The food was so delicious I was full in a second; I would definitely have gone back. What I really liked was how quickly I got my food even though the restaurant was almost full. The staff were really friendly and always asked if the food was good and if they could clean up my trash. 👍

The atmosphere is nice and just next to terminal 2. I couldn’t find any vegan or vegetarian options so that’s a big negative otherwise quite nice. Even charging points are available on tables so a perfect place for travelers waiting

My experience at McDonald’s at Munich Airport was shocking and absolutely unacceptable. I ordered four mini chicken burgers (small) but received the large ones. When I calmly and politely pointed out that this wasn't my order, the cashier treated me rudely, disrespectfully, and condescendingly. Instead of correcting the mistake, I was completely refused service. The supervisor who was called over showed no professionalism or interest in finding a solution. On the contrary, he addressed me in a derogatory and inappropriate tone, saying, "Come on, brother," which I found disrespectful, unprofessional, and discriminatory. The behavior of both employees struck me as discriminatory overall, and I clearly felt I was being treated differently and worse than other customers. The culmination of this unacceptable behavior was that the window was simply closed for me at the drive-thru while I was still talking. Such behavior at an international airport is unacceptable, discriminatory, and shameful for the McDonald's brand. No customer service, no courtesy, no accountability. I will definitely avoid this location and strongly advise caution!

Shame on you. At Munich Airport, this narrow, gloomy fast-food joint (a basement dungeon) borders a courtyard where they're currently dismantling the Christmas market stalls (December 29, 2025). No windows facing a runway. Who planned this? You should have checked out the McDonald's at Frankfurt Airport beforehand, with its 7-meter-high glass walls facing the runway. You'd never stop staring and marveling. I actually wanted to eat lunch there at Munich Airport, but they didn't have mango curry sauce for the McWrap and no cheese sauce for the Big Rösti. Isn't Develey also based in Munich? So, hungry, I moved on. Shame on you.

i waited 40 minutes. then after complains i was informed of not setvice table, despite the app saying otherwise and accepting the order. after complains and showing payment i was invited to move from where i was sitting and moved to another area. worst service ever

Simply incompetent. I just waited a full 20 minutes (December 27, 2025) for 9-piece nuggets! Unfortunately, I had to leave without them! Otherwise, I would have missed the bus.

The cappuccino was prepared quickly. The taste was great. The temperature was lukewarm. No thank you, please, or any other reaction or word. No coffee spoon. I've known McDonald's since it was introduced in Germany. It's shameful what it's become. I only go there very rarely now. Sometimes I encounter very nice staff who, unfortunately, have to put up with the circumstances in the restaurant. It's a real shame.

Large restaurant with a relatively long wait. Our highlight: A Big Rösti without rösti, but this was quickly rectified by the staff. The plant nuggets were a bit old and tough, and we received the wrong sauce.

A very unpleasant and unprofessional experience at McDonald’s. I entered the restaurant near closing time and at 11:50 PM I placed my order using the self-service display (kiosk), clearly selecting the dine-in option to eat inside. I paid by card, everything fully regular. Once my food was ready, I took my tray, sat down, and started my meal. After barely one minute, the shift manager approached me and, in a very rude and dismissive tone, told me that they were closing and that I had to leave immediately. I calmly told him that I would finish my meal quickly and leave right after. Instead of accepting that, he came back again just a few minutes later — even more direct and unpleasant — insisting that I must leave the restaurant and eat outside in the cold. I explained to him that I had ordered through the kiosk, selected dine-in, and paid by card — there was no way for me to know that eating inside would not be allowed. I asked why the system even allowed a dine-in order if they were already planning to close and force customers out. Instead of apologizing, he said that his “workers made a mistake” and that he would “deal with them,” and that he didn’t want to argue with me and that I had to leave the premises. In the end, I was forced to go outside and finish my meal in the cold, even though I paid properly and followed all the rules. This entire situation caused me significant stress, discomfort, and a strong feeling of being disrespected as a customer. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I don't understand why this McDonald's at Munich Airport only got 3.7 stars. The restaurant is efficiently run and well-organized. Even though it was packed, my food arrived at my table about 5 minutes after I ordered it from the self-service kiosk. As soon as I finished eating, a member of staff came and cleaned and swept my table. The food was hot and tasty. I should probably deduct half a star because there's no restroom on the premises, only one about 70 meters away in the airport.

I ordered a cappuccino. It was lukewarm. I asked for a spoon. No, they only have sticks. Have you ever eaten milk foam with a stick?

This is the best and cleanest MC I've seen so far. Julia was very friendly and came to chat with us. I say, top-notch.

