An authentic little place, with reasonably priced food and drink, lovely and very friendly hosts. The food was plentiful and tasty, worth a visit.

Beautiful, individual Italian restaurant in Berlin Mitte with excellent food, friendly service and a very good selection. That's really rare with such a large selection. Depending on your space, you can also look into the kitchen, where everything is freshly prepared. Clear recommendation. Sisal

We had a pleasant meal but when paying separately they kept on re-adding meals which we’d already paid for. They were very aggressive and it made for a very unpleasant experience.

I ate yesterday at Sisal, which had a friendly welcome, and even though we arrived late, they served us, which is a very good point. The pasta was good, but I have never tasted such a bad tiramisu in my life; I wondered if it was old or just disgusting. When we got to the checkout, we found ourselves with three different prices: one from the menu, one from the display board, and one from the register, so it was quite special.

Perfect. Truffle pizza was delicious, as was the salad beforehand. Friendly, discreet service. Intimate Italian restaurant, nice seating outside. P/L is correct.

Great food and service, would be a local ‘go to’ if we lived here. Definitely worth a visit and whilst we are only in Berlin for a few more days, we will look to come again.

As someone who has worked there, I'm providing you an insider report. It's a place where they check if there's food by dipping their finger in it. The pasta, which should be cooked upon ordering, is actually prepared much earlier and kept waiting. Boiled pasta is left to cool on a dirty countertop, and they prepare a bulk amount like this. We were explicitly instructed not to show this process to customers. They clean everything with a single cloth, including the countertop, cabinets, their hands, and the cutting board. Vegetarian or vegan meals are not prepared separately with dedicated utensils or countertops. Many more things. "Instead of changing the metal containers holding the food every evening, they simply clean the lids and wipe everything with the same cloth. The containers themselves are not properly cleaned or replaced. Never. There's no problem with putting food back on the plates if it falls on the floor in this establishment. I'm not sure if all gastronomy shops are like this, but after witnessing these practices, I don't intend to eat out again. The owner, who fires workers after a short period of employing them under harsh conditions, is an appalling person. He keeps yelling at his employees over trivial matters. That’s why there only one Afgan refugee worker there and it’s not a choice for him to work there, it’s a sad necessity. It's very sad to see these people living within a civilized society. It's worth mentioning that the owner can't even speak his mother tongue (Turkish). He walks around pretending to be "Italian" by using a few Italian words like "bella," in order to comply with the concept of "Italian" restaurant, but he operates the shop with a complete lack of ethics or civilized behavior. The evaluations and your health are your own concern; I have done my duty. Complaints will be filed with the relevant authorities, accompanied by pictures as evidence. While you may think you are dining in Europe, you are actually facing an Eastern hygiene mindset and paying for it. And they ask their employees to post fake reviews on Google. They instruct their employees to post additional comments in response to negative reviews

Absolutely favorite Italian in Berlin! Excellent food, delicious wine and above all: very, very friendly staff. Perfectly located on a side street between Rosenthaler Platz and Weinmeisterstraße. You feel like you're in great hands in this cozy restaurant, which is why I won't go to any other Italian restaurant in Berlin. Recommendation: Penne Arrabiata with scampi and rosé wine ☺️👌🏻

We have reserved a table for dinner. It was very dark in the restaurant. Unfortunately one dish came wrong, which can happen, but the waiter's reaction was very rude with a "Don't you like that? Then we have to throw away the pizza". The pizza wasn't remade, just the toppings were replaced, which is why the pizza was unintentionally very spicy and tasted different than intended. We didn't receive the second round of drinks even after waiting at least 20 minutes. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the service at all.

My favorite truffle pasta restaurant! There are a lot of famous truffle places around here, but this one is the best. If you drink wine with truffle pasta outside here on a summer day, Intoxicated by the taste, intoxicated by the atmosphere, intoxicated by love I ate it yesterday and I want to eat it again They gave me a lot of truffles because I shouted mehr mehr It tastes like white truffle and is seasoned just right. Hehe, I'll come again! 🍄🍷

We were at Sisal on Friday. The food, the staff was awesome. You can't describe it with words. You should just go by and see for yourself. We will definitely visit again.

Very good food, excellent services, everything gives you a fine and familiar sensation. We came twice during our short visit in Berlin. But for sure we will come back. This place is a diamond among stupid restaurants in the area. Deserves to be your choice!

Restaurant sieht sehr schön aus und der Salat und die Pizza sind sehr lecker.

Mittlerweile mein zweites Wohnzimmer. So ein herzliches familiäres Verhältnis wird selten irgendwo so schnell aufgebaut. Die Speisen sind fantastisch, definitiv auch große Portionen. Preis Leistung in dieser Ecke ist unschlagbar.

Not recommended. Never again. Very overpriced compared to quality. Nothing Italian here, except for some songs played while you eat. I ordered a steak, it was properly cooked but very low quality, extremely chewy, I went home with a sore jaw. The wine is regular (I saw only 5 options). I paid and they didn't give me my change untill I insisted for that. So rude!!!

Food was okay, but not more. Nothing to remember. The salad was already covered by a mixed dressing, instead of serving it blank with oil & vinegar by the side. I had not been asked if I wanted any dressing or which type. The pasta was okay. The restaurant was extremely dark inside. To be fair: I probably went there right between lunch time and the evening, so they had to get prepared for the evening.

I ordered a glass of wine to enjoy whilst reading. I went to pay and they told me they only accept cash. When I told them I didn’t have cash, the waiter was annoyed and got the card machine out (so they do accept card) and told me I had to pay double because I didn’t have cash. What business does accept card in 2023?

Terrible food. The first potatoes I did like in my life! ugh I might as well ordered the worse dish here. DO NOT ORDER CHICKEN WITH POTATOES. Terrible. It was cooked with no love at all! they don’t speak any English and the lady didn’t understood my friend can’t have cheese and brought a lasaña that looked like a soup with cheese lol

So enttäuschend. Sind langjährige Gäste, nun nicht mehr. Sind selten so " verarscht"( sorry für die Wortwahl, trifft leider absolut zu) worden. Trüffellasagne war ganz weit weg von Trüffeln , die Portion mit 2 Lasagneplatten lächerlich und der Servicemitarbeiter bei höflicher Nachfrage dreist lachend. Für 19.90 fürs Portiönchen und dann auch noch frech - wir kehren nun, als treue Gäste, in der Nähe ein.

If you like the experience of an entire tray of drinks dropped on you, come visit... Otherwise don't bother.

Went for an early (530pm) dinner. Place has maybe 12 tables. Cozy. Almost everyone here was a local, we definitely felt like tourists (which we were!). Bread was just OK. The 3 dishes we had (pizza, pasta, lasagna) were all very good! Had some trouble ordering the wine, might have been a language barrier. Overall a nice meal.

Wir waren gestern zu 4. dort, das essen war eine Katastrophe....Pizza ungenießbar,steak hat ranzig geschmeckt und das bruschetta....ganz arg schlimm...noch nie so schlecht italienisch gegessen.....es war einfach nur sehr sehr schlecht und ich verstehe nicht,dass das lokal voll war!Ganz arg schlimm!
