Very cozy atmosphere Delicious food

Good Italian cuisine. Nice restaurant, very friendly and attentive service. Delicious pizza, great salads. Appealing and tasty other dishes. Prices are average, but justified.

I never would have thought I'd find such an excellent Italian restaurant in Euskirchen of all places. Despite the extravagant touches, it's the best Italian home cooking, just like Mom used to make. Absolutely next level. We'll definitely be back. Thanks also to the exceptionally attentive service.

This time the restaurant was very noisy. The noises came regularly, either from the kitchen or from outside. They tried to mask the noise with music, making conversation impossible. The food was served quickly, but it was disappointing in both taste and appearance: the pizza was partially burnt, the pasta was very al dente, and the breadsticks were burnt on one side and still very pale on the other. Unfortunately, only two stars this time.

The ambiance is truly beautiful and modern. The appetizers (bruschetta, chicken croquette, and sweet potato) were consistently very good, as was the pizza, which was visually appealing and delicious. Unfortunately, the other main courses had significant shortcomings: The duck was far too raw and, even after being sent back, very tough. Furthermore, we would have appreciated an additional side dish with the sautéed rapa. We sent the duck back again, but with the understanding that we didn't want another one. The steak was ordered well-done but arrived medium-rare, and the accompanying vegetables were also very raw and only lukewarm. Visually, everything was very attractively presented (see photos). We waited around 70 minutes for our main courses without any updates from the server. The service was attentive at the beginning but deteriorated significantly after the first drink, and no one inquired about further beverages. On the positive side, the server proactively removed the duck from the bill. Overall, it's a real shame, as the restaurant has a very good presence on social media. Unfortunately, in the end, it wasn't enough to go beyond a good pizza. We won't be coming back.

Lecker pizzalch recently visited Solino in Euskirchen. The pizza was truly excellent, no doubt about it. But unfortunately, the rest was simply disappointing. I was only in the restroom for a moment, and in that time, the waiter simply cleared away my half-full gin and tonic glass without even asking. Furthermore, the beer tasted flat, as if it had been open for ages. A real shame, because you can tell from the food that they could have done so much better. Overall, it was unfortunately not a good experience.

We were at the thermal baths in Euskirchen today and spontaneously decided to eat outside the baths. When I searched for restaurants on Google, Solino came up first, and the reviews were all great... What can I say? It was sensational! The best pizza I've had in years, the service was incredibly friendly and efficient. Absolutely delicious. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. ♥️

We dined at Solino for the first time as a couple this Tuesday evening. The ambiance immediately won us over. The lighting was subtle, the interior very tastefully minimalist. The slightly club-like, light music was perfect. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food selection was more than just classic Italian! Homemade pasta, Neapolitan pizza, and unusual toppings rounded out the offerings. We enjoyed the salami pizza and the homemade mussel pasta with Gorgonzola sauce and chicken. Both were delicious and highly recommended. The drinks menu is varied and sufficient for simply enjoying a pleasant evening at the bar. The price-performance ratio is excellent across the board. The only downside is the lack of card payment options! I find that unacceptable these days. But you can definitely work on that...

We were here today for the first time, but definitely not our last. Everything, from the service and drinks to the truly delicious food, was perfect! There's someone in the kitchen who truly enjoys cooking. Highly recommended!

I had dinner at this restaurant on a Friday evening at 8:00 PM. We each had a starter and a main course, along with a 0.4l Coke, a bottle of water, and two glasses of wine. We ended up paying just under €80, which we think is a very reasonable price. We liked the ambiance, and even though the restaurant was completely full, we were able to have a good conversation and understand each other, although it was noisy due to the number of guests (which is unavoidable). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The waiters were all very friendly and attentive. During our stay, they always kept an eye on the guests, which was reflected in the service. One of the waiters came by regularly, asked how we were doing with our meal, and if necessary, brought us something to drink, for example. The service was extremely cordial, which made us feel well looked after. A very respectful and friendly tone was maintained. For starters, we both had bruschetta, one "regular" with just tomatoes, and one with guacamole. We enjoyed the starter excellently (very fresh and garlicky without the garlic dominating the flavor). For my (personal) taste, the bread could be a bit thicker, but it's not absolutely necessary. My wife, for example, found the thickness perfect. The guacamole had a bit of a wow effect on me and immediately made me look forward to the main course. It was very creamy and complemented the flavors well. For main courses, we both had tagliatelle. The portions were good/reasonably large. We both struggled a bit with it in the end, but the flavor was wonderful. The pizzas at the neighboring tables also looked excellent. At the end, there was a shot on the house (delicious with alcohol, but you couldn't taste it). We were both given a hearty send-off. All in all, we will definitely be back. We want to continue eating our way through the menu. My wife would have appreciated a small dessert option on the menu (even though we were both completely stuffed by the end). This place is definitely recommended! A few final words from me: We'd love to be back! We're looking forward to it 😄

