Great ambience, super nice service and delicious food

I had previously ordered tiramisu as a dessert for 6 people, unfortunately only twice. But pannacotta was unbelievable for €7.50. Service was terrible, it wasn't served coherently. Too bad. We were the only guests upstairs, unfortunately the table was only cleared after repeated requests. The main courses were delicious.

Cozy atmosphere. Delicious food. Top service. We'll meet Again.

For me the best Italian in all of Leipzig, incredibly friendly, polite staff, family atmosphere and the food is world class. Wishes are always taken into account and you feel well looked after.

Very unusual, good restaurant. Cozy outdoor seating, friendly staff, great service, accommodating, friendly. Eat varied Italian dishes. Parmesan soup, ox cheeks with gnocci and Mediterranean vegetables, and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was super tasty.

Be careful when ordering by telephone. Apparently an old menu with identical pizza names still exists online. So it could be that you're sitting in front of the wrong pizza in the evening. Especially annoying for allergy sufferers. Why people don't just give the pizzas different names is a mystery to me. Receiving a €5 voucher as compensation isn't really satisfactory either. It's a shame, but there are enough other Italians in Leipzig.

I had a really fantastic evening with my girlfriend. We felt like restaurant critics without being one. In other words, fast service, very tasty food with little greetings from the kitchen (pizza bread and salad) and a very cozy atmosphere. I can highly recommend it.

We had dinner there on my birthday. Unfortunately I had a hair on my pizza, the waitress took it down and put the pizza back on my seat! When I said I thought it was disgusting and wanted a new pizza, it was taken away again. I don't know whether it was a new pizza or not. She was pretty dry too. Everything was very expensive. I will not visit the restaurant again. And don't recommend it either.

Hallo, wir gehen öfters mal in das Sole Mio und waren eigentlich immer sehr zufrieden. Gestern war es leider ein totaler Reinfall...sehr lange Wartezeiten allein schon auf die Getränke und zwei Essen von 4 mussten wir wieder zurück geben, da nicht genießbar. Ein neues Gericht wollten wir dann nicht mehr bestellen, da die Wartezeiten einfach zu lange waren. Es gab als Entschuldigung Tiramisu. Sind trotzdem mit Hunger wieder nach Hause gefahren. Hat das Personal oder der Besitzer gewechselt? Waren echt enttäuscht.

We had a very nice and pleasant lunch today. The food was very tasty and fresh and the service was really friendly and accommodating. Always happy again!

We can't recommend it... we were told by phone that all tables were full. Since it was on our way, we stopped there anyway. And lo and behold, there were a lot of free tables on the terrace and in the restaurant. We had to wait forever for our food, it was served almost cold, so we had to give it back. The drinks were forgotten and only brought when asked. All in all very disappointing. No apology from the staff. There is no relationship between price and performance.

Little food for a lot of money and a long wait!! Is not recommended. The prices on the website are not the prices on site! A lot of things are up to 10 euros more expensive. Fraudulent deception...for me! There was a long wait on site, even though around 5 tables were occupied on Thursday. The veal schnitzel in an egg shell was a disgrace for the price! The plate already looked lonely. The actual schnitzel was apparently cut into thirds... (the second plate was at best the size of a nugget but no longer a schnitzel!) the schnitzel pieces were very dry and tough... well if it was bad then it was good. (Photo posted..) The children's food for the little ones was also not enough. The school children also easily ate the adult noodles. Savings were systematically made everywhere ☝️ All in all a real letdown, but expensive! We definitely won't be coming back...

Unfortunately it's no longer our favorite place because the menu no longer suits our taste. The food wasn't hot either. Smaller portions than before, but more of a chic menu. The ambience is still very nice. The service too - asking a little less "whether everything is OK, whether it tastes good" does the trick too.

Today I ordered veal with spaghetti at Sole Mio in Holzhausen. I got this children's portion for €24.90. You can't be serious, can you? You won't get tired of it! You go to a restaurant to eat properly, to fill yourself up! It's a shame, we won't be coming back.

Delicious pizza and great wine.

