Visited on Wednesday with a reso. Got a round table at the back that fit 6 people. I recommend doing resos since it was packed. Food was a hit or miss. This was my first time here, but my friends said it’s usually more consistent. Dish recos: Oyster mushrooms, moules frites, beef tartare, baked pear (the sauce paired well with the cheesecake so if you’re with a group, get both desserts) Didn’t like: fish was dry, focaccia was not that fluffy and butter wasn’t salted Pork jowl has potential but only a few pieces in the centre were tender. The rest was overcooked. Good wine and cocktail selection. Service was good up until the end when they were really pushy about paying cash, even suggesting we do partial cash payment.

Friendly and lively! We had a great start at the bar with fresh beer and spritz; followed by a family-style dinner… loud and busy, but the service took excellent care of us.

Nice cozy bar incl. kitchen. Minimalistic but very delicious options and good drinks.

I can't comment on the food as I didn't have the opportunity to order it. The staff asked me to wait for a table at the bar and then said the kitchen had closed and kicked us out. I don't recommend it and wouldn't go back.

Good food . Service could be better

Yet another overpriced Berlin restaurant. Even though the place looks very cozy and the staff was nice, the food served was unfortunately average compared to the price. As usual in Berlin restaurants, the staff tried to sell their expensive sparkling water, but they do serve tap water, which is a positive point. I would suggest some improvements: 1. Add more options to the menu — the choices were quite underwhelming. 2. Reduce the price of your anchovies — €10 for 5 tiny anchovies, come on… 3. Include chips with the beef dish; currently, the price for both is €44 (!). 4. Add a bit more food overall to the plates so that people leave the place full (and not angry?). 5. Do some deep cleaning — the ceiling lamps were full of dust. The question I asked myself when rating restaurants is whether I would recommend it to friends or go there again. Unfortunately, the answer to both is no. Sorry for the bad review but I believe improvements are required. Of course this is a personal point of view.

I emailed in advance to make a reservation for my staff dinner group of 8 and St Bart were very responsive. Half my team are vegetarian so we were happy to see that half the menu was able to be made vegetarian for them. Everyone agreed that the food was fresh, delicious and well sized, especially the fish and broccolini. The wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic menu is extensive and we opted for orange wine and my favourite, whiskey sour. Highly recommend for larger groups and staff dinners. Thank you for a special evening!

A british friend brought me to this place for the famous sunday roast. I was therefore expecting something amazing. However, what I found was the most overpriced "slices" of meat I've ever eaten. It was cold, hard, and definitely not worth the wait or the price. Come to my place on a sunday and I will make you a much better roast for a quarter of the price.

Sunday roast was amazing quality-wise. Service was very slow and they did not read our instructions on the reservation, which was disappointing. Prices of the bottles are pretty high, as well as the food, hence I expect an appropriate service.

Not acceptable value for money regarding the food. (Example 1 Scotch egg 12€) Don‘t understand the concept with several italian dishes.

It was my first visit. I was a bit overwhelmed by the menu and the concept wasn't entirely clear. Otherwise, the food was very good. It was a bit too dark inside for my liking. Unfortunately there are only a few seats outside! However, there were service staff who seemed a bit nervous, you'd almost have thought it was their first day!

Some good aspects, but overall we were disappointed and will not return. The service was good and the staff are friendly. The St Bart Spritz is delicious. Unfortunately we felt the food was overpriced for what you get. Anchovies tasted like they were just anchovies from a tin; tomato salad with flavourless tomatoes; and chips which were fine but nothing special. The focaccia with smoked butter was good; and the brick chicken was nice but again nothing special - particularly considering the price.

We really enjoyed our evening at St. Bart. The service was excellent and courteous, professional and caring. The dishes were a culinary surprise and the wines were very convincing. A special address for anyone who wants to try something different that is beyond the usual cuisine😊

St Bart is fantastic for wholesome meals and delicious comfort food. Strongly recommend reserving a table as they can get very busy. From start to finish the service was excellent, honestly can say it was brilliant. I can’t wait to return and try the Sunday roast!

A great outdoor area with equally beautiful interiors. The staff always strives to ensure guests have a great time. Not everything was perfect (the wine was almost uncooled), but thanks to the smooth communication with the staff, everything was resolved in a very short time! Truly great service!

We have specifically reserved earlier for an outside spot however they have moved us in without notification and led us to find another place last minute on a Friday evening.

The black pudding with brown sauce and a fried egg was a strong 15/10.

