Spitzkrug in Werneuchen

The staff is becoming increasingly unfriendly... I don't know why they're so conceited... the staff seem extremely annoyed when you ask questions... then you order catering, and the staff says Spitzkrug doesn't do catering... and we only had it in September... and the worst part: then you have to get your catering from Jahnsfelde without fuel because it wasn't ordered... honestly, with catering, the question doesn't even arise. Honestly, if you're fed up with it anymore, you should just close one of the two restaurants... Tiefensee won't have us as guests anymore... terrible, it's getting worse and worse...

The rooms were clean and pleasant, the breakfasts could be better. I have been to this hotel several times, I always get a different room and in each of them I had problems with WiFi.

We'll never come back there!!!!!!@Incredibly unfriendly waiters. Just because we didn't order in advance we were called "stupid". What a disgrace.

The Spitzkrug restaurant at the B 158 roundabout in Tiefensee is definitely worth a visit for a meal. A wide range of dishes are offered with very tasty and fresh ingredients. The service is courteous and friendly. MUST STOP.

In wonderful weather we had a table outside on the terrace. The service came immediately, was pleasantly friendly and took our order. The food looked and tasted very good. We were able to pay by card, but without a tip. We then gave that in cash. Tips are shared between the service and the kitchen. Very good.

Good food with quick service at a fair price. Unfortunately, the fried potatoes are always quite greasy.

We only recently discovered this restaurant because it was too remote (for us). There is an honest pearl hidden here, super delicious food at very good prices. Rustic atmosphere and traditional food.

We were passing through and wanted to spontaneously go for lunch in Tiefensee - without a reservation. Unfortunately, we were so annoyed by the completely unfriendly service staff that we left the restaurant in shock and will definitely not be coming back.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. I always order the same dish: pork medallion with Camembert. As soon as I ordered, I noticed a hectic atmosphere in the service area. Before we could even sit down, we were asked what our drink preferences were. The waiter's unkempt fingernails were particularly annoying. The food was plentiful, but the Camembert was inedible: lukewarm and rubbery. I complained about this to the waiter, who told me that he had never received such a complaint. He then chatted with the cook. It turned out that the chef knew that the Camembert had not been prepared in the usual way. The waiter apologized to us. The pork medallion tasted good and the price-performance ratio was reasonable.

I was here for one night on business, everything was getting pretty old. Unfortunately the room was dirty. Thick dust on the edges, plus 3 spiders, cobwebs and here and there a few dead mosquitoes from apparently last year, not yet in season. Mold in the bathroom was also part of it. The food was quite good, except for breakfast. Every now and then you had a line of WiFi, as quickly as it was there it was gone again, in the room of course - therefore not usable.

Restaurant is great. Always worth a visit. Clean, tasty and friendly. This is how a restaurant should be. Thank you very much

We didn't visit the hotel, but we did visit the restaurant. The food is sensational, the value is excellent, and even the service is exceptionally friendly.

We ate there on February 14, 2025. The food was very tasty and very plentiful. The inside of the restaurant had been lovingly renovated. The waitresses weren't very welcoming, but they were painfully nice.

Stopped in while passing through and promptly got a table. The food was delicious and the staff was nice. Points are deducted for the toilets, they could be cleaner. We noticed in the car afterwards that we smelled very strongly of food, but we didn't really notice it inside. Our jackets had to go in the washing machine. Price wise it was okay

Very great hearty and classic/German cuisine.

We can't say anything about the rooms because we haven't seen them. But the food there was super tasty, great service and great value for money! It is advisable to reserve a table at lunchtime. Well located at a roundabout, it's worth a stop.

I can't say anything about the hotel rooms, we never stayed there. We've eaten there several times, but our last visit was six months ago. We were always very satisfied with the food. The plate was always well filled and it tasted good. Price performance was completely ok. The ambience at the tables in front of the counter could be improved. Everyone should make their own judgment and just stop and go inside.

Restaurant not recommended. The dining room smells like a frying chamber. There are hardly any vegetarian options and the composition is absolutely tasteless. Taste absolutely horrible. Service overwhelmed/quite unfriendly. Waiting time for the food was almost an hour and a half.

