Absolut empfehlenswert! Wunderschöne Lage mit toller Aussicht und das Essen war sehr gut. Von dort können diverse Wandertouren gestartet werden und man hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Chiemsee bzw das Umland.

Schöner Platz. Aber man wollte unser Bargeld nicht und deshalb sind wir weiter.

Habe kein Zimmer genutzt, kann es daher nicht beurteilen.

Auf der Rechnung ist schon Trinkgeld mit drauf 🤔

An einem normalen Tag sind fast alle Getränke aus und ein Schnitzel für 30€. Nur Kartenzahlung und Karte per QR-Code.

Bei meinem Besuch an der Kampenwand wurde mir das Lokal empfohlen und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Die Aussicht hätte mehr Sterne verdient ,das Essen war fachlich genau auf den Punkt und sehr gut sowie ansprechend angerichtet und der Service war freundlich , zuvorkommend ohne aufdringlich zu sein . Die Preise sind angemessen für diese Qualität. Wir hatten den Kaiserschmarrn und die Tafelspitz Sülze. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Ein traumhafter Ort. Wenn Sie Berge, atemberaubende Aussichten oder frei grasende Kühe inmitten herrlicher Berglandschaften mögen, kann ich Ihnen diesen Ort nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Sehr gutes Essen und super nettes Personal

Hier stimmt einfach gar nichts. Speisekarte ist ein Witz. Die halbe Speisekarte ist gar nicht verfügbar. Die Preise grenzen in meinen Augen schon an kriminelle Machenschaften. (Leitungswasser: 6,50 Euro) Und die Grösse und Qualität der Speisen ist eine bodenlose Frechheit. Hier ist man nur auf das liebe Geld der Gäste aus. Selten, oder besser gesagt noch nie, so ein schlechtes Restaurant gesehen. Kann jedem nur empfehlen einen grossen Bogen um diese Hütte zu machen.....

Also die Fahrt mit der Gondel zum Gipfel ist bestimmt nicht für jeden geeignet. Die Fahrt dauert ca 15 Minuten. Es gibt Stellen die gehen schon sehr viele Meter in den Abgrund und der Magen macht sich bemerkbar. Oben am Gipfel angekommen ist alles vergessen und man hat einen super Rundumblick. Bei der Sonnenalm haben wir einen Kaffee getrunken, leider nicht ganz günstig für einen Filterkaffee. Aber egal. Es hat sich allemal gelohnt.

Ich habe Erfahrungen mit dem Restaurant gesammelt. Wer arm werden und durchschnittlich bis schlecht essen möchte ist auf dieser Alm genau richtig. Die Kombination mit schlechtem Service toppt dieses Vergnügen. Ich empfehle diese Alm nicht. Ein Kaiserschmarrn für 20€ ist bisher der Höchstpreis, den ich jemals irgendwo gelesen habe. Geht ein paar Meter weiter, dort oben gibts weitere Almen in die auch Einheimische gehen- da gibts Essen zu einem almüblichen Preis und meist auch entsprechende Qualität dazu!

Nach 15 Minuten war noch kein Keller bereit unsere Bestellung aufzunehmen, die Damen durften das nicht. Die Frau am nebentisch hat sich dann bei der Bedienung beschwert da Nach 45 Minuten noch kein Essen eingetroffen ist. Dann fluchtartig die Gastätte verlassen

Super Aussicht, allerdings auch teurer

Besuch am 7.7.26: Sehr schön gelegener Gasthof in Bestlage, nach kurzem Fußweg von der Bergstation zu erreichen. Das Willkommensschild war "Nur Kartenzahlung- Kein Bargeld". Für Freunde des Bargelds mehr als ernüchternd. Eine Speise-/ Getränkekarte gibt's lediglich in Form eines einlaminierten Blattes mit 3 Bildchen und einem QR Code zum Selbstscannen. Ohne Handy und mit der nicht entsprechenden Technik, besonders für Senioren, eher kundenunfreundlich. Die Wartezeiten auf die Bestellung ließen sehr zu wünschen übrig. Auf Nachfrage war die Bedienung zu allem noch schnippisch was sehr befremdlich war. Es wurde noch erwähnt das Personalmangel sei. Das hätte man der Fairness halber auf das Schild mit "Nur Kartenzahlung" dazu schreiben können. Der Kunde kann schließlich nichts dafür. Der Kaiserschmarrn sah gut und reichlich aus, wurde auch oft bestellt, was so zu sehen war, fiel aber nicht in unsere Auswahl. Meine Wahl war Tafelspitzsülze mit Bratkartoffeln, als Freund von Bratkartoffeln die erste Wahl. Nur hatte das mit solchen leider nichts zu tun. Halbierte mittelgroße Pellkartoffeln (also gekocht mit Schale) kurz in Öl geschwenkt, völlig verfehlt. Wartezeit 40 min. Fazit: Schönes Gasthaus mit super Blick. Und liebe Betreiber, oder wer auch immer kritische Kommentare auf den Googlebewertungen wegzensiert oder wegzensieren lässt, wenn ihr nicht kritikfähig seid und ehrlich damit umgehen könnt solltet ihr in den Spiegel schauen und euch Fragen stellen. Wir kommen nicht wieder zum Essen, leider.

