Slutland u Marissę in Northeim

Anyone who gives a negative review here has no idea about hospitality, cuisine or the Italian way of life! However, if you are looking for Dolce Vita in the middle of Northeim, you have come to the right place! Hospitality, high quality food and perfect wine selection... Everything is just right here! We have found our favorite Italian restaurant! Five stars is actually not enough 🤩

Excellent experience! On the way from Hamburg to Göttingen, hunger kicked in and we spontaneously stopped at the "Aperetivo" in Northeim, a small, cozy restaurant with 30 seats, which was full except for two seats. We received a friendly welcome and were able to place our order in a reasonable amount of time. The drinks arrived quite quickly, starters and main courses were a little delayed, which was tolerable due to the friendly one-man ensemble that served both the counter and the tables quickly but not hectically. We ordered the tapas platter and the classic bruscetta as openers. Instead of the latter, thankfully the "various bruscetta variants" were brought, which we apologized for and wanted to swap immediately, but they looked so good that we didn't give them away. Not only did the little delicacies of tomatoes, tuna, tomato/mozzarella and aubergine/zucchini taste excellent, we were also... We also kindly acknowledged the ordering error with the price of the classic bruscetta. The tapas plate was also impressive with variations of prawns that harmonized perfectly with the slight spiciness of the rocket and the tart acidity of lemon, as well as rosemary potatoes in a spicy sauce and black olives with dried tomatoes marinated in oil. Delicious! Afterwards we were delighted with two pizzas that were excellently crispy and airy and soft on the inside (tuna and beef ham/rocket), which were easy to cut (not "sawed") and had well-balanced toppings. Although we were actually almost full from the starters and almost bursting after the pizzas, the sweet palate demanded that we try our favorite Italian dessert. To my regret, except for one last portion, completely sold out. Luckily for me, my companion was unable to eat a single crumb. The tiramisu was exactly what I wanted: instead of biscuits dripping with espresso and oozing cream, as is unfortunately often served, there were lightly soaked biscuits that remained in their shape, covered in creamy egg mascarpone and a touch of amaretto flavor and black cocoa powder. Perfect! Overall, a very successful end to our weekend trip with excellent, visually appetizing cuisine, moderate prices and a friendly and considerate innkeeper. Thank you very much, it's nice that you exist. We will definitely come back again!

It was just fantastic. I really have to say it was worth it. It was a strange feeling at first to go out to eat below the hospital, but the view, the ambience, the friendly service and, last but not least, the excellent food dispelled any doubts. We'll definitely be back.

Yay - finally open again!! We have been living in Schleswig-Holstein for a year. Soon we will be returning to a “home vacation” and a visit to our former favorite restaurant in Northeim is now at the top of our wish list. We look forward to the super delicious food! See you soon - we can't wait...
