Very tasty waffles and friendly staff. Unfortunately it gets a little louder when bus passengers arrive. But they have to go somewhere. Ideal because of the large spaces outside and inside.

Extremely long waiting times. Then you shouldn't choose the table even though it was free. Tables are not cleared for a long time after the guests. Prices are utopian. Service was polite but didn't speak German. We left again after waiting forever and only got the menu without taking any drinks. Not recommended. I wonder how the good reviews come about? Oh yeah, the furniture is pretty shabby. Shaky chairs, seat cushions with the insides showing and broken oilcloth tablecloths...

I wouldn't recommend it. The waffles were tasty, but for me they were of a good standard, which didn't justify the price of €12.50 for me, as no fresh fruit was used, only blueberries from a jar. The cappuccino was, I'm afraid to say, the worst I've ever drunk, inedible, I took three sips and then gave up. That really can't be offered. The service ranged from unfriendly to neutral, depending on who we were dealing with. The ambience is quite nice on the terrace outside, but inside it had a “sports club” feel.

There are savory and sweet waffles to choose from. I ordered both plain without sauce for €5.80 ONE. I would say both very, very dry. So please order with ice cream and sauce so that it slides. The prices are very high, but that's just how it is with excursion restaurants. There were complaints about coffee all over the table because there weren't even two cups in the pot. I had a glass of wine for €5.80. Before ordering, an employee went through the tables with Mettwurst for €13 each to sell (for home, of course). . Totally friendly staff tailored to buses and large groups. Everyone gives their all and sees the work.

Very unfriendly and you won't be served with dogs. From 3 meters away they said: "I can't serve you like that" and turned around and went to get menus for the neighboring table (who came after us) and take orders, we would no longer be noticed

We were all very disappointed. We expected something different from a waffle house. The waffles are not tasty, you can make them better yourself at home. It's far too expensive for the quality and the waitress probably doesn't like her job either. Once and never again!

We were there with our mother for her 70th birthday. The food was great. Everything fresh and delicious. Prices seem a bit high at first, but when you see the portions it's absolutely justified. The service was extremely nice. One of the nice ladies even offered to deliver the presents for our mother to the cold storage because there was chocolate and sausage. Simply outstanding service. The restaurant is clean and tidy. Thanks again to the entire team for the pleasant afternoon

Wir waren heute zum Mittagessen dort. Als erstes waren die Bedienungen Rettungslos überfordert obwohl der Laden nur zur Hälfte gefüllt war. Sie hatten keinen Plan. Kaum die Deutsche Sprache verstanden. Dann kam irgendwann das Essen. Das wurde durch den Koch rennend zu unserem Tisch gebracht. Geschmacklich war es eine 5 nach Schulnoten. Dann die Preise sind gesalzen. Also können wir es nicht empfehlen. Es war eine herbe Enttäuschung. Leider.

Waited over an hour for drinks and food when it was half full. Conditions were also very unfriendly when asked how long it would take. Several people at the table canceled their orders or paid directly when the food arrived.

The waffles were good and tasty. But the service was pretty unfriendly (not just to us). So after a long hike there was no place in the shade for everyone, even though there was still plenty free. It was just a short visit for us. A pity.

Na 20 minuten op een vol terras gewacht te hebben, was er nog geen bediening op te terras geweest. Een andere klant liep naar binnen om te vragen wanneer men van plan was om bestellingen te komen opnemen. Een paar tellen later kwam er een zeer gestrestte medewerker naar buiten om te vertellen dat ze een bus op bezoek hadden en dat het nog wel even ging duren voordat er bestellingen opgenomen konden worden. Wij zijn toe gegaan. De locatie ziet er uit alsof er regelmatig bussen langskomen en die komen ook vast niet on aangekondigd. Dat ze hier niet op voorbereid zijn begrijp ik niet helemaal.

After we arrived and our order was taken after about 30 minutes, we waited another 90 minutes for 2 waffles. The 2 waffles cost 25 euros. Taste ok. A pity

We went back to the Waffle House after a few years and were all disappointed. The food was ok, but not really tasty. The waffle was completely tasteless and so was the sauce for the schnitzel. The service was more than overwhelmed. Unfortunately, things were much better there. Prices absolutely exorbitant.

I was there with my son and we ate very tasty waffles. The portion was huge! Staff was also very nice!! We can highly recommend it, we would love to come back.