Extrem teuer. Qualität mittelmäßig. Das neue Speisekartensystem - unterirdisch schlecht. Was macht man ohne Handy?Hungern? Genau do macht sich Deutschland kaputt. Dringende Ablehnung.

Toller Ausflug mit meiner Reisegruope zur Kampenwand

Nach dem wandern zur Kampenwand gab es einen kleinen Abstecher zum trinken und essen. Essen hat top geschmeckt, auch der Service war super. Freundliches Personal und auch flink. Bei starkem Wind ist der Außensitz nicht so gemütlich aber das weis man ja, ist ja normal. Alles in allem kann ich nur empfehlen💪🏻

Die Lage und Aussicht sind einmalig. Auf die Frage nach einer Karte wurden wir auf QR Code verwiesen. An dem Tisch , der eingedeckt war , wo wir uns hingesetzt haben, wurde nicht bedient,weil angeblich kein Personal da ist. Es waren aber auch nur 8 Gäste da. 3 junge Mädels vom Service saßen im Gastraum und wollten nicht gestört werden. Vom Nachbartisch erfuhren wir daß das Essen nicht gut war und sie ebenfalls vom Service schlecht bedient wurden. Wir sind dann gegangen. Also Mädels vom Service macht weiter und last euch auch in Zukunft nicht von lästigen Gästen stören. Wir können unser Geld auch woanders hin bringen.

Ich kann die Sonnenalm nur bei maximaler Auslastung bewerten. Wir waren zum Sonnenwendfeuer da. Die Lokation und die Organisation waren sehr gut. Der Service und das Essen waren ok.

Man muss die Getränkekarte scannen und kann nur mit Karte bezahlen

Auch wenn es Gäste gibt die sich nicht benehmen können und mit dem Service nicht zufrieden sind weil sie denken das sie noch was raus holen können, es gab zur Entschuldigung einen Sekt der nicht geschmeckt hat,muss ich sagen das mein Apfelstrudel TOP war. Ich fand den Service top und die Bedienung freundlich. Schade das es auch solche Leute gibt. Wer meint das er auf einer Jausenstation 5** erwartet ist dort nicht ganz richtig. Uns hat es jedenfalls sehr gut gefallen.

Die Sonnen-Alm ist überhaupt nicht zum empfehlen.Der Service ist so miserabel,dass man sich wirklich ärgern muss.Man wartet schon halbe Stunde am Tisch,dass da mal ein Kellner kommt,und kommt auch keiner wenn man nicht aufsteht und reingeht,um sich zu beschweren.Die Kellner gehen nur an einem vorbei,schauen einen an und wird man einfach ignoriert.Das nächste Problem ist auch noch zusätzlich,dass es dort keine Speisekarte mehr gibt,sondern nur übers Internet mit dem Code auf dem Tisch zum Einscannen.Aber das funktioniert nicht,weil es dort kein Internet gibt.Wenn man den Kellner sagt,dass es mit dem Internet nicht funktioniert,dann wird man einfach saufrech angeschnauzt.Der Service ist einfach nur noch miserabel.Man kann dort gar gar nicht mehr hingehen.Sowas ist echt ärgerlich.Aber das ist zum Glück nicht die einzige Alm auf der Kampenwand.Es gibt dort noch genug andere Almen,wo man noch hingehen kann und die anderen Almen sind auf jeden Fall sehr viel besser

Was für ein wunderschöner Ort in traumhafter Lage auf über 420 Metern Höhe! Perfekt, um die Aussicht zu genießen und etwas zu essen und zu trinken. Der Service ist aufmerksam, aber bei großem Andrang kann es zu Wartezeiten kommen. Wir waren gegen 15 Uhr mit der Familie dort und hatten alle eine tolle Zeit. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Sehr schönes Restaurant auf der Kampenwand. Das freundliche Team ist stehts um die Gäste bemüht. Sehr schönes Ambiente im Innen und Außenbereich. Traimhafter Blick in die Bergkulisse bis hin des Wilden Kaisers. Ein Manko gibt's aber, die Speisen sind eindeutig zu teuer für diese Qualität.

