Wonderful view and delicious food

Restaurant with a great view. Lunch was excellent. No long waits. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is beautifully situated on a hill surrounded by vineyards. The view of Dresden and Radebeul is stunning. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. The terrace is currently fantastic. You can eat and drink wine there. You can order there using a QR code, but a friendly waiter took our order. Parking is available directly at the restaurant or a little further down the street. You can also walk uphill from Radebeul.

Still worth a trip, not only because of the great view, but also because of the very good food. Ate really well, enjoyed great service, what more could you want... Thanks for the great time!

My experience was rather negative. Not everyone in our group had an internet-enabled device. After asking, a friendly waitress took pity on giving us a paper card with which we could place our order partly via the app and partly from person to person. Unfortunately, a drink that we had already paid for via the app was lost. Luckily the waitress was able to help us. All in all, I'm disappointed because something like this reminds me more of McDonald's than a famous tourist restaurant.

Beautiful view. Very nice atmosphere. The ice cream sundae was very simple in terms of design and quality. For ice cream it is better to go to an ice cream parlor. Latte was also below my expectation. We didn't try the warm dishes. The employees were super nice. A very nice place that we would like to visit again.

Many thanks to the entire Spitzhaus team for organizing the 90th birthday of our cool mom, grandma and great-grandma. The ambience itself is beautiful, but the team, kitchen and service do the rest to make a celebration a very special experience. The food was excellent and the price-performance ratio was absolutely fine. All our guests were thrilled, the children had fun and grandma was happy. Special thanks to our friendly waiter.

The Spitzhaus has a unique location in the Dresden area with a fantastic view. The food and the service are top, here we don't just rest on the premium location, but rather make an effort to meet expectations.

The waiter was very nice, we rarely found such nice service in Saxony. Wine and views delicious.

Went here for brunch today, absolutely recommended with a delicious breakfast offering, duck, zander, sirloin and dessert and cake for dessert. Drinks such as coffee and tea and apple and o juice cost 43 euros. Nice service especially Lars

The location and the view are unbeatable. Unfortunately, the procedure on the courtyard terrace has been changed. Here you are lost without a cell phone. There is only snack food downstairs, you have to order via QR code at the tables with numbers upstairs. Help was offered, but I don't think the development is good, especially for older people. Despite the nice weather there was little going on. That should give you something to think about.

If you want to enjoy a special day, the Spitzhaus is ideal.

Great evening for my sister-in-law's wedding, the waiters know how to have fun, the food is delicious and the ambience easily deserves 6 stars.

Unfortunately we had better memories of the Spitzhaus. We were there for a “coffee” over Easter. Other than this wonderful view, there was nothing else to recommend. The iced coffee we ordered took over 20 minutes to arrive, and by the time it was served the ice had already melted. The spiced meat was baked for more than a long time and the taste was not a highlight for this location. Price-performance is not proportionate. The toilets are not maintained and the brushes should have been replaced a long time ago. I also wonder why this is the case at this location. You get the feeling that many restaurateurs now only benefit from the location or view and don't put the effort into service, quality or good cuisine. The staff neither asked whether it was tasty nor did they spend long with the guest. Since ordering by cell phone is desired, this of course also saves the certain hospitality that one expects with this ambience and prices. Beer garden flair instead of an upscale ambience. It's a shame, we won't be coming back despite the view.

It's always an experience to stay anywhere in the vineyards in the Spitzhaus, to enjoy and have very good food and delicious drinks! STAFF, no matter when and what time of day....always very, very friendly! Dani W.

Very nice location on the vineyard with a great view. Service on the other hand is mediocre. Loveless service and stale filter coffee, where no one felt responsible and responded.

The Spitzhaus is located above Radebeul, nestled between the surrounding vineyards. It is easy to reach by car and there are parking spaces directly at the house, which also rents out rooms. If you want something a little more adventurous, you can park below the vineyards in the residential area and then climb the Spitzhaus stairs. As you climb up you have a wonderful view over Radebeul. We went there spontaneously for dinner on a Tuesday. Before that, we watched the sunset at the Bismarck Tower. The food and service were fantastic and left nothing to be desired. The staff lives and loves their job, which you could feel through their warmth. The view over Dresden to the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and the Königstein Fortress is worth it. We'll be back!!!

The view is great. Cashing in immediately after the food has been served, even before it has been eaten, with the justification “Otherwise the guests will leave us!” I find it disgraceful. Not recommended!

The terrace is an absolute insider tip and offers a great view.