So, since Donald Trump is so obsessed with his xenophobia, everything that comes from America has a bad aftertaste for me. Americans are incredibly friendly, McDonald's is always delicious, and (almost all of them) really can't help their mentally ill president. It can't be that I have to wait over 20 minutes for a cheeseburger.

I ordered curly fries and a double chicken burger to go as I had to catch a train. I got 20% curly fries on top - the rest was normal fries, just so it looks right when you check it in the bag. Also it was only a single chicken burger, no double - I suspect that they are intentionally misleading customers.

Unfortunately, the young Moroccan was rude and forgot to give me my sour cream!

Munich, everything is in German, they don't care about serving you if you don't speak their language

This was my first time in Europe, and I had a short stop at Munich Airport. I visited McDonald's, which always feels so welcoming. The menu is a bit different from what I have in Taiwan. I ordered a bacon and egg roll, and I especially loved the almond chocolate that came with my coffee 😍 It wasn't too sweet and tasted great 😋. Thank you to the lady who also looked Asian for knowing I liked it and giving me another one ☝️ 😆

I felt that this was one of the cleanest and most well-maintained McDonald's I've been to in Europe! I didn't find any particular flaws. There were plenty of power outlets, which was helpful! There was a friendly Chinese female staff member!

I was here this morning. The staff are very friendly, but the most important thing is the food. My order number was 164, and I ordered a breakfast menu with 2 egg muffins, 1 regular chicken muffin, and 2 lattes. The egg muffins were okay, but the chicken muffin menu was like wood, the bread was completely burnt, and there wasn't a single chicken muffin. I would say to anyone reading the comments, please be careful with your order before leaving.

Extremely crowded, hectic McDonald's. The staff can't keep up with taking and serving orders. Prices are slightly higher than at "regular" McDonald's restaurants. Discount vouchers, which McDonald's issues 2-3 times a year, are not valid there.

According to staff, there are no restrooms in this branch! After a long search and asking staff, we were directed to the restrooms in Terminal 2. How is this possible in Germany?

Very unfriendly staff. They don't accept AHS vouchers, even though they said they could be redeemed there. At other restaurants, like the Airbräu, it worked fine.

Disgusting from top to bottom. It was later and the only option but still should not have chosen it. McDonald’s should rescind their franchise license that’s how bad it is here. We arrived from a 14-hour flight and wanted two coffees to go. We ordered them at the ordering terminal as planned. After 20 minutes, there was no coffee in sight. When we asked for it, we were given cold coffee (black – we ordered it with milk and sugar) in a cup. When we asked for it in our ordered to-go cups, the employee refilled the cold coffee, but there was still no trace of milk and sugar. DISAPPOINTING

The food and drinks are as good as usual. The table service is poor. (The cappuccino didn't come with the requested sugar, spoon, or saucer.) Restrooms are only available at the airport, not at McDonald's. Unfortunately, there's no sign of them.

Old McDonald should try harder now that many cuisines are available all around.

I ordered a small coffee via the app and wanted to tell the employee straight away to please only fill it half full. I spoke to him politely three times but was ignored. It wasn't until the third time that he turned around in annoyance and rudely told me to wait - while at the same time he was chatting with a colleague about irrelevant things. Despite my wishes, he filled the coffee and rudely told me that the coffee was ready. He claimed he was making a new one - but brought back the same one. I left it on the table. This kind of behavior is disrespectful and completely inappropriate in customer service.

We always drink our cappuccino at McCafè before we fly off on vacation. The staff at the coffee counter are very friendly.

Due to a flight delay, we received meal vouchers from the airline. The kids wanted to go to McDonald's, so I first asked the cashier if they accepted the vouchers. After she said yes, I went to the order screen with the kids and gave them our order. Back at the checkout, I wanted to pay with the vouchers, but the store manager came over and told us—in a loud and unfriendly tone—"No, we don't accept them. Who knows if the vouchers are real?" It was a very unpleasant situation for us to be treated so rudely in front of everyone.

We wanted to have our order delivered to our table. When nothing arrived after 25 minutes, I decided to inquire, but it turned out that the order had somehow been lost (we had already paid around €50). After a long discussion, an employee finally agreed to complete the order. Absolutely outrageous—not recommended!

After my flight with my client, Alex, I made a quick detour with us. I think it's perfect; you can sit outside and eat as usual, the location is perfect, and the roof is also perfect. Everything's great.

This McDonald's has no restrooms. Food preparation takes an extremely long time. Many employees don't speak German at all.

The order was brought to the table and took 15 minutes, even though it was quiet. Then, first, the cream on the latte was missing. A MC Toastie was missing. Sweetener wasn't added. And the breakfast items were cold, too. The only positives: It was clean, and the staff was friendly and refilled the items.

They can't count to 6. I ordered and paid for 6 cheeseburgers and got only 5.