Ist schon eine tolle Kulisse und in der SonnenAlm konnten wir ein gutes Mittagessen einnehmen. Kartenzahlung als einzigste Option ist deutlich kommuniziert. Wir hatten das Münchner Schnitzel und konnten über die Qualität, Zubereitung und Service nur gutes berichten! Die Preise-geschenkt, bei der Location-alles gut 👍

Bei herrlichen Wetter und puren Sonnenschein nach 3 stündiger Wanderung noch einen super Platz ergattert und ein leckeres kühles Bier mit einer Vesperplatte gegessen. Leider sind die Preise zu den anderen Hütten eher sehr teuer. Man kann auch nur Bargeldlos bezahlen. Ansonsten echt Top

Leckeres Essen mit freundlicher Bedienung in atemberaubender Umgebung

Ein Stern weniger, weil es sehr sehr teuer ist. Die Alm liegt gleich an der Seilbahnstation und die meisten, so auch wie, kehren dann direkt ein. Der Service ist super, keine Frage. Das Essen ist lecker, das Bier war gut. Wenn man runter läuft von oben, kommen noch mehrere Einkehr Möglichkeiten, wo das Essen meistens nur die Hälfte kostet.

Wir waren heute, am Pfingstsonntag, in der Sonnenalm, genossen die (besagte:-)) Sonne, die kühlen Getränke und den bombastisch guten Kaiserschmarrn!!! Noch mehr begeisterte uns aber ANDREA, die zügig und mit Pfiff unsere zahlreichen Wünsche erfüllte! Trotz Hitze und sehr viel Publimsverkehr hatte sie für jeden einen freundlichen und auch humorvollen Spruch übrig ! Danke dafür!!! Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder!!

Leider eine enttäuschende Erfahrung. Wir haben ein Schnitzel bestellt und über eine Stunde gewartet, ohne dass das Essen serviert wurde. Während der gesamten Wartezeit kam auch kein einziger Mitarbeiter vorbei, um nachzufragen oder uns über die Verzögerung zu informieren. Erst nachdem wir selbst zur Theke gegangen sind und nachgefragt haben, wurde das Gericht endlich gebracht. Der Service war leider sehr enttäuschend. Schade, denn die Lage und die Aussicht des Restaurants sind eigentlich wirklich schön.

Tolle Alm mit abwechslungsreichem Angebot diverser Leckereien (Selbstbedienung im Außenbereich)

Zum Brunch, war allerdings nicht besonders. Ausschreibung von 11:30 Uhr bis 14 Uhr Brunch, 12:30 Uhr wurde alles abgeräumt. Kann ich nicht wirklich empfehlen.

Superblick von der Sonnenterrasse und auch innen alles total neu und sehr schön gestaltet. Man kann nicht bar zahlen, war für uns kein Proble, sollte aber beachtet werden.

Die Alm ist ziemlich neu. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Wir haben Kaffee getrunken und Kuchen gegessen, war lecker.

Top Aussicht auf den wilden Kaiser Watzmann und Großglockner, Sonnenalm sehr schön aber teuer

Die sonnenalm liegt an einem wunderschönen Ort mit einem traumhaften Ausblick. Die Räumlichkeiten sind lichtdurchflutet, modern und sehr schön. Die Gästezimmer sind klein aber ist das alles vorhanden. Es gibt nur eine Toilette, am Stock und zwei Duschen. Die Doppelbett - Zimmer sind über eine hohen Stiege zu erreichen!! Kulinarisch war es leider eher enttäuschend. Das Service ist bemüht.

