After a successful tennis match at the Dahn Sports Park indoor tennis court, we wanted to end the evening at the sports bar – unfortunately, it was a disappointment. We waited over 20 minutes for a simple 0.4-liter beer, the air was stuffy, and the atmosphere was more reminiscent of a retirement home than a lively sports bar. The mood was subdued, the crowd lacked athleticism, and overall, the whole place seemed uninviting. The only bright spot: the tennis hall itself – well-maintained, well-equipped, and ideal for a match. The sports bar, on the other hand, was disappointing. The bottom line: Anyone hoping for a cool drink and a sporty vibe after a game of tennis will be disappointed. This was definitely our last visit. --

Thanks to the necessary renovation, the Sportpark is once again modern and very chic, without neglecting the old concept of combining sports, entertainment, and food. The waiters are friendly, the new tenant is very helpful, and the food is delicious. Unfortunately, the regulars are a bit put off by the back and forth in the past. But we'll be happy to come back...! Update August 2025: We spontaneously went to eat at the Sportpark yesterday (Thursday = Burger Day). It was very busy, and the outdoor area was almost completely full. The service was still very attentive!

Salad with onion, oil, and lemon, not like the trendy white chemical paste. The spritzer is lightly carbonated, so it's a good wine-to-mineral-water ratio. Friendly service.👍😀

The food was excellent, grilled pepperoni and burgers, only on Thursdays. Other dishes were also delicious. I've been there several times. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, coordination with the drinks counter seems to be a bit off. The waiter had to apologize. The appetizer came before the appetizer, which came with the main drink. All in all, still good. We'll go again, but we'll order in order.

Was here a few years ago and it tasted good... pizza (dough) wasn't Italian or Neapolitan style/recipe but it tasted as good as at home and when you use good ingredients you notice that too (3 cheese pizza in this case) I'd be happy to go again 😀

A must for us when we come to Dahn. The food is always perfect, the service is super friendly (sweet is more appropriate), the boss is really sweet and the atmosphere is so cozy. The name Sportpark isn't really apt, because here you don't get just any baked pizza, but incredibly good food in a great atmosphere! Plus, after the huge portions, you're actually more ready for the Fredskoma. 🥸 I always look forward to visiting here. Thank you for being able to maintain this high standard over the years.

We came today without a reservation and wanted to play bowling and eat something. We received a very warm welcome and, despite being early, we were immediately looked for a train. We were very lucky, there was a lane available straight away, which made us very happy. The employee was very helpful at bowling and we were also served drinks straight away. Afterwards we had a wonderful meal and were repeatedly asked whether everything was to our satisfaction. That was it. It was a successful, lovely evening with delicious food and top customer service. We immediately decided to come back soon.

There were nine of us – six adults and three children – and we had a great evening. The fireplace at the entrance made it pleasantly warm and the dining room was very comfortable. We had great service. The waitress immediately noticed that we had the wrong salad dressing. She repeatedly asked if we had any requests and was attentive and friendly. The owner also asked if everything was OK. Plus, the food came at the same time and the pizza was really tasty. The kids menu is really fun. We'll definitely come back next time.

Atmosphere is good. The service is very friendly and accommodating! Only the food wasn't like that. My mock jellyfish were nicely dry and my wife's salad and my side salad were very sour. After a friend complained, the restaurant made improvements and then it was ok.

Vegans and dog owners have to stay outside and give this restaurant a wide berth. Dog owners are thrown out straight away and vegans are thrown out at the latest when the menu comes out: not a single dish declared vegan. If you ask, you will be offered fries and salad without dressing or pasta with tomato sauce. I can cook both better myself.

Animal hostile shop. Dogs must stay outside. Dog owners should spend their money elsewhere. The whole thing is embarrassing. Really sad.

We had a lovely evening with excellent food. The starter, main course and desserts were all very tasty. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent service. The service was very friendly and attentive.

We really enjoy being guests at the sports park when we are at our campsite in Dahn. Today I have to give another review because the food tastes really excellent. Today we had pizza, and the great thing was that I was allowed to choose two versions of one pizza. Simply world class, the price/performance is still right. 👍👍 The girls are also so sweet and quick, and the boss greets his guests personally. We are always happy about a nice visit and delicious food in the sports park. Keep it up 🤗✨✨✨✨✨✨ Tanya and Michael

I like to go there just for a drink or to eat. Price performance is good. I actually always enjoy food.

