Die Gaststätte "Stadion Eck" ist der perfekte Ort für Fans des VfL Bochum und alle, die Gemütlichkeit und guten Geschmack zu schätzen wissen. Neben einer freundlichen Atmosphäre gibt es hier das wohl beste Schnitzel der Stadt: frisch gebraten, saftig und zart, ein wahres Fest für den Gaumen. Kleine Zeitreise gefällig...? Dann ab in die Castroper 195. Wir sind leider immer wieder nur zu Gast in Bochum und haben erst gestern das Stadioneck für uns entdeckt. Hier gibt es genau das, was wir uns unter Kneipenkultur im Pott vorstellen. Wir haben uns unter Stammgästen willkommen gefühlt und wurden sehr nett aufgenommen. Das Essen ist super und die Portionen riesig. Die Getränkeauswahl lässt keine Wünsche offen und das alles zu sehr fairen Preisen. Die raue Herzlichkeit der Menschen gibt es gratis dazu. Wir lieben es und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Danke, für den schönen Abend!

Perfect pub for watching football. The schnitzel is large and perfectly prepared. Pan-fried, not deep-fried. The owner is attentive, and the service is appropriate for a stadium pub.

Last Monday we were guests with the inclusive football team "Rainbow Stars Soccer" and the 2020 supporters from Velbert... the first team of SSVg Velbert played away at the second team of VfL Bochum and we were lucky enough to be able to ride on the team bus🌈🥳🤙🏻Before the game we were in the stadium corner with our friends from the 2020s and fortified ourselves before the game with currywurst + fries and cold drinks... it was super delicious, the service was top-notch in the way the athletes dealt with us, interested in our history and spreading a good mood among the group🤩The ambience in the pub is reminiscent of the "good old days" in the Bundesliga, when there was no video evidence and greed for money wasn't so omnipresent... it is a rustic football pub with a big heart! Every football fanatic visiting Bochum for a away game or who has landed in the heart of the Ruhr region for any other reason should pay a visit to this fabulous venue! 10 out of 10 points and a definite recommendation✌🏻😉🍻Best wishes and (sporting) success from the Rainbow Stars Soccer from Velbert!

The food was very tasty and relatively cheap.

A quaint Ruhrpott football pub. If you're looking for that, you'll find the right atmosphere there. The landlord and his wife are very friendly and communicative in their own way. They serve a variety of schnitzels and currywurst, and of course, beer. As far as a stranger can tell, many regulars frequent the pub. We liked it so much we went there several times and ordered a schnitzel (large portions).

Sven and his wife run this corner pub with truly outstanding attention to detail. Football is watched on the weekends, but the place also appeals to many locals. Good service, good prices, and the food is also recommended: homemade Frikkos (fried sausages), exactly what you'd expect from a local pub. There's a lounge and spotless restrooms at the back, and a small sun terrace at the front. We've been there to watch football, play Doppelkopf (double-headed German football), and have a beer/nightcap. He just doesn't know a thing about football, but even if you're not a VfL fan, you can watch other teams besides VfL in the conference, which is really cool. Always a pleasant atmosphere, the landlord is the boss and looks after all the guests; it was always a blast there without exception. Conclusion: Unreservedly recommended.

A very clear recommendation to stop by there! I was there for the first time on Friday and absolutely loved it. The owners are super nice, the schnitzel portion is huge and super tasty. Also the sauces and the salad beforehand. And all at very affordable prices! There are enough large TVs to watch football on match day. Simply top top

30 years of VfL - 30 years simply 300 km to Bochum... then such an experience… arrogant pub… cheeky - snotty… definitely not recommended!!

A nice, cozy neighborhood pub where you can also have great food. Fresh cuisine that offers something for everyone. Various schnitzels, soups or something small for in between. The staff is very friendly and leaves nothing to be desired. It's packed on home game days, reservations required! Nevertheless, you get your drinks quickly. The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean, as are the toilets. The stadium corner is always worth a visit.

Great Ruhrpott pub with delicious food at affordable prices and innkeepers who put their heart and soul into it. We were at Starlight Express and were looking for a pub in the evening where you could eat reasonably well. The positive Google reviews are absolutely justified.

We went there for dinner after the away win against Union and the mood was correspondingly good. They opened the kitchen again especially for us and we ate two excellent schnitzel dishes - Braumeister and the schnitzel, the name of which can no longer be mentioned here - each with a large portion of fries. Very nice guests and very good service there and the fish on tap was also very tasty. It was a very good choice to stop there. Everything there with a lot of passion.

Great pub with great service. The beer is always brought quickly and the schnitzels are A1. The innkeeper and the innkeepers do this out of passion. You notice that straight away :-)

Were very positively surprised. We didn't have a reservation, although it was quite full, we managed to get a seat. We were welcomed very friendly. Food was great and plentiful. Plenty of fries, 2 schnitzels with paprika sauce (for 1 person!). Price - performance top.

Very tasty food and beers at a good price.

We met with around 15 bus drivers to make it easier for a dear colleague and friend to enter retirement life. The service was world class thanks to the server Denis. Drinks were at the table in no time and there was of course room for a friendly word. I have to say, I am very impressed!!!!!! The meal took a few minutes, but was very tasty and filling. A portion to eat enough to eat. This was definitely not my last visit to this restaurant. Great atmosphere, mixed audience, everything was perfect. Nowadays it's good that you get very good quality for good money. !!!!!! Absolute recommendation!!!!! Keep it up!!!!! Best regards Werner Herbe

Went there spontaneously for dinner today. Really very tasty food. Price/portion really great. Plus staff who know their craft. You can immediately tell that they enjoy their work. Absolutely recommended. We will be back!

Der neue kleine "Biergarten" lädt zum Verweilen ein

Wir haben nach einem einfachen Abendbrot gesucht und waren extrem von dieser kleinen Kneipe überrascht. Die beiden Inhaber Sven und Djana empfingen uns sehr aufgeschlossen und freundlich. Wir bestellen vier Schnitzel zu einem echt super Preis, da die Portionsgröße wirklich riesig war. Wir kommen gern wieder, wenn wir in der Gegend sind. Viele Grüße!

Schöne Kneipe mit kleinem Aussenbereich. Sehr nette Bedienung. Wir hatten Jägerschnitzel mit Pommes und Salat, +Currywurst mit Pommes. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Wir haben den 70. Geburtstag meines Vaters dort gefeiert und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Total liebe Wirte und echt leckeres, bodenständiges Essen! Alles in allem astrein 👍

Wir waren in der Gegend unterwegs und haben das Eck durch Google gefunden. Ein wirklich toller Laden! Nettes Ambiente, toller Wirt, leider in der falschen Stadt, ich hätte den Laden gerne in Duisburg!

Beste Pinte in ganz Bochum. Vernünftiges Pils und wenn man was auf die Gabel haben möchte,passt's vom Geschmack und vom Preis. Fussball gucken kann man auch und ein netter Schnack mit dem Wirt ist immer drin

Ich bin begeistert Die Bedienung ist schnell und freundlich. Es gibt eine kleine Menüauswahl von bekannten Essen, z. B. Currywurst, verschiedene Schnitzelgerichte, Suppen oder Salate. Alles sehr lecker und auch das Auge isst mit👍. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist super bei großen Portionen. Hier wird man satt und bekommt eine gute "Unterlage" für seine Bierchen... !!!