Wir waren zu Gast auf der Sonnenalm für eine Nacht mit unserer Familie und in einer großen Gruppe zu einem Geburtstag. Die Räume sind für eine Hütte sehr gut. Schade natürlich, dass es nur Gemeinschaftsbäder gibt. Diese könnten während des Aufenthaltes etwas sauberer gehalten werden. Das liegt sicher auch an der Gruppe, trotzdem wäre zwischendrin mal Wischen gut gewesen. Wir hatten ein schönes Fest - mit einer FETTEN AUSNAHME. Unsere Tochter leidet an einer Lebensmittelunverträglichkeit und wir hatten deshalb die Küche eindringlich gebeten, uns bitte nur aus den angegebenen Zutaten etwas für sie zusammenzustellen. Das ist echt blöd, wir passen so sehr auf, wir versuchen zu vermeiden und ja, das ist natürlich unser Problem - und wenn gar nichts geht, dann akzeptieren wir auch Pommes oder Rührei - da wissen wir, dass das keine Probleme macht. Wenn wir uns aber auf die Aussage des Personals verlassen, dann aber doch überall Zwiebeln drin sind und unsere Tochter sich dann vor Schmerzen krümmt, und leider auch 2 Tage von der Schule daheim bleiben muss - dann ist das leider nicht OK. Der Service war insgesamt nett und zugewandt und das ist so schade, wenn man dann feststellt, dass es an der Ernsthaftigkeit mangelt.

Sind nach einer Wanderung hier eingekehrt. Die Sonnen Alm besticht durch ihre rustikal, moderne Einrichtung und das hervorragende Panorama aus dem Restaurant. Wir haben den Kräuter-Kaiserschmarrn ausgewählt, mal was anderes, können wir weiterempfehlen! Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen mit Ihren Liebsten, mit wunderschöner Aussicht, einem guten Restaurant mit leckerem Essen und freundlichem Service.Hausdame Tamara verfügt über umfassende Ortskenntnisse und hat unseren Aufenthalt durch ihre Gespräche mit uns sehr angenehm gestaltet.

Die erste Anlaufstelle nach der Seilbahnfahrt

The location is great, but the staff stand bored at the main counter, heads in their hands, and attend to the few guests present in a truly "touching" manner. A major drawback is that they only accept card payments, no cash. Dogs aren't really welcome either, but we were exceptionally allowed to sit with our dog right near the door. That was the only thing that slightly increased the star rating; otherwise, I wouldn't really recommend it.

We wanted to set up deck chairs outside in the beautiful weather. The staff strictly forbade us from doing so, as they didn't want to put them away in the evening. Even our suggestion that we would do the tidying up ourselves was to no avail.

The view is simply amazing. The food prices are completely out of proportion. Very expensive, and we've definitely had better meals. The service isn't very attentive. They seem overwhelmed and annoyed. The digital menu is practically useless. If you don't have a signal, you can only use the free Wi-Fi, which is very slow and barely loads. It would be nice if they still had paper menus. Personally, I like digital menus, but only if they work flawlessly. We definitely won't be eating here again. The drinks are okay. We'll only come back for the fantastic view of the Kampenwand mountain.

Rooms were very clean, typical for the location; excellent food with equally excellent service.

The waiter was very slow; we waited almost two hours for coffee and still only got coffee without sugar!!

Beautiful view, friendly service, drinks menu only accessible via QR code. Small food menu as the alpine hut is only open in November when the weather is good. Acceptable prices, very tasty food. Payment by Visa or debit card only. I have no complaints.

I can't comment on the overnight stays; we were just the two of us for lunch and coffee after a hike. Great location, great view, but truly awful service, especially regarding food intolerances. There was no willingness to help, nor any flexibility. The allergen menu was seven years old, and the app was unreliable. Besides coffee, there wasn't much else to choose from. Fries would have been an option, but they wouldn't sell them separately. They were out of salad that day. In my opinion, the prices were far too high. By the way: the owner of the alpine hut seems to be appealing negative reviews on Google, which is why there are almost no one- or two-star reviews, and the average rating is 4.6 stars. This rating is certainly not appropriate. Let's see how long this review stays here.

Update Nov. 2025: This review was temporarily deleted again due to alleged defamation. "We would like to inform you that a complaint has been filed alleging that your recent review infringes certain rights for a local business. Therefore, Google was obliged to remove the review in question." I appealed again and won. My tip: AI is excellent for writing appeals. Update Feb. 2025: The hotel is now taking action against negative reviews. This review was initially removed and then republished after an appeal. The management's behavior is very revealing. Original review: We stayed there. The prices are outrageous, and service is nonexistent. When we left a very expensive electric toothbrush there, they supposedly handed it in at the cable car station. But we never got it back. This shows once again how little they cared. The location is great, but the management definitely needs to be replaced. It's a real shame.

A magical spot with wonderful views of the Chiemgau region and Lake Chiemsee. Whether inside or outside on the terrace, it's always a pleasure to linger. Good selection of food and drinks.

