Sehr zu empfehlen, gutes Essen nette Bedienung, der Preis ist bei manchen Speisen etwas zu hoch gegriffen. Aber das muss so sein, damit die Gastronomie überlebt.

Sehr empfehlenswert! Essen geschmacklich und qualitativ auf höchstem Niveau. Service sehr aufmerksam! Noch zu erwähnen - wir waren mit 3 Familien dort. Für die Kinder wurden uns Ausmalbilder und Stifte zur Verfügung gestellt und die Essen der Kinder wurden zuerst serviert. Kids happy 👍 TOP!

Das ist eine Geheimwaffe von Augsburg! Von außen wirkt wie ein Kebabhaus, aber drin fängt ein Wunder an! Sehr leckeres Fleisch, wie in meiner Kindheit, kleine Show beim Servieren, mega top! Danke!

Das Essen war köstlich, der Spieß war genau richtig, schön zart.

Sehr nettes Lokal mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Wir hatten zwei Fehler bei der Bestellung die sofort ohne Getue behoben worden. Die zwei Spieße waren sehr lecker und das Fleisch richtig, richtig gut. Wir kommen wieder wenn wir in der Nähe sind. Jetzt etwas. produktive Kritik. Das Flambieren der Spieße schaut zwar cool aus,aber durch das Aufhängen isst man die zweite Hälfte kalt. Die Bratkartoffeln waren etwas salzig und die grünen Bohnen geschmacklich langweilig. Das Brot lecker aber sehr ölig. Ambiente, Fleisch und Service haben aber alles rausgerissen. Die sehr nette, ausführliche und kritikfähige Antwort auf meine Rezension hat mich sehr gefreut.

Wir waren Samstag Mittag dort beim Essen welches sehr lecker war. Warum dann nur vier Sterne? Die Eckbank war total krümmelig (wir waren die einzigen und ersten Gäste, also war da nichts vom Gast gerade zuvor) und das Eis hatte doch paar Eiskristalle drin. Somit gute vier Sterne aber für fünf hats leider nicht ganz gereicht!

Sehr leckeres Essen und guter Service. Der vordere Raum ist für meinen Geschmack etwas ungemütlich - hinten aber sehr schön! Wir kommen gerne wieder :)!

Wir gehen gelegentlich mit Freunden dort essen. Sind jedesmal sehr zufrieden. Nette Bedienungen. Parken gegenüber im Parkhaus.

We had our small Christmas dinner here. It was very good, the service was very attentive, the meat was of very high quality, and the desserts were divine. We'll be back soon. Excellent place!

On Tuesday, I met up with friends for dinner at Spiesswerk. None of us are from Augsburg. I took it upon myself to find a good restaurant. After a quick Google search, I came across Spiesswerk: - easily accessible by car - food that's anything but ordinary - good reviews So, I reserved a table online and off we went. What can I say? It was a lovely evening with friendly, attentive staff, delicious food (skewers, of course!), and a great atmosphere. If I'm ever looking for a restaurant in Augsburg again, I'll definitely come back. If the parking garage across the street also had charging stations, that would be the icing on the cake.

Very tasty meat dishes – on a skewer or as a classic steak! My ribeye was truly delicious and perfectly cooked, and the side dishes of baked potato and green beans were delicious and filling. Some more upscale wines in the selection would be great, though…

Lighting the skewer right at the table was also a wonderful experience. The price/performance and quality are just right here. If we're ever in Augsburg again, we will definitely visit the Spießwerk. A very good restaurant, but this price increase is too high. It's a shame because we used to go there every week for a burger at lunch, but a price increase from €9 to €11.50 is too high.

A very nice restaurant and service that's rarely this excellent. A great experience with the skewer, but a bit cumbersome. But it's part of the experience when you eat here. Six of us were there, were served quickly, and didn't have to wait long, so everything was top-notch :)

Great food and very friendly service!

We're going there with friends for the first time and will be back. The meat on the skewer was fantastic, both rare and medium grilled. As side dishes, we highly recommend the side salad, jacket potato, and grilled vegetables. The flambé with the gin is a real eye-catcher. The house spice blend served at the table is fantastic, and we regretted not having brought a glass of it with us. We'll do that next time. The service was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We had a very pleasant evening and felt very comfortable.

