The food was delicious and the meat was very tender. The service was quick and friendly. Ordering via the QR code was very easy. This restaurant is highly recommended, especially since they have patio heaters in place during the winter.

Smoke BBQ is simply a place of pure comfort and great food. The photos already tell the story: big trays filled with freshly baked sides, bubbling hot and perfectly golden on top. The meat was juicy and tender, exactly what you hope for when you go out for proper BBQ. Together with the classic sides like cornbread, green beans, sweet potato and that creamy corn dish, it all comes together as a plate that just makes you happy. And then there’s the atmosphere. The large hall with long wooden tables, candles, lots of people, chatter everywhere and a relaxed, lively vibe really gives you that true BBQ event feeling. You can feel how much passion goes into this place. For me, Smoke BBQ is one of the few spots in Düsseldorf where the food and the atmosphere just click perfectly. A clear recommendation.

We waited more than 35 minutes for the food and it was rather cold as the guy was looking for the right table. It is just very cold inside, they could insulate it better. The food taste is very good.

That's okay. So far, so good. But who wants to eat at 4°C? For me, eating is about enjoyment, well-being, and relaxation. And quite honestly? I find it utterly disrespectful to put a guest in a damp, cold environment where the food gets almost as cold as the surroundings in no time. Just take your backside, insulate it, heat it up, and the problem would be solved. But then you'd actually have to be a host.

Smoke BBQ in Düsseldorf is a really cool BBQ spot with seriously amazing food. Everything can be ordered directly from your phone, and the dishes are brought right to your table, which makes the whole experience super smooth. You can also pay via your phone, including Apple Pay, which gives the place a very modern, fully contactless feel. The food itself is excellent and the prices are very competitive compared to other BBQ restaurants. Quality and taste are absolutely on point. I’m giving 4 stars mainly because, as far as I know, the entire seating area is outside. There is a roof, but during colder or rainy seasons it’s probably not the most cozy environment (happy to be corrected if this has changed). Another downside is the location: the restaurant is in an industrial area and not far from the airport, which means parking can be a real challenge. It seems like many people leave their cars there when flying out, so spots fill up quickly. Overall, amazing food, great concept, modern ordering and payment system, but a few environmental drawbacks keep it from being a perfect 5 stars. Still absolutely worth a visit.

A fantastic culinary experience! Delicious food and truly friendly and helpful staff. Since it's an open-air venue, it's a bit chilly despite the heaters, and parking is somewhat difficult, but the excellent food and pleasant atmosphere more than compensate for the cold and parking situation.

Great BBQ spot for anyone who loves smoked meat. They have a large smoker with a diverse selection of meats. Simple place with outdoor benches, quick service, nothing fancy just good smoked meat. About 15 minutes from the airport, and definitely worth a visit.

Rustic ambiance and incredibly tender ribs. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. What I also appreciate is that the menu isn't huge, but it's excellent. The ribs were a delight, and the prices are reasonable. The coleslaw wasn't quite to my taste, but it was still edible. If you're looking for really good BBQ, this is the place to go.

I ordered full rack ribs and was very satisfied. The quality is excellent, and the meat falls tenderly off the bone. Unfortunately, brisket is only available from 6 pm onwards. Therefore, I will definitely come back again.

The burgers and ribs arrived lukewarm. The taste was okay, but definitely not 5 stars. The ordering process was cumbersome, forcing you to order via QR code and website. At the end of the order process, you have to pay immediately, and they try to add a tip right away. I find it outrageous to demand a tip when no service has been provided. The QR code ordering is pointless since there were three people standing around doing nothing. Delivery of the order took quite a long time.

The burger was tasty. The fries were too. The portion was okay, but a bit small. Service was quick and friendly. The dining area is unheated and only moderately cozy. The restroom was appalling. Even a carnival toilet is cleaner. The floor was covered in paper towels, and it smelled awful. When I go out to eat and pay regular restaurant prices, I don't expect porta-potty standards.

Summary: It was okay overall, but unfortunately cold. We stopped in shortly after opening today. The ambiance is appealing, and since the sun came out, the temperature was pleasant. We started by ordering via the QR code. I had some trouble with this, but it was probably due to my browser (no fault of the owner). The first confusion arose when paying: the "10% tip" option was selected by default, even though we hadn't received any service up to that point. Our food arrived on a single tray and was cold. I understand that Slow Food needs to prepare things in advance, but the food still needs to be kept warm, or at least reheated. We left the coleslaw because it tasted strongly of vinegar. Overall, the visit left us disappointed. With proper service and hot food, it would be a very good place.

This was my third visit to Smoke BBQ, and I've been thoroughly satisfied every time. The ribs are simply amazing—super tender, juicy, and with that authentic smoky flavor you hardly ever find anywhere else. You can tell they put their heart and soul into it, using a real smoker. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, and the service is friendly and fast. The price is absolutely right for me. If you're looking for honest BBQ, this is definitely the place to go. I'll definitely be back!

The food was okay, but the selection was very limited. It was also cold, and we were told that the ceiling heaters weren't connected to the generator (why not just connect them then?). After a one-hour wait, we finally got our food. The burger was very good, but I think they should also offer regular burgers. There was also a long wait for additional drinks. The location was anything but nice and cozy. The real kicker, though, was turning on the heaters after all the customers had left so the staff could be nice and warm while cleaning...🫡

High Expectations - Huge Fall Unfortunately, the food was served cold for 8 people! (spare ribs and topped fries). The spare ribs were very dry, and the portions were unfortunately much too small. The price-performance ratio isn't quite right here. While the outdoor ambiance can be very nice in the summer, it's unfortunately far too unpleasant in the fall/winter.

We tried this grill because of the many positive reviews, but were unfortunately disappointed. We immediately realized that the good reviews probably stem from the fact that you get a free cookie for a 5-star review. The food itself was disappointing: The dishes were cold, the spare ribs were dry, and there was charcoal sticking to the meat. Furthermore, the portions were very small for the price. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired – our cutlery was dirty. The ambiance can be quite nice in the summer – but unfortunately, it was very cold in early October. The heaters were unfortunately not plugged in. All in all, we unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant.

As a barbecue club, we have higher expectations of what's on offer! SORRY....

We ordered the pulled beef, pulled pork, and Texas link, the only meats available when we arrived at 16:00. Both the pork and beef were lukewarm and lacked any smoke flavor. The texture was average, neither dry nor moist, and overall the meat tasted flat. The fries were served cold, clearly left sitting out, and the chili had a grainy consistency with bagged cheese on top. For a place called Smoke BBQ I expected the meats to be the highlight and for the smoking process to shine through. The price was fair, but I left feeling disappointed.
