Small Treats Cafe & Bistro in Leipzig

A small but very enjoyable selection of dishes. The Udo curry tastes excellent, the homemade kimchi is very tasty and fresh, the burger and potatoes are great... and I haven't tried the rest yet. I'll try them later! Unfortunately, I don't manage to make it there very often. The cake selection is also delicious and highly recommended (you can also order takeaway), the people there are very friendly and relaxed, and the little shop is very cozy. I always enjoy going there!

Everything great! We were there with a group for a birthday and were warmly welcomed and served, even two special requests were no problem. The food is extremely tasty and fairly priced. The desserts are also particularly recommended, e.g. Tarte au Citron or Creme Brulée. What I particularly liked is that there was something for all palates and generations: from steak for grandpa, to Asian noodle variations, various bowls and burger variations, including vegan ones for my niece. The atmosphere was pleasant and the music was unobtrusive. Definitely recommended.

You can eat well here in this cute little corner. The selection is not very large, but still varied... The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is also super nice…

The great buffet for Sunday brunch completely convinced us on our first visit to the Kleine Genuss - ditto attentive service.

We went here for a breakfast buffet on a weekend. There was little choice and often "empty" plates. Not appropriate for the price asked. But taste OK. I'll come back sometime to try the burger, it looks delicious.

A small, sweet restaurant that makes you feel good. The map behaves clearly, but adequately enough. Fresh cooking is done here. The burgers are a dream, absolutely recommended. Upon request, extra filled pancakes were made in the kitchen. They were amazing, absolutely delicious. Thank you again for that.

Nice little restaurant, super delicious food...but: from the chef?! Who just wanted to go out for a smoke, had the door held open without a word... the waitress?! Evil looks were “received” without words, so I had to ask, embarrassed, whether it was open at all. Card put down with a forced "smile", drink order was accepted without a word... no questions, no recommendations. Plates were brought without a word and cleared away again and every guest who entered was greeted with suspicious looks... after waiting for 30 minutes, with empty glasses and the desire for a dessert, without anyone making an effort to ask if we would still like something, the visit was cut short... very strange 🙈 really a shame, but the kitchen is trying incredibly hard to enchant the palate

I looked into the cafe and, to be honest, I didn’t expect it to surprise me so pleasantly! Cozy interior, soft light, and the same atmosphere where you want to stay longer. The staff is just fire: smiling, attentive, but without intrusiveness.

What a lovely Sunday brunch! I'm annoyed that I've lived in Leipzig for a year and just now discovered it! In addition to all the usual continental breakfast offerings, they had very special baked goods (scones, pancakes, even something very like a crumpet) and unique salads, including a very good kimchi and a wonderful coleslaw. The atmosphere was very relaxed despite the small space--I think most people who were there when we arrived were still there when we left! The staff is very friendly and the location is good for a nice stroll through Clara Zetkin Park afterwards, which I also recommend if you eat a little too much at breakfast :)

There were three of us for brunch, 2 adults and 1 child. Everything fit perfectly. The selection is very diverse, classic and creative. Everything is fresh and extremely tasty. The child was offered a reduced price without asking because the attentive waitress noticed that our child ate rather small portions. I also find it very pleasant that people are still being treated here. Thank you for the very nice stay.

We went for brunch today. Nice atmosphere and a great buffet. Lots of vegan/vegetarian things, lots of very tasty salads that are all completely different. Not like so often that everything feels like a uniformity and just looks different. Scrambled eggs are fantastic, finally someone who knows how to do it best...great! Happy to come back!!

We had the 5-course menu which is offered once a month. We were thrilled, very good quality and great compilation. We'll definitely be back.

Delicious brunch with lots of fresh salads and dips. Delicious scrambled eggs and French toast. A welcome glass of Prosecco. Service very quick and friendly. It refills very quickly. The only thing missing was the salmon, then it would be perfect...

The location itself is nicely done and the staff is super friendly. We were there for breakfast and had the buffet. The selection was okay and it was filled up relatively quickly, but the location directly in front of the toilet is a bit awkward. The table directly in front of the kitchen isn't really appealing either. Are you doing yourself a favor with this one? However, the rolls were terrible. On the one hand there were no "light" rolls and on the other hand the multigrain rolls were absolutely rock hard, there was no chance of using the knife to cut them open. I don't like brown bread, but this was the lesser evil in the end. Breakfast depends on the rolls. Too bad. You can do it, but you don't necessarily have to.

Whether you’re visiting Leipzig or living here, you must give this place a try. I had the bison burger paired with fresh apple juice, and both were incredibly tasty. Everything is handmade, and the freshness is evident. They also offer excellent vegan options, which my girlfriend really enjoyed. The service was fast, and the staff were super friendly. Plus, the restaurant is conveniently located near the main city park, Klara Zetkin Park. We love it and will definitely be back!

The food over the last few years has been great! What I found very sad and disappointing: a table for 6 people that I had booked for about 1.5 months was canceled 1/2 hour before arrival on the agreed day. Reason: closed society (okay, we were allowed to sit in the closed society, but who does that?) The restaurant service had obviously forgotten about us. Something like this simply shouldn't happen.

