We have reserved a dome for Easter Sunday with 5 people. Unfortunately, when we arrived we were really disappointed because there were no more domes built. When we made the reservation, we were able to specify an extra dome. When we asked what that meant, why can you reserve something like that and there are no domes at all, they just said we can offer you a table with a heater (at 10°C outside temperature at 8:30 p.m.).

The service is friendly and charming. The ambience with the sunset was really just great. The only drawback is the food. These crispy rolls felt like spring rolls. Unfortunately it only tastes OK. The chorizo ​​could have been fried or grilled really well beforehand to bring out the flavor more. All in all, the food doesn't really do justice to the price. Nevertheless, we had a great evening. Next time we'll just have a drink and eat somewhere else.

A recommendation when the weather is nice

Very tasty food!! We ordered steamed vegetables with prawn for 2 people. The prawns are very fresh and delicious. While this is a VERY expensive place, 3 small prawns for each person, with a bowl of few vegetables for 59 eur is toooo much. So we won’t come back again. Also with mediocre service. But we were happy to eat there during our sup journey.

I have to say, really good ideas and super beautiful. However, what was a real shame for us was that we ordered a table for 7 p.m. When we came, mistake, we forgot to clear your table, but we told the other guests to please stay for a maximum of 30 minutes. Ok, we waited, the weather was nice and we got a drink outside. However, after an hour we still didn't have our table and now it was getting cold outside. When we finally got our table, the service was unfortunately a bit overwhelmed, even though there were almost no guests left. But we received a dessert plate on the house. But when the bill came and our gift, because we had to wait for the bill, even though the boss had said it was on the house, we got a little loud. But when the boss was no longer there, but certainly in bed according to the staff, we had to pay, so the food was delicious and good, the place was super nice, but the rest unfortunately wasn't so good.

Unfortunately, my visit to the Spanish Steps restaurant last weekend was a huge disappointment. First of all, the prices were way too high for the quality of the food. The portions were small and the taste unfortunately left a lot to be desired. To get full you had to order almost five different dishes, which is definitely not what you would expect for the price. The service was also very disappointing. The staff was unfriendly and the humor was rather bad. The employees seemed unprofessional and there was a lack of a friendly atmosphere. After just an hour, we were asked to leave despite numerous empty tables. To make matters worse, we weren't allowed to order desserts, which made the whole experience even more unpleasant. If you asked for cutlery or bread, it didn't come until halfway through hour – at a time when the food was already cold. We had also reserved a table in the glass house, but they tried to seat us outside. This only led to more dissatisfaction. All in all it was a very disappointing visit. I will definitely not visit this restaurant again and unfortunately I cannot recommend it.

It was also no problem to share the igloo with other guests (there were two of us and three at the table next to us), as long as you pay attention to the age group. Nice idea to work with the glass igloos in the winter. But it also has disadvantages. When it is very cold outside in the evening and the igloo is occupied by several guests. The waiters constantly have to go in and out to bring the orders. The door is inevitably left open and the igloo quickly cools down and the guests freeze again. The small fan heater is not enough. In addition, the igloos are made of hard plastic and therefore the windows get very cold when the temperatures outside go below 5 degrees. The tables (divided into 3 tables for 10 people) are then positioned directly at the windows. The table for two is right next to the door with one sitting right in front of it. Difficult . 2 tables with 4 people each is still possible, a 3 table with 2 people is simply too much for the size. Especially since you have to automatically hear all conversations. Of course, the food gets cold quickly thanks to the kitchen-igloo walkway, as well as opening the door, leaving it open, and closing the door. The service was great. The four of us had a lovely evening. Drinks are too expensive for my taste.

I would like to express my disappointment with our visit to your restaurant today. Despite a reservation for a birthday table at 8:15 p.m. for four people and our prior notification that we would be arriving in the evening, our table was given away when we arrived 15 minutes late. We overheard the owner asking the waiter why the table was given away. Instead, we were assigned a table without a tablecloth, which did not allow us to sit comfortably together - a sign of poor organization. We were told that a “bubble” would be available soon and that we could then move. In the meantime, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., we received no compensation or attention; we just ordered water until we were moved. The starter was only served after the transfer, which is unacceptable. The waitress tried to justify the situation, instead of apologizing properly she became unprofessional towards us and left the place without any further words. This behavior made us feel unwelcome as guests and was particularly disappointing as we were celebrating my sister's birthday. Overall, our experience was characterized by poor organization and unprofessional behavior, which negatively impacted our special event. I hope that management takes this feedback seriously and takes steps to improve service and avoid similar experiences for future guests. In addition, you cannot pay by EC. But there is always something. We had tapas. They were the best I've ever eaten in Germany. Plenty and served quickly. The service was excellent. People regularly asked unobtrusively if everything was okay. Not suitable for wheelchair users as there are stairs. As far as I know, there's no getting around that.

