We had two wonderful evenings in a row with excellent service, delicious and plentiful food, and a magnificent view of Radebeul 😃

We went there for dinner. The location is simply magnificent with its stunning view. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The staff is very friendly, polite, and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back.

The bald bartender arrogantly documented the hair in the food, saying: "Do you think that's from me...?" Absolutely unacceptable. This is no way to improve the establishment.

The pre-event unfortunately took up an hour of our time. We would have loved to stay longer. It was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and even entertaining, which was a lot of fun. The venue was beautifully decorated, and the atmosphere in the evening was wonderful. The view was simply breathtaking; you could easily have gone there just for that. And the food, the most important part last, was the icing on the cake – appetizers, main course, dessert, everything was absolutely delicious. Thank you!

My parents had invited friends and family to lunch on December 10th to celebrate my mother's 87th birthday. They proudly announced, "We've made a reservation at the Spitzhaus." Until now, it had been a very special place for us to enjoy special occasions. The visit was a disappointment. We first ordered still water, and the waitress said, "I'll bring you a carafe." When I asked what it was we were supposed to drink, as there was no label, the waitress replied, piqued, "This is our good Radebeul water." We had been served tap water without being asked, at €6 per liter. When we asked for mineral water, they remarked that it was more expensive. Did we look like poor people? The menu offers a meager selection of dishes. The pike-perch and sauerbraten were lukewarm, tasteless, and the price/performance ratio was completely out of whack. After our first delicious visit in the fall, we decided to try the goose at Christmas time. No sooner said than done... The presentation by Marco, who completely gutted the goose, was magnificent. Overall, the service was fantastic, and the view was unparalleled. We will definitely be back! It was simply delicious!!!!!

We were there today with the family for goose dinner. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. It was our parents' birthday present. From the festively set table to the super friendly and attentive service, to the incredibly delicious food, everything was perfect. Thank you for your wonderful work; you helped make us feel completely at ease. We'll definitely be back.

The view from the restaurant is unique and breathtaking. The service was also fine. I just find the prices a bit excessive... paying €6 for a liter of water is quite steep, and when you mention it, the answer is: "You can also order still sparkling water for €10."

We were invited here by Grandma for her 85th birthday. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the view is sensational. We also had beautiful weather. The menu doesn't have too many dishes, but there's something for everyone. The dishes were all very tasty... (I was able to sample some of the leftovers). All in all, we felt very comfortable.

Great view and location. That's about it, though. Parking is a bit tricky but manageable. Unfortunately, it's absolutely not child-friendly; we were "politely" asked to go outside because children were disturbing the other guests. No thanks ;)

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the manager, who, despite the restaurant being fully booked, managed to find us a wonderful table – thus creating a memorable moment for a 96-year-old lady. The cappuccino was excellent, the staff absolutely professional, and it was immediately apparent that the restaurant now has customer-oriented and respectful management again. We had missed this so much over the past six years and hadn't eaten there for that reason. And now they have regular opening hours again; we'll be back!

Our waitress, in particular, was simply fantastic: warm, professional, and with a genuine sense for her guests. The food was beyond convincing – every dish a delight, perfectly seasoned, lovingly presented, and of the highest quality. You immediately notice that the cooking here is done with passion and skill. The ambiance is also dreamy – stylish, cozy, and with a fantastic view that perfectly rounds off the evening. We felt completely at home and have rarely had such a harmonious meal. Very good restaurant, friendly staff and very tasty cuisine.

Highly recommended, especially for couples. If a private room is available, definitely book one. The view is absolutely dreamy - especially as darkness falls. Very inviting, friendly and courteous greeting from the staff, our table was even upgraded from outside to inside, cozy and modern ambiance, tables very clean. The food is of absolutely top-notch quality. All courses are very attractively presented. The side dishes for the beef cheeks, personally, were not a good match for the meat. The wine list is good and very well-stocked. Regarding the service: The staff was very dedicated, extremely courteous, and incredibly friendly. However, the mayonnaise on the fries was forgotten, even after we asked for it, and the house special unfortunately came after the appetizer (a high-level nitpicking). Parking in front of the restaurant is a bit limited, but given the location, it's impossible to do otherwise. If you're willing to walk about 200 meters, there are actually plenty of options. About 50 meters towards the dead-end street, there's a viewpoint offering a priceless view of Dresden. A great spot for a digestif afterward ;)

We were privileged to attend a wedding there. We were already familiar with the location and the cuisine. However, we were so impressed by the service that day and the quality of the food that I personally spoke to the proprietor and expressed my praise. Please keep going and don't let this get you down.

We ventured up to the Spitzhaus on foot and were rewarded both visually and culinarily. The food and drink selection has something for everyone; even special requests are accommodated, and vegans can simply let the kitchen conjure up something for them. The staff is very friendly and caters to their guests in a pleasant and individualized way. You immediately feel at home and don't feel rushed. The ambiance is cozy and friendly. And if you can sit outside in nice weather, you have a wonderful view of the vineyards. We will definitely stop here again on our next visit to Radebeul.