Rude service outside on the terrace. After submitting our order, the waitress came to us and immediately asked for the money in a rude tone. He simply grabbed the remaining money without asking if we wanted it back. At the neighboring table he was very accommodating, in contrast to us! We were constantly under surveillance.

Went for Sunday brunch, very pleasant atmosphere, great view, service was great, breakfast part was very tasty, lunch was less - and above all the temperature was too low - cold food is unpleasant...

The food was absolutely inedible had to return it Service was nice, the location was very nice. But unfortunately I go to bed with an empty stomach, which serves my figure and my wallet. But that's not the point of the evening.

A destination that unfortunately always has different opening times. We (5 people) are in warm weather and bright sunshine, on SUNDAY, March 23rd, 2025 from Weinbergstr. Walked up to the Spitzhaus to enjoy coffee and wine and perhaps even more the view over the Elbe valley. Unfortunately the climb was once again in vain because the Spitzhaus was closed again. The opening times notice stated: SUNDAY open until 1:30 p.m.??? Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time we drove or walked there in vain as the opening times don't match the internet and are constantly changing. It's a shame for such a beautiful location and an otherwise popular destination. To our delight, the winery next door was open!

Great location with good cuisine. The service was nice and very attentive. Ideal place for a nice family dinner. Is also easily accessible on foot by public transport. 20 minutes on foot.

The view is priceless, but that's the only positive thing I can say. The waitresses address you informally. The food was abysmal; it tasted lukewarm and tasted nothing at all. My excitement for the piece of cake quickly vanished; it was dry, as if it had been left over from a lecture. I can't recommend it. And all this on International Women's Day, a complete disappointment.

A beautifully located restaurant with a terrace offering a fantastic view of the Elbe Valley. Very friendly staff! The only drawback was that our cappuccino was served without a saucer, which unfortunately doesn't match the ambiance and the price of the cappuccino!

We were given a beautiful, superbly prepared table with a fantastic view, the food was fantastic, and we were treated with great humor but with an extremely warm welcome. I've never experienced anything like this before. We accidentally lost control of our cell phone while ordering and told the friendly waitress! It wasn't a problem at all for her! But the lady with the blonde hair, light sweater, and glasses should perhaps be a little more careful with what she says when she comes downstairs! "They're just too stupid!" was her response!!! This kind of behavior is unacceptable! Then, while we were eating, I was asked how we wanted to pay! Strange behavior, they obviously didn't want to make any money off us! I think this was probably the last time we came here!

We went to Spitzhaus for brunch and sat wonderfully in a nice, somewhat separate booth. The brunch is divided into two parts, with no breakfast and then something hearty from half past twelve. The egg, truffle cheese, salami and cooked ham are excellent for breakfast. The scrambled eggs were tasty, but only lukewarm. We missed chroissants, filter coffee with coffee cream at the table could be replaced with fresh cappucino, latte macchiato, etc. O and A juice was plenty tasty. We were able to order sparkling water. The lunch buffet included duck, pike perch and pork. Vegetarian dishes included ravioli with tomato mozzarella, mountain cheese bread dumplings, risotto with pike-perch, dumplings with duck and red cabbage and sugar peas with pork. All dishes tasted freshly prepared, and I liked the mountain cheese bread dumplings best. All in all, the buffet brunch offers a good selection, certainly the perfect option for heavy eaters.

We gave our friends a €60 voucher for their silver wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, they wanted to redeem it shortly after the expiration date. Our friends were not able to use the voucher anymore. This has nothing to do with customer service!!!

The restaurant looks quite inconspicuous from the outside. Very idyllic, located directly on a vineyard, you can enjoy a wonderful view over Radebeul and Dresden. The parking situation on site is well resolved. The restaurant itself is very nice and cozy. It is discreetly lit and combines wood and modern accents to create a very special place. The on-site staff is excellent. The waiters are extremely friendly and accommodating. The advice on food and wine is also excellent. The memory card is not that big, but there is a good selection and you can always find what you are looking for. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine for the upper class. We had a wonderful evening there and can only recommend the restaurant. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

The place, the food, the service - Perfect!

I would like to thank you very much for the very good execution of my order for 22 people. The food was excellent, the idea of ​​serving a drink with the meal is very good. It takes away the guests' fear of ordering too much (even though my guests had the choice for that day anyway). The servers were also very good, you almost didn't feel them and what you wanted came quickly. Luckily they didn't blame us for being late. It wasn't intentional, but it wasn't easy to get everyone involved to the location and find parking spaces. Although the occasion was sad, I remember this day fondly because it ended very well thanks to your commitment. Can only recommend you. Very nicely located restaurant with overnight accommodation and a great view of Dresden and the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. The staff is very accommodating.

