A visit to the Pinoteca in Frankenthal is a true highlight! The food was a pure feast for the palate – fresh, aromatic, and simply prepared to perfection. The ambiance is also impressive: stylish, cozy, and with a touch of Italian flair that immediately conjures up a holiday feeling. The service was very friendly and attentive. We did have to wait a little longer for drinks at one point, but with such a full house, that's completely understandable and didn't detract from the overall fantastic experience. In short: If you love Italian cuisine, this is the place for you. "La dolce vita si trova qui!" – you'll find the sweet life right here.

If you want authentic Italian food and appreciate perfect preparation, this is the place for you. I don't know of any Italian restaurant within a 100km radius that can compete with this.

Everything is homemade – and you can taste it! From the appetizer to the dessert, it's simply heavenly. The service is warm, attentive, and authentic – you feel like you're visiting friends every time. I'm completely happy every time I go to this place. The atmosphere is cozy, the food is dreamy, and you can tell that true professionals with attention to detail are at work here. The only "downside": You have to make reservations well in advance – but that just shows how popular and good this restaurant is. Absolutely deserved! Pinoteca Pizza/Pasta Frankenthal – A Piece of Italy in the Palatinate When a restaurant advertises itself as "100% Italian," it's often just marketing – but here, the promise is truly fulfilled. The food is simply outstanding. After the first bite, you feel like you're on vacation in Italy. The pizza is by far one of the best we've eaten in Germany – fluffy, flavorful dough, high-quality ingredients, and perfectly baked. Even though there are no specific children's dishes on the menu, the team is extremely flexible in catering to families. Our child was served a smaller pizza (shaped like a cat) without hesitation at a fair price. The staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and very helpful – you feel welcome. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality. The restaurant itself has a modern interior, but is a bit cramped due to its limited space. When it gets busy, it can be a bit noisy. But that didn't bother us, as the overall package is just right. There's usually plenty of parking in the surrounding area, although if you're unlucky, you might have to search for a few minutes. We'll definitely be back – this won't be our last visit!

Simply the best pizza ever! The pizza here is 100% Italian – crispy base, perfect toppings, and simply MEGA delicious! I've rarely eaten such authentic food, and I'm sure this was the best pizza I've ever had! 🍕 Definitely a repeat order – I'll definitely be back! The weekly menu is also absolutely fantastic! There are regular specials and drinks that you won't find everywhere. I treated myself to an Amarena Spritz – super refreshing and something different. We ate here for the first time today, and certainly won't be the last. Super delicious appetizers and a pizza with fantastic dough and toppings. I've rarely seen such a generous topping. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Due to the size of the restaurant, a reservation is highly recommended.

The spaghetti was simply divine. The service was friendly and attentive. The outdoor seating is right on the street, which can be a bit noisy at times. But that didn't bother us at all. The excellent food makes up for everything. If you want truly delicious Italian food, this is the place to be. Reservations are recommended. We'd love to come back.

Almost like an Italian vacation. Super delicious food, incredibly friendly owners. Sometimes you need patience when it's so busy, but it's definitely worth it. I especially love the small space, which seats about 25 people. Keep up the good work, I'll be coming back again and again!!! The Pinoteca Lounge is also great; I was there for the first time yesterday. I highly recommend everything!

I spent several wonderful evenings at this restaurant and can highly recommend it! The chefs are extremely competent, kind, and friendly. The service was professional, very attentive, and helpful. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful and immediately reminded me of my hometown in Italy. The prices are absolutely reasonable, especially considering the quality of the dishes. Whether a simple salad or a fillet steak—everything was simply fantastic! Very small. Unfortunately, the wait time for food was long. However, the service was very friendly and the food was good.

We picked up pizzas. Unfortunately, they weren't as good as usual. Today they were rather soggy and relatively cold by the time we got home (a 10-minute drive). The toppings in the middle of all of our pizzas fell off right away (undercooked? Something wrong with the dough?). We're usually very satisfied, but unfortunately, not today. The salad and tiramisu, however, were excellent!

Authentic Neapolitan pizza at its finest! The dough is perfect, the ingredients fresh and high-quality. The ambiance is very nice and inviting – you immediately feel at home. The pizzeria isn't particularly large, so it's definitely worth making a reservation in advance. Highly recommended!

There is a card plus a weekly card. I've never come to the regular menu because the weekly menu is always so good. The service is great. The boss serves and the boss does magic in the kitchen. It's very family-like. The Pinoteca is beautifully decorated and has a great flair. Small deduction because it's a bit narrow.

Super good food, great, friendly team, location is okay... it's very loud outside right on the street. Reservations are a must if you want a table inside.

"Maestro of Pasta" and "Chefe of Pizza" the perfect combination of good, honest food & drink, with a nice atmosphere and lovely service. You should make a reservation, with a bit of luck you can sometimes get a table without a reservation and if not!? Simply order takeaway food.

We were here for the first time and loved it! What a great atmosphere! We were warmly welcomed & we received an aperitif recommendation! As a starter I had a burrata with bresaola, the main course was a vegetarian pizza from the stone oven, tortellini alla panna as if Nonna had made it! Penne Gorgonzola and Spaghetti Putanesca! Finally, the best tiramisu I've ever eaten! So all in all it was excellent and particularly attentive and courteous service! We weren't here for the last time! If you love Italian cuisine and want everything served fresh and homemade from start to finish, you have to come here!

I had the pleasure of visiting this fantastic restaurant in Frankenthal and all I can say is that it is a true gem! The selection of pizza and pasta is impressive. Every meal is freshly prepared and tastes simply excellent. The pizza had a perfect, crispy edge and was richly topped with high-quality ingredients. The Margherita in particular captured my heart - the taste of the fresh basil was simply heavenly! The pasta was also second to none. I tried the Spaghetti Aglio e Olio, and it was perfectly al dente, with just the right amount of garlic and chili. The service was attentive and friendly, which made the entire experience even better. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and welcoming, ideal for an evening with friends or family. I highly recommend this restaurant! If you are in Frankenthal and are craving delicious pizza and pasta, then this is the place!

went to the place on Thursday evening at 8 pm and was supposed to be open but was closed. edit you do have many views on Google maps and I would suggest to update your timings accordingly, we got stuck 2 hours in traffic and was very disappointed to see ur Google profile wasn't updated.

The chicken was marinated in two pieces - but the real deduction is that the lettuce further down was drowned in the dressing and was inedible. The very nice waitress was also surprised - wanted to pass it on - but it stayed that way. A pity.

Since we met the owners before the Pinoteca opened, we were here in the restaurant for the first time today. We were surprised at what had become of the former flower shop. The ambience is very appealing, the food is excellently prepared with attention to detail. The service was very friendly because we knew each other. All in all highly recommended

Wir haben 2 Pizzen telefonisch bestellt, bei Abholung vor Ort waren die Pizzen teurer als im Internet angegeben. Nachdem wir die ( sehr, sehr guten!!) Pizzen gegessen hatten, meldeten wir die unterschiedlichen Preise im Kontaktformular des Lokals. Auf diese Nachricht haben wir bis heute ( 2 Wochen später) keine Antwort erhalten. Die Preise wurden auch nicht geändert.

It's really quite Italian, not standard Italian. Everyone was very nice, only the translation from Italian to German was not entirely correct. But it didn't bother me. My pasta with (fish) was very good. Small but nice.