We were there spontaneously for lunch. Due to the weekday and the downpour it was empty and we had perfect service, hardly any waiting time for food and free choice. One of us is vegan, which not only wasn't a problem, but together the chef found a perfect solution for us. This is still not a given and we have noticed that there is a lot of passion for food and its preparation at work here. Each of the 4 dishes was ultra delicious! We had 2x savory and 2x sweet. The prices are also reasonable and the portions are large. Anyone who complains about €2.70 for a coffee in a tourist town doesn't drink coffee out very often. And if you want to eat good food (especially meat), you shouldn't expect dishes under 10€, that contradicts itself! The atmosphere is rustic and authentic. Overall, a thoroughly recommended destination! The perfect start to our local vacation.

Honestly...waffles are good, but way too expensive. In Bad Wildungen the same waffle costs half as much. Maybe it's a little smaller but it's enough for coffee. We waited a very long time to be served.

Very pleasant restaurant recommended, the waffles with different cream flavors are really a little sensation.

Mega delicious waffles! Nice and hot, crispy and fluffy. The different variants are extremely well chosen and really something special. I think the price is completely ok. The cappuccino is also super tasty. Dogs are also welcome and are even given a bowl of water straight away. Nice winter garden if the weather isn't good, otherwise lots of nice seating outside with huge parasols.

Actually a nice ambience, huge, service unfortunately really bad, we got the plates from the neighboring table, which were delivered incorrectly...not touched yet, said the neighboring table... Waffles very very large portions, although the price is also decent, but I still think it's justified. Waffles themselves, nothing special, but the various compotes on them were really delicious. I would go there again for a cup of coffee.

We really liked the Waffle House. We were there shortly before 6 p.m. (open until 6 p.m.) and were still served extremely friendly and were able to eat there. We will definitely come back there at “coffee time”.

There were 4 of us in the waffle house. The food was great. The ambience is a little old. The staff was very friendly, but the service left a lot to be desired. After we had eaten, the empty plates remained on our table for at least 45 minutes. The staff saw it too. We would have liked to drink something again... unfortunately we didn't get the opportunity. Hmm... okay, I was there as a child and definitely had something else in mind. As I headed there with my girlfriend today! . Ambiance is just quaint old. Nice service! When I saw the price for a waffle with cream ice cream and cherries at 12.50, I had clear expectations. The waffle wasn't even good! Normal ice cream, which the wholesaler probably has on offer. Cream okay. At such a price I would have expected a good, fluffy, delicious waffle and at least some homemade ice cream. What I found today with my gastronomic experience wasn't even middle class. The Italian around the corner makes a much better waffle with fresh fruit etc... and the menu is so old-fashioned and intimidating. You really have to keep up with the times here. All in all, you can say it's not worth the trip again. But since we are out of competition here, not much will probably change here. Personally, I thought it was a shame that the waitress didn't even ask when I was checking out whether it was tasty. She would certainly have received an honest answer. What the half-full plates showed.

The Waffle House was recommended to us. Waffle was ok... but it's not worth going to Waffle Queen. Price performance is not right. If I compare it with my waffle maker (Monschau-Imgenbroich), my waffle maker is many times better (waffles are topped with many more ingredients, larger selection of ice cream flavors and fruit.) and is 4.00 euros cheaper in comparison. Once eaten... I don't have to go there again...

The table was dirty, we had to wait a long time for food and then for some reason it was charged twice. We've already spoken to the boss personally and the money still hasn't been transferred back because the "tax advisor" has to check it first... There's nothing more to say about it...

We weren't served for so long that we just called and asked when we would be served. The card was then handed to us without a word of hello or anything like that. In the end, there was no service again for ages and we were completely left behind so we left hungry and thirsty.

Essen war Massenabfertigung. Schnitzel schmeckte tranig nach altem Öl in der Fritteuse. Bedienung versteht schlecht deutsch. Preis für kleines Schnitzel mit etwas Salat aus dem Glas für 18 Euro. Pommes oder Kroketten extra für 4 Euro. Nie wieder. Nicht zu empfehlen

Unfortunately we didn't like it at all. The restaurant seemed unloving to us and the sweet waffle was heavy on our stomachs. We think the prices are very excessive.

We promised ourselves more. Very old, loveless atmosphere with an extremely stuffy winter garden. Waffle with 2 scoops of (crystalized) stracciatella ice cream 9€ was extremely expensive! Very unkempt service employee. Wouldn't eat there again...

It's petty that when you divide a portion onto two plates, you not only charge one euro more for more food, but also another euro for "cutlery". Very tasty, great thing, nice staff.