Small but tasty. Were here for brunch. Service was friendly and attentive. The buffet was manageable, but there was almost everything you could need.

Actually a delicious and nice shop. But it is an absolute no-go if an order that was agreed 2 hours in advance for 8:30 p.m. is silently canceled at 8:20 p.m. It was Friday evening, but we knew that when we confirmed the order. If you can't rely on a delivery, then you can leave it alone. A second star because the brunch has always been nice. It's a shame.

Tried breakfast buffet on Sunday. Nice atmosphere, cozy and charmingly furnished. Delicious food, sufficient selection and sometimes something different that ends up on the plate (tasty salads). The staff was very friendly. Gladly again, also to try out the ice cream (they offer ice cream from the ice distillery).

If you're tired of "off-the-shelf burgers" like those at Hans im Glück / Peter Pane, you'll definitely be happy here. The menu is small, but completely sufficient and in my opinion everyone will find something here at lunch/dinner time. Both vegan and vegetarian dishes are offered. The menu also changes depending on the season. I can highly recommend it. :)

We visited my aunt in December. She recommended this place to us. We were there for Sunday brunch. Really great. A visit is worth it.

The food was super tasty and completely different to what you would expect from brunch. The selection was large and varied. You can tell that the owner/chef is passionate about cooking and he likes to take the time to explain the buffet. The brunch buffet is in a small, narrow aisle that quickly fills up. You need patience here. The tables outside are cramped and small; there is no space for many plates. Overall, I think a more comfortable setting would be more beneficial for brunch.

Table reserved for brunch and then if it rains you will only be offered a table outside. It's sad when you drive an extra 50km for that!

I really like it! And the food was amazing, we had pasta and a very tasty quiche. The selection of cakes was a bit poor, but maybe that was because we were there later. Definitely coming back!

I went there and bought some New York Rolls. The price for one was already high. They were relatively small and unfortunately tasted very bad. They weren't crispy but very limp. The one with the nut nougat filling even tasted really sour, as if it were already bad. I had to throw them away.

Wonderful feel-good place! I definitely recommend it. Although there isn't much interior space, it hasn't been packed full, so there's a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is friendly and you feel welcome. We were there for brunch on Saturday, the buffet was exciting, varied and fresh. It's clear that some thought has been put into this and it feels as if your best friend, who loves to cook a lot, has invited you home. You can tell that everything is homemade, in the best possible way. We enjoyed spending time here from opening until almost the end of brunch time. Gladly again when we are in Leipzig. And then I'm also excited about everything else there is to feast on here.

The first place in Leipzig to serve me a worthwhile burger. It hit that sweet spot right between wholesome home-cooked and expert culinary flare. A relaxed atmosphere in the Café was the cherry on top. I can only recommend, and hope they keep the chef!

The best place for a quiet afternoon. No stress, delicious food, the best cake in town and always friendly waiters. Probably my favorite place in all of Leipzig.

Top catering! As part of a company event, we decided on the “Little Treat” and received top-notch catering! Everything was just right for us here! The initial telephone contact was great, followed by a personal conversation in the store - of course we also had drinks on the house - and the actual catering exceeded our high expectations! There are real craftsmen here with an absolutely fair and more than reasonable price structure! We will definitely come back to you!

The service is very nice, absolute people from the heart. I tried New York Rolls and was unfortunately disappointed. The cream tasted too much like buttercream and had no real flavor. A pity. I really hoped for more for a hefty price of €6. Otherwise it is kept very small, very narrow.

Everything the little treat offers tastes good too. Even my friend, who has various allergies, can eat anything there. You can even order something to satisfy your hunger and even the desserts are incredibly tasty :) The potato wedges and the Beyond Meat Burger are my favorites :) The prices are completely justified for the quality (since everything is made in-house) and is appropriate given the great service. Long story short: dear team of the little treat, stay as you are and we are incredibly happy that you are here and your food is great :) <3

Today I had my birthday brunch at the Kleine Genuss restaurant. It was our first time there and it felt like we had been there 100 times. Very very warm and friendly. Top service! We would like to come again. That's a promise 🤗😉

Die Croissants sind klasse! Mir wurde extra ein Schoko-Croissant gefüllt, obwohl sie alle waren. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür (: Das Lokal ist allerdings recht klein und wird schnell voll. Verständlich, bei den tollen Leckereien!

Das Café hat eine ansprechende Atmosphäre und ein schönes Ambiente. Leider war die Verkäuferin eher unhöflich. Die Croissants entsprachen nicht meinen Erwartungen - sie schmeckten nicht wirklich lecker und wirkten etwas alt, abgesehen von der Füllung und dazu viel zu teuer. Zudem war die gewünschte Geschmacksrichtung leider nicht verfügbar. Schade

Waren hier zur Weihnachtsfeier mit unserem Kollegium und es war einfach wundervoll. Ich war so begeistert, dass es ein richtiges veganes Weihnachtsessen als Option gab. Das hat mich so glücklich gemacht. Und noch dazu hat es toll geschmeckt.

