Rachids Kitchen - Tacos de Lyon in Bielefeld

I recently visited your fast food restaurant and unfortunately I was very disappointed for several reasons. The saleswoman seemed very stressed and unfriendly, even though there were no other customers present. The bread was hard and the quality of the meat caused me health problems. The atmosphere in the restaurant also leaves a lot to be desired. The furniture is old and looks like it comes from another time - it lacks comfort. When a new customer visits your restaurant, you should try to win them, not lose them. I hope you see this criticism as an opportunity to make improvements.

Rachid is one of my favorite restaurants, although the atmosphere in Kesselbrink is not pleasant. But this restaurant has made it better. My favorite sandwich is Merguez Sandwich it's a baguette sandwich filled with Merguez Sausage and salad and fries on it I prefer to have Anadolusien Sauce. Then I bite it every time with joy and I look at it and also enjoy life.

I often come by Rachid's Kitchen and the shop really appeals to me. Now it finally worked out and we were there, but we were pretty disappointed… I didn't expect that a bowl only consisted of fries, some salad (actually just green with 2 tomatoes and some corn) and 4 falafels. My friend's taco roll was better because it still had the dough, but neither was really worth €9... It's a shame, but we probably won't come by again.

Addendum: Rachid kept his word and the next taco was free, and really good too. 🙏 The tacos / baguettes are very tasty, but what I found to be a shame is that after I asked what the colleague at the checkout would personally recommend, we changed the sauce because his suggestion sounded good. However, the colleague left both sauces on the receipt, I mentioned this directly as a precaution to avoid that both sauces were still in there at the end and that it would be far too much... The statement was after I explained this to two employees " I can't guarantee whether this can be changed now, which I don't think is fair to the customer, that's the responsibility of the staff. :) Ultimately, one of the tacos was drowned in sauce and unfortunately not edible.

Rachid Abi was there today and made the most delicious baguette out of love. I definitely recommend the shop. The atmosphere and the service is unique. If you really want to eat delicious food, you should come here!

We ate there for the first time today. Great atmosphere, food was prepared quickly and very tasty. What I would like, other fries, I find the fries that are offered a bit boring. For example, sweet potato or curly fries would be cool.

Was there for the first time. The good man explained everything to me calmly and gave me very good advice. The baguettes were prepared very quickly and packaged neatly. Rachid is an incredibly hard-working and down-to-earth person who cares about the well-being of his customers, which is reflected in the service and the incredibly delicious and lovingly prepared food. I miss the small, honest shop where everyone stands on their feet and after 5 seconds you smell like you've worked there all day. For economic reasons, I can understand the expansion of the store. Order placed: Taco = 6/10 was ok but nothing special Chicken nuggets = 3/10 poor quality The competition (many know who this means) simply overperformed during the time that Rachid's shop was closed and is simply doing it better. Will I come back or can I recommend it: Unfortunately not anymore.

I was there today with my boyfriend and we each had a taco plus fries and chili cheese nuggets and it was so incredibly tasty! The prices are completely reasonable for what you get! We were totally full after the taco! Overall, really tasty food and everything very freshly prepared!

I'll tell you a story about the owner who was there three years ago. When I told him not to put myunisa in the sandwich because my son can't eat it because he has cancer. He didn't want to take any money from me and said he made the best sandwich for both of us. After three years, I went to the new restaurant again with my family. Rachid the best one ever 🙏💪

The prices have risen quite a bit but the taste hasn't gotten any better "Baguette 9 euros" white bread topped with salad, fries and meat... I have the feeling that the boss himself prepares it better and I have to say there are better places. I haven't been there for a long time and now I know why. Tasty food on Kasselbrink. The guys in the kitchen and counter were super friendly. The place seems to be pretty popular as it was busy both times I was there. Around lunch expect some waiting time. My taco was more like a burrito but it tasted good and was very filling.

Very tasty tacos. Really filling. My wife's bowl looked a bit bland. Ambiance is the modern industrial look. Self service. Payment possible by card. The reaction was a bit strange when I wanted the deposit for my bottle back. Hardly anyone does that. I would simply forego the deposit calculation.

The food is still delicious, but these little talks with Rachid are what made the visit to the old shop so special. He recognized you as a regular customer and knew straight away how you would like your taco. Now you are just a number in the system, Rachid only works in the background and the whole store is only geared towards masses. The new employees are nice too, but there's just something missing. P/L isn't really good anymore either. I thought 8€ for a taco was okay, but I now find 9€ to be very borderline. 🫤
