Geniale Spareribs und super Ambiente. Wir waren schon ein paar mal hier. Das Smoke Team ist super freundlich und man hat ein richtiges „Texas-Roadstop“ feeling. Teilweise begleitet von live-Musik

Gutes Ambiente. Rippchen waren gut. Chicken Wings etwas trocken. Die Tatertots waren sehr gut! Gut zum Abendessen. Wir kommen wieder.

Das Fleisch war unglaublich zart, saftig und perfekt auf den Punkt gegart. Die Würzung war genau richtig – intensiv, aber nicht zu dominant. Man schmeckt die Qualität und die Leidenschaft fürs Grillen bei jedem Bissen. Absolut empfehlenswert für alle Fleischliebhaber!

We visited Smoke BBQ this evening. The location is outside of Düsseldorf – in an industrial area near the airport. Although there is no on-site parking, that's precisely what makes the place interesting. Street parking is free. The restaurant has an industrial outdoor style, which could be a challenge on cooler days. There are heaters, but they're a bit limited for the size of the terrace. The food selection isn't extensive, but it's sufficient – ​​you come here with one clear goal: to eat. You can't order alcoholic drinks – not even beer! They only serve non-alcoholic drinks. The staff is friendly, and the food was served very quickly – although it was only lukewarm. I didn't leave the restaurant particularly impressed. The brisket tasted okay, but nothing special. Given the many positive reviews, I honestly expected more. I think the place has potential – perhaps it just needs some time for the concepts to develop further and mature.

High expectation - not met As big BBQ fans and connoisseurs, we were unfortunately disappointed. We were there on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. The first disappointment... There is only non-alcoholic beer. But now to the essentials. We have brisket, ribs, beef fries and tater tots with 2 alternative drinks for €86!!! ordered. The tater tots were just great. Really delicious. The beef fries, like the brisket and ribs, were cold. Full of anticipation, we ordered 3 portions of the brisket. The brisket, the supreme discipline of Texas BBQ. We have eaten at Franklin's BBQ in Austin Texas several times and other well-known restaurants and know our way around brisket. What we were served has nothing to do with Texas brisket. - cold - dry! So dry it was difficult to chew - taste OK but the classic salt pepper taste is not present. - you won't be asked whether you want "lean" or "fatty". The demand for burnt ends could not be met either. If the service staff hadn't already been overwhelmed by the 30 or so guests, we would have sent the food back. Maybe we were just unlucky with the brisket, but warming up and serving brisket from the day before is an absolute disgrace at that price. The ribs were also cold when they arrived at the table. Very weak in taste, considering it is advertised so heavily. Meat and doneness were good. Unfortunately there is no smoke taste. It could also have been prepared in the oven. The presentation itself is nice, but there is room for improvement. Looks a bit like what was intended but not achieved. The guest is actually not expected to have to walk to the toilets. This has little to do with a professional restaurant. I would recommend that pitmasters take a 3 week vacation in Texas and be inspired by the original Texas BBQ.

Where all the good comments and 5 star ratings come from is really a mystery to me. We drove for over an hour and were unfortunately totally disappointed afterwards. We ordered the brisket, the pulled beef fries, and the ribs. The brisket was the biggest disappointment because it was completely dry and, like everything else, lukewarm to cold. The ribs completely lacked the smoke flavor and the BBQ sauce. Understandably, the prices are not cheap, so I expect my food to be warm. The location itself is really cool but also depends on the weather, not really recommended on cold days. And be careful, cash payments are no longer possible, and for all men, they only have non-alcoholic beer.

Delicious BBQ in a cozy atmosphere

We discovered Smoke BBQ by chance and what can I say?! Absolute madness. The food, the ambience and the service were simply great. The smoker was smoking in the background and the delicious smell of smoke wafted around our noses. We had a real feel of American BBQ.

Food was great. The ribs were tender and smoky. The side dishes were also good and flavorful. For the price, it's difficult to eat lunch there during the week, but unfortunately there are hardly any alternatives to American BBQ that are as good as here.

Highly recommended. We had a delicious meal here for a fair price. The lunch deals are certainly interesting. We had a hamburger with pulled beef and ribs. My husband is always critical, but he is also a big fan!

What can I say? If you want to devour a few ribs or other high-quality meat, you've come to the right place! Saucy, animalistic desires and grinding are the order of the day here! Feel free to yaw a little too. After eating these divine ribs, you only asked yourself two questions. 1. When are we coming back? 2. How the HELL can you be vegan and shove a steak or something similar into your carcass from a 3D printer??????? Let alone all the other fake meat products with toxic ingredients….? Previously 5/5 stars. Maximum average since the renovation. Ribs more often greasy (so always a coin toss) and no pork belly bites for 2 years. When these were still on the menu, the quality of all meat products was better. With the expansion the butcher apparently changed. Too bad...

