Rice meets chicken - sensational. Good-humoured staff. Deductions because it was quite loud in the “food court”. But there is also a huge selection of other food sources.

Such great, nice service. My wife was very impressed with the owner. The food was great, price performance was absolutely okay. The Harms Hall itself is a great location. I love it when you can buy food from different stalls and eat it on site. Unfortunately, shops are already empty. It's a shame, but you can't immediately see what awaits you from the outside.

The sun child at Harms Markt is an enrichment for Bielefeld. NY street food at its best, we love it. Not only is the food fantastic, the people who run Sonnenkind are also super nice people. We had a delicious meal at Sonnenkind twice and that certainly wasn't the last time. When the tacos are available in August, we will definitely come back to Bielefeld. The Ufo Burger is a solid hamburger that tastes good. The Twister Fries were super tasty, perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The homemade lemonade was refreshing and not too sweet, which I really appreciated. What should be mentioned positively: There are different lemonades on offer, so it never gets monotonous. Based on a recommendation, we went to Bielefeld again to try out New York street food. It was a real culinary delight. Excellent balance between rice, meat, salad and sauce. Lamb and poultry were perfectly cooked & seasoned. The dish was simply indescribably delicious and a pleasure for the senses. Gregor is an excellent restaurateur, very transparent when it comes to food and an absolutely cheerful nature. The service therefore deserves 5 stars DELUXE. Sonnenkind is located in Harms Markt, where many different restaurants are represented. You can either sit down directly at the counter at Sonnenkind or choose one of the many seating options in Harm Markt. The toilets were always clean and well-maintained, so you can enjoy going on a culinary journey in the Harms market.

It was super tasty! The new owners have put a lot of effort into it. There are the previous dishes and a few delicious additions. The Twister fries are awesome and especially the Ufo Burger. Simply delicious, try it out and just ask the chef about veggie alternatives.

Ate there for the first time. The UFO was excellent and lots of fries with it. I had a small problem with payment... Simon solved it really well. Thanks again for that.

Some time ago we were at Harms Markt on a Thursday evening and ordered our food from Sonnenkind. It was quite busy so we expected a longer wait. After almost an hour there was still no food in sight and we asked once. There we were told that our food had been ready in over 20 minutes and they were surprised. We sat outside and apparently the pagers didn't work due to the range. (there were four of us and we had two and both didn't work). Unfortunately there was little understanding behind the counter and we had to eat cold food. A pity Update 10/31/23: We were there again and were able to enjoy the dishes hot and are thrilled, which is why the rating has now been changed to 5 stars. The beepers have been replaced so such incidents will no longer happen. Thank you very much, keep it up.

Was there yesterday with two friends, visiting the city. Phew, 500ml less sauce per burger or portion really wouldn't have hurt; everything literally drowned in it. No wonder the burgers were overcooked on the edges. One friend had a different burger than me, his was exactly the same. The friend's french fries salad was a funny idea, but here too they simply poured as much greasy, tasteless sauce over the whole thing as possible. Seemed somehow listless and unimaginative, sorry. Some people here seem to like it, but I think that fat is simply no substitute for taste - in this case, apart from the fatty sauce, you simply didn't taste anything else, not even the very little meat that was hidden in it. That's somehow not the point of ordering a burger. I don't mean anything bad, and the staff is certainly nice, but I thought for a while that I had ended up at "Saucekind".

Unfortunately, the UFO burger truffle was anything but a delicious burger. The slices of beef rump turned out to be tiny cubes of meat that you had to look for in the mayo-mozzarella pampers. There were hardly any diced tomatoes either. A pity! Really not what you expected from the description.

Incredibly delicious dishes. We had the UFO burger and the rice meets lamb dish. Both tasted excellent. Great street food. The super friendly young women are in a really good mood and very attentive.👍

Gestern erstmalig bei Sonnenkind bestellt. Wir hatten zweimal den Briochelaugenbun mit Chicken Pulled und BBQ-Sauce und einmal den New York Cheesecake. Der Briochelaugenbun war sehr lecker und mal etwas komplett anderes. Das Fleisch schmeckte ebenfalls gut. Super zart und reichlich belegt. Hat uns beiden sehr gut gefallen. Die Lieferung kam zeitlich auf den Punkt und war noch sehr warm. Der New York Cheesecake ist sehr cremig gewesen, leckerer Boden und insgesamt ein echt guter Cheesecake. Wir kommen gerne auch mal für vor Ort vorbei.

Unverschämt leckeres Essen. Vom Klassiker Rice meets.. mit den tollen Möglichkeiten, diese mit Lamm, Huhn oder Sonnenblumenkack zu kombinieren, über den unfassbar leckeren und kreativ gestalteten Ufo-Burger, bis hin zu den süßen Speißen, ist alles in allem ein purer Genuss. Der Red Velvet Cake im Becher ist mein Favorit und ein absolutes Gedicht. Dazu gibt es stets hausgemachte Eistee Vatiationen. Preis-Leistung ist unschlagbar und abgerundet wird das alles mit dem super freundlichen, aufmerksamen und zuvorkommendem Personal. Weiter geht es dann mit dem Ambiente. Die Farbgestaltung ist clever durchdacht, alles ist hochwertig und die Beleuchtung gemütlich. Ich hätte nie erwartet, dass man sich in einer Markthalle wie in einem kleinen Restaurant fühlen könnte 😅 starke Leistung 👍 und IMMER einen Besuch Wert.

Das Angebot bei Sonnenkind ist spitze. Streetfood, das man so noch nicht kennt und abwechslungsreich ist. Ufo-Burger gibt es nur hier! Dabei handelt es sich um gepresste Burger in Ufo-Form. Die leichte Schärfe des Burgers hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch zu empfehlen ist das vegane Hack aus Sonnenblumenkernen, das mir Reis, Tomaten und einer Jogurtsauce serviert wird. Ein perfektes Gericht für die Mittagspause. Für die Nachmittagszeit gibt es viel Süßes. Richtig lecker ist der New Yorker Cheesecake