Bruschetta appetizer: soggy bread, tomatoes cold and standing in water (probably straight from the fridge), no garlic, no salt, tasteless. Main course: Pizza Burrata Pesto: The flavor of the ingredients was okay, but the pizza wasn't fully cooked... the crust was raw and burnt on the outside. We casually mentioned this to the waiter after the meal, whereupon a distraught man (the boss or the head chef, or both) stood at our table and aggressively told us that his pizza was always a bit watery (?) because it's Neapolitan. We didn't mention that our colleagues in Naples bake their dough all the way through... we dutifully paid and left. This food and this service (the actual service was good, but the boss's performance at the end was off) for this much money is truly outrageous. Never again.

The visit to Solino Ristorante & Bar in Euskirchen suffered from the significant discrepancy between the polished social media hype and the actual performance of the kitchen and service. The restaurant presents itself perfectly on Instagram, but fell short in crucial and fundamental aspects. The kitchen: Serious flaws despite its attractive appearance The dishes were consistently photogenic and well-presented, but the shortcomings in preparation and transparency weighed heavily: Octopus appetizer: The appearance was appealing, but the dish had one serious flaw: It contained sun-dried tomatoes, even though they weren't listed on the menu. This is unacceptable and poses a high risk for allergy sufferers. Risotto (with baby vegetables): The dish did not meet the standard. The risotto was not creamy, as it should be, but completely overcooked and had a mushy consistency. This is a clear sign of a lack of care. Salmon (main course): The fish was dry and visibly stressed by the heat. Dessert (mille-feuille): The filling tasted floury and also disappointed the high visual expectations. Positive exception: The pizza was the only dish that was excellent and lived up to the promise of Italian cuisine. Although the uneaten dishes and the disappointment were pointed out during clearing, there was no concession or gesture from the restaurant to mitigate the experience. The only question at the end was a brief: "Are you full?" No card payments were accepted. Only cash or instant bank transfer were possible. This lack of modern payment methods is a major annoyance for many guests. My companion had to leave the restaurant to withdraw money, which unnecessarily burdened the entire evening. At Solino, the saying "You eat with your eyes" applies more than anything else (My eyes ate more than my stomach). The dishes are visual masterpieces, but the contents often don't live up to the high standards and premium price. Between the sometimes poor service and the dishes that fluctuate between excellent and disastrous, a feeling of disappointment remains.

The food and service were very good. We ate outside that day. The center's guests were consuming a lot of cannabis, which was really distracting during the meal. However, the restaurant can't be blamed for that. Overall, there's nothing to complain about with the food, but the payment isn't ideal: You can only pay in cash, and the waiter hands you the bill, so you have to figure out who's paying how much. It's a bit annoying, but otherwise, the restaurant is highly recommended.

After going to a indoor water park we looked up places to eat and Solino popped up. Has a great atmosphere in a quiet location. It was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Food was great 10/10!

5 stars for the service and the food. They were happy to accommodate requests, and the food was very fresh. Homemade pasta, just like Grandma's, and pizza with truly fresh ingredients. Not the typical pizza and pasta dishes you usually find in pizzerias. The taste was excellent. The dessert rounded everything off perfectly. I give the ambiance 4 stars. It was a bit dark and the tables a bit smaller, which I personally didn't like so much (it was the smaller side room, to the left of the entrance). The main room was a bit brighter, with pleasant music in the background.