Ambience: we stayed in one of the glass igloos, they are nicely furnished, enough space for several guests, and are also heated, so it is quite warm in there (if the two sliding doors are closed correctly, but more on that in the next point) Service: disappointing. Two main facts: 1. The waiters don't even pay attention to whether the two doors are closed properly (without a gap between them), and there is a direct draft (particularly pleasant if you sit with your back to the doors) 2. The reservation time in the restaurant is always 2 hours, and the slots are well occupied, so I can understand that guests who may have overstayed are kindly informed about it. In our case, however, we were somewhat surprised 15 minutes BEFORE (!) the end of our 2 hours with a rather familiar announcement "The next guests are already here" (and that was it!). After I pointed out to the waiter the fact that we hadn't even overcharged (!!!), the waiter disappeared without a word. P.S. It's important to mention at this point - the waitress who served us was extremely nice and really made a very good impression - but then came point 2.

We came for the waterfront igloos. Yes, it's something different, but if you only come with two or three people, there are at least 2-3 small tables in the igloo and that ruins the atmosphere. We came in a big group including a toddler and a dog and we had a fantastic time! The food was delicious, our waiter was very sweet and the view from the dome is fantastic. Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was a huge disappointment. From the start there were several problems that ruined our evening. The restaurant seemed completely unprepared. The food that was served was cold and tasteless. For the high price we paid, the quality of the food was unacceptable. We could barely eat any of it and felt like we had wasted our money. The atmosphere in the “Kugel” was anything but comfortable. It was very cold and drafty, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable. When we asked for a second heater "Unfortunately it's not possible" was shocking and shows a complete disregard for customer comfort.

The only real positive was the glass dome we were in which gave us a lovely and romantic atmosphere. Unfortunately however, despite there being a heater, the dome was a bit below room temperature which hindered out enjoyment a bit. The food was good but also not good enough to make us want to come again. And despite us being understanding of the situation, we were asked twice to switch tables due to miscommunication between staff members. I can recommend it simply for the dome you will get to spend your dinner in but not for anything else.

We complained about it, but nothing happened. There was a single tea light on our table, which was empty. When asked about a new tea light, the answer was that they no longer had any. Something like that doesn't work at all. With 3 tables in a dome, there is only one table lamp on one table. The other two tables only had a glass with a tea light, which were empty. At these prices you can probably expect that there will be enough candles available. Conclusion: Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio does not match here. Too bad! ☹️

We were in this restaurant yesterday and were not satisfied😔, the food was lukewarm to cold, after we told the waiter about this, there was only one (sorry, I'll pass it on) table lighting, which our waiter couldn't organize and as if that wasn't enough, the red wine was also ice cold! What has to be said, however, is that you printed and calculated the invoice without any errors! 😡 The taste of the food was ok but not great for €111.00 for 2 people, we would have expected much more! 👎👎 The restaurant will definitely get a second chance!

Most beautiful evening! I had previously announced that it was a wedding day. There was an incredibly loving decoration that awaited us: a small red carpet to the pavilion, red rose petals all over the table. At least 20-30 balloons were inflated and hung on the walls, romantic lighting mood, flowers and candles. In all the years we have never experienced anything like this. Plus incredibly attentive service. Insanely nice, sensitive, so romantic! Great.

Food was high quality and tasty, but cold because it just sat around for 10 minutes and then was pushed back and forth. When we had finished eating we were thrown out in a really rude manner because the table had to be reoccupied. Unfortunately no recommendation at all, price performance is not justified and is definitely not worth the hype.

We were only missing a second heater as it was very cool and there was some relaxed Spanish music in the background! We would have liked to have stayed longer because we felt very comfortable. Unfortunately we had to leave the igloo after 2 hours. Nevertheless, the evening was wonderful. We will definitely come back to repeat this beautiful experience! Die Iglus sind viel zu kalt. Wir waren zu fünft und haben uns den A... abgefroren. Ein kleiner Heizlüfter pro Iglu ist einfach zu wenig. Sieht alles schön aus, Essen war gut, aber auch schnell kalt und mit Eisfüßen einfach kein Genuß und dafür ganz schön teuer. Bei Außentemperaturen unter 8 Grad nicht zu empfehlen. Am Ende stellte sich dann noch heraus, dass die EC-Kartenzahlung nicht funktioniert. Sorry, da ist noch viel Luft nach oben.

