Very tasty Syrian food (both classic Arabic grill dishes and typical dishes from the city of Aleppo) - it was difficult to decide with the good selection, so we will definitely come back to try the other dishes. Attracted by the gourmet block, we are very enthusiastic about the delicious food and the friendly service. Be sure to reserve in advance!

You are warmly greeted as soon as you enter the establishment, you don't have to wait long for your food and it tastes very good. No picture does it justice! The service and ambience are warm, pleasant and relaxed, a good choice to spend a quiet evening with the family or to end the day with friends after a stressful day at work. The portions are just as fair as the prices and you will be full.

I had a wonderful evening at Xoxo. The food was great, the service was attentive and the atmosphere was very inviting. I can only recommend this restaurant.

It was like a culinary journey. There were four of us and we ordered various starters, main courses and desserts and were very satisfied. The restaurant and the toilets were very clean and the waiters were attentive. Very tasty food with noticeably fresh ingredients. Only the chicken was a little dry, but still very tasty with the various dips. The desserts were to die for. Above all, I was surprised by the Halawet El Jibn with its fruity, creamy taste. I will definitely come again.

The food is delicious, but the service is unfortunately subpar. Extremely unfriendly! You don't feel like going anymore because the unfriendliness unfortunately permeates every visit.

Authentic Syrian cuisine, a must for every fan of oriental cuisine and anyone who likes to go on culinary journeys. Great taste! The service is okay, but there was no response to empty glasses and it took a while for the bill to arrive. A small selection was also served for dessert to try, very tasty! The ambience is nice in itself, but there are no real plants and the acoustics are bad. All in all 4 out of 5 stars. We'll be back.

It's very cold in the restaurant. The meals are all relatively expensive. We were happy to order for delivery and the food in the restaurant is even more expensive than when delivered. The plates are arranged a bit carelessly and there are always the same side dishes on them. The pickled vegetables were extremely salty. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be

The booking went smoothly, the food was excellent, the atmosphere was stylish and the service was extremely accommodating. The atmosphere was also fantastic – simply an all-round successful package! The visit was based on a recommendation from friends. We had reserved a table for 7 p.m. and were there on time. We were told it would take another 5 minutes. We waited and were told it would take about 10 minutes. We were then rudely asked to make room because we were in the way. However, there was no other option to stop us. There was not a word of apology. At half past seven we were seated at a table that was brought in from outside. The employees were unfriendly and unhelpful until we paid. Only at the end was it given to us As compensation, an espresso or tea was offered on the house. The food was ok, even if some components that should have been on the plate according to the menu were missing. We will not visit the restaurant again.

Went there for lunch today with several people. The food was OK. Unfortunately we weren't informed about the lunch menu, it's right at the back, so unfortunately we didn't see it and so of course we paid more. Well... Unfortunately the service wasn't particularly attentive or friendly. We didn't ask if we wanted anything else. There were no friendly smiles when we arrived and we were barely looked at when we left the restaurant, even though everyone had tipped. You feel absolutely unwelcome. The ambience is of course a matter of taste, for me it's totally kitschy and uncomfortable, including the chairs. Unfortunately I don't recommend it.

Today we went to the city restaurant XOXO in Frankenthal for the first time. A warm welcome as soon as you enter the restaurant. Free choice of seating for 2 people. We then read the menu up and down. After asking what would be recommended, the service said: Since this is your first time with us, I would take the grill plate for 2 people. Including salad and mixed starter plate! And......? We weren't disappointed. The smell of different spices, the taste of the creams (dips), the meat, super delicious and afterwards both of them were completely full. We recommend it and will come to eat more often. Also in the afternoon for Arabic mocha and dessert. Thank you for this enrichment.

The food lacked the typical spices, except for the potatoes, which were layered with cheap French fries seasoning. After about an hour the table was cleared, although one person wasn't finished yet. After my objection the waitress said “the table is already reserved” what’s that supposed to mean?!

Despite making an early reservation, four of us couldn't get a seat after waiting for over half an hour. Staff totally unfriendly, no information, no offer of a drink. Unfortunately it wasn't just us, two couples waited in vain despite reservations. However, the look into the kitchen was exciting: clean is different. No recommendation.

