Sparta im Fränzers - Werne in Werne

Wir habe kürzlich im Sparta gegessen und sind begeistert. Die Reservierung war unkompliziert und das Personalund auch der Chef sind äußerst freundlich sowie zuvorkommend. Das Essen hat uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt und alles war frisch, hervorragend zubereitet und geschmackvoll. Wir können das Restaurant absolut empfehlen und komme sehr gerne wieder! Auch in das Neue Lokal.

War ein perfekter Abend, leckeres essen, netter Service. Betreiber erklärt auch gerne etwas zu seinen Gerichten.

Mega lecker, schnell und liebevoll!

Ein wahres Highlight in Werne und eine super lokation sogar mit Außenbereich in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße aber doch mitten drin. Wir waren da nach der Kommunion essen. Der Inhaber war auch super zufrieden mit dem Tip seine Schweineschnitzel durch Hühnerschnitzel zu ersetzen für das Essen von uns. Er wird es dann auch beibehalten. Dafür das meine Gastronomischen Erfahrungen sich auf Hannover beschränken war ich mehr als positive überrascht vom Sparta. In der griechischen Küche hat gutes Fleisch immer schon einen sehr hohen Stellenwert gehabt, aber dies so zuzubereiten das das Fleisch super zart ist ist die hohe Kunst. Die Küche des Sparta hat das sogar perfektioniert. Dafür das es die ersten Hühnchen Schnitzel waren aus der Küche, waren diese schon sündhaft zart und die anderen Fleischsorten standen dem im nichts nach. Im Sparta passt alles zusammen super Ambiente mitten in Werne nahe der Kirche mit sündhaft gutem essen. Das ganze wird dann von einem super Service abgerundet. Unserer 30 Mann starken Kommunions Gesellschaft hat es zu keiner Zeit an etwas gefehlt und die Kinder hatten genug Platz um toben zu können.

Waren gestern Abend zum erstenmal hier. Einfach eingerichtetes Ambiente, mit sehr nettem und aufmerksamen Personal. Die Gerichte, die wir uns ausgesucht hatten schmeckten sehr gut. Der Chef ging auf unsere Sonderwünsche ein und erklärte am Tisch, wie die verschieden Fleischsorten gewürzt werden. Jedes Sorte Fleisch schmeckten anders, aber immer gut. Wir freuen uns schon aufs nächte mal

Wir sind immer wieder gerne im Sparta. Das Essen ist durchweg lecker, der Service flink und freundlich – man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Besonders positiv ist uns aufgefallen, wie souverän mit Allergien umgegangen wird: Am Nachbartisch konnte dem Gast jeder einzelne Inhaltsstoff genau benannt werden. Das zeigt Kompetenz und Aufmerksamkeit. Auch für Familien sehr angenehm: im Sparta ist man sehr kinderfreundlich. Unsere Tochter freut sich jedes Mal auf den Kinderouzo zu Anfang und die Schatzkiste am Ende 😃 Natürlich sind Geschmäcker verschieden – aber uns schmeckt es hier jedes Mal 😊

Wir waren am Ostersamstag hier essen. Die Reservierung verlief problemlos. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Die Auswahl der Speisen war gut, auf Rückfragen konnte Auskunft gegeben werden. Der Service war schnell und sehr freundlich. Besser geht nicht!

Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir freundlich vom Inhaber begrüßt und zum vorbestellen Platz gebracht. Vorab einen Uzo aufs Haus. Wir wurden nicht gedrängt uns bei der Auwwahl der Speisen zu beeilen. Die Getränke kamen zügig. Auch die Essen kamen in kurzer Zeit. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Essen hat uns Vieren bestens geschmeckt. Auch nach dem Essen hatten wir Zeit uns bei weiteren Getränken zu unterhalten. Das Restaurant war komplett ausgebucht (es war Frühlingsmarkt in Werne). Das hat sich nicht negativ auf das Ambiente ausgewirkt. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend und werden wiederkommen. Ein Lob an das ganze Team. Weiter so.

Der Service war perfekt und auch das Essen ear sehr lecker. Das Fleisch sehr gut. Rundum zufrieden.

Wir waren an einem Samstag dort. Die Mitarbeiter waren nett aber sehr unorganisiert. Wir haben eine Vorspeise bekommen die wir nicht bestellt haben, da wir das erste Mal dort waren, haben wir das nicht gemerkt und angefangen zu essen. Nach 20 Minuten kam der Kellner und meinte die Vorspeise war nicht für uns. Aus Kulanz haben wir die falsche Speise behalten und gegessen obwohl wir es nicht wirklich mochten. Trotzdessen wurde uns die um 7 € teurere Vorspeise berechnet, was eine Frechheit ist da es schließlich ja nicht unserer Fehler war und wir es aus Kulanz behielten. Außerdem gab es an dem Tag in dem griechischen Restaurant kein Gyros. Das ist wirklich schade. Die Hauptspeisen waren jedoch trotzdem lecker.

