Very beautiful panoramic view near Dresden.

A great location...magnificent view...invites you to linger. The drinks are okay, although some are overpriced. For example, I think an Aperol Spritz in the self-service beer garden for €9.50 is exaggerated. The cake and the coffee were okay. The fries were unfortunately too salty and the waiter at the counter wasn't in the mood. But we didn't let it ruin our evening.

We had lunch there yesterday with a large group. I was thrilled. The waiter is a cool guy and he got everything together really well with his colleague. There was a bowl of water for the dog (no problem). We had to pre-order the food, but it was ok for around 40 people. It was well prepared, tasty and filling. Plus the view over the Elbe valley. Awesome. And not even overpriced.

Spontaneous visit to a restaurant for lunch on Whit Saturday We were not only impressed by the view over Dresden and Radebeul, but also by the excellent and warm service from the nice waitress with glasses, who recommended the right wine to go with the delicious food. We'd love to come back.

After more than 6 years, I was here for a business lunch this time. The interior design has changed positively. The food was delicious again and the view over the Elbe valley is priceless anyway. Now to the staff...then as now, I had the feeling that people don't do this because it's their job, but because it's their calling and they have fun entertaining people! What made me particularly happy was that one waiter, whom I nicknamed the mastermind back then: Back then, after the 40x guests were no longer getting drinks at their seats but only at the bar at a late hour, he managed to know exactly which drink or type of wine everyone had previously drunk! ..was back! Dear management, let your employee read this, he will then know that it is him ;-) and congratulations on this great staff!

Very great restaurant, the best we've been to so far. You were warmly welcomed, there was a great atmosphere and you were regularly asked if everything was OK. A big compliment to the trainee there, Rebecca, who hosted us as guests with a lot of warmth and joy. We wish you much success in the further course of your training :) The chefs were great too, the view was perfect. A nice quiet music was played at the same time, so that you could also experience a bit of romance. We will be back! ☺️

Top food, very good service from the staff inside, the view is amazing... especially when the sun goes down. We cannot rate the rooms as we only enjoyed the restaurant.

After we arrived at the Spitzhaus terrace hungry after great disappointment (8:45 p.m.) and the kitchen had actually already closed, we were served very nicely and were given seasoned meat made with a lot of love. Many thanks to the entire team, we would be happy to come back.

Es war außergewöhnlich gut und etwas ganz besonderes!!! Das Frühstücken an so einem wunderschönen Tag auf dieser Terrasse mit diesem Blick ist ein absolutes Highlight! Ein Gläschen Sekt zur Begrüßung als herzliches Willkommen und dann ein sehr hochwertiges Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Aufmerksame und sehr freundliche Bedienung runden die Zeit ab. This review is for the Hofbistro. Our first visit was during the "Tag des Offenen Weinbergs" and the second time on an ordinary summer's weekday evening. On both occasions, we were rewarded with stunning views over Dresden, Radebeul, Niederwartha etc. We even spotted Fortress Königstein on our second visit. The Spitzhaus white wine is definitely a fine drop to enjoy and the meals may be simple, but filling and delicious. During our second visit, the sole staff member was doing everything, but with a smile and considerable ease. My New Zealand fiancé is still praising the Hofbistro, and the two wine glasses we bought as souvenirs and transported back safely (you may want to consider offering them up for sale like Hoflößnitz does), keep reminding him of the great time we spent there with my family.

You can fully recommend this restaurant without any stomach ache! The service is very pleasant and friendly. All of the food was top notch and definitely worth the price! When I'm in Dresden again I'll definitely stop by. Also to enjoy the brilliant view.

Und die Aussicht war auch super. Es gab reichlich Essen, die Portionen fielen reichlich aus. Und dafür sind die Preise angemessen gewesen. Wir waren zu 2. Da und haben 100€ da gelassen. Mit Getränken, Hauptgang, Desserts und Trinkgeld.Einen Gruß aus der Küche gab es anfangs auch noch.

We went to Spitzhaus for brunch today. The ambience is nice, the view is wonderful. Our waiter was always in a good mood and always had an easy-going saying. We really liked that. Unfortunately, we were told that you shouldn't eat so much for breakfast because most people don't eat much for lunch. We took this advice but were bitterly disappointed because the breakfast was really the best. We then looked forward to lunch with great anticipation. Unfortunately we were there for 40€ per person. Very disappointed with the offer and the quality of the lunch. We should have filled our bellies for breakfast. The desserts were quite good again. So it's a pretty decent visit, but it's still not what we'd hoped.

We were in the Spitzhaus restaurant. After a friendly greeting, we went to the reserved table with a view of the city. The service was quick, attentive and humorous. The food was absolutely fabulous. Wonderful aromas, well-portioned dishes and creative presentation made our evening more enjoyable. The quality of the food and service is of course reflected in the price that people are willing to pay for such care and such a view. We look forward to coming back to the Spitzhaus and wish you all the best until we see you again!

Worst snack ever. Inedible food

Schönes und freundliches Ambiente im Restaurant und vor allem bei Sonnenschein ein total toller und weiter Blick ins Elbtal. Das Buffet war sehr ansprechend gestaltet und das Essen sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker. Vor allem der Service ist hervorzuheben, weil unsere Bedienung sehr hinterher war mit dem Abräumen unseres Tisches und immer wieder mal vorbeigeschaut hat, um zu fragen, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Sie war sehr freundlich. :)

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Sonntagsbrunch! Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und schnell! Das Buffet war genial! Sehr gerne wieder!