Never again! Yesterday we were invited to Sole Mio. We haven't been there for years because we had very bad experiences. But we were in good spirits and in a good mood when we arrived. Unfortunately we were disappointed again. There were eight of us and the restaurant wasn't full (not for the whole 4 hours) and five service staff on site. The table was reserved in advance, but the request to sit inside was denied, for whatever reason. Probably so that we don't notice how overwhelmed the employees are. But it became very uncomfortable and cold outside for the three of us, well over 70, and for all of us. In short: 1 hour until the drinks, 2 hours until the starter, 3 hours until the main course. After 4 hours we were finished and finally served. Something was always forgotten, a drink (not just at our table), an appetizer, an ingredient on the plate. The dishes we ordered did not come to the table together. Eating at the same time is not possible. The food tasted great, the plates were preheated but the service and organization were subpar. Regarding the ambience: the access area to the outdoor area is blocked with several terrible chains. A rattan sofa with a table and wood placed on top are there next door. Both exude the charm of a construction site and we didn't feel any joy in having to look at it for 4 hours because we were sitting there. If you want to close off escape routes, you can certainly do this tastefully, for example with flower pots. Before our visit to Sole Mio, we were still thinking about whether we would go there with our friends next weekend. We wanted to wait for the evening. After the starter and the chaos yesterday, I made a reservation somewhere else by phone while sitting at the table.

Nice atmosphere, solid pizza, nothing more. Ordered a table for 10 people and we showed up just 5 minutes later. After ordering the drinks we wanted to order appetizers. The waitress then said “then it will take longer to eat” so we were basically talked out of the starter. After 1 hour we asked when the pizzas would come and another crazy answer: "It's taking so long because you came late" (how can you say something like that to a guest, we should have left straight away) After 1 hour and 45 the pizza came of the birthday child when everyone else has already eaten. Drinks were completely forgotten by 2 guests. These only came after 30 minutes...I'm sorry for the review, but the owner urgently needs to do something about the staff, that's absolutely not possible, it's desolate. The service is not good at all, the staff is completely overwhelmed. No card payment, be careful dear tax office!!!

Once and never again. The two of us ate here today, we had to wait a whopping 2 hours for 2 pizzas, that's not possible at all. After an hour we asked where the food was. We then had to wait another hour. This restaurant is not recommended. Guys, go somewhere else. I can't understand all the positive reviews.

Since I really wanted to try out Sole Mio in Holzhausen, we got together as a small group and visited Sole Mio. We were all very satisfied with the dishes, which were really on point on the table. Our waitress was very friendly and gave us good advice. The pizzas were really thin and super crispy.

Very very tasty. There was a temporary staffing problem. The slightly longer waiting times in service were made irrelevant by the very competent and friendly service.

The “Sole Mio” restaurant in Leipzig Holzhausen is characterized by an inviting ambience, and what is particularly noteworthy is the opportunity to sit outside at a beautifully set table. We were there with a group last Saturday. Unfortunately, our dining experience began with a wait that required some patience: although we arrived promptly at twelve noon, the pre-ordered starters were not served until around 1:30 p.m. The quality of the food was variable overall. The starter plates, obviously made with a lot of love, and the pizza dough were good, while the main courses provoked different opinions. The pasta with strips of beef fillet I ordered was surprisingly acidic and lacked any noticeable sauce. My wife's lasagna, on the other hand, seemed to be cooked so softly that the noodle sheets could hardly be made out. Another point that marred my experience was the behavior of an employee towards an Asian colleague, apparently a temporary waiter. It was clearly visible that the interaction with the colleague was not very empathetic and that he was reprimanded in the presence of guests, which was both unprofessional and unpleasant for my wife and I. Respectful treatment among employees, especially guests, is essential for a pleasant atmosphere. In summary, the visit to “Sole Mio” left mixed feelings. While certain aspects of the food and the external environment were convincing, the overall experience was marred by the late service and unprofessional treatment of staff. For future visits, improved coordination and more respectful interaction within the team would be desirable.

Eine sehr schöne Pizzeria mit einem idyllischen Freisitz. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Die Bedienung ist außerordentlich freundlich und die Preise sind fair. Wir haben uns bei unserem Besuch sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Restaurant sehr empfehlen.

Unfortunately, we cannot fully recommend the restaurant. The service staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere was also very nice. However, we were not happy with some aspects of the meal. The pizza toppings were good, but unfortunately the dough was too dry. Other dishes were also too salty, which affected the enjoyment. Another point that displeased us was the question as to whether we were satisfied with everything. This came way too soon and left us wondering what the consequence would have been if we had returned the food. All in all, due to these points, our visit to the restaurant was unfortunately not as satisfactory as we had hoped.

