We had a wonderful evening in a cozy atmosphere, with great service and excellent food. In short: We highly recommend Restaurant Sona!

The service was simply unbelievably good and was only surpassed by the food. For the quality offered, it was very reasonably priced.

The service was very good at the beginning. Unfortunately, as the evening progressed, we weren't really looked after anymore. Nevertheless, it was a great evening with very good food.

We ordered the sushi platter for two and were absolutely delighted. The fish was excellent and beautifully presented. The service was also very attentive and friendly, and they were happy to provide interesting information about the origin, preparation, and cooking of the fish and the other ingredients upon request. Highly recommended!

Sona remains an excellent place to eat well and experience exceptionally attentive service. The quality has been consistently high since Sona opened. My only comment is that the "You & Me" sushi platter is becoming less common. However, the ingredients are still excellent.

We've been regular visitors to this restaurant for years and are always very satisfied with the quality and presentation of the food! If possible, when making a reservation, you might want to ask for a table upstairs; we find it the most appealing. Ordering is also very easy!

We've been there several times and the food is really good. However, their prices have become ridiculously high. They only offer small beers, and at €5 (for a 0.33l Warsteiner), they're simply overpriced. Unfortunately, this is a reason for us to reconsider future visits.

First, let's talk about the service. The staff was incredibly attentive and, on top of that, incredibly funny. We were thoroughly entertained, which is truly rare in the restaurant industry these days – to actually have any interaction at all. So, thank you very much for this pleasant and fun evening. The sushi and the food in general were of very good quality. The appetizer platter, with several dishes not on the menu, is particularly recommended. All the sushi variations we had were also highly recommended and not something you often find. The price is well worth it for this experience. We will gladly return.

Plus, the service was truly pleasant and competent, and they gave us excellent, friendly advice. We'd be happy to come back! We were seated upstairs on the first floor. The ambiance was very pleasant, with a modern Asian style and a view of the Karli. It wasn't too loud, so we could have a good conversation.

I made an online reservation and indicated it was a birthday dinner. Our table was set up with real style, the food and service at Sona are always 10/10 (hands down, best pho in Leipzig), and there was even a birthday candle for dessert haha Highly recommended!

We stumbled upon it by chance. We were passing through and wanted to have sushi. It was very unassuming from the outside, and the inside seemed quite small downstairs. I can't say what it looked like upstairs, as we didn't go there. It was very cold; I was freezing cold and I put my jacket over my legs. The service was really good, and so was the food. High quality and the price was right. Unfortunately, I found one situation at the end inappropriate. We paid, and my partner didn't quite understand the amount, and the waitress just said, "Oh, thanks for €1, my kindness paid off." I already had my wallet in my hand and wanted to tip because, as I said, my partner didn't quite understand. The waitress then left us sitting there cold. I put my wallet back because I personally don't think that's okay. Yes, it's their job, and you certainly expect tips in the service department, but you shouldn't be hasty and wait a moment... we always tip. But not like that... We ate for well over €100 for two people. Too bad...