Ambiance kept very sporadic, very old-fashioned. Waiting time 50min. Food was cold, just thrown carelessly onto the plate and the components didn't fit together at all. Like mass processing there. Not recommended.

Everything tasted very good on the first visit and on the second Everything was too salty during our visit. We were very disappointed because we were really looking forward to our second visit and thought we could eat well here. The toilets also needed a general overhaul The radiators also need to be cleaned. We won't come back a third time, it's a shame.

Simple country hotel with a large restaurant.

A new discovery for me personally. I've been driving past it for years. Lovely rural charm and great food...highly recommended.

Wanted a table for two people at 7:15 p.m., apparently no longer possible. Restaurant in the front area swept empty. Behind it there are a few guests. Waiter apparently overwhelmed. Apparently you don't want to make money there. The whole guest room smells like grease, we were only in there for 5 minutes and the smell lasted forever in the car.

Have been eating here regularly for several years. Have always had very good experiences. The kitchen is particularly recommended. Good food and very nice staff. Greetings from the German-speaking Swiss.

The kitchen is highly recommended, well prepared food, counter staff is a bit overwhelmed and needs some training, espresso is served with a small amount of water. Service at the table was friendly. We were passing through and had lunch. Fish and duck very tasty and reasonably priced.

Hornets in the room, it's obvious that it's an old problem because there are traces on the curtains. Dirty rooms and towels. I don't recommend it.

One night with breakfast. Rooms functionally furnished. Bathroom: Shower hose defective and visible calcification on the drain pipe from the sink. The breakfast selection could be better. Conclusion, there is still room for improvement.

We visited the restaurant to dine there. The wait was about 50 minutes even though the restaurant was only about 60% full. I'm happy with the price and the food tasted good too. However, it was very warm in the restaurant, the outside temperature was 33 °C, so we were sweating profusely.

The restaurant is always busy because the food is really tasty and most of the dishes are reasonably priced. Service is also very nice! There will be a next time soon!

Nice service and nice terrace. I ordered a pork knuckle and a beer there and got both in a short time. The pork knuckle was not only huge, but also very tender and extremely tasty. I would come back there at any time.

Were there for the first time today. 4 adults and 2 children. Reservations recommended! It was pretty crowded. The portions were large so you'll feel full. Bourgeois cuisine. Eisbein was excellent. Roast venison excellent. Matjes excellent. Prices are fair for both sides based on the quality and size of the portions. We will come back, it was incredibly delicious!

Sehr gutes leckeres Essen und auch Preis/Speisen Verhältnis ist voll okay. Zügige nette Bedienung trotz sehr gut besuchter Gaststätte. Am Ambiente könnte noch etwas gefeilt werden damit es noch uriger und gemütlicher wird. Man kann auch vorhandenes erneuern oder aufpeppen ( z.B. die Stores ,hingen ziemlich traurig 😢 da). Ich denke da haben Chefs sowie Personal noch ein paar gute Ideen. Kommen gerne wieder. T.Q.

Wir wollten Sonntags schön Kaffee und Kuchen essen gehen und hielten im Spitzkrug an. Die Kellner hetzten über die Chefin und waren sehr mit sich beschäftigt!!! Als Kuchen bestellten wir Apfeltorte. Er wurde sodann heiß gebracht. Unsere Nachfrage, wie Torte und Teller heiß seien können wurde missachtet. Der Kuchen kam aufgetaut aus der Mikrowelle . Auf Nachfragen kam nichts. Also nicht zu empfehlen. Schlechter Service und Kuchen aus der Mikrowelle

Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen, Essen ist voll lecker und reichlich. Sehr schön angerichtet und perfekt abgeschmeckt. Es ist ein Gaumenschmaus

Wir hatten Hunger! Wir haben gespeist, wir waren glücklich. Auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant am 1. Mai 2023 stießen wir auf den Spitzkrug. Die Bedienungen waren sehr nett, und hatten, wie für uns Brandenburger üblich einen flotten Spruch auf den Lippen. Der eine und andere Lacher ist hier gesichert, sodass man mit guter Laune das Restaurant verlässt. Zu essen gabs Schnitzel mit Spargel zur Saison und ein Rumpsteak, dazu ein 0,3 Berliner und eine Coke. Die Preise sind ortsüblich und fair.

