Lindenhof in Bad Wildungen

A truly clean and tidy restaurant! The food was delicious and fresh. The staff was also very friendly, well-groomed, and helpful. Today, I particularly noticed an employee wearing a black T-shirt – I really liked his polite and respectful demeanor. I hope it stays this way. Keep it up!

The pleasant ambiance is unfortunately marred by the lack of attentiveness of the staff, both during and after the meal. They didn't even ask if we'd like another drink or dessert, etc. A smile would have been more appropriate for the grumpy expressions of the male staff. However, I rate this neutrally. Overall, though, it's a reason for me not to go there again.

It is best not to look into the kitchen

It was great – the staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was wonderful. I ordered the chicken curry, and it was plentiful and very flavorful. Thank you for the delicious food. I'll be back.

Wir waren 1 Woche in Bad Wildungen und sind am ersten Abend eigentlich per Zufall im Lindenhof gelandet. Wir waren so begeistert von dem (italienischen) Essen, den zivilen Preisen und dem freundlichen und perfekten Service, dass wir jeden Abend wieder dort gegessen haben. May 15, 2025. Please ignore reviews older than 4.5 years. Ownership has changed, including the new name "Lindenhof." Two dishes from the Indian section of the menu. Both were very plentiful, well-seasoned, with a variety of spices that were still visible and tasty, but not overpowering. The meat in both dishes was plentiful, well-cooked, and not dry or tough. The basmati rice itself was lightly seasoned. A side salad with a delicious vinaigrette. Service was quick and very friendly.

Super nice, quick and tidy. Had the schnitzel with asparagus, potatoes and hollondaise. So for €24.50 I unfortunately have to say the portion is just too small and the schnitzel is very thin. Pensioner portions. Half a Minni Schnitzel, plus 5 half potatoes and 4 sticks of asparagus. Last year it was €17.90, as a good friend reported and recommended it. The taste is OK but the price is too much, so two of the thin schnitzels should be on the plate for the money and also a few more potatoes. I M45 1.80 couldn't get enough.

Delicious food and friendly staff.

This afternoon I was walking through Bad Wildungen and noticed the board on the sidewalk. Asparagus with various side dishes, so I decided on the schnitzel. The asparagus was a little too al dente but very good, as were the schnitzel and the potatoes. It's a shame that even in restaurants you can only get Hollandaise sauce from the Tetra Pack. However, this was okay. I've had a lot worse. The service was very quick, even as I drank two or three beers. All in all a very good price-performance ratio. A lovely afternoon. 🌞👍

The “Gypsy Schnitzel” is not recommended. Unfortunately the sauce is a tomato paste with 3 pieces of pepper, corn and peas. But maybe it's just not my taste because it's "different". The gyro plate was very tasty. The service can be improved... Price/performance ratio is also ok. Maybe you should go back to your roots and offer what you're really good at. The menu is a hodgepodge and you don't know where you're sitting... Italian? German? In the?

The last time. I was there years ago and it was ok back then. Not anymore. The waitress came and put the card down without greeting. The food was inedible. The tarte flambée was 2cm thick, so it wasn't a tarte flambée. It tasted sour because all the vegetables were thawed or out of a can. I ate half and regretted it. I felt sick afterwards.

Ready-made waffles with a scoop of ice cream, cream, powdered sugar and canned fruit for €7.50. Service a bit sleepy and unprofessional, facility somewhat run down.

I ordered a waffle, unfortunately it was way too dry like a biscuit. Cherries weren't even thickened, just liquid. The waiting time is also far too long. I wouldn't eat waffles here again. Cappuccino was okay, you can drink it.

The restaurant could use a little renovation, but that shouldn't detract from the quality of the food. A dish that everyone knows and loves, and everyone has their own personal taste: spaghetti with Bolognese sauce. Very delicately cooked, wonderfully seasoned pasta, perfectly cooked. What more could you want?

I highly recommend the Lindenhof. The food is excellent. The service is fast, friendly, and attentive. I'd be happy to return.