Cozy restaurant with good food. We were unlucky with the service, as several colleagues and an oven had broken down that day, but we had been warned. So be it! However, I found the price of 8.50 euros for a bottle of still water unreasonable. (It costs 1.50 euros in the supermarket) Before we could even sit down, we were suggested to order a bottle without us knowing the price.

We went to Sole Mio for dinner again today. As always, it was delicious and the service was courteous. It's a great restaurant with great outdoor seating, highly recommended. We will be back .

Has nothing to do with an Italian restaurant. Have never had such a bad meal in an Italian restaurant. Although the restaurant was hardly full on Sunday lunchtime, we had to wait almost an hour for the starter. The main course had nothing to do with an Italian preparation. We thankfully skipped dessert on the menu. A pity

I was very disappointed on my birthday....Prices for water.......Hellooooo? AND, wine is and remains wine, even if you charge prices like those for high society... IS IT STILL WORKING!? FOOD OK, BUT OVERALL - THAT WAS ONCE AND ALL - THE LAST TIME!?

Good Italian, good food, unfortunately very little antipasti, selection of desserts could also be a little larger, but very friendly staff and nice ambience. Only problems with card payments are very annoying, but otherwise recommended

We spontaneously went to Leipzig on a Sunday and had lunch at Sole Mio. The food was very good. The service too. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. Thank you.

We waited 2 1/2 hours for our food and there were things on the bill that we didn't have.

A very nice restaurant with an Italian atmosphere. It's always good to have a reservation here. The crowd is big. Of course, there are more seats available every summer, so the outside seating is also open. The food was good as always on our last visit. There is a small greeting from the kitchen, which varies depending on the season. The menu is clear, but that's good for the food. What is on offer is excellent. I'm not a fan of overloaded menus and uniformity. The staff was super nice, listened to our requests and, despite the house being full, the food came within a reasonable time. Thank you very much and we will come back in the summer.

We love eating here, but our last visit was unfortunately disappointing, despite tasty food and friendly staff. Started with the reservation, the opening times on the homepage have not been correct for a long time... There is also a new map, but why are there no longer any allergens labeled there? 😔 My husband got the wrong food. When we asked what the difference was between "spaghetti with scampi" and "scampi with pasta", we didn't get a satisfactory answer. (But it was billed correctly) I was most disappointed with the finished gluten-free pizza base. When asked, it was claimed that it was homemade...

Wir waren spontan,ohne Voranmeldung essen. Seit ca. zwei Jahren die Angebotskarte nicht mehr verfolgt. Diese war etwas enttäuschend. Ca. 6 Pasta Gerichte, 1 Fleischgericht, 1 Fischgericht in der Karte und natürlich zwei Seiten Pizza. Soweit ok. Als wir aber das einzige Fleischgericht bestellt haben wurde uns kurz darauf mitgeteilt, dass dieses aus sei. Bei dem Versuch auf das einzige Fischgericht zu wechseln auch Fehlalarm. Am Schluss tauchte noch ein Lachsfilet auf –nicht in der Karte–. Übrigens dieTafel mit den Extras wurde uns nicht gezeigt. Also Lachs mit Pasta bestellt. Als wir fertig waren und bezahlen wollten kamen auch neue Gäste. Die haben dann die Tafel mit den Zusatzgerichten erhalten und den Hinweis, dass es noch Rinderbäckchen gibt. Was bitte soll ich davon halten? Diese Info kam zwei Stunden zu spät. Auf die Frage was das soll, wurde nur auf den Chefkoch hingewiesen. Bei allem Verständnis, aber diese Allüren kann sich auf Dauer kein Restaurant leisten. Ich überlege mir sehr stark ob ich dieses Restaurant noch mal besuche. Sehr schade, es gab Zeiten da waren wir einmal wöchentlich da.

We went out to eat a few years ago and were really impressed, but this time we were totally disappointed. We waited over an hour for the appetizer alone. And just as long again for the pizzas. And that in a half-full restaurant. Pizza was average and the pasta was so much with cream sauce that you had no chance of finishing it and that for over €20 Conclusion Unfortunately Sole Mio won't see us again

Sehr lecker und die Speisen auch optisch schön angerichtet. Hätte alles etwas schneller gehen können, aber hatten wohl einen kurzfristigen Personalengpass. Kinder haben ihr Essen aber schneller bekommen. Extra Lob!