Lovely place for a late summer wine

Such a wonderful view of the Elbe floodplains of Dresden and Radebeul. Top-notch. Very friendly staff, who are unfortunately a bit downcast, as strict city regulations severely restrict opening hours and bar service (10:00 p.m./9:30 p.m.), which is absolutely not in keeping with this gem!

It was reserved for 8:30 p.m., and we had indicated when making the reservation that we would also like something to eat. Arriving at 8:20 p.m., we were immediately informed in a very friendly manner that the kitchen was about to close, and the way they presented this information left no doubt that they had absolutely no desire to serve us. That was probably my first and last visit.

We had reserved a table for 8:30 p.m. for work reasons. The phone call was very friendly and accommodating, and we were assured that it wouldn't be a problem. We were immediately accused of arriving just before the kitchen closed (40 minutes before the official kitchen closes) and that they didn't even want to serve us. I would have liked to try the food, but we were so offended that we left immediately. I've never been treated so badly.

Super nice place. Service was perfectly fine. Good, home-style cooking. Had sauerbraten. Really delicious.

We ate here yesterday. Overall, the portions were adequate and well-sized. However, we unfortunately can't recommend the zander. For almost €30, we expected a full main course – instead, we got a huge plate with just a small zander fillet and some rice. Only a quarter of the plate was filled, the rest empty. At first, we thought there would be a side dish, but that was all. It's definitely not enough for one adult, and we were quite disappointed. It's a shame, because otherwise, everything was perfect.

The view is truly magnificent. On the terrace, you scan a QR code to place your order, so the starter arrives at the same time as the main course. While you're eating the starter, the main course gets cold, and an enormous number of flies land on the main course. The juice was fermented, and after I asked for it back, the same juice came back to the table. The salad was drowning in the dressing, and the meat was soaked with tendons that it was almost impossible to eat. Here, too, our complaints were ignored.

Perfect and enjoyed the view next door

Highly recommended, as the food is still very good (including the Caesar salad with very aromatic, crispy chicken pieces;) We sat on the middle terrace in perfect weather with a gentle breeze, which was very pleasant! Unfortunately, you can't drink coffee with milk here; they serve inedible powdered milk! It's a real shame. When I complained about this, one of the waiters responded evasively and opinionatedly, with no accommodating response at all. A shame. Still, overall, a lovely evening in a pleasant atmosphere with a beautiful view :)

Beautiful with a magnificent view

I visited your restaurant today. Yes, the view is truly breathtaking—the city is at your feet. But that's where all the positives end. The food—an absolute disgrace. How can you even serve dishes in such a state? I ordered a Caesar salad, and instead of chicken, there were charred, blackened pieces that were completely inedible. Are you out of your mind? Do you even look at what you serve to your guests? It seems as if no one in the kitchen cares about quality. This is not only unacceptable—it's humiliating for the guest. Fix this immediately before people start talking about your "standard" and giving you the widest berth.

What a beautiful place to visit.

We sat on the beautiful panoramic terrace. There's now a QR code on the table, which we have to use to fill our shopping cart, rather tediously, like with online shopping. I was proud to have managed it despite my age of over 80. After several minutes, a "lively" waitress came over and wanted to take our order. "Oh, yes, the table has ordered." I don't think this kind of customer service is winning us any friends. We accordingly kept the tip portion for the order.

Even the very last-minute requests were realized with sensitivity and professionalism. We would also like to express our special thanks for the outstanding dishes from the kitchen. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed their meals.

Wonderful "refreshment" in a wonderful area

The walk is worth it. The Spitzhaus itself looks fantastic. You could even eat inside. Judging by the notices, the prices seem reasonable given the view. But we didn't go inside. A few steps further is the Bismarck Tower, with a fantastic panoramic view of the valley. A few more steps, there's a loooong staircase leading down. Truly beautiful.

So sensationell wie das Spitzhaus mit seiner Aussicht gelegen ist, so kann auch das Restaurant selbst, der super freundliche Service ( ich glaube, besser geht es nicht mehr ) sowie das fantastische Essen bewertet werden. Wir haben uns wie bei Freunden von der ersten Minute an gefühlt. Unser Kellner hatte maßgeblichen Anteil daran....Danke an das gesamte Team. Macht weiter so....

The hotel is located above the vineyards and offers a magnificent view. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating in a pleasant setting. Friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, there are limited parking spaces.

The option to choose the right table (window, wall, fireplace room, etc.) was also fantastic. The food was simply outstanding and of a first-class standard. The restaurant has a reputation that is rarely found. The courtyard terrace offers fabulous views. If Leipzig weren't so far away, we would be visiting you more often.