If you want a gastropub in Berlin, then go to St. Bart. If you want a Sunday roast in Berlin, then go to St. Bart. Really good and varied cuisine and excellent drinks (beer, wine, spirits) at very reasonable prices! Make sure you make a reservation.

***Negative section of the review at the end, regarding staff stealing from customers*** It's one of my favourite places in berlin, the food is always made really well and of course I would review it 5 stars. Unfortunately I think it's important to know (for customers and for the owners) that the last time I ate here, the person gave us the bill which was correct, however after paying by card I noticed there was an extra 3 euro charged to my card. It was a business account so I asked for the tax receipt and it stated the original amount. I asked the person for a correct receipt and it came back with a €3 tip added. I didn't say anything to the guy because I can afford 3 eur, however it is the customer's choice as to whether they want to tip in this country or not. Service staff are paid well, and they shouldn't be stealing from customers (because that's exactly what this is).

It's a great place if you like small plates which you can share with someone else! It's not a vegan place!

Great atmosphere, service - food was good, a bit lacking in seasoning “punch” for my taste. Gravy eg pretty bland/ watery. But roast beef and lamb shank good, sides also good quality.

st. bart was a perfect choice for my birthday with 15 guests. they took so good care of us and the food and service was fantastic. we were lucky that we did not have to clear our table and could hang out there bit late and have cokteils and wine. i was happy both with service and the food and all my guests kept talking about the food also how good it was and how fun it was to eat all together family style many dishes.. i cant wait to get back there.. i would think its also perfeckt for a date night !

Others may enjoy it, but I found the food fruitful. No matter whether it was meat that was riddled with tendons, or the vegetables that were partly fried until black, and the butter for the foccacia was fatty and whipped but without any taste. The restaurant is not for me.

really sad to report that the Sunday roast didn't meet expectations.. at all. we sat in a cute round booth in a group of six and ordered 3x roast plates (which was bland and lifeless) with lamb shank (lacking flavour), roast beef (really tough, not nice) and bird (dry, lacking flavour). at 40-50eur pp i was really expecting more. won't be going back unfortunately.

Price-value sadly poor. We came back after a great experience about a year ago. Now a greasy, mediocre potato gratin for 21 Euro and 4 half pieces of white asparagus (roughly 140g) for 14 Euro. Paying over 250 Euros for 4 Persons and being offered exactly 4 pieces of bread…sorry thats just bad value.

I really liked the place and the atmosphere, but the service wasn’t great, probably because it was quite crowded. I think I’ll come back! Overall, it was a nice Easter lunch! I’d recommend skipping the special dishes if you’re hungry, as the portions were really small and didn’t come with any sides even though the price isn’t cheap.

We were there last night. I have years of professional restaurant experience. The price/performance ratio was completely off, but that doesn't matter at a thriving hipster bistro. The chicken was too dry. The steak was cold. They don't ask for sugar when ordering espresso! The table was booked in a time slot, which wasn't mentioned when making the reservation. I've had better fries. The salad was delicious. There are legal regulations for menus, meaning twice as many main courses as starters. Also, given the prices, I think cloth napkins would be appropriate, even if you're a pub, simply for sustainability reasons. Don't worry, the place is doing well. But for the reasons stated above, it's not okay for me.

We were 4 people, on a Friday night out. The food is fantastic, some of the best fries I’ve ever had. The portions are huge, we barely managed some appetizers and a main for each person. The service is ok, but can be slow at times and not the most attentive throughout our seating.

Super nice service and delicious food

Just walked in without reservation and got super lucky. We had a very good time at the bar. Ordering a full super delicious Menue, fun conversations with the staff. The brick chicken is probably the best I ever had. - the cheesecake is great but not liquid inside.

My absolute favourite place in Berlin. The food, the drinks, the staff, the atmosphere - there is nothing to complain about ever.

The food was tasty but the service was not very good. The servers were all very nice once you were able to stop one, but otherwise they were running around overwhelmed and did not check in with us. We had empty drink glasses for our whole meal and were never cleared away or asked if we wanted another drink. The quality of service did not match the quality of the food unfortunately.

For these prices in Berlin I would expect better service. After taking our order the server did not come back to our table once.

I like their Sunday roast. While you are there, try the oysters. You are not going to regret it.