In an exposed location with a great view of Dresden and a good selection of food and drinks, the service there is outstanding! We really enjoyed being guests here and will definitely come back.

A place that I always like to come back to because of the great view, but also to indulge in culinary delights in the restaurant. However, the beer garden also has its own charm.

We were on the terrace with a wonderful view over Radebeul and Dresden. The wines offered were light and fruity. The spritzer sparkled like Prosecco. A trip there is extremely worthwhile for the view alone.

A really good restaurant. I don't think I need to say anything else about the beautiful location. After the climb you can really reward yourself here. The service was great. Very nice waiters with an experience factor. The food was tasty and there was a sufficient portion. Unfortunately, the asparagus was not convincing. Unfortunately it was far too firm for my taste. I was able to return the asparagus without any problems and asked for one that had been cooked for significantly longer. Things worked out with the waiter without any problems. The longer waiting time is inevitable and was not noticed negatively. Unfortunately, the asparagus came back just as solid as when it started. It's probably a matter of taste, but after explicitly wanting to get raw asparagus again, it's a shame. Still a great shop for all other dishes!

A wonderful restaurant with a wonderful view of Radebeul. The restaurant itself is also very stylish and cozy. The panoramic windows create a great atmosphere. The unusual and delicious cuisine makes the experience even better. The service is also at a high level. The waiters (we had a great experience with - Lars) are very polite and explain the dishes in the menu professionally. I recommend this restaurant for special occasions and romantic dinners!

Als "WiederMeissner " sahen wir das Spitzhaus in den letzten Monaten von unten und fanden die Lage ausgezeichnet. Nun haben wir es von innen "oben" erlebt und waren sehr angetan. Zum Mittagessen begrüßte uns der Ober wirklich sehr freundlich und über die Forelle und den Wein können wir nur positives sagen. Alles sehr geschmackvoll wie "zuhause". Unser Platz direkt am Fenster erlaubte bei schönen Wetter eine gigantische Aussicht auf Dresden und Umgebung. Da wir das Spitzhaus von früher vor ca. 60 Jahren kennen, kann man nur sagen:"Danke für das,was da oben entstanden ist" inmitten der Weinberge neben dem Bismarkturm und der Spitzhaustreppe.Für Interessierte gibt es ja noch die Terasse mit Selbstbedienung.An der Aussicht geht da nichts verloren.

Besonders zu erwähnen unsere Bedienung Marcel , der super höflich und professionell war auch als Gäste am nebentisch sehr unfreundlich waren ist er super nett und freundlich geblieben. Even 1 star is too much, staff sucks!!! We came across heavy rain and thunderstorms while hiking and then wanted to go into the anteroom to seek shelter. We were LITERALLY pushed out... when we asked if we could order something to drink, the answer was "there isn't!" Very irresponsible, for me this shed is dead.

We celebrated a 90th birthday there yesterday. The Spitzhaus impresses not only with its unprecedented, fantastic location and breathtaking views. The service deserves double the stars if possible. We were not only served with a lot of friendliness and passion, but we were also well looked after. A big compliment and keep it up.

Es war wieder ein wunderschöner Brunch im Spitzhaus...leckerem, sehr vielfältigen Angeboten vom Essen, da ist für jeden was dabei und sehr reichhaltig !! Sehr schön fanden wir, dass wir nach dem Frühstück das Restaurant verlassen durften um ein paar Schritte zu gehen, um danach nochmal die Mittagsangebote durch zu probieren... es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und das zu einem gutem Preis - Leistungsverhältnis. Das Servicepersonal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das muss man wieder mal machen, lohnt sich!!

We went for Sunday brunch and were more than pleasantly surprised. Look at the beautifully prepared and delicious food, courteous service, and a sensational view. And best of all, you can leave the house for a walk during brunch and then come back. We recommend. We will be back!

The only good thing: the beautiful view. After an afternoon walk in the cold, we actually wanted to have a nice hot drink here and maybe eat something, depending on what was on offer (maybe cake? Or something savory?). Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to sit down, even though a few people were sitting there, and we would have had to stand in front of the front door with to-go cups in sub-zero temperatures, as they don't open with “a la carte” until 5 p.m. Well, we were there at 4 p.m. and would have been gone before other customers arrived, if that was the case. It's a shame, the view from inside is definitely nice, unfortunately everything is dark at 5 p.m. in winter.

The service was really substandard. The (drunk?) waiter's comments were pretentious and unjustifiably chummy. He only poured wine from the bottle to 2 out of 3 people. The steak was quite dry. We certainly won't be coming back.

Found it on google looking for a nice place to eat. It is a gem hidden in the alley - amazing view, perfect service. I hope that in the future, I will have the opportunity to come back, and if not , I will make one anyway.

The restaurant is in a very good location with a great view. We had reserved and were greeted very friendly, escorted to the table and served. Afterwards we enjoyed the wonderful view from the terrace. I can only recommend it, but make a reservation.