Prices are on the high side, but completely normal for this quality (very good!!!)! Friendly, nice, attentive, and even fun service! We had made a reservation in advance for Friday evening. We'll definitely be back! We were just on a city trip to Augsburg.

The food was good, but I think it was too expensive. Service was friendly, but they often disappeared, probably at Aztekas, since they belong together. Overall, I'd say it wasn't bad, but nothing special either.

This place is just outside the crowded squares and streets in Augsburg, so it's not filled with tourists with no chance to find a free table. But the short walk to get here is totally worth it. The food is very good and not expensive, the meat is tasty and tender, and the skewers are worth every euro you pay. Totally recommended.

Perfect service & fantastic food – especially with children We received a friendly welcome as soon as we walked in – and were immediately asked if our children would like something to paint. This child-friendly service truly impressed us. The entire team was super attentive, warm, and simply fantastic! The highlight, of course, was the meat skewers – cooked to perfection medium-rare and flambéed right in front of our eyes. The taste was a dream! The sweet potato fries were also crispy and soft on the inside – just right. Our children had the schnitzel, which was beautifully crispy on the outside and wonderfully juicy on the inside – we've rarely experienced such a good children's menu. In conclusion: A restaurant that absolutely impresses with its cuisine and service – especially for families. We'll definitely be back!

Schon beim Reinkommen wurden wir freundlich empfangen – und direkt gefragt, ob unsere Kinder etwas zum Malen möchten. Dieser kinderfreundliche Service hat uns wirklich beeindruckt. Das gesamte Team war super aufmerksam, herzlich und einfach nur top! Das Highlight waren natürlich die Fleischspiesse – perfekt medium rare gebraten und vor unseren Augen flambiert. Geschmacklich ein Traum! Auch die Süßkartoffel-Pommes waren knusprig und innen weich – genau richtig. Unsere Kinder hatten das Schnitzel, das außen richtig schön kross und innen herrlich saftig war – selten so ein gutes Kindermenü erlebt. Fazit: Ein Restaurant, das kulinarisch und im Service absolut überzeugt – besonders auch für Familien. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

This was my first visit to this restaurant, and certainly not my last. Spiesswerk also exists in other cities. The concept includes, among other things, skewers on certain stands. The evening with the group was very, very successful – and the food and drinks were outstanding. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. Addendum: And the sweet potato sticks with garlic sauce, which other reviewers have already mentioned, are definitely delicious.

Anyone looking for good food in a cozy atmosphere will be in good hands here. Highly recommended.

Best Meat salad ever. You must taste it.

The food was very good, the restaurant was nicely decorated. All in all, it was good.

We were very satisfied. Friendly service, very tasty food. Our daughter's burger was impressively large, despite being on the children's menu, and she devoured it completely. The skewer was flambéed at our table upon request, which was very nice!

This place is amazing! Been here a view times and it never disappoints! The meat and shrimp skewers are delicious. Perfect taste, grilled to perfection and always tender. By now I have tried all side dishes and can highly recommend all of them. Also the "Garnelenpfännchen" is an absolute must try. Best to share with a group as an appetizer. Each time we were all too full to try desert so needless to say the portions are large and fairly priced. Service has been great and helpful.

Nothing extraordinary, but always worth a visit. The food, service, and ambiance are all top-notch. The food is served differently than usual. Delicious, well-cooked, and the steak is perfectly cooked. I highly recommend Spiesswerk; the value for money is absolutely excellent, and the integrated cocktail bar leaves nothing to be desired. We'll be back.

Definitely a highlight. Great taste. Service quick and professional. Dogs allowed (which is of course a plus). There's also a varied selection if you don't want a skewer (and the skewers don't just focus on meat, there are also black tiger prawns, for example). The only thing that could be improved here is the price, which is already very noticeable.

The two of us had dinner at the Spiesswerk in the evening. Ambiance: The ambience is simply elegant, as is typical of a steakhouse. The interior shines with dark, high-quality furniture and a dim atmosphere. The restaurant conveys a pleasant, appropriate flair as a whole. Only the very closely arranged groups of tables in an inherently cramped space can seem overwhelming. Service: The service was great all evening and couldn't be faulted. From the reception at the door to the accompaniment/allocation of the place to the actual service at the table, everything was perfect. Eat: What can you say here? The steaks were simply amazing. The desired cooking point would be reached perfectly, which is something you can certainly expect in a steakhouse. Price-performance: The prices are usually slightly higher depending on the location and the restaurant. The price/performance ratio is overall consistent. Conclusion: We ate very well at Spiesswerk and were very satisfied overall. We'd love to come back. Thank you.

