Unfortunately, I couldn’t enjoy my meal. The server asked where I’m from and then shared his negative opinion about my country, which made me feel very uncomfortable. It was an unpleasant experience that overshadowed the food and overall visit.

Everything was perfect, the food was very good and the service was also very good etc.🥰

Absolute disaster. I bought two currywursts there for my son and me on Saturday: a classic one for my son and a medium one for me. Unfortunately, they apparently overlooked this, as my son received the spicy sauce. Since I didn't want to stand in a 10-meter line again, the currywurst ended up in the trash. Unfortunately, it was inedible for a child, and with stomach problems, it wasn't good for me either. The sauce and sausage were nothing special in terms of taste; I've eaten much better. (Hunger drives it in.) The fries (sweet potatoes), on the other hand, were quite good. Unfortunately, not really recommended.

When I lived in Berlin, I often ate currywurst, but it tasted just like that when I had it after a long time. **One order is enough for two people.** It might be salty for Koreans, but this is the kind of food they eat for that taste. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Eat it as a side dish with beer and dip your fries in the sauce. When you order, they'll ask you what kind of sauce you want, and if you say [sharp], it will be a little spicy for Koreans. [Classic] will be just salty. It's not the best, but it was good because you could still taste the currywurst flavor. I think I'll eat it again next time I go to Munich.

When you're leaving from MUC and have some time to spare, Smokey Joe's is a must stop for their Currywurst with sweet potato fries ! However if you don't want to fly with afterburner, be sure to choose their "classic" sauce as the safe option 😉.

Je vais vous exposer ma récente expérience : Je me suis rendu une seule fois, le dimanche 13 juillet 2025, en fin d’après-midi, j’étais dans le restaurant au Smokey Joe’s près de l’aéroport de Munich. Je vous explique mon expérience très décevante : - mon collègue a commandé le même menu que moi pour 11,50 EUR et a payé comptant en argent en espèces. Quant à moi, j'ai utilisé ma carte de crédit pour payer après que mon collègue a payé sa formule repas. Je saisis mon code de carte bancaire et le serveur masculin me prend la boîte de paiement dans mes mains ! Il m’a dit que la première tentative avec la carte de crédit n’avait pas fonctionné en refusant de m’envoyer le ticket d’erreur de transaction. J’ai saisi le code de ma carte de crédit une deuxième fois. Je viens de vérifier mon compte bancaire et j’ai donc été facturé et prélevé deux fois pour 11,50 euros à 16h46 et à 16h47 le dimanche 13 juillet 2025 pour le seul repas que j’avais commandé. J’ai envoyé 4 e-mails de réclamation et leur boîte mail indique qu’elle est pleine. Je signale la malhonnêteté et le vol de ce serveur masculin.

Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. We arrived 10 minutes before the official closing time, but the stand was already closed and they were just cleaning. When we asked, we were told they were out of currywurst – even though we should have been served according to the opening hours. Especially with a snack bar, you expect reliable opening hours. If nothing's happening 10 minutes before closing time, that should be clearly communicated – or the opening hours should be adjusted. It's a shame, because we were looking forward to a delicious currywurst.

Actually always quite good quality, casual service and the curry sauce is always good quality and tastes ok. Different sharpness levels possible. And the “aviator” of course has a suitable location.

The vegan sausage is highly recommended.

Currywurst is a solid 7.5/10, you can make it, the price is totally overpriced at €7.50.

The smallest white bratwurst at the biggest price. Even the employees agreed they were mini. It's a shame, because it used to be really great there...

Food was fine. Fries are good. Hot curry sauce isn't hot though. Not even a bit spice. Something different than the usual airport food.

Nice vegan curry wurst. Very tasty fries with a lot of free sauces. Great value for the price :) The vegan wurst (and normal sauce) are okay, we've had better but it's still yummy.

The currywurst is ok for Bavarian standards, but unfortunately the sweet potato fries were sticky.

They’re not even trying! The sausage is probably the lowest quality you can buy from a typical German supermarket, fries are frozen, the sauces are generic … I’m often at this airport, but won’t try this even if it was free. We got rid of most of our order in the thrash.

Living in Munich for 14 years and tried it for first time. Small sausage, small portion of fries for 8,90€. Total rip-off. Just get a Donner from Oliva inside. They are not going cheap on food.

