absolute favorite restaurant in Frankenthal. We come here often and I have tried almost half the menu by now. There has truly never been a dish that I didn't like. The staff is very friendly and since they have been in the new location, the dining room is much larger and even nicer. XoXo will definitely remain my favorite bar in Frankenthal! ♡

Overall, the food is very good to excellent. The service is friendly and accommodating. The dishes are oriental and Syrian. There is a lot of vegetarian and freshly prepared food made from herbs and vegetables. The Syrian "bread" is like pancakes, thin and dry and unfortunately not to my taste. Unfortunately there is no beer, only non-alcoholic beer. Overall, the restaurant is a great recommendation.