We went bowling with 15 people and were first rounded off by the waitress or boss in an impossible tone because we didn't have any sneakers with us. Nobody pointed this out to us when we made the reservation. Finally we were allowed to go bowling. Thanks for that. Bowling alley itself, without words. When I ate afterwards, my salad had no taste at all and the spaghetti ice cream my son ordered was a large scoop of cheap vanilla ice cream, including ice crystals, with cream and a dollop of strawberry sauce. I mentioned this to the waitress at the bowling alley, who was already very unfriendly, and she then explained to me, again very unfriendly, that the ice cream was a ready-made product and that there was no ice cream parlor here. Then you can't sell spaghetti ice cream for 6 euros. However, the young conditions at the table were very friendly.

Very friendly staff. Free parking directly in front of the restaurant. Own small children's playground in front of the restaurant. Food was very tasty (Schnitzel Viennese style (€15.90 & Cordon Bleu €19.90). Restaurant was completely booked, so the slightly longer waiting time was absolutely understandable. Conclusion: Price & performance fits. Service and taste are convincing. 1 star deducted because unfortunately only the terrace (outdoor area) was open. Towards the evening it got quite chilly and you weren't allowed to sit down.

Unfortunately, homemade burgers are only prepared and served on Thursdays. So disappointed we had to find an alternative on the menu. The Palatinate plate I ordered was okay. Sauerkraut, bratwurst, Saumagen and liver dumplings were edible. The fried potatoes we ordered were not good because they were still quite wobbly. Longer contact with the pan would have been good for them. My wife had rubbery calamari and cold fried mushrooms. Can you do better! For dessert I was looking forward to a waffle with chocolate ice cream and cookie crumble. The waffle was like rubber. It was definitely not freshly prepared and from a ready-made package. To charge €6.50 for a goods value of not even close to €1 is an outrage. My daughter ordered spaghetti ice cream, which was also purchased. No half-frozen cream at the bottom, carelessly on the plate with a few fruits. So if you like ready-made products, you are welcome to stop here. Otherwise, please visit any other restaurant. Sorry, the service was very attentive and friendly, but didn't really respond to our complaints about the food in question. Unfortunately that was our last visit here!

None of the food is homemade. All finished products with poor quality. Never again.

Was once again in the Palatinate and here in the Dahn sports park. I've been coming here for years and appreciate the quality of the cuisine and the tasty dishes. I'm looking forward to the winter time again, when the wasps outside are no longer there😅, but that's part of the summer time. Very nice service staff and a professional company that provides its walk-in customers with food and drink very quickly after hiking. Keep it up.

Everything was just great, Bruchetta had a great taste and a great portion, schnitzel with champion cream sauce was great, side salad was perfect, I can only recommend it to you, there were 4 of us. The burger was great, spagetti ala Chef was great, everything was very good. Service was really good the young girl was super nice👍 Thank you, we'll be back.🙋‍♂️

If small children are not welcome, you should make this known on the homepage. First and last visit despite good ones Eat Addition: The sound makes the music. If children! If you don't behave appropriately in their eyes, you can also remain objective.

DANGER ! The food quality is outrageously bad. Instead of fried potatoes there were cold potato slices with almost raw onions, the whole thing dripping with fat. The schnitzel was done and was hard and dry as straw. But at least warm. A complaint led to nothing. I'll never go here again. Maybe the chef was sick, I don't know, but a reputable operator shouldn't let laypeople work in the kitchen - and that was the impression we had.

While traveling from Edenkoben to Wissembourg by bike, we ended up at the Hotel Eyberg. This is also great and very inexpensive. We really enjoyed the food. It was tasty, already prepared, sufficient and the price-performance ratio was right. All the wait staff were attentive and friendly even though it was very busy. We wouldn't have to wait long. If we are in the area again we will definitely eat here again. We recommend. Keep it up - thank you very much.

TOP! During our stay at the campsite in Dahn we ate there three times. The service was always friendly and attentive, the menu was very extensive, every dish we had was delicious and portion sizes were also suitable for the “hungry”. The Italian salad is the biggest I've ever seen! Dogs were welcome and they always tried very hard to find a good place for us. What else should be mentioned: Low carb eaters will find a lot on the menu that will fill them up without becoming poor! Extra requests weren't a problem either. We'd love to go there again on our next holiday in the Palatinate (a well-known steakhouse nearby should perhaps take a look at the service) Update June 2021 There are new tenants! Staff still very friendly, dogs only welcome outside! However, the menu is far from that of its predecessor. Low carb nil! The food was good so far, the salad with spicy chicken was very tasty.