Nice restaurant, great atmosphere, Meat is top! However, personally I think the service could be more guest oriented. That means: Order taken, everything friendly. Skewers are simply placed on the table without any further explanation. We continue with the serving of the main courses. Personally, I'm missing the icing on the cake here. The question of whether the skewer should be flambéed and then it is flambéed, but without emotion, without wishing you had a good appetite... It's a shame, I'm sure, that would also affect that Tipping has a positive effect...

Very nicely decorated restaurant. The food was wonderful, the meat was absolutely tender and the side dish (green beans) was perfectly seasoned. The tiny drawback this evening was the service, which was very accommodating, but unfortunately couldn't be found for very long stretches. I would have loved to order another drink, but unfortunately there was no one to be found and when a waitress came by, she left so quickly that my “Excuse me…” went unheard.

We were at the Spießwerk today (Boxing Day). Excellent service. Such a nice waiter on 12/25/24. Very high praise. The food was extremely tasty. It was the purest pleasure for the palate. And the show with the flambéed skewers was absolutely worth seeing. We will definitely be back because we were really impressed by the price-performance ratio, taste, ambience and service. Were there for the first time. Service was super friendly and attentive, answered every question precisely and came at pleasant intervals to check whether everything was still ok. The ambience is a 10/10. Interior design is very stylish and perfectly coordinated. It's a rather small restaurant so it doesn't seem that crowded. Acoustics in the room were nicely muted. Music may have been a little too loud. The food is very tasty. Prices are slightly high, but actually quite reasonable for the quality. Spiesswerk presents itself with its unique selling point, flambéed skewers of Angus beef, turkey, etc., it is a spectacle and at the same time culinary at the top level. At the same time, the menu offers enough choice so that everyone can find something for themselves, and yet it is not too detailed, which makes the decision easier. The side dishes in particular are very special and there is enough to choose from. We are very happy with our visit, it's just a shame that we didn't discover the restaurant sooner. 10/10.

Delicious food, friendly and quick service and a great atmosphere. The burger and skewer were very tasty, especially the aioli. The cheesecake could be improved (homemade + more strawberries or sauce), but it doesn't affect the rating. We would love to come back here 😊

I've been to the Spiesswerk several times now. Quality of the food is always very, very good. The waitresses are always very friendly and the food comes very early. Price wise for what you get, it's also completely reasonable. There is also a parking garage right next to the restaurant with free parking for up to two hours.

We had lunch there today for back to school lunch. What can I say? Service as friendly as rarely experienced anywhere, compliments. Food was very good, we had nothing to complain about. The atmosphere is very pleasant, almost a little intimate. So we can only recommend it.

The food was very good, both the meat and the side dishes. However, there was no service on site for the first 15 minutes. And the friendliness can also be argued, we had the feeling that everything had to be done quickly, ordering, paying, etc., even though the shop only had 2 tables. Wir waren mit 10 Personen im Spiesswerk und viele haben sie für den Burger entschieden. Leider waren alle Pattys total versalzen. Die Servicekräfte haben sich bemüht.

Out of 12 people, 11 people had ordered a burger. Unfortunately, each of us had to realize that these were practically inedible because they were completely salty. In the course of our protest, the table next to us also confirmed the same thing, and the burger was also noticed in the reviews here because of its extreme saltiness. The service staff replied in a relaxed manner that they receive this feedback regularly, but the patties are supposedly unsalted and the saltiness comes from the bacon fried on the same hot plate... Why, despite regular negative feedback on a specific product, as a restaurateur you don't change anything, was for was incomprehensible to all of us and caused great amusement. The rest of the burger was also very bland. Completely overcooked, although offered medium rare. Cheese not melted. Fries limp. Any burger made at home would have been better, in fact we would have preferred to go to the Golden M. 16€ for that is a disgrace.

What the kitchen creates here is truly ungodly. The burger tastes like a salt mine refined with plastic in the food. The crazy thing is that we all had the same experience with 10 people and the table next to us was poisoned too. The waiter really did his best, but even with apricot schnapps you can't erase the kitchen's mistake from your palate.