Wir kommen schon seit über 5 Jahren ins Sole Mio. Es ist unser absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant und es bricht mir das Herz dass wir nicht mehr regelmäßig aufgrund eines Umzugs kommen können. Umso besser ist es, dass teilweise jemand die Zeit findet und uns das Essen bringt!!! Das Essen ist wirklich wunderbar, egal was man hier isst - es schmeckt. Auch die kreativen und wechselnden Tagesgerichte sind jedes Mal überzeugend! Bedienung ist immer lieb und auch unser kleiner Hund ist stets willkommen und wird mit Wasser und Snacks versorgt. Wir waren heute zu zwölft im Sole Mio essen! Es war wirklich ein tolles Erlebnis,weil wir von der ersten bis zu letzten Minute großartig betreut wurden! Der Service war herausragend, das habe ich wirklich lange nicht mehr in der Gastronomie erlebt! Da liebten wirklich mehrere Mitarbeiter:innen ihren Job, denn auch das Essen war fantastisch! Und das alles bei einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder! Danke für diesen wunderbaren Abend :)

Wir waren vor kurzem bereits zum Essen dort und hätten an dem Tag 5 Sterne vergeben. Tolle Atmosphäre, super nette Bedienung, leckeres Essen, Preis- Leistungsverhältnis sehr in Ordnung. Diesmal war es leider ganz anders. Mein Mann ist auf glutenfreie Ernährung angewiesen und auf der Karte wird geworben, dass es jede Pizza glutenfrei gibt. Leider war gestern der Teig ausgegangen. Dass das dann bestellte Nudelgricht mit Hackbällchen nicht glutenfrei ist, fiel der Bedienung erst auf, als meine Pizza schon auf dem Tisch stand. Er hat dann etwas gefunden, das gut geschmeckt hat, aber erst im 3. Anlauf. Für uns die Erkenntnis des Abends: immer vorher anrufen!

Wir haben an einen schönen Abend gedacht, dieser endete jedoch in einer großen Enttäuschung. Wir haben geschlagene 85min. auf das Essen warten müssen, leider war die Bedienung an diesem Tag auch nicht ganz auf der Höhe, wie sie es jedem Gast mitteilte. Wir sind entäuscht. Der Service hat in den letzten Jahren Stark abgebaut......

Wer nach italienischer Küche mit sehr leckeren Speisen und super freundlichem Service sucht, ist hier richtig.

Essen war alles frisch zubereitet und hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Restaurant sehr hübsch gestaltet. Leider überall an den Fensterbrettern und in allen Ecken Spinnen und es waren nicht nur kleine Ganger. Service anfangs richtig super. Leider zum Ende hin nicht mehr. Man gönnt allen ihre Pause, vorallem nach einem stressigen Tag, aber wenn man weiß, dass man noch Gäste sitzen hat, sollte man vielleicht ab und zu noch hingucken. Wir haben fast 45 Minuten auf dem Trockenen gesessen und gewartet das wir bezahlen können. Die eine Servicekraft hat anscheinend ein "Tonband verschluckt". An jedem Tisch die selben Sprüche zur Begrüßung, zwischendurch und zur Verabschiedung.

Komisch, beim letzten mal war alles perfekt. Jetzt, ein Jahr später, ist alles ziemlicher Durchschnitt. Qualität der Küche hat ziemlich nachgelassen. Und der Service ist ziemlich ungelernt, aber bemüht sich und ist auch höflich. In Summe waren wir 2,5h dort, weil es auch ewig gedauert hat, bis wir unser Essen bekommen haben.

Hervorragendes italienisches Essen zu angemessenen Preisen. Je nach Traffic kann die Wartezeit aber auch etwas länger sein. Bedienung war dort äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Parkplätze direkt davor sind in kleiner Anzahl vorhanden, mann kann sich aber auch (wenn man das regelkonform macht) auch ohne Probleme auf die Strasse stellen. Das Essen war köstlich und authentisch italienisch. Der Service war äußerst zuvorkommend und aufmerksam, und sie haben sogar spontan eine Reservierung für uns organisiert. Ein rundum gelungener Abend!