We were there for the Sunday Roast. There is, among other things, the classic Sunday roast. There was also a daily menu with specials. We had reserved. This can be recommended. The store was well attended. The audience is mixed, international, young. The restaurant is quaint and cozy. A pub. English is spoken. Easy. The food was down-to-earth and cooked with love. Soul food! There is a large selection of different drinks and a large wine list. Beer too. The service was well organized, friendly and relaxed. Easily accessible by public transport bus M41 (stop Grafestr.). Clear recommendation. We'll be back. Cheers!

Starting with the positives: The service and drinks were very good. The food was very disappointing. We ordered the sunday roast which included a roast platter with roasted veggies, 1 yorkshire pudding and gravy(?). The protein we ordered was roast beef and lamb shank. Every component was bland and lacked seasoning. Most of the food came almost completely cold. The yorkshire puddings were done a few hours ago and were compressed, and in parts underdone. The gravy, if it was supposed to be gravy, was watery like broth. You were able to look through it when pouring. It might be that it was supposed to be a broth but I think its very unusual to serve broth with an english sunday roast.

The restaurant impresses with its rustic, down-to-earth interior and the bar with white tiles on the back wall. What makes the store so unique? The Sunday Roast special! On Sundays there is a special menu here, with a choice of, among other things, perfectly fried chicken or tender pink roast beef served with a marrow bone. There is also gravy and a plate with delicious side dishes. The only deduction for us was the sauce. In general, salt was saved, but unfortunately especially with the sauce. It's a natural juice sauce, but we think it didn't go well with the otherwise strong flavors and was a bit lost. If you are nearby and are looking for a special activity on Sundays, you should definitely stop by. It's very worth it!

A wonderful evening awaits you in the St. Barth Restaurant! The cozy shop exudes a welcoming atmosphere that immediately creates a feeling of well-being. The food is simply outstanding – every dish is prepared with a lot of love and creativity. Particularly noteworthy is the large and special wine selection, which goes perfectly with the dishes. It's impressive that the owner himself is in the kitchen; You can tell this in the quality and freshness of the food. All in all a successful stay that I can warmly recommend to everyone! Always my pleasure.

All in all really good. You have the feeling of visiting friends. The food is very good and of excellent quality. Only the narrow time slots are very annoying. It's no fun when someone tells you while you're eating that you have to finish now. Not very respectful and not worthy of the good overall impression.

St.Bart was great! We went on Sunday for the roast. Definitely recommended reservations or calling ahead to make sure they have room because this amazing meal draws a crowd. It was a fun dimly lit, cosy atmosphere! The servers were all nice and funny! The food was great! Oysters were pricey but honestly incredible so I can't even be mad about it 😅. My husband had one of the specials instead of the roast (bangers and mash), he said it was some of the best he's had. Overall I would recommend St. Bart and I look forward to visiting again when I'm in Berlin!

Sunday roast is like being transported to the UK. Cosy and really friendly staff. Big portions, good wine and there was a veggie and fish option - expensive, but a nice experience.

Top notch food, drinks and service - one of Berlin’s best!

Starting with the highlights: service was great and wine list great although the first 2-3 bottles we wanted to order were out of stock and we were only informed after having already ordered. Food was tasty but a bit underwhelming. Also, we ordered the fish and were informed there’s only the last bit (head piece) left. They explained the portion is normally around 200g but less in this case and that for this reason we would get a special price. However, the special price was a 2€ discount (from about 28€) but there was maybe 120g of fish to eat. So that was rather disappointing & we wouldn’t have ordered it at all, had we known this. Also, more vegetarian options would have been appreciated.

We have been twice now as a large group and i must say the service is brilliant. All of the staff are under pressure the whole time on a sunday due to the popularity of the place but are always friendly. The food is amazing. The closest you can get to a sunday roast outside of the UK. The meat is incredible. The atmosphere is amazing too, again i think this is due to the hard work from the staff

Apparently amateur chefs, with no understanding of how to treat otherwise good produce. Poor composition of flavours. Raw Beef (tartare) drowned in mayonnaise, mushrooms destroyed in oil, cuttlefish not properly cleaned (gritty). Snooty waiter. Bread was good though. Will not recommend

me and a friend wanted to grab some drinks as we always liked the atmosphere when passing, but unfortunately the manager (or perhaps owner?) of the shift made us feel like being a burden upon arrival, seemed as if he’d prefer for us to go somewhere else. not a vibe at all, so immediately left again. if this is how being welcomed at this place, i’m not curious to find out more. very unfortunate as food and atmosphere seem to be good.
