Mega delicious food and very accommodating waiter. The enjoyment was next level

First of all, I would like to praise the top service, as I have never experienced such an organized and at the same time friendly waiter in a completely booked restaurant, the sushi is of the highest quality, which I have never seen before in Leipzig. The only thing I have to complain about is the small tables - understandable - they want to fit as many people as possible on two floors. It was really a successful evening.

Minh was an amazing server! He was very attentive. Spoke English, German and comedy! Would highly recommend the food. The Gyoza was served hot and the creamy white gravy was unique but lovely. The sushi ingredients were fresh. The rolls were garnished beautifully and served with a small show! First time here and will absolutely be visiting again.

We had a wonderful evening. On the 1st floor there is a beautiful view of the Karli. I would also like to highlight the very friendly and professional service. All dishes and the cocktails were excellent.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants - friendly/quick service, large selection, top quality. Unfortunately, they now only target tourists: it feels like every six months the menu gets smaller and more exclusive, the selection of the previously delicious sushi is now mini, as are the portions. Even with half occupancy, the service is unable to look after guests quickly and professionally. If you can do that, it's a strategic decision to reposition yourself like that. But it's a shame for everyone who knows how good it used to be.

We spontaneously went out to eat and got a table. The food was really delicious, the service really fantastic and the advice. When we are in Leipzig, we will definitely come back. Thank you for the experience

Sushi restaurant, on Karli for years, but not yet discovered. After a delicious selection of sushi with homemade, fresh wasabi, there was a unique cocktail created by chatting with the bartender. It wasn't a bad idea to have a sake with the house's recommendation for the main course.

A nice and very courteous service that you would want, but unfortunately you rarely get it anymore. The food was delicious and all in all we absolutely recommend it. We enjoy being guests and would love to come back. A little tip, it's better to reserve a table, it was very busy.

This is how a visit to a restaurant should be! Friendly, courteous reception (cloakroom is removed), quiet table by the window, professional waiter who accompanied us discreetly but always attentively throughout the evening. We ate sushi and before that a shrimp tartare and a creamy and spicy vegetable coconut soup, all in all some of the best Japanese cuisine you can get in Leipzig. Very happy again!

Really nice food. We had also some delicious sushi, summer rolls here in the pic, and the king prawns were incredibly tasty. I observed that it was fresh. Everything we ate seemed to be just fresh. We would definitely recommend.

Very attentive staff, make things possible, flexible, customer focused. Sushi was above average in quality, but we thought the price was a bit too high: we had the One4Two for €62. There were also a number of very simple makis here, the question is whether the cost of goods corresponds to the price. We all said: rather no. We say: 10% too expensive. But in any case the Sona is recommended.

Serene experience, the food was exceptional and full of flavour. The waiter, Minh, who served us was classy, spoke 6 languages and made us feel incredibly welcome. He checked in regularly to see if we needed anything and gave great recommendations. Would definitely come again.

Great restaurant! Super friendly and competent service and a very pleasant atmosphere. We sat right in front of the Dry Age fridge and ate gyoza and the sushi menu. Both definitely recommended and we will come back.

Sona is one of my favorite restaurants, but there aren't many of them because I have to stick to a strict gluten-free diet. Therefore, I often know the standards of the respective cuisines more precisely than the standard consumer because I have to ask specific questions. Both the furnishings of the restaurant and the always friendly and very fast service are of high quality and thoroughly stylish. The food is served quickly or delivered to your home even when the store is full. If you have any questions, you will be listened to carefully and helped. If you can't find what you're looking for in the frequently changing and creative offerings of Asian fusion cuisine (e.g. due to intolerances), it will be taken seriously and you'll be given a loving selection that's right for you - the sushi is my personal highlight at Sona (including gluten-free soy sauce)! So absolute recommendation and full marks - here you don't just get fresh fish and other good food, but also something pleasant for the soul. All-round good dining with heart and soul - thank you, dear Sona team and see you soon!

We celebrated our one year anniversary here and it was just perfect! The reservation went really well and the table was beautifully decorated - a great start to the evening. The food came quickly and was incredibly tasty. We can particularly recommend the Crunchyrolls and the mochis for dessert – a real highlight! The atmosphere is cozy, stylish and invites you to feel good. Big praise to the attentive and friendly staff.