Volle Punktzahl für die beste Pizza ever. Service mit viel Humor und Freude, Essen mega lecker, Wartezeit normal. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Tipp: Vorbestellen ist kein Fehler 😉

Die Pizza war in Vergangenheit wesentlich größer und der Piizzaboden hat ein anderes Rezept als vorher. Die Pizza hat die Größe einer Tiefkühlpizza. Geht gar nicht!!! Ich bin daher sehr enttäuscht. Außerdem wurde Hausgemachte LIMO für 7,50 € angeboten !!! So etwas habe ich noch nicht mal an der Cote d'Azur gesehen.

Heute sehr leckere Spaghetti und glutenfreie Pizza gegessen👍Bedienung nett und „auf Zack“…kommen gerne wieder.

War etwas enttäuscht von der Speise

War mal eine Top-Location, heute nur noch Durchschnitt. Viele Pizzen, aber nur wenig Alternativen, schade! Und dann waren die bei unserem Besuch auch noch ausgegangen. Für uns lohnt sich der weite Weg nicht mehr.

Super schön...zum wohl fühlen Essen lecker und reichlich

Ich habe bei meinem letzten Besuch leider einen schlechten Tag erwischt. Die Servicekräfte waren sichtlich überfordert, obwohl nicht alle Tische besetzt waren. Das resultierte in sehr langen Wartezeiten. Einige Speisen waren nicht mehr verfügbar und für ein Eis war weder Soße, Sahne oder Früchte da. Dennoch haben wir den lauen Abend im Freisitz genossen und das Essen war lecker.

Erst wurden wir gedrängelt zu bestellen und dann haben wir eine 3/4 Std. auf bruchetta und antipasti gewartet. Beim Hauptgang fehlte dann eine Pizza, die kam 19 min später. Nach Getränkewünschen oder nachschenken wurden wir nicht gefragt. Kartenzahlung ging nicht und das Schild an der Tür sollte man sehen wenn man reinkommt. Da ging allerdings an Tee Tür die offen stand und nicht leserlich war. Note 6 nicht empfehlenswert - mit Abstand das Schlechteste was ich hatte

Waren heute da und wirklich positiv überrascht. In diesem Restaurant wird dem Nachwuchs im Servicebereich eine gute Chance gegeben, den Service am Gast zu perfektionieren. Hut ab vor solchen Arbeitgebern. Das Team hat perfekt zusammen gearbeitet. Essen war reichhaltig und sehr sehr lecker. Wenn Essen frisch zubereitet wird, dann kann es auch mal einige Minuten länger dauern. Spiegelt sich aber wieder in der Qualität der Speisen. Sehr gutes Essen,schönes Ambiente und nette Bedienung. Aber die Zubereitung der Speisen dauerte anderthalb Stunden, das war nicht schön,auch auf die Getränke musste man zum Teil sehr lange warten.

Dieses Restaurant ist wirklich in sämtlichen Punkten zu empfehlen. Wir wurden außerordentlich freundlich und herzlich empfangen und bedient. Wir wurden anfangs mit einem Gruß des Hauses in Form einer kleinen Vorspeise verwöhnt. Selbst unser kleinen Hundedame wurde spontan ein Wassernapf bereit gestellt. Das Essen und die Getränke waren für unseren Geschmack deliziös. Die Preise waren angemessen. Macht weiter so. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder her.

Wir waren Sonntag mittag dort. Da wir schon zu Ostern dort waren und unter langen Wartezeiten leiden mussten, ratterten wir unsere gesamte Bestellung, bis auf die Desserts, herunter, als die Kellnerin kam. Dennoch mussten wir auf die Vorsuppe eine halbe und auf den Hauptgang über eine Stunde warten, obwohl wir als erste bestellten und das Restaurant ganz schwach besucht war. So eine Pizza dauert in einer Pizzeria ein paar Minuten und auch der Lachs war kein Hexenwerk. Die Qualität war ordentlich, aber nichts besonderes. Die Kellnerinnen waren freundlich und bemüht. Insgesamt mussten wir zwei Stunden zubringen, und das mit einem Kind. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Meine Frau und ich waren spontan zum Spargelessen hier. Der Spargel samt allem drum und dran war vorzüglich. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem eine runde Sache.

Wir freuten uns auf einen schönen Besuch im Sole Mio Holzhausen. Leider war die Warte auf das Essen mit über 90 min für uns viel zu lang. Auch viele andere Kleinigkeiten haben nicht gepasst. Deshalb war es nicht der Besuch den wir uns erhofft haben.