It would be nice if it were perhaps on the website itself. This was repeated again on site - I celebrated my birthday and you don't have to mention something like that in front of my guests, especially since the three emails have already made it clear to me. Instead of 8 people there were only 6 of us - this was criticized because there is a minimum consumption value but we kindly only have to pay for 6 instead of the minimum value for 8 - thank you?. And we wouldn't have gotten an igloo for 6, but they are only available from 8 - I was told by phone that from 6 people you have your own igloo and on the website it also says from 6 people. We had reserved the table from 3:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The waitress came at 5:30 p.m. and informed us that she was already preparing the bill because the next guests were coming at 6:00 p.m. At 5:45 p.m. two waitresses came and asked us to leave because the next ones were already there. Other restaurants have a timeslot for something like this. We couldn't put our jackets on in peace anymore because the two waiters had already cleared the entire table. When I paid, I consciously didn't want to leave a tip, but the change wasn't given back to me and I wasn't asked if I would get anything back. My point here is the principle - the few unwanted tips bother me less. It was very cold in the glass igloo. I hope it was just a one-time experience and next time it will be better. You can park nearby with a parking permit

The food was delicious, but in bad weather it is really cold under the dome, and if you have a seat right next to the door it also drips from above.

Unfortunately it was a bit cold in the domes, but otherwise very tasty food and great service!

It was a wonderful and special evening, thank you for everything! The igloos are heated and the team was very attentive and friendly. The ambience was really fantastic. You can eat in peace and look at the water in a glass ball :) + the prices are really fair.

First of all: The food was really great and the lady in service was also very helpful. Unfortunately, the rest of the service staff didn't make as much of an effort. It was really bitterly cold in our crystal ball. There weren't enough blankets for all the guests and the small fan heater was tried, but in the end it didn't help. We waited a total of an hour for our food. You shouldn't take a closer look at the toilets either, as white fur is already forming on the walls. It was definitely an experience, but we won't repeat it.

Everything is great! Unfortunately, certain drinks and dishes that were on the menu were not available! Very nice staff!

Location great, everything else was a flop. Heavily overpriced, uncaring staff and stomach aches after eating are all free of charge. Never again !!!

Food was good, location with the domes outside is really good, but what was particularly noticeable was our service person, a French-speaking lady, and incredibly nice, funny and attentive, and that on New Year's Eve, thank you for being there for us that evening 👍 🏼

We were interested in the new glass houses. We saw that there were round tables inside. We also found this fact to be an advantage for a group of 7 people. Unfortunately we were given a square table. The reservation went without any problems. A day before visiting the restaurant, I gave the number of people and confirmation of our reservation by telephone. On the day of the reservation I received at least 3 emails asking me to please confirm my reservation. Then I got a call too. I didn't like that at all. At the end there was another email saying that the restaurant requires a minimum turnover of €39 per person. The restaurant seems to be under pressure for sales. Obviously the service has the task of being active at this point. Although we had generated a much larger turnover, we didn't like the fact that the service here was so friendly. That ended up ruining our evening with dessert. We ordered the dessert variation for 2 and wanted to eat it for three. Our waiter told us he would also give us a Dubai cheesecake. We specifically said that we didn't want to pay any more for dessert. In the end this cheesecake was added to the bill, which is not okay at all. In addition, the dessert and especially the cheesecake didn't convince us either. Positive: We enjoyed the food. Our Pinot Gris was also good. Negative: The house didn't get warm with a radiator. We didn't like the dessert variation and the whole situation with the sales pressure. The questions with the reservation confirmation and the many emails are unreasonable. The food was served way too late for a two hour time slot. Conclusion: We don't necessarily have to come back.

Very nicely located, now in glass domes in winter

The evening was great. The food was also good and the service was friendly and attentive, considering that the waiters always have to serve the food outside in the cold. However, it should have been warmer, a tiny blower isn't enough. This should be remedied. The two-hour rule was also not pointed out in advance. Hence the deductions.

This is a cool place. I like the dom concept they have! Ambience is out of the expectation for me

The ambience is cool and the food is nicely prepared... unfortunately that's about it for the positive aspects. Unfortunately, the employees don't have much to do with hygiene. They covered the food with their jackets and transported it through the rain without any covering. Unfortunately, when you look at the food you can see and taste that it is microwave-warmed food. Apart from that, the prices are far too overpriced for the unfortunately (poor) “quality”. (We had tapas and eat them often. Unfortunately the chicken was lukewarm and tough.) Unfortunately I was very disappointed :(

Great food, nice service! Since it was very cold yesterday, a second heater in the dome would have been nice.