We ate there for the first time with the family a few months ago. We really enjoyed it. Now I wanted to organize my son's birthday and we wanted to redeem four gourmet blocks with four coupons and four additional digital coupons for 16 people. The boss then said he wouldn't do that. It wouldn't be financially worthwhile for him. I then contacted the Schlemmerblock and they said over the phone that it could be done of course, as the Schlemmerblocks are designed for exactly that. No matter how many gourmet blocks you have. The provider would advertise it specifically. So I wrote to the owner again and said that he had offered himself up for it in the Schlemmerblock. And that he suddenly can't claim that he can't do that because it's not worth it for him. He himself decided to get hired for the Schlemmerblock. He said that he decides whether he accepts the gourmet block or not. and that from December 2024 onwards it will no longer be for the 2025 gourmet block. I cannot understand why the legal basis was not adhered to here. Of course I found another provider without a gourmet block who put together some nice grill plates for me. Because I didn't see the point of giving my money to someone like him and this restaurant. If the provider believes this is fictitious. I still have the whole story with me.

Something different, tastes very good. Unfortunately, the cold starter plate advertised on the menu for the grill mix plate was only a well-dressed iceberg lettuce, garnished with cucumber slices and peppers, with 4 dips and bread. In addition, the main course was only brought about 3 minutes after the "starter platter" and the meat got cold before we could start eating it. The young lady from the service was totally overwhelmed, the waiter was friendly and competent. The price is okay, the portion sizes are very good. Only the "artificial flower decorations" that run through the entire, otherwise very modern restaurant take some getting used to.

Unfortunately, the meat in my lamb skewer was not edible, it only consisted of fat and cartilage. I complained about it, all I got was "I'll pass it on to the chef..." but then nothing came. I would have liked at least a little compensation or feedback. The rest of the food was ok.

We spontaneously went here for dinner today and I can only say it's highly recommended. The food was excellent, large portions, friendly, attentive service and food allergies were also taken into account. We haven't had such a tasty meal in a long time, thank you very much, we will definitely come back.

It was our first time in this restaurant and the whole family was thrilled by the delicious food. Something completely different and you get the feeling that the food here is very authentic. It wasn't the last time we were here and we'll definitely be back! Absolute recommendation for anyone who wants something other than pizza etc. By the way: There are no alcoholic drinks!

The restaurant offers excellent traditional and authentic Syrian food. The atmosphere is simply wonderful and immediately transports you to Syria. The service is excellent and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. A small point of criticism is the slightly higher prices, but overall I can absolutely recommend this restaurant!

Very tasty food, you really have to try it. The homemade lemonade for me was made non-carbonated and was very refreshing. I would recommend making a reservation as the restaurant is very busy.

The staff in the restaurant was unfortunately not professional, but friendly. The food was very tasty. But ATTENTION our visit almost ended with an emergency doctor being called in! The two of us were eating, my girlfriend has a nut allergy. For this reason we ordered all of our food (starter plates) without nuts. However, there was half a walnut in one of the vine leaves, luckily only in the vine leaf that I had taken. If my friend had caught this grape leaf, it could have been fatal. The waiter's statement was... She would have said it specifically in the kitchen and mistakes happen... We would have at least wanted a serious reaction and perhaps a conversation with the kitchen staff! Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was very disappointing.

The food is actually really tasty, but unfortunately it gets worse with each visit. Allergies, such as nuts, are ignored in the kitchen despite requests. Vegan plate repeated with meat and cheese dishes instead of the things on the menu. Products like pistachios are swapped for almonds without mention. When you ask to have dishes packed, half of them are forgotten. The service is very inconsistent, depending on who is there, you wait forever to order, eat and pay. Some waiters don't even know the menu and have to look at the menu to see what you want every time you order, even the drinks. It's a shame because these are all things that can be easily fixed.

The XoXo has changed locations. Now much nicer and brighter. Also a lot more space to sit outside. The food is still top and incredibly tasty. If you want to try Syrian specialties, this is the place for you. The mixed cold appetizer platter is really fresh and delicious. Syrian bread is served with it. I like to eat here from time to time. Every time I visit Frankenthal I eat a little something here. This is the right place for anyone who likes Syrian specialties or starters. At the end you always get a little something on the house. Usually always a great little dessert. The owners and staff are really super nice and attentive.

Excellent oriental restaurant. - baba ganoush, falafels, stuffed eggplant with lamb, all very tasty. Beware, portions are big! - Delicious non-alcoholic drinks, especially the homemade lemonade.