Wir waren vor ein paar Jahren schon mal hier und da waren die Rumpsteaks auf den Punkt. Voller Vorfreude bestellten wir uns zwei Rumpsteaks medium und medium well. Was uns dann vorgesetzt wurde, war medium rare und das kann ich nicht essen. Wir reklamierten, doch der Koch war anscheinend um 13:45 Uhr schon gegangen. Selbst der Kellnerin war das peinlich. Warum bietet man ein 250 g Steak an, wenn man sein Handwerk nicht beherrscht oder keine Lust zum Arbeiten hat!? Bei dem Preis erwarte ich Qualität.

We come here every now and then. Ate very tasty again. The food was prepared quickly and everything was great, very tasty. Unfortunately there was no more vanilla ice cream for dessert. Very friendly and attentive service. We got there quite early, so there was no problem getting a seat.

The ambience is a mix of a sports park restaurant and an Italian restaurant. Very beautifully and modernly designed but with a view of the adjacent tennis hall through an ancient single-glazed pane. It took a while for the drinks to arrive but the price-performance ratio is definitely right here. Went there spontaneously but will definitely come back again. In the summer there is also a cozy beer garden.

Sitting nicely, but unfortunately not eating so well. The chicken nuggets from the salad were so rock hard... Price/performance ratio fits. I'd be happy to come back and check whether the constructive criticism of the chicken is accepted and implemented. 👍🏼

Very nice restaurant. Good dishes and not too expensive. It tasted very good. We were here for the first time and were surprised. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated. The fireplace also gave the whole thing a special touch. Everyone was very nice and took care of our well-being. Thanks !

Very, very nice service, even though I arrived shortly before the kitchen closed, it wasn't a problem at all. I ate one of the best schnitzels in a long time, fries were super crispy. My expectations were absolutely exceeded. Great value for money, really highly recommended.

Das Essen ist nicht schlecht aber auch nicht überragend Offensichtlich hat es auch einen Pächterwechsel gegeben. Nettes Essen und mehrere sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Bedienungen trotz gut gefülltem Gastraum: da kommen wir doch gerne wieder.

Essen sehr gut Service top gerne wieder

Essen selbst war okay. Wir waren um 12:30 Uhr alle im Sportpark, das Essen bekamen wir aber erst um 14:15 Uhr. Die lange Wartezeit fanden wir leider nicht positiv. Die bestellte Vorspeise kam mit bzw. bei 2 Personen erst nach der Hauptspeise. Auch wenn wir mehrere Personen an diesem Tag waren ist das nicht okay. Zumal wir ha genauso viel bezahlen mussten wie die, die ihr Essen noch vor uns bekamen und nach uns kamen. Dies waren auch mehrere Personen.

Sehr enttäuschend. Früher war der Sportpark ein super leckeres Restaurant mit zuvorkommendem Personal, gemütlichem Ambiente und durchgehend geöffnet. Heute ist das Essen wirklich grauenhaft (Nudeln versalzen und auch sonst nicht ansprechend), Hunde müssen draussen bleiben, Kegeln darf man nur noch während 2 Stunden über Mittag und Geburtstagsfeiern und eine kleine Knabberei beim Kegeln ist auch strengstens untersagt. Leider war dies unser letzter Besuch im Sportpark.

Gut gegessen, prima freundlicher Service, angenehme Preise. Werde ich bei Gelegenheit nochmals aufsuchen.

Wir waren mit 2 Personen ohne Rwservierung dort. Inhaber hat alles ermöglicht das wir noch einen platz bekommen haben. Service mega und Essen und trinken fairer Preis und vorallem sehr sehr lecker. Nur zu empfehlen wir kommen sicherlich mit Reservierung wieder. Hab allerdings nur ein Foto von der Nachspeise gemacht.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen hier Essen. Wir hatten nicht reserviert und Glück, dass wir den letzten freien Tisch bekommen haben (Reservierung empfohlen). Es hatte seinen Grund, denn hier wird zu sehr fairen Preisen ein gutes Essen und mit einem ebenfalls sehr angenehmen Service in gemütlichem Ambiente geboten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hungrig, nach einem Schwimmbad-Besuch, besuchten wir (2 Personen), die Gaststätte Sportpark in Dahn. Wir gaben bei einer freundlichen Bedienung unsere Bestellung auf. 1x Cordon bleu 18,50€ und 1× Schweinelende 17,50€. Der Vorspeisesalat war schmackhaft, die Pommes Frites ebenfalls. Aber bereits bei den ersten Bissen stellten wir fest, dass das Fleisch der Lende hart gebraten, faserig und sehr trocken war. Das Cordon bleu war auf der Unterseite stark verbrannt. Ich liess die Hälfte der Lende auf dem Teller, da nicht geniessbar. Nachdem die Bedienung abräumte und obligatorisch fragte, ob es geschmeckt hätte, trugen wir den Sachverhalt vor, baten, dies der Küche mitzuteilen und um die Rechnung. Diese wurde uns kommentarlos gebracht. Auf unsere Frage, wie die Küche reagiert hätte, sagte die Bedienung: Man habe gesagt: "Es wurde ja gegessen:" Dies stimmt nicht. Ich habe die Hälfte des Fleisches nicht essen können! Wir haben keine Forderungen gestellt, aber zumindest eine Entschuldigung seitens des Lokals wäre angemessen gewesen, zumal auch das verbrannte Cordon bleu, wissentlich der Küche, dreist mit der verbrannten Seite nach unten,serviert wurde. Dies darf man so nicht an seine gäste servieren. Sorry, wir hätten für den Preis auch eine angemessene Leistung erwartet. Der Bedienung haben wir trotzdem ein Trinkgeld gegeben, denn sie war für das Desaster nicht verantwortlich, aber der Koch.