Smokey Joe's made our day last Friday. After we missed our flight, we were obviously really exhausted and just wanted to enjoy a beer and something to eat. At Joe's there was a delicious beer, a curry sausage, and nice service. You can enjoy the whole thing at a small table in the sun. Important: Airport employees get a 20% discount!

Great fun eaterie right outside Munich airport. The truck provides excellent photo opportunities and is full of novelty value. The currywurst was also excellent and it was such a pleasure to eat after a flight.

Very good currywurst and crispy fries. The hot sauce could be even hotter, perhaps a super hot sauce should be introduced! The beer on tap is from Hofbräu Munich and tastes excellent.

Very particular food truck because instead of being inside a pickup truck it is inside a plane. It offers typical frankfurters and white sausages accompanied by bread, chips or other items. They also serve various drinks.

The best I had a vegan würst with hot sauce and chips and beer absolutely loved so delicious. About 2 hours later went back for one more and yes you can top it up with ketchup mustard taste amazing thanks guys good that they think of the vegetarian peoples see yous soon!

Currywurst mit Sauce und Pommes für 8,90 Euro. Dazu kommt ggf. die Flughafen-Parkgebühr von 7 Euro je Stunde. Currywurstbuden findet man auf dem Land leider nicht mehr so oft 🤷🏼‍♂️

Sehr gute Currywurst! Preislich für den Stellplatz sehr gut! Das Ambiente ist einzigartig! Sehr zu empfehlen wenn man mal am Flughafen ist!

Curry wurst wasn’t on par with others I’ve had while in Germany. Counter person had an attitude and seemed to be in a hurry to be anywhere other than behind the counter.

Ich esse hier sehr oft meine weiße Currywurst mit Pommes! (Medium scharfe Soße) Man kann auswählen welche Wurst man gerne hätte welche Soße, welche Pommes. Die Crew vom Currywurst Flieger ist sehr nett, Ketchup und co kann man sich selbst soviel bedienen wie man möchte Servicen, Holzstäbchen sind immer vorhanden hatte noch nie Probleme. Bis bald mal wieder!

Leider nicht mehr das was es einmal war. Die Wurst wurde nur halbiert, in die Semmel gelegt und Soße drüber, natürlich so kaum essbar ohne das die ganze Sauce über die Hände läuft. War jetzt zum letzten Mal da wenn nicht mal mehr die Currywurst geschnitten wird.

A real great option for having a small snack or lunch before the flight is departing or after landing at airport Munich!

Wer Currywurst mag, wird Smokey Joe's lieben. Bislang waren wir jeweils sehr zufrieden. Currywurst und Pommes schmecken sehr gut. Bei der Wurst lassen sich verschiedene Arten auswählen, so dass auch für Veganer eine passende Alternative geboten wird. Die Pommes sind kross. Die Sauce kann in verschiedenen Schärfegraden bestellt werden und hat es durchaus in sich. Eine Portion reicht locker als Mittag- oder Abendessen

Ich fand die Bedienung von heute morgen sehr gut, und das Essen schmeckte auch sehr gut

I got the curry wurst with fries. I asked for the sauce on the side & was charged extra. It came not on the side, more of a soup lol. Mediocre at best. I ate a few bites and later paid the price in the bathroom! I wouldn't recommend.

Tuve una currywurst con papas y una Coca-Cola cero. Mi comida fue preparada en minutos. La salsa de curry tenía un poco de sabor, pero nada demasiado extremo. Piensa en salsa mediana para un tejano. El personal era amable y hablaba un inglés excelente. Mi costo total de comida fue de 11 euros, perfecto para algo rápido.

Wir waren heute dort und das Essen war wirklich Grenzwerten! Kaum ein Stück Wurst, die Sauce haben wir auch gesucht, wenn überhaupt waren es 2 Esslöffel und die Pommes waren total versalzen. Normalerweise sind wir sehr gute Qualität und Portionen gewöhnt. Schade das es zur Weihnachtszeit so brutal nachgelassen hat. Für 7,80€ finde ich das schon heftig.