Delicious waffles, in great combinations and plenty of choice. Aich hearty waffles with schnitzel is something different :) However, the prices are really excessive. In the ice cream parlor where I stay, I get a richly topped waffle for 7.50 euros. Here you pay an average of 12.50 euros for the sweets. A waffle with powdered sugar almost 6 euros! The service is okay, the ambience was about 30 years old. Coffee rides flair, it has nothing to do with comfort. And yet the store was packed ;-)

All in all very very disorganized… We had to wait a while until a table became available, which wasn't a bad thing. When we were brought to our table we had 45! We waited minutes for a waitress to come to take our order... after another hour we finally had our waffle... everything was very, very disorganized, unfortunately! The taste was ok, but definitely not enough for the money. The rooms are very old and very carelessly furnished or “decorated”. You can definitely get more out of the store

We went there based on a recommendation. So the waffle and the hot drink were good, no question. But the atmosphere is very uninviting! It is bare and desolate. A huge room that unfortunately has more of a train station feel. Nevertheless, it was of course very well attended and that speaks for the quality of the food.

We were there on 01/28/24. It was very kaotic. The chef served in chef's clothing. The cashier barely spoke German. Families with several children are not welcome and larger groups with children are also not welcome and it was said on site that there were no more tables available. There was a large table for at least 8 people and other small ones available. Families with several children were replaced by adults. There was no reply to my email, so much for customer loyalty and the customer is king. A few days later, friends with two children were eating there. The children were not even allowed to touch the napkin holder. The children were constantly under observation and were then warned not to do this. The store was very chaotic, unfriendly to families, too expensive and no good staff. We will never go there again. I'm amazed at all the positive reviews here!!! Either the people didn't have children and were there or they were bought from the store so they could give good reviews. Of course it can be family too.

A huge selection of waffles that tasted really delicious. Unfortunately, at around €9.80 or €12.50, the prices are overpriced in my opinion (also like the coffee). Some of the staff didn't understand our language, but the error was corrected immediately. The ambience in the large room looks more like Mass processing. The boss is in a good mood and pulls it out again.

It's a shame, I think with a different price-performance concept more local people would come... I paid over 30 euros for 2 people for 2 waffles, a coffee and 1 water. For comparison: last week, a café with a huge piece of cake, 19 euros for three...

We first went tobogganing and then went to the Waffle House where we were very surprised by the ambience. We were served very friendly and the food was excellent so we went for lunch on Saturday.

We waited over an hour for our order, then the waffles finally arrived and then the drinks a few minutes later! Visually really nice but unfortunately nothing tasted, neither drinks nor the waffles. A pity!

Die Lage an der Hauptstraße ist ideal für ein Ausfluglokal. Drinnen ist das Ambiente authentisch 70er Stil. Das hält die Leute nicht ab sich hier fast zu stapeln. Die Karte könnte sicherlich ansprechender gestaltet werden, die Gerichte sind endlos viele Waffelsorten, eben wie der Name schon vermuten lässt. Meine Waffel mit heißen Erdbeeren und Marzipan Sahne war ziemlich gut. Hat zwar etwas gedauert aber das Küchenteam hatte auch schon einen Kaffee Sonntag zu bewältigen.

Sehr große doch übersichtliche Karte . Waffeln kommen aus dem Waffeleisen und selbst wenn es jemanden gibt der keine Waffeln möchte hier wird für das leibliche Wohl gesorgt .

Falafelhaus nennen und kurz 3 Falafelgerichte.. Und null vegan bei den Hauptspeisen. Peinlich.

Ich war 2x vor Ort. Bei beiden Besuchen musste man darum kämpfen bestellen zu können. Beim 1. Besuch konnten wir dann doch nach langer Wartezeit bestellen. Beim 2. Besuch haben wir mehrfach auf uns aufmerksam gemacht, leider wurde von den Mitarbeitern auch dies gekonnt ignoriert. Wir verließen dann, ohne zu bestellen, das Waffelhaus. Beim verlassen wurde uns dann noch für den Besuch gedankt.

Ich war mit meiner Freundin das erste Mal dort es hat uns gut gefallen die Waffel hat uns gut geschmeckt mein Cappuccino war okay wie auch der Latte Macchiato

Super geniale Waffeln, die jede Geschmacksvariante bedienen. Ob süß oder deftig, mit Alkohol, ohne Alkohol, viel Frucht, wenig Frucht und sogar Milchreis mit Zimt und Zucker dazu oder Bratapfel. Es scheint nichts zu geben, was es nicht gibt und jede Einzelne ist eine Empfehlung und wirklich sehr gut. Charmante Bedienung, wo auch auf Etikette wert gelegt wird. Ich komme gern wieder!