Der große Saal des Restaurants hat eigentlich den Typ Bahnhofshalle. Trotzdem kann man sich am Tisch gut unterhalten. Essen ist qualitativ sehr gut und reichlich. Preise angemessen. Für Kinder ist auch was passendes dabei. Über die Speisekarte kann man sich mal Gedanken machen. Ich habe den Eindruck,das ist eine "Dauerspeisekarte", abgesehen von speziellen Speisen zu Weihnachten, Ostern... Der Schaukasten mit der Speisekarte am Eingang könnte mal eine Frischekur vertragen. Service sehr gut. Kartenzahlung ist möglich. Alles in Allem empfehlenswert.

Ausgezeichnete bodenständige Küche mit "nochmal" Faktor.

Über Zimmer kann ich nichts berichten. Wir waren zum Weihnachtsessen hier. Rein geschmacklich sind die Speisen gut. Preis-Leistung an sich ist auch ok, ABER 2x wurde die selbe Person vergessen. Erst mit Getränken, dann mit der Hauptspeise. 20min hats dann nochmal gedauert. Teilweise alte Zutaten werden benutzt, wie auf dem Bild zu erkennen ist. Suppe war nur gutgemeint noch "warm", von heiß keine Spur. Der Kellner wirkt neben der Spur. Service kaum gegeben, da man immer selbst auf Getränkemamgel aufmerksam machen musste. Schade. Guter Geschmack wird so kaputt gemacht.

Es wäre gut ,wenndie Küchengerüche nicht ins Restaurant ziehen,sondern gleich von der Küche nach draußen. Sonst richen die Sachen sehr stark danach . Das ist reichlich und schmeckt 👍.

Wir waren gestern Abend mit drei Personen im Spitzkrug beim Abendessen. Die Speisekarte hat eine sehr große Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken, da dürfte für jeden etwas dabei sein. Das Essen hat sehr lecker geschmeckt und war ansehnlich zubereitet. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und schlussendlich die Preise waren auch akzeptabel, rund um ein gelungener Abend.

Essen super gut angenehme Preise. Nettes Personal wirklich. Uns hat es gefallen und wir werden wiederkommen.

Wir waren Samstags Abend zum Essen. 2 Erwachsene und ein Hund. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Essen ausgezeichnet. Unser Hund bekam Leckerlies und Wasser angeboten. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Dieser Abend und der freundliche Campingplatz werden uns an unser Wochenende in Berlin in positiver Erinnerung bleiben.

Die Zimmer waren nicht sauber. Nicht gut gesaugt, die Betten fusselig, die Bettwäsche hatte einen merkwürdigen Eigengeruch, das Bad in unserem Zimmer hatte nicht seinen besten Tag (nicht sauber, kalkig+Schimmel in der Dusche) Das essen am Abend war sehr lecker. Das Frühstück war übersichtlich, ok. Die Servicekraft zum Frühstück war nett und bemüht. Service-Buchung.. wirkte nicht gut organisiert. Trotz mehrmaligen Abgleich, unserer Zimmer per Mail und telefonisch, war immer wieder ein Fehler drin. Es wirkte chaotisch.

Wir hatten geschmacklich gutes und reichliches Essen. Leider war es neben der Eingangstür recht zugig und die Kundenorientierung, uns einen anderen (weiter entfernten) Tisch zu überlassen war dem Servicemitarbeiter nicht gegeben. Schade.

Wir waren dort Mittag essen und es war ein absoluter Hochgenuss, einfach nur fantastisch. Eine tolle Auswahl, man konnte sich kaum entscheiden 😅 das außerwählte war grandios. Kompliment an den Küchenchef 👍🏻

Wir waren dort Abendessen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen waren reichlich. Bei gutem Wetter kann man hier auch schön draußen sitzen und einen Eisbecher essen.

Interessante Speisen, moderate Preise.

Das Hotel ist schön. Die Zimmer sind groß und ruhig. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Das Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Abends waren wir im Restaurant, wir haben einen Tisch bei Ankunft für Abend reserviert, was Sinn macht. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Vielen Dank, gern wieder.
