We drive past this restaurant regularly and have been meaning to finally try it for a long time. Today was the day and it was a fantastic decision! After we came in we had to ask for a table, but after that everything went smoothly. The atmosphere was simply impressive. The room we sat in was huge and beautifully designed, almost like a cozy mountain cabin 🏔️. The wooden beams and half-timbering gave the room a rustic yet elegant charm. The ceiling height was enormous - at least two stories high - and a large, eye-catching lamp hung majestically from above, giving the room a special aura. There is also a large fireplace, which wasn't lit at this time of year, but I can imagine it providing a cozy atmosphere on colder evenings. The room would also be ideal for company or Christmas parties 🎄. I ordered the venison goulash and it was a true masterpiece! Even the first bite reminded me of my childhood - the intense flavors, the tender meat and the perfectly balanced sauce were simply heavenly 🍽️. The red cabbage had an excellent consistency and the dumplings went perfectly with it. Each element on the plate was a highlight in itself and together it created a true taste explosion 💥. It was a culinary delight in which everything was just right. The others at the table were also thrilled: the baked potato with salad was crispy and fresh 🥗, the schnitzel was perfectly crispy and juicy 🍖, and the Königsberger meatballs with capers and puree were a real highlight. Everything was lovingly prepared down to the last detail, and you could taste the passion of the kitchen in every bite ❤️. A small downer: There was some dirt on the edge of my root beer bottle, which of course wasn't that nice. However, the service was so attentive that I'm sure this was an exception. Particularly positive: the children were also taken into account 👶. The service was friendly and flexible, and special requests were fulfilled without any problems. This makes the restaurant particularly family-friendly 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. In my opinion, it would be a great addition if there was a separate vegetarian section on the menu 🌱. That would round off the offer perfectly and offer even more choice for everyone who wants to avoid meat 🍽️. It was also practical that the building is easily accessible and there is enough parking space on site 🚗. This makes the journey very comfortable and stress-free. I rarely write reviews, but after this fantastic meal I just had to 😋. If you are looking for a restaurant that not only serves great food but also has an impressive atmosphere, then I can highly recommend this place. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! 😍

For example, there is pork knuckle in summer and winter, it's a large portion for €16.50 The prices are OK and you will be full. I'll go again next time. Thanks

Large portions, something for everyone who loves German cuisine.

The only restaurant in town... You could rest on that... But you don't do that there!! We have now been to the nearby campsite several times and to the Spitzkrug for the second time. On our last visit last year we only had a quick wheat beer. Last Monday we finally went to dinner and didn't have any great expectations, despite the positive reviews... (less expectations, less disappointment...) We were welcomed very warmly, in a friendly Brandenburg-Berlin way. We even got a reserved table…:-)) Drinks were chilled, the waitress was in a good mood and ready to have fun and quick-witted. The food was very good (took less than 15 minutes), every ingredient on the plate was freshly prepared. Portions absolutely sufficient. We will now stop by every 14 days...Thanks for the separate ice cubes..

As always, it was a very nice dinner together. The menu offers something for every taste. All dishes were freshly prepared and very tasty. The service was very friendly and accommodating. I can highly recommend!

The food is completely delicious. The cuisine is mostly typically German. The portions are very sufficient and nicely decorated. The only small negative point... you smell the cuisine after eating. A reservation for the weekend and before and on public holidays is more than recommended

Actually quite ok... I ordered a dish with 3 pork medallions with cheese gratinated in Gorgonzola cream sauce and butter noodles with mushrooms and broccoli. It tasted good so far, but I was a little disappointed that there was no broccoli in the dish, instead there were carrots, zucchini and an indefinable vegetable... What I also didn't like was that the gorgonzola cream sauce only tasted like pure cream. I think if I don't have any ingredients left in stock, you could ask the guest if he would like something different or if it's okay to do it that way.. .especially with the fairly decent prices for the small portion of €16.90, you would simply expect something better... Oh, what was also noticed was that the cutlery at our table was very dull and the tip of my knife was broken off and several edges were broken the cutting edge in it

Waren zu viert dort. Getränke und Essen kamen sehr flott, obwohl es recht voll war. Qualität des Essens war sehr gut. Jederzeit gern wieder. Speisekarte sehr abwechslungsreich.

Das Ambiente ist gut aber nicht herausragend gegenüber anderen Restaurants. Alles war sauber, sogar die Deko im Regal. Das Essen war heiß, köstlich und reichlich. Auch die Auswahl war groß. Da sollte für jeden etwas dabei sein. Der Service war freundlich fix. Das Restaurant war wirklich gut besucht aber alles kam zeitnah an den Tisch. Großer Dank an das Personal. Wir sind jedes Jahr am 30.12. zum Geburtstag dort und wurden in all den Jahren nie enttäuscht.

Essen top, auch zum Mitnehmen, Bedienung freundlich und schnell. Terrasse vorhanden, allerdings unmittelbar am Kreisverkehr, aber OK. Extrawünsche beim Essen schwierig. Allgemein aber empfehlenswert.

Retro-Ostalgie vom feinsten. Für mich allerdings ziemlich ungewöhnliche Speisen. Herzliche Menschen, aber eher etwas "ruppig". Alles in allem ein "kann man mal machen", aber kein "muss man gesehen haben".