We went for coffee and cake. Everything was great, especially the view over the Elbe valley.

Ordered 2 seats at short notice in January for my birthday. I have to say I was there in May 2024 and was very satisfied there too. There's also a very nice man on the phone who makes you really happy to make a reservation. I wanted a place by the window and there were two of us in the bay window with a wonderful view. The service was very friendly and the food was fantastic. I would recommend the Spitzhaus at any time of the year and would love to come back myself.

A very very nice restaurant. We accepted an invitation for brunch. There was simply nothing missing. Breakfast slowly turned into lunch. Very tasty 😋. Fantastically beautiful location. Perfect from the food to the service. You can hardly do it better.

Essen und Service waren auf sehr hohem Niveau. Da gibt es absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Allerdings hatte ich in der Vorspeise 2, ca. 0,5cm messende, Scherben (zum Glück kein Glas sondern härteres Plastik), welche relativ scharfkantig waren. Dem Service habe ich dies natürlich mitgeteilt und ein recht teilnahmsloses "ich teile es der Küche mit" bekommen. Keine Entschuldigung oder gar Entschädigung. Eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit in Form eines kostenlosen Getränks oder Desserts, hätte ja völlig ausgereicht aber nichts dergleichen. Sowas ist gefährlich aber kann dennoch passieren. Nichtmal eine Entschuldigung zu bekommen, ist aber sehr ernüchternd. Schade in Anbetracht des sehr guten Essens und ansonsten super freundlichen Services.

Tolles Restaurant, mit wundervoller Aussicht, das Angebot ist vielfältig, die Speisen sind frisch und lecker, das Personal wirkt entspannt und fröhlich... sehr zu empfehlen!

Tolle Location, super lecker essen und natürlich sehr guter Service mit und von Lars… Leider gibt es immer noch andere Gäste (meistens ältere), die keine Handy Etikette besitzen und Gäste mit lauten Handytönen nerven.

Das Servicepersonal des Etablissements war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, kam immer wieder an den Tisch um zu schauen, ob alles in Ordnung ist, war jedoch nicht aufdringlich. Die Auswahl der Speisen war sowohl zum Frühstück, als auch zum Mittagessen sehr hoch. Von Herzhaft bis süß war alles dabei und geschmeckt hat es zudem auch sehr gut. Alles in allem nur zu empfehlen!

After six years, today we were guests again in this beautiful house. It was wonderful! It's changed a bit, but very appropriate, the map is a little smaller, but still very good, the team is always.not really good! Previously with a motorbike, now with a dog and what can I say, as soon as we sat down, the dog already had a bowl of water. Whether it's the seasoned meat or the duck with red cabbage, it tastes simply delicious! We would love to come back, thank you for allowing us to be guests in your great house.

After a really long hike with family and children, we were happy to finally be able to take a break and have something to drink and eat. The food was very tasty, the wine was good (further down the wine was a little better) but the view was just great (after the hike). The service (self-service) was very friendly. I can happily recommend it!

Wir hatten uns an einem Samstag spontan entschieden, ins Spitzhaus zu fahren und über die Onlinereservierung auch noch einen Tisch erhalten, was wirklich super gepasst hat. Die Auswahl ist etwas kleiner gewesen, aber wir konnten doch noch etwas finden. Das Essen war wirklich fantastisch lecker. Leider kam der Gruß aus der Küche genau mit dem Hauptgerichten. Das Essen war ausreichend und absolut sättigend. Wir haben noch ein Dessert bekommen und waren absolut gesättigt nachher. Der Service war natürlich an einem Samstagabend nicht der allerbeste, aber wir waren trotzdem zufrieden und froh, dass wir an einem Samstag Abend noch spontan etwas bekommen haben.

Reservierung und Bestätigung hat super geklappt! Ambiente des Restaurant sehr schön und immer wieder eine Reise wert!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Unser Tisch war sehr gut gewählt, in einer Nische am Fenster. Der herrliche Blick war der I- Punkt! Die Kellnerin strahlte Fröhlichkeit aus und wir wurden gut beraten. Das Essaen kam zügig und es war alles lecker...wie erwartet. Das ganze Ambietee hat uns gefallen und wir werden ganz sicher mal wieder dort zu Gast sein. Es war alles stimmig und ansprechend. Der Service war lobenswert, sehr nettes Personal dort.

Spontaneously and super helpfully, we stopped by on our Christmas winter hike to drink a mulled wine on the terrace, were warmly welcomed, looked after in an uncomplicated manner and warmly invited! Very, very great.