We had a delicious Kaiserschmarrn at the Sonnenalm with a view of the mountains and excellent, attentive service. Everything was very quick, and payment was cashless only.

Amazing view & delicious Kaiserschmarrn The view is truly fantastic – a perfect break with a panoramic vista! The Kaiserschmarrn was tasty (we can't say for sure if it was freshly made). The prices are rather high, but that's probably to be expected given the location. Overall, a worthwhile stop if you're in the area.

Great view, but unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to be served. The outdoor seating was packed, so we had to sit inside. Sadly, the focus was entirely on the people outside, and we seemed to be "overlooked." The menu is only accessible via QR code, which doesn't work very well with the poor internet connection on the mountain. So we left empty-handed and stopped at the hut a little further down the trail. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Unfortunately, reviews are being deliberately reported as defamatory here. Criticism is being ignored, which is a shame. It would be fantastic if you could work on improving yourselves. Then you would truly deserve 5 stars. ♥️

A truly great stop. The mountain panorama is, of course, magnificent. We've been there several times now. The service does take a little longer, but it's bearable.

Kaiserschmarrn beer and shandy. Reasonably priced, clean, friendly, modern, good service, and a uniquely beautiful view. The whole short cable car trip here was expensive—but unforgettable. We're satisfied. Thank you.

Unfortunately not, too expensive, after 15 minutes still no service, what a pity

There were 6 waiters on site, but the service was lacking. We had to wait 15 minutes until a member of staff was available, who told us we had to speak to the staff member in charge of our table. Another 10 minutes later, someone finally arrived in our area and took our order. The ice cream we ordered was the first to arrive after a few minutes, another 5 minutes later the drinks arrived (a water, a coffee, and an iced tea, unfortunately the wrong one and the only one in stock that day), and the cake we ordered never arrived at all. We noticed in passing that many orders were incorrect because they were sent back to the kitchen. If the Alm had been overcrowded, we would have understood, but it was only maybe half full. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment for us, and we won't be going there again.

Our concern: Planning and booking our wedding reception. We were absolutely thrilled with the SonnenAlm. After hiking there, we've been there several times. The view is stunning and the location is super modern. We used the online configurator to plan our wedding. It worked perfectly. Our budget was about the price of a small car. The problems began immediately with communication: After entering all the information in the configurator, I didn't receive any automatic or personal confirmation. After a few days of waiting, I finally followed up by email. They offered me a date, and I asked if we could have it in two weeks, as I was on vacation in the area at the time anyway. This was confirmed. We arrived on time for the agreed date and invested just under €62 in cable car tickets for me and my family. Once we got there, we learned that the manager was running late because she had to take her daughter to the Tiersee Triathlon. For a binding business appointment, for which customers travel specifically and pay an entrance fee, this is absolutely unacceptable and disrespectful. On a positive note, the very competent and friendly team leader who represented them deserves special mention. She showed us everything and painstakingly handwritten all the data I had already entered into the configurator weeks before. When the manager finally arrived, the first thing she told me was that our desired date had been booked in the meantime. The disappointment was indescribable. Despite this outrageous treatment, I agreed to postpone the appointment by a week and request a quote. This quote corresponded to our discussion. However, I was missing the house rules and general terms and conditions to make a final decision. When I specifically asked, I received the unbelievable answer that there were no written house rules and that the general terms and conditions would have to be "searched for first." This statement was the final proof of the lack of professionalism. A look at the existing reviews confirmed my suspicions: There was a clear pattern of unreliability and poor organization. We immediately looked for a new location. Conclusion: Pretty from the outside, a chaotic operation from the inside. Initial communication falls flat, agreed appointments are not taken seriously, and essential contractual terms are not available in any tangible form. Unfortunately, the friendly team leader cannot disguise the failure of management. For such an important and costly event as a wedding, this is the worst possible basis. We found our dream location elsewhere and advise everyone to do the same.

Nice location, beautiful interior design, and a great view. However, the prices are, in my opinion, disproportionate (€19.50 for a dry Kaiserschmarren from the tray or €5.40 for a cappuccino from the machine).

Nicely decorated. Unfortunately, the staff was very unfriendly, the menu was limited (but pricey), and unfortunately, no Kaiserschmarren (even though it's on the menu).

We only came here for dinner. It was OK, but nothing more. Prices were quite high. Service was friendly and attentive. The view is, of course, beautiful.