I ate here for the first time months ago. If you think lamb fillet is expensive for 32 euros, you've never eaten real lamb fillet. The owner and his concept take it to a new level for me. I've never experienced a Greek restaurant where the food tasted so delicious. And I've never had to run to a certain place. Here the customer is king. Even if you have special requests for the food, the answer you get here is: No problem at all, I can make it for you. And then the food comes exactly as it is. Thank you for the always delicious food. As a local guide, I say quite clearly: Please come here to eat. Thank you for the top service and also for everything that goes with it. An experience for the tongue with a lot of fun and humor from the owner. Please keep up the good work.

We eat there regularly. Again on the weekend, the owner told us that it would be full and we might have to wait longer for our food (due to the gourmet spring and staff problems). We went to Sparta this weekend and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the decoration was typically Greek and the service was very friendly and attentive. The food was simply fantastic! We ordered the classic Greek dishes like gyros, moussaka and souvlaki, and everything was freshly prepared and very tasty. The portions were generous and the price was very reasonable. Through the city festival Genuss Frühling where the Sparta restaurant was also represented At first there were a few difficulties with the order, as there was no salad bar or the gyros took a little longer, but the waitress offered us a coleslaw as a replacement and explained that everything was a little different due to the city festival and apologized for the fact that it was taking a little longer. Ich kann sagen, daß Essen war unterirdisch miserabel. Es gab ein Gyros mit viel Fett. Eine Art Fleisch die an Holz oder Schuhsole erinnerte. Kein Salat Buffet wie auf der Speisekarte angegeben. Und alles für richtig viel Geld. Fazit daraus... Willst du lecker griechisch essen, kannst du dieses Lokal total vergessen 🤢🤢🤢

Selten so schlecht gegessen. Das Fleisch trocken und alles nur lauwarm. Den dazugehörigen Salat nicht bekommen. Trotzdem mußten wir den vollen Betrag bezahlen. Nie wieder Sparta bei Fränzers!!!

Had dinner at Sparta with 6 people. Gyros full of pieces of fat. The dishes lukewarm. According to the menu, a salad from the buffet was included with each main course, but there was no such thing. When asked, it was said that if there were any festivals in the city (at the time of the Spring Festival) it would not be worth preparing a salad buffet. Despite asking, there was no response from the owner. Conclusion if you want to eat badly and expensively, this is the place for you!!

We were also at Sparta yesterday on Saturday with two people. The store was packed. Of course we had reserved and when we made the reservation on the phone we were told that there could be complications that day and that the food would take a little longer to reach us. With that in mind, we could have canceled our reservation, but we decided to go anyway. The reviews among us are incomprehensible because, like us, you too were told on the phone that things could be a bit critical today and yet the guests in question kept trying brazenly to make some kind of profit from it, be it a round on the house or a discount at the end on the bill. We cannot understand such behavior. We enjoy eating out in Sparta and have always received friendly and nice service and always been served fresh food and we don't think it's a bad thing if we sometimes have to wait an hour for good quality food. Our conclusion A company that offers such hospitality and at the same time tries to organize a festival like Den Genuss Frühling in Werne To enrich with Mediterranean delicacies. You can forgive this and be lenient if complications arise, because we are all just people and not machines. We should all keep that in mind. In this sense, all the best for you Team Sparta and stay true to your quality and commitment. We will definitely come back and will recommend you at any time, because you are the best Greek in Werne, if not in the area, but that should be left to the others to decide.

First guest of the day, without a reservation. Best place. The waiter mentions the yellowfin tuna that the kitchen had just prepared for his employees to try. Before that there are anchovies and baby calamari. That's why I'm here. Prepared to perfection with buttery tenderness, with a salad dressing from the time when they weren't yet called “dressing”. Fresh bread, homemade tarama. Delicious. Then the tuna. I still remember it grilled on grapevine charcoal. Crispy on the outside, still pink on the inside. I remember it as delicious as a child, but we don't eat it like that anymore. Here it is served perfectly juicy and tenderly cooked from the outside right through to the core. Fruity hot sauce on the side. Rustic spinach, with a bite. Add rice. Everything fits 100%. Unfortunately I still had to drive, the wine list is also well sorted. Anchovies, calamari, tuna, no frills, old school, you can do it differently, but it can't be any better. Next time I'll take a taxi! Price-wise, a bargain given the quality.