We've been here several times now and eat our way through the menu given the good price, and we haven't had a dish that wasn't tasty or wasn't enough. When people here write everything great and only give 1 or 2 stars, I, we, absolutely cannot understand it. Always happy to come back Ali, your food and your service is top.

There were two of us there and we didn't have a reservation, it was absolutely no problem, the service was very nice and the food was delicious.

The food was ok. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. The food came relatively quickly, but after eating our table was completely ignored. Even when asked, the plates were not cleared away, but other tables were served during that time. The order for the espressos required three corrections before it finally worked. This cannot be explained by a shortage of skilled workers.

Heerlijk! Hier nu voor derde keer gegeten. Prima keuken, goede combinaties. Ook de bediening is vriendelijk, netjes en vlot. Prijs/kwaliteit is zeker okay. Mochten we nog eens in Bad Wildungen komen dan gaan we hier zeker weer eten

The food was okay, price-performance ratio was right. The staff is sometimes a bit hectic and not professional...unfortunately that's the case almost everywhere these days. The big drawback is the cash payment, no payment by card possible 👎👎

We ate pizza which was also very good. The service was, and unfortunately I can't say it any other way, pretty lackluster. It also seemed to me as if it was the boss. So the tip stands and falls.

Dieser Stelle ist für alle den sich gut essen suchen ein Lavine von gutes Essen... Ob man mag pizza, oder schnitzel oder immer hunger was gut essen, nicht zugern, weil alles ist so lecker zubereitet. Dazu kommt den sympatischer Chef Ali und sein Staff, der um alle Gäste das beste nur geben, jedes mal. - komme gern wieder und wieder... Hier füllt man sich immer guter laune - so ist es Lindenhof

The menu offers food from all corners of the world. Maybe less would be more! The wine tasted like vinegar. The schnitzel was so tiny that my husband couldn't get enough. The pork loins were ok. We sat outside. There was a lot of smoking here at the neighboring table.

Apart from the fact that the ambience is a bit old, you can't complain about the Lindenhof. The service was ok, the food arrived quickly and was very tasty. The price/performance ratio is right and the portions are neither too big nor too small. The choice between home-style, Greek and Indian dishes in this restaurant allows you to order flexibly depending on your hunger. We would like to stop there more often. Went there again yesterday, April 22, 2024. This time I also tried the Lendchen in chanterelle cream sauce. Like last time. Fast service and tasty, cheap food. Gladly again !

Schnitzel Hawaii with fries very tasty, nice staff, consistently warm food, highly recommended

Okay, but nothing more. The service is friendly and fast, but doesn't go beyond simply taking your order and bringing you food. Pasta Arrabiata: Pasta al dente, well seasoned but not spicy. Unfortunately far too much tomato sauce. The peccorino was also missing. House salad: boring but fresh. Too much iceberg lettuce and too sweet. Pizza: Good standard like frozen pizza, nothing special, too much cheese. If you're hungry and can't find anything better in town (which can easily happen), you can stop here. We were full and it didn't really taste bad. In my opinion, there is a lot of room for improvement. The restaurant also offers Indian dishes, maybe you should try them ;-)

The boss reserved a table at 1 p.m. and threw us the menu on the table ! Rude then the food didn't come until 2:15 p.m., such a long wait isn't possible. Schönes Restaurant...wir waren die einzigen Gäste .Das Essen war nicht sehr gut. Leider ich mag gern mal Gorgonzola Soße. Leider war da kaum Geschmack dabei.

Gute Lage mit Außengastronomie. Küche von indisch über italienisch u. deutsch. Habe ein indisches Gericht gewählt, das war sehr lecker. Mein Mann war mit seinem Jäger Schnitzel auch zufrieden. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Der Service war auf Zack. Allein das Ambiente ist verbesserungswürdig!!!!!

Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich. Auch wenn es mich nicht betrifft, sollte sich der Betreiber vielleicht überlegen wie er den Zutritt zum Lokal barrierefrei gestalten könnte. Immerhin ist Bad Wildungen ein Kurort und der ein oder andere nicht ganz so mobil. Ich komme gerne wieder

Freundliches Personal. Essen ist Klasse. Waren mit vier Personen mehrere Male dort Essen. Indisch, Italienisch und Deutsche Küche. Viele Sachen ausprobiert. Alles war Klasse .

Das Essen ist einfach super. Egal welches Gericht. Es ist gemütlich und das Personal ist freundlich. Der Stern, der fehlt ist für das Verstehen des Gastes. Wir haben das falsche Gericht bekommen bei jemanden und bei einer anderen wurde auch erst die falsche Nr. verstanden. Sonst war alles perfekt. Auch die Preise sind mehr als ok, denn die Portionen sind wirklich mehr als ausreichend.

Nette Pizzeria..das Personal könnte ein bisschen aufmerksamer sein...

Geschmacklich war das Essen wunderbar Service war auch sehr auf Zack außer ein zweimal. Der Außenbereich könnte mal wieder etwas Pflege vertragen.

Vorweg …das bestellte Gericht war in Ordnung . Die Ausstattung könnte schon eine gewaltige Auffrischung ertragen..ebenso die Speisekarte die Gerichte aus der ganzen Welt anbietet Weniger ….ist manchmal mehr !

Leider haben wir zunächst ziemlich lange auf die Karte warten müssen, dann sollten wir innerhalb von ein paar Minuten unsere Bestellung abgeben. Dafür kamen Essen und Getränke recht zügig. Meine Sahnesoße bei den Nudeln mit Lachs war leider kaum gewürzt. Dafür hat das selbstgebackene Brot meiner Mutter super geschmeckt. Der Service war nicht sonderlich aufmerksam aber auch nicht unfreundlich. Die Lage ist super, vor allem die Terrasse

Wir waren gestern Abend dort und wollten etwas Essen, da andere entweder zu oder Betriebsferien hatten. Terrasse nicht einladend, beim rein kommen alles veraltet und dunkel. Mein Glas wurde noch komplett nass mit auf den Tisch gestellt. Essen war okay aber teils angebrannt. Service absolut keine Lust zu arbeiten. Der Herr mit den dunklen Haaren saß dort mit seinem Handy, wir wurden nicht ein mal gefragt ob alles in Ordnung sei. Wir wollten zahlen und der Herr mit dem Handy reagierte erst bei mehrmaligen rufen. Eigentlich gebe ich ungern kein Trinkgeld aber dort war es mir egal nichts zu geben.

Flotte, nette Bedienung. Schöne Terrasse. Essen sehr lecker. Preise angemessen.

Das Ambiente war okay bzw. Die Speisekarte ist Recht abgefahren, da es von Pizza über Gyros biss hin zu indischen Gerichten einiges gibt. Das ist eigentlich immer ein sicheres Indiz für abenteuerliche Qualität der Speisen. Hier allerdings nicht: die Pizza - wenn auch nicht fett ganz große Wurf - war lecker, reichhaltig und frisch belegt. Die Schweinelendchen mit Champignonrahm war ebenfalls saftig und die Pilze nicht aus der Dose. Wir gesagt alles nichts außergewöhnliches, aber für den Preis mehr als gut. Service war auch zackig und nett.

Wir haben sehr schön auf der Terrasse gesessen, lecker und preiswert gegessen und sind super freundlich bedient worden.

Falsche Vorspeise, Salat mit Karotten obwohl ohne bestellt. Lende und Pommes ertranken in Öl. Preis für die Qualität nicht angemessen.

Sehr gut zu erreichen, Parkplätze sind ebenfalls an der Straße. Die Bedienung ist schnell und freundlich.

Preis/Leistung gut. Man kann hier gut und lecker essen.

Guter Durchschnitt.nichts auszusetzen.gut bürgerliche und indische Küche.preise deutlich im Rahmen.Empfehlung
