Authentic experience, kind service, and delicious fresh food 🙂 Here in Berlin, it’s not easy to find Italian restaurants that offer such a variety of risotto dishes, and we’re so happy to have discovered this one! On top of that, there are plenty of other options to choose from, all at very fair prices 🤑 The food is prepared right on the spot in an open-style kitchen, and the chef’s direct contact with the guests makes it even more special. Every visit here has been a lovely experience. I truly recommend it ☺️

A very nice Italian restaurant with a great atmosphere. The complimentary side salad was a very nice surprise, but the real highlight was the truffle pasta: creamy, aromatic, and simply delicious. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive, which perfectly rounded off our visit. I would definitely come back on my next visit to Berlin.

Small, authentic, and truly delicious! The server was super friendly and attentive. We went there specifically because we were craving truffles, and we weren't disappointed! Pasta, pizza, and gnocchi—all with truffles. I had the homemade gnocchi and was in truffle heaven 😄 Creamy, well-seasoned, and a huge portion! I'll definitely be back

It was a poem. The bruschetta was also good and my girlfriend had salmon with noodles and was also pleasantly surprised and thought it was great. Thanks for the legga meal. Would love to come back

Unfortunately, I can't confirm the positive reviews. Maybe it was a bad day, or maybe the reviews are curated—we were just thinking about it and couldn't remember ever having eaten so badly in Berlin. The carbonara with cream and cheap cooked ham—I was really astonished that it's sold like that and that the place has been around for so long. It's a shame, because the seating is really nice.

Probably the best pizza I've had in Berlin. Thin, crispy crust and fluffy on the inside. High quality ingredients used and you handmade in an open style kitchen. A bit puzzled why this place is not more highly rated - absolute hidden gem!

Absolutely beautiful food. Great portions, wonderfully cooked and really good prices too. Big salads to start and beautiful bruschetta before carbonara and salmon for mains. Can't recommend highly enough! Thank you 🫡

5 Italian grandmas just died from us eating this pasta. Overcooked soggy pasta , the Carbonara made with some cream and the cheapest sandwich ham (not even bacon which would have not been great but better). I don’t know how the cook can seriously make this food and not feel ashamed. I don’t get how anyone gave them 5 stars. One extra star since the service and the location was okay.

Don’t waste your time. Sat down at 6.30 got food at 9. almost 3h wait. Food was mediocre at best, not worth the wait. Really a shame since it was birthday celebration. Only good thing was tiramisu. Bad place.

As someone who has worked there, I am providing you with an insider’s perspective. The hygiene practices in this establishment are highly questionable. For instance, food is checked by dipping fingers into it. The pasta, which should be freshly cooked upon order, is actually prepared in bulk long in advance and left sitting for hours. Boiled pasta is cooled on a dirty countertop before being served later. Employees are explicitly instructed not to let customers see this process. A single cloth is used to clean everything—the countertop, cabinets, cutting boards, and even the workers’ hands. There are no dedicated utensils or separate preparation areas for vegetarian or vegan meals. Instead of replacing the metal food containers each evening, they simply wipe the lids and use the same cloth to “clean” them. The containers themselves are never properly washed or changed. Dropping food on the floor is not considered a problem here—it is simply put back on the plate and served. I am not sure if all food establishments operate this way, but after witnessing these practices firsthand, I no longer feel comfortable eating out. The owner is an appalling individual who exploits his workers under harsh conditions, only to fire them after a short period. He constantly yells at employees over trivial matters. The only worker who remains is an Afghan refugee, who doesn’t work there by choice but out of sheer necessity. It is heartbreaking to witness such treatment in what is supposed to be a civilized society. Adding to the absurdity, the owner—who does not even speak his native language (Turkish) properly—walks around pretending to be “Italian,” throwing in random Italian words like bella to fit the so-called theme of an “Italian” restaurant. However, the way he operates the business is completely devoid of ethics and professionalism. Customers should also be aware that employees are instructed to leave fake positive reviews on Google and respond to negative feedback with misleading comments. I have done my duty by sharing this information. Complaints will be filed with the relevant authorities, supported by photographic evidence. While you may believe you are dining in Europe, in reality, you are paying for a standard of hygiene that belongs elsewhere. Your health and judgment are in your own hands.