Im Sommer ist der Außenbereich wunderschön dekoriert mit Olivenbäumen und Rosmarin. Die Inhaber sind herzlich und freundlich. Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich und die Gerichte wirklich köstlich! I ate at Restaurant Sparta for the second time last week. The boss and his team were very friendly, just like the first time. Very pleasant atmosphere to spend a nice evening. The food was once again very tasty. It's just a shame that I'm only in Werne occasionally on business, otherwise I would definitely come to eat every week. Came here with a group of 8, the waiter made the effort of speaking English and the dishes were all very good. We tried the lamb shnitzel, the moussaka and the pork ribs and all of these were very tasty. I had the moussaka myself, the tomato/cheesesauce was amazing !

Colleagues of mine invited people to a celebration there. So I can't say anything about the prices. The selection of drinks seems to be good, I had non-alcoholic wheat beer and Krefelder, but I also saw many other drinks. To eat there was very tasty souflaki with very tasty tzatziki. Also gyros with onions and gyros in Metaxa sauce, gratinated with cheese, both good. As a side dish, fries, with mayo if desired. The host made it possible for a video to be played. He specifically disconnected the speakers in the room where we were sitting so that we didn't have to listen to the music that was playing in the rest of the restaurant. I don't know where the television came from that we could watch the video on. The restaurant is furnished in a cozy, modern Greek style and has a covered terrace.

Wir werden nicht wieder kommen. Das Essen war nichts Besonderes, ein erwachsener Mann würde von dieser Miniportion kaum satt (große handvoll Pommes, 2 winzige Stückchen Leber und ein guter Eßlöffel krümelige Gyros, die unter einer großen Portion frittierter Zwiebeln versteckt waren. Der Service war unterirdisch. Auf unsere Gerichte haben wir 1,5 Std. gewartet, weil der Zettel angeblich in der Küche zunächst verschwunden war. Das angepriesene Glas Wein , das allerdings gut war, wurde erst nach erneuter Erinnerung serviert. Die auf dem Beleg ausgewiesene Abrechnung stimmte hinten und vorne nicht, konnte aber geklärt werden. Einzig der Preis für dieses Gericht mit 18,50 € war mehr als aureichend. Klar, alles wird teurer, was ich auch gut verstehe, aber dieser Preis war nun wirklich überzogen, fand ich!

Three of us plus the dog spontaneously came here and were immediately greeted by very friendly staff. We found a very nice and stylish atmosphere and had extremely delicious food! At the reception there was an ouzo for each of us. The little dog also received a bowl of water and a blanket almost immediately. The sanitary facilities were very clean and smelled good. You could also find panty liners and tampons in every single women's toilet, as well as enough toilet paper. Thank you for the lovely stay. We'd love to come back!

Unser letzter und einziger Besuch liegt schon etwas zurück. Wir waren enttäuscht. Der Gastraum hat sehr nach Fritteuse und Küche gerochen, bei unserem besuch saßen noch Gäste nur am Tresen, die offensichtlich nur etwas getrunken haben. Vielleicht ist das jetzt anders (vor dem Sparta war die Lokalität eine Kneipe), aber man kam sich vom Tresenpublikum beobachtet vor. Die Speisen waren uns persönlich teilweise zu fettig. Das Fleisch war durchweg in Ordnung mehr aber auch nicht. Alles in allem nach unserer Meinung eher ein typisch deutscher Grieche ohne das besondere Etwas.

Incredibly good service and very tasty food! You will receive exceptionally good advice and also have great alternative options if you are not a big fan of fries. It's really nice to see when someone puts their heart and soul into it and puts so much effort into ensuring that every guest is completely satisfied. Spent an entertaining evening in a great atmosphere and with really good food. Just the way the food is prepared is a feast for the eyes. I just think it's a shame that there is little acceptance when guests are not satisfied and make it known with their review. Apparently they don't deal well with negative criticism here. I was here for the first time today and I have nothing to complain about! The service was great and we didn't miss anything. The food was perfect, the steak was very well prepared and the gyros too. Since I love french fries salt, the fries were very well salted 🤩The atmosphere was very cozy! All in all a 10 out of 10 we will definitely come back 🤗

We recently dined at Sparta. Service and ambience are very good, you really can't say anything about it. The meat quality is really very good. Unfortunately we didn't really like the Metaxa sauce.

Food was great. And because I can't tolerate cream sauces, they came up with something else. The red wine reduction with thyme was simply mega. That's what I call service.

We stumbled into this place by chance on our date night today, the best coincidence in a long time!!! Excellent advice, excellent food, and a friendliness of service that you rarely find anywhere else. We'd love to stumble into this again.

What a gem a delicious and eclectic mix of Greek and German food — I know, sounds odd, but totally works! We were in Werne for four nights and went twice, it’s that good! I recommend the Greek salad, and the paper back salt fish - yum. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Give this place a try if you’re in Werne, you won’t regret it!