I saw the smoke rising from afar and was looking forward to the food. Ordering at the table via cell phone flap was very good. We didn't have to wait long... but then: A plate with two types of meat and two side dishes for 26 euros and what came was a children's plate. For 26 euros we expected more. That was definitely not enough for this price. But what was most annoying was that the food wasn't even lukewarm, the beans were hot, but the meat was almost cold. In terms of taste, it was rather lukewarm, there was simply a lack of flavor and the pulled pork had more of a consistency like Mexican refried beans than pulled pork. We were in the USA for a long time and ate a lot of BBQ there, but here in Düsseldorf it's a world away from that. It's a shame actually, everything sounded very good before. If I go there again…probably not.

Ribs, chicken wings dry and hard, absolutely inedible. The meat could only have been ready for hours. The brisket was also very dry and unspectacular. In addition, there is no alcohol, which shouldn't be missing when grilling. The service was completely overwhelmed. You should train people beforehand.

The barbecue ribs were simply sensational! The meat was tender and practically fell off the bone. The marinade had the perfect balance of sweet, smoky and spicy - you could really taste that they were marinated for a long time and cooked slowly. Particularly great: the caramelized crust on the outside, which gave it an extra kick.

Overall food is tasty and well done (as an experienced intermediate backyard griller there is always headroom; that‘s why one star is lacking, but that‘s more personal Taste) You can order and pay via smartphone. Delivery is quick. After serving there was no service. Of course, you can get, if you Go to the Counter or shout for somebody. Venue could be a bit more cosy. I recommend going there, if you like good BBQ. Won‘t find that kind in the city centre.

The brisket was top notch and very much worth the trip; we very much liked the spare ribs, but without the excessive sauce, they were a bit on the dry side. As a native Texan, never put beans in the chili! My girlfriend did enjoy the chili though, and the pulled pork and sausage were okay, but nothing to write home about. The beans leaned also more towards Boston baked beans rather than more appropriate pinto beans, but I'm being too picky for an otherwise great ambiance and super brisket, in Germany of all places.

Smoke Barbecue in Düsseldorf is an absolute super tip for everyone who loves American BBQ! The meat is incredibly tender, juicy and full of smoky aroma - you can tell that a lot of love and skill is being worked here. The ribs are particularly recommended – buttery soft and perfectly seasoned. The side dishes Tater Tots or Coleslaw are also really tasty and round the whole thing off perfectly. The atmosphere is relaxed, rustic and fits perfectly with the BBQ charm. If you like honest, handmade BBQ, you should definitely try smoke barbecue - here you get taste at the highest level. I'll definitely be back!

It's just brilliant, as if you were grilling at friends' houses, except that the food was excellent

Sensational! Better than Texas! The ribs (full rack!) were super tender and juicy and tasted nice and smoky. The fries were crispy and well salted (thank god!). Cole slaw crunchy and fresh. And the service was very friendly. There is little going on on Thursday, but reservations are recommended at the weekend. ;-)

We were there last night with the family to have dinner… Ordering via cell phone works very well, there is only a digital menu. Rather unsuitable for older people. Nothing works without a smartphone. Unfortunately, in our opinion, the food was not what many reviews here describe. The reason for the numerous glowing reviews may be because you get a dessert for free if you show a positive review of the waitress - see photo. In a certain form bribery 🤔... But now to the food and drink: We had a “platter” with five types of meat and two side dishes: The chicken wings were rather mildly seasoned, but our children were bothered by the noticeable bits of feathers sticking out of the crispy skin. The brisket was really delicious and delicious! Tender, as it should be, wonderfully juicy and therefore very tasty. A dream. Then we had spare ribs, but these were more average. It lacked a spicy note, such as that created by a fine American marinade. The ribs, similar to the chicken wings, tasted rather “mew” and were too cold. Then we had a bowl of fiery, spicy minced meat. The taste was very good, perhaps a bit overpowered by the jalapeños. Now, back to a treat: the pulled pork! Really very tasty, a fine meaty taste, tender and melting in your mouth. As a side dish, the American coleslaw was really good, but the fries were a bit too salty. As drinks, soft drinks are presented by a Hamburg chain with the two heads. There's actually nothing to complain about. Anyone expecting beer and other alcoholic beverages is more likely to come away empty-handed. What is our conclusion? Our expectations were definitely not met, only the moderate price meant that we were not completely disappointed. Repetition factor? Not the case for us, in our opinion there are better roadhouses or American diners in the area around Düsseldorf Essen or Mülheim. A small note at the end: A friend of mine has already attended a barbecue event, they must be great! 😉