Hat mir nicht gut gefallen, werde nicht wieder kommen. Ergänzung: Zudem der Versuch im Nachhinein mit Anwalt zu versuchen Einzuschüchtern und die Bewertung zurück zu nehmen oder zu verbessern halte ich für sehr schlechtes Geschäftsgebaren. Hallo, ich kann nur sage einzigartig!!! Bei dem Preis war ich etwas skeptisch, hatte eine Waffel mit Bratapfelcrumble. Es war unbeschreiblich lecker und ich übertreibe nicht. Fahre auf jeden Fall wieder hin. Überzeugt euch selbst!!!!

Wir sind absolut begeistert und nehmen die Fahrt auf jeden Fall wieder gerne in Kauf ! Das Waffelhaus verfügt über sehr viele Parkplätze und einen großen Gastraum, der endlich mal nicht modernisiert ist und einfach auch mal den Charme von „früher“ hat. Wir wurden absolut freundlich empfangen, obwohl wir in einer größeren Gruppe Kleinkindern gekommen sind. Die Atmosphäre war super und die Bedienung super schnell ! Anfangs empfand ich es recht teuer , aber es ist absolut gerechtfertigt ! Es sind große Portionen die jeden satt machen und ein super Service. Den Mitarbeitern ist es wichtig, dass man glücklich und zufrieden als Gast das Haus verlässt - das merkt man nicht nur am ganzen drum herum, sondern wird auch genauso kommuniziert, wenn man einen kleinen Änderungswunsch hat. So einen guten Service habe ich lange nicht mehr erlebt und bin absolut begeistert.

Auf eine Empfehlung hin, machte ich mich auf dem Weg vom Katzenstein 2, die 1,7 Km nach Reitzenhagen, zum Waffelhaus. Man wurde sehr freundlich empfangen. Wir nahmen Platz, im Wintergarten, der angenehm geheizt war. Die Karte überraschte mich positiv. Was kann man alles für Variationen mit Waffeln kreieren. Gute Laune hieß nicht nur die Waffel, sondern kam auch bei mir auf, als ich ich nach kurzer Zeit, meinen Teller bekam. Garçon Ralf, war sehr aufmerksam und man konnte einiges über das Restaurant und die Küche erfahren. Sein junger Kollege oder Piccolo, bediente uns sehr gut. Dazu hatte ich einen leckeren Milchkaffee. Mit den Worten, Heute ist nicht alle Tage, ich komm wieder, keine Frage.....verabschiedete ich mich und ging. 1 Tag später, war ich wieder hier, weil ich mir dachte, wenn Waffeln, hier schon so klasse schmecken, wie wird der Rest, der hessischen Küche sein? Als gelernter Koch ist man neugierig und bestellte ein Rumpsteak mit Schmorzwiebeln, Kräuterbutter und Pfefferrahmsauce, inkl Bratkartoffeln. 1 Salat war dabei. Rumpsteak perfekt medium serviert, Pfefferrahmsauce super, selbstgemachte Kräuterbutter rundete alles ab. Der gemischte Salat war frisch, das Dressing mundete. Hier war nichts aus der Dose. Bei so einem Gaumenschmaus, verlangte ich, nachdem es etwas ruhiger im Geschäft war, den Koch. Ich teilte ihm meine Begeisterung über sein Können mit. Natürlich auch seinen Helfern aus der Küche. Leute, hier hat alles gestimmt und das honoriere ich nicht nur mit einem guten Trinkgeld, sondern auch einer positiven, verdienten Rezession. Ronald und Ralf, vielen herzlichen Dank. Ich bin noch einige Zeit hier zur Reha und komme selbstverständlich wieder. Das Hütt Bier war übrigens, sehr gut temperiert. Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt und denkt dran, die 19% trifft jeden Gastronom und seine Angestellten hart. Unterstützt sie.

Der leckerste Sauerbraten meines Lebens, unverhofft; dazu die 3 Sorten Knödel in Semmelbröselbutter gewendet, der Rotkohl und der bunte Salat, sooo viel und lecker!

Tolle Auswahl an Waffeln egal ob herzhaft oder süss. Ambiente gutbürgerliche, sauber, der Innenraum ist eher wie ein kleiner Festsaal und nicht so gemütlich. Es war auch relativ kühl. Preise mittleres bis höheres Segment.

Es ist eine wunderschöne Abwechslung 😊 Es gibt eine große Auswahl an süssen Waffelkreationen und auch eine interessante Auswahl an herzhaften Waffeln. 👍🏻🧇👍🏻 Es gibt auch einige Gerichte ohne Waffeln. Meine Waffel war super lecker 😋 . Es ist wirklich mächtig und der Preis ist in Ordnung. Für gutes Essen zahlt man gerne 😀. Es ist sehr voll gewesen, wahrscheinlich ist es besser einen Tisch vorab zu reservieren. Der Innenbereich ist urig, aber gemütlich. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.