ミュンヘン国際空港S-Bahn駅から第二ターミナルへ向かう途中の広場にある、プロペラ機の姿が印象的な屋台でした。帰国直前の昼食としてドイツビール（500ml）とカリーヴルスト（パン付）で腹ごしらえし、満足しました。カリーヴルストのソーセージは白く太いものと、茶色の細長いものから選択できました。付け合わせにフライドポテトもあったようです。両方で10ユーロ少々の"空港価格"だったのは仕方ないところでしょうか。

Pedimos dos cervezas y el personal pidió más de lo que está escrito en el pizarrón alegando que es el mejor y para los vasos que sabemos que es común en Alemania, pagamos más. (Indicó en el tablero que estaba incluido pero solo lo notamos después de ordenar). Retirando las gafas, afirmaron que no les dimos el dinero extra y llamaron al jefe de inmediato. Normalmente no esperaríamos alrededor de media hora por 6 €. 20 cambio y que me digan que la caja registradora era correcta pero sabíamos que nos habían sumergido. Entonces, si quieres probar la comida rápida desagradable y la posibilidad de ser estafado. Este es el lugar.

Hier bekommt man auf die schnelle eine leckere Currywurst to go oder aber auch zum Verzehr vor Ort an Bistrotischen. Es gibt drei verschiedene Arten von Currywurst: Original, Berliner oder Rote. Dazu drei Schärfegrade bei der Sauce, optional mit oder ohne Pommes bzw. Semmel sowie Getränk. Als Topping gibt es Rostzwiebeln oder Chili. Ebenfalls kann man auch noch nachsalzen. Als Sauce gibt es Ketchup, Senf und Majo. Die Getränke kommen in der 0,5 PET Flasche. Auch auf Bier muss hier nicht verzichtet werden. Die Bedienung ist nett und auch sehr schnell. Hier hat sich einiges verändert in den letzten Monaten. Man kommt kaum mit dem Bezahlen hinterher, da inzwischen die Wurst bereits mehr auf Vorrat gemacht wird, was der Qualität aber nicht schadet. Die Pommes sind immer schön kross. Die Stehtische haben meist einen Aschenbecher sowie Heizstrahler im Winter, die Bistrotische haben vier Bistrostühle. Die Küche ist in einem mit Liebe umgestylten Alu-Anhänger. Hier wurden ein Sternmotor sowie Tragflächen angesetzt. Der Anhänger hat lustige Details wie Hinweis und Wandschilder.

Spontan nach der Landung eine Currywurst und ein Bier getrunken. War echt überrascht das Bier extrem flüssig und gut. Ebenso die Currywurst lecker :) Beim Heimfliegen gleich nochmal hin :D

Perfect if what you want is a break from a long flight. It might be a little expensive but it's not crazy expensive, considering where it is you pay a fair prize. Currywurst are tasty, and fries crispy. I always stop here when I'm at the airport and I'll continue doing it.

So einen netten, aufmerksamen Service erlebt man selten. Die Currywurst sehr lecker aber sehr teuer wenn man die Parkgebühr am Flughafen bedenkt.... 😉

Wir waren diese Woche..ich muß sagen, sehr sehr freundliches Personal...eine angenehme Atmosphäre..die Currywurst und Pommes sehr lecker..wir gehen wieder hin..Macht weiter! 👍

Sehr gut gelegener und stylischer Imbiss, aber: 🔹Berliner Currywurst für € 4,90 und schaut nach einer halben Portion aus. Natürlich ohne Pommes 🍟! Also wer schon mal bei Curry 36 war und Berliner Currywurst kennt, sollte hier nicht bestellen. 🔹Die Smokey Currywurst war geschmacklich gut und auch eine normale Portion, gefühlt doppelt so viel, als bei der Berliner und das zum gleichen Preis. 🔹Alles im allem, Preis / Leistung nicht gut.

Super curry sausage after a long trip back to germany

Muss zugeben, früher fand ich Smokey Joe‘s viiiieeel viel besser. Ich weiß nicht, ob es ein neuer Inhaber oder immer noch der Gründer/Erfinder ist. Die Idee v. liebevoll entworfenem "Würstelflieger" find ich Top und natürlich die Pommes Frites mit den eigens zubereiteten Saucen, klassisch, mittelscharf oder sehr scharf...

Mittelmaß. Currywurst ohne Geschmack. Soße undefinierbar. Pommes Unterklasse. Marketing okay. Bedienung gereizt. Nicht unbedingt nochmal.