Nettes kleines Restaurant in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Das Essen war gut jedoch der Preis zu hoch. Diese Extravaganz, die die Preise rechtfertigen hat gefehlt.

Ein super süßes, kleines Café, an dem wir heute zufällig vorbei gelaufen sind und dann beschlossen haben, es auszuprobieren. Das Essen war sooooo lecker, ich hatte Kürbisrisotto und der Koch kam extra zum Tisch, um zu fragen ob es denn auch schmeckt oder Kritik gibt. Mit viel Liebe zubereitet, sogar Kürbisöl war dazu. Der Service ist auch sehr aufmerksam und nett! Also vorbei schauen lohnt sich auf jeden Fall und wir kommen gern wieder!

Sehr leckere kleine Karte, die der Koch versteht, zuzubereiten.

Standen schon ein paar Minuten vorher dort und wurden selbstständig von einem Mitarbeiter herein gebeten. Über den gesamten Aufenthalt waren die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Wir wurden ein paar mal gefragt, ob alles bestens sei. Bestellt hatten wir ein Peanut Croissant, Pistazie Croissant, Latte Macchiatto (mit Hasenuss flavour) und einen kleinen Kaffee. Geschmacklich war alles einwandfrei. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr entspannt + es läuft passende ruhige Musik dazu. Auf jeden fall ein sehr empfehlenswerter kleiner Laden für jeden der ein schönes Frühstück genießen will. Nur der Klingenton des Telefons könnte einen Ticken ruhiger sein. Kann aber auch daran liegen das die Mitarbeiter in der Küche hören müssen, wenn jemand anruft.

Ich habe einen Burger gegessen, mit Bisonfleisch, der war super lecker. Was mich aber am meisten überrascht hat war, das es keine Pommes dazu gab, sondern selbstgemachte Kartoffelecken.

Toller Brunch, nettes Team Einziger Wunsch: kriegt Ihr baulich etwas Schalldämpfung hin?

Hier gibt es den kleinsten und damit eventuell auch teuersten Flat White von Leipzig. 3,80€ Grundpreis plus 50ct Aufpreis(was ich sowieso immer fragwürdig finde, wie pervers billig ist denn eure normale Milch?) für Haferdrink bei ca. 80ml Größe. Grundsätzlich sollte ein Flat White die Größe eines Cappuccino haben, also bitte nochmals überdenken. Die Croissants haben eine besondere Form und sind verschieden gefüllt, aber ihren Preis definitiv nicht wert (zu wenig Füllung, zu klein, zu trocken). Die Bedienung war, für einen Sonntag verständlich, sehr beschäftigt und ist nicht Schuld an der Bewertung.

Ein kleines nettes Cafe mit Wohlfühlambiente wie man es für ein Lokal dieser Art erwartet. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient und haben die leckeren Supreme Croissants probiert, die empfehlenswert sind.

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, leckere Speisen und Gerichte und sehr sympathisches Personal. Sehr gerne wieder.

Sehr nette Location mit Möglichkeit zum draußen sitzen. Die Burger sind exzellent, sowohl mit Fleisch als auch in der Beyond meat Variante. Der Cheesecake war super lecker und der Service sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem eine glatte Empfehlung.

One of the most delicious burgers that I had in Leipzig. While I'm not usually fan of bacon, this burger was so good that it changed my mind. Service and staff were also very friendly and nice.

Immer wieder gern zum Verweilen da.

Ich war wegen eines Gerichtes über togoodtogo in der Leckerei und bin sehr zufrieden. Sehr freundlicher Mitarbeiter ohne Schnurrbart, sehr leckeres Essen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Es ist erstaunlich was man aus so einem kleinen Restaurant machen kann. Wir waren zum Brunch dort und das Angebot war in der Auswahl und in der Menge reichlich. Weiter so.

Auf Empfehlung einer Freundin bin ich auf die kleine Leckerei aufmerksam geworden und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Das Lunch Angebot ist preis-leistungs-technisch wirklich super, genauso, wie der Kuchen. Auch der Sonntagsbrunch ist sehr zu empfehlen! Doch nicht nur das köstliche Essen macht die kleine Leckerei zu etwas besonderem, sondern auch das freundliche Personal und das gemütliche Ambiente. 😊

Ich habe damals die Kleine Leckerei bei Mein Lokal Dein Lokal gesehen und musste dieses nette Lokal dann auch mal selbst austesten. Ob es eine Lieferung war oder ein Mittagessen mit meiner Freundin, ein Glas Wein am Abend. Immer war ich überrascht von tollen und sehr netten Servicekräften. Auch hatte ich schon das Glück vom Chef selbst bedient zu werden und er ist genauso sympathisch und fachkundig, wie ich es in der Sendung erlebt habe. Auch die Qualität des Essens ist super, die Karte ist zeitgemäß und kompakt. Ein absolute Empfehlung!