Kommen seit 30 Jahren unregelmäßig hierher. Wir sind immer wieder begeistert von dem gleichbleibend guten Essen und dem sehr freundlichen Service.

Sehr schöne Lokation, wunderschöner Ausblick. Das Essen war super gut,auch die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und höflich.

Wir haben unsere Cupra Tour dieses Jahr in der Pfalz durch geführt. Ziel war dann am Samstag Abend der Sport Park. Reservierung für 21 Personen hat funktioniert und wir saßen im Innenraum wo dann gegessen und getrunken wurde. Alle Gerichte (außer eins - Rigatoni) mit den Vorspeisen kamen zeitnah und waren in Ordnung. Es gab keinerlei Beschwerden und auch geschmacklich keine Probleme. Von der Calzone, über Tortellini bis zu Fleischgerichten war alles dabei. Wir alle hatten einen tollen Abend, und werden irgendwann noch einmal vorbei kommen.

Was man von einem Restaurant das an eine Tennishalle angebaut ist erwarten kann. Essen war gut, Preise auch. Es gab nur eine kleine Mittagskarte. Schöner Biergarten, leider war kein Wetter.

Waren am Samstag mit 6 Personen im Sportpark Kegeln danach zum Essen. Parkplätze genügend freie vorhanden, obwohl Biergarten gut besucht war. Kegelbahn sehr sauber und schön. Das Essen sowie die Vorspeißen waren sehr lecker, frisch und schön angerichtet, sowie reichlich. Besonders lecker war der Beilagensalat, welcher im Preis beim Hauptgericht inclusive war, woanders kostet der meistens extra. Sehr zu loben sind die humanen Getränke Preise, da kann mann noch für die heutige Zeit Essen und Trinken zu fairen Preisen. Sehr schöner Biergarten. Wir (alle 6 Personen) waren mehr als sehr zufrieden und können den Sportpark mit seinem Team nur weiterempfehlen, nicht zu vergessen die Küche *****. Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Abend. Wir kommen wieder, macht weiter so. 100 Prozentige Weiterempfehlung

Preiswertes und gutes Essen. Schönes Ambiente im Felsenland und dem angrenzenden Biergarten. Bei Vollauslastung muss mit Wartezeiten gerechnet werden. Pizza gibt es leider nur Abends.

Hatten das Schnitzel Parmigiana mit gem. Salat und Pommes. Sehr lecker. Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unser Hund hat einen Napf Wasser bekommen.

Gutes Essen und sehr freundliches Personal

Das Essen hat mit einer Pizzeria nichts zu tun. Lasagne und Pizza mit Emmentaler ertränkt das geht gar nicht. Der Service war hingegen toll.

Großer lauter Raum indem man sich nicht vernünftig unterhalten kann.Abtrennungen zwischen den Tischen echt ratsam.Personal gibt alles.Nett,zuvorkommend,schnell. Soweit in Ordnung. ABER Finger weg von der Pizza.Fade und der Teig ist mit Sicherheit ein Fertigprodukt,wie Pappe.

Vorspeise waren Sardellen, sorry aber zwei Scheiben Brot mit Butter und eine Dose Sardellen einfach aufgerissen für fast Elf Euro. Das geht gar nicht

Wir haben die besondere Empfehlung laut Speisekarte gegessen. Mein Mann hat eine kleine Fischdose auf einer Platte serviert bekommen. Dazu 3 Scheiben Baguette und 2 kleine Dips. Dafür dann über 10 € bezahlt. Ein Witz.... Die Calimari mit Dip waren okay.