Family atmosphere, warm owners, super tasty carbonara and mussel soup. Definitely recommended!

When you come in you see a very nice atmosphere and it smells of very tasty food, nice music. The wine is delicious 🍷. The food is fabulous. There is a wide selection of 🍕pizza, 🍝 pasta, 🐟 fish, 🦐 shrimp, 🥗 salads, 🍚 rice dishes, 🍗 chicken, 🥩 stake, truffle dishes, 🍮 dessert... and more. I ordered veal liver with potato, it was very soft. The dessert “Panna Cotta” was very tender. The staff is very friendly. The food is delicious, the chef cooks very well. I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant.

This place so was so cozy, and good quality food. We had a pasta and pizza and both were amazing. They were very welcoming and attentive.

Dursun brother Esengül's pizzas, desserts, presentations and especially their conversations are wonderful. If you come to Berlin, do not pass by here. It is in the heart of Mitte. Don't say you don't eat salad, eat it. Specially ask for the magnificent salad with its wonderful sauces.

The food tastes homemade and is very tasty. We had the bruschetta, salmon, and truffle risotto which were all great. The music and atmosphere are nice as well. Pretty solid Italian restaurant overall.

We had a pleasant meal but when paying separately they kept on re-adding meals which we’d already paid for. They were very aggressive and it made for a very unpleasant experience.

I ate yesterday at Sisal, which had a friendly welcome, and even though we arrived late, they served us, which is a very good point. The pasta was good, but I have never tasted such a bad tiramisu in my life; I wondered if it was old or just disgusting. When we got to the checkout, we found ourselves with three different prices: one from the menu, one from the display board, and one from the register, so it was quite special.

Perfect. Truffle pizza was delicious, as was the salad beforehand. Friendly, discreet service. Intimate Italian restaurant, nice seating outside. P/L is correct.

Absolutely favorite Italian in Berlin! Excellent food, delicious wine and above all: very, very friendly staff. Perfectly located on a side street between Rosenthaler Platz and Weinmeisterstraße. You feel like you're in great hands in this cozy restaurant, which is why I won't go to any other Italian restaurant in Berlin. Recommendation: Penne Arrabiata with scampi and rosé wine ☺️👌🏻

We have reserved a table for dinner. It was very dark in the restaurant. Unfortunately one dish came wrong, which can happen, but the waiter's reaction was very rude with a "Don't you like that? Then we have to throw away the pizza". The pizza wasn't remade, just the toppings were replaced, which is why the pizza was unintentionally very spicy and tasted different than intended. We didn't receive the second round of drinks even after waiting at least 20 minutes. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the service at all.

My favorite truffle pasta restaurant! There are a lot of famous truffle places around here, but this one is the best. If you drink wine with truffle pasta outside here on a summer day, Intoxicated by the taste, intoxicated by the atmosphere, intoxicated by love I ate it yesterday and I want to eat it again They gave me a lot of truffles because I shouted mehr mehr It tastes like white truffle and is seasoned just right. Hehe, I'll come again! 🍄🍷

We were at Sisal on Friday. The food, the staff was awesome. You can't describe it with words. You should just go by and see for yourself. We will definitely visit again.

Very good food, excellent services, everything gives you a fine and familiar sensation. We came twice during our short visit in Berlin. But for sure we will come back. This place is a diamond among stupid restaurants in the area. Deserves to be your choice!

Not recommended. Never again. Very overpriced compared to quality. Nothing Italian here, except for some songs played while you eat. I ordered a steak, it was properly cooked but very low quality, extremely chewy, I went home with a sore jaw. The wine is regular (I saw only 5 options). I paid and they didn't give me my change untill I insisted for that. So rude!!!

Food was okay, but not more. Nothing to remember. The salad was already covered by a mixed dressing, instead of serving it blank with oil & vinegar by the side. I had not been asked if I wanted any dressing or which type. The pasta was okay. The restaurant was extremely dark inside. To be fair: I probably went there right between lunch time and the evening, so they had to get prepared for the evening.