We had breakfast here, but didn't stay overnight, so no review for the rooms. Breakfast and everything else was delicious, but quite expensive. The bread, rolls, and pretzels were dry. Reheated? Hence one star deduction. Very friendly service. Tables lovingly set. The view is unbeatable!!!

The location and the view are truly fantastic, and the same goes for the decor. The restroom capacity doesn't quite match the restaurant's capacity (too little). This is especially true on a day when a mountain brunch is taking place. The quality of the food doesn't match the price. The quality and taste of the food are reminiscent of a large cafeteria or hospital. However, the prices are on par with an upscale restaurant. Even considering the location and logistics, the prices aren't justified in terms of quality. The service lacks structure. For example, we had to reorder an order four times before the order finally arrived after 45 minutes, and that was for drinks.

The cappuccino was terrible, but the cake was okay.

We went to the Sonnenalm for brunch last Sunday. The food was okay, but not a real culinary explosion. The price is reasonable because the train ticket is included. The service leaves something to be desired; our water order only arrived after asking four times. The reception was also slow and inconvenient. We probably won't be back again.

Beautiful alpine pasture, friendly service and the Kaiserschmarn is amazing

Extremely overpriced restaurant/hotel, that makes you feel like you‘re paying off their debt for fancy furniture and terrace, that they should have invested in their actual services. We paid €260 for a double room, including dinner and breakfast. Our bedroom was clean, but very small, with a very low ceiling (husband could not stand up straight) and poorly aired. The showers and toilets were shared. Dinner was ok, but vegetarian option was a sad afterthought, half a courgette in tomato „sauce“ (really the soup we just had as a starter) and bland boiled bulgur that we were told was rice. Breakfast was ok, but options were limited. Only white bread rolls and no cereals. The worst thing was that the water from the taps is not drinkeable and that they shamelessly charge you €7 for a liter of water. Not only is this a disgrace for a place that claims to be catering to hikers, but it is against EU regulations too. If you‘re too cheap to install a filter, at least serve drinking water for free or at a service fee. All in all, we will never go again. Views are fantastic, but can also be admired standing next to the terrace. Don’t spend your money here, but learn from our mistake and book your accomodation in this area in advance so you can avoid this place that looks fancy but fails to deliver in every relevant aspect.

Beautiful surrounding and spectacular views. Unfortunately ridiculous price/value. 260€ for a double room with minimal space. Ceiling is 1.9m at the entrance for 20cm and then slopes down. Shared bathrooms only. AND NO DRINKING WATER! Be prepared to pay 7€ for a Liter of drinking water. Dinner and breakfast are included. Both were OK but very simple. A few veggies with rice and the soup from the starter poured over it for vegetarian option. And only bread roles cheese and ham and boiled eggs for breakfast. No cereals, fruit or anything else. Every cheap mountain hut serves better food. Nothing to justify the price.

There were far too few staff members, and the employees couldn't keep up. We simply weren't served for an hour, even though we asked twice at the counter. Then we left without ordering anything.

We took the little cable car up since it was already mid-afternoon. When we arrived, the crowds were manageable. After our tour, we felt like having a coffee, but we couldn't get one. After sitting and waiting for 30 minutes to be served, and being assured that someone would come, we left. The place was moderately busy, the waitresses were hopelessly overwhelmed, and drinks and food were constantly being returned. We decided to leave, which was a shame. We didn't have a room! On the other hand, the gondola staff were very friendly and accommodating, with a smile on their faces.

Unfortunately, I don't recommend it. We were booked for lunch with a group of about 50 people. The food arrived 45 minutes late. The portions were rather small, average in taste, and expensive. The service staff were clearly overwhelmed. A meeting was planned afterward, but the room wasn't really prepared because the previous guest's dishes were still lying around. Due to the delay in the meal, we couldn't use it to its full potential as planned. My objective feedback was met with a disappointing response in which the responsibility for the problems was shifted entirely onto our group. There was no concession, such as a waiver of the room rental fee. Very disappointing, and in our opinion, not a professional way of dealing with guests.

Price-performance ratio isn't right. I've never paid so much for a Bretteljausen and gotten so little for it. Think carefully about what you order here, or whether it might be better to go to a different hut. The wait was also very long, by the way. Drinks came with the meal.

Service was poor. No communication about restricted areas. Extremely long wait times. Staff seemed completely overwhelmed.

Delicious food with a beautiful view and a cozy indoor and outdoor area. Even though the orders weren't served in quite the right order, I wouldn't underestimate the very friendly service. My absolute favorite dessert is especially recommended: the Kaiserschmarrn – simply heavenly.
