Sion im Carré in Bonn

We were there for the first time today and just happened to walk past. Since it looked so appealing from outside, we spontaneously went in - best decision! It was great all around! Food incredibly tasty, delivered quickly, despite Saturday evening, great service, cocktails very tasty, super cozy, great music, everything was great! We'll definitely be back!! Big praise to the entire team including the kitchen staff!

Unfortunately for vegetarians there is only a very limited choice.

The service was good, but the food was mediocre at best in relation to the price. My burger, which cost more than €20, had raw mushrooms on it, which I found took some getting used to since the onions were caramelized. From my point of view, the burger bread was exactly like it was from the supermarket and the meat seemed like average frozen food to me. For more than €20 I just expect a little more from a burger. The price-performance ratio simply doesn't fit there. My partner had Obazda with a pretzel from the Oktoberfest season ticket. Unfortunately the pretzel was quite hard. Every baked pretzel is better. The service was friendly. The ambience is rustic brewery style, which fits the concept.

Food and ambience on the upper floor was top. Unfortunately, the food served at the planned event was lousy. The first ones had already finished eating and my food still took two hours to be served. By then the neighbor was no longer hungry. Ordered drinks also took far too long. It was still a pleasant celebration, albeit a hungry one and less drunk than it could have been.

Played here with our band. Despite repeated reminders, the Sion im Carre doesn't want to pay our bill. We all became infected with Corona at the performance. I heard that some employees were there sick and untested. This recession has been previously deleted. So this is how criticism is dealt with… Not recommended. Thank you

Service was ok. Five of us ate there. The menu was sticky. Disgusting. The Sion is a Kõlsch-focused restaurant. Why do they hang blue and white Bavarian flags there during Oktoberfest? That doesn't fit! I also find a Bavarian season ticket totally inappropriate. The Bayern-Brauhaus Salvator is next door. Sion should just stay "Kölsch" and not jump on the Bavarian week. I want Cologne design here.

We rented the entire Sion Carre from our company and had a mega employee party. In every respect a great and successful evening🙂😁

The most beautiful and friendliest counter in all of Bonn. Everyone is friendly and customer requests are always met. Great staff and whether it's a beer at the bar or a nice evening with friends over a cozy meal, nothing is left to be desired here. Always my pleasure.

By far the worst food we were served in Bonn. All the ready-made meat out of the bag and into the deep fryer. The Gordon Bleu was plump and tasteless. The cheese filling ran out immediately - I didn't see any cheap liquid cheese or the ham. Likewise the schnitzel we ordered - wafer-thin with no taste and a lukewarm mushroom sauce where you had to look for the mushrooms. The salad consisted mostly of huge lettuce leaves and there was hardly any dressing noticeable. The only good thing was the fries, but they're great at frying. The result for expensive money is a dish that some fast food outlets do better. You can drink there. but never eat again! The toilets were also very dirty!

Definitely worth a visit! The staff is great and the food and drinks are great. We had a lovely evening here and would love to come back. Many thanks to the great team! Highly recommended.

I ate there with my family, the food itself was okay and so was the ambience. Unfortunately I can't say anything good about the service because the waitress wanted to clear our food from the table before we were finished. I also find the service very rude and very bad. I don't think the number of dishes is good either - there could have been a little more choice.

Modern beautiful shop. Hui on the outside, yuck on the inside. The service is known to be poor. The toilets are disgustingly dirty.

Brauhaus with a typical menu. The food is tasty but nothing special - just average! Unfortunately, the prices are clearly too high for that.

1 star although it's not all bad, but when the service is so unbelievably subpar and that's the case with several visits at different times on different days, that's just how it is. If you want to wait longer than 15 minutes before you can place your order, if you then wait another 10-15 minutes for the drinks and if you are lucky you receive your food in less than 60 minutes after the drinks, you can definitely have a nice evening there.

We can only recommend this location. There is a great atmosphere here. The bartender Mirco deserves special mention, as he always welcomes us with a smile on his face. A drink without Mirco, a NoGo! Thanks for the great service! Your GIN friends

I was there with my colleagues for the summer party. We all received our orders quickly. Everything was very delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. Since the Germany game was broadcast on the day, it was very crowded and the atmosphere was great. However, the service and quality of the food did not suffer.

The food is nothing special but not bad either. Unfortunately the male service staff is extremely unfriendly. They don't even thank you for tips. Unfortunately, you can't have a conversation because it's far too loud in the store. We also waited 15 minutes before we could even get to our reserved table. Overall, a mediocre store with bad staff (not all) and mediocre customers. Not worth a visit.

One of the few places that were open at 1 am on Saturday night, not for long though, but better than nothing. The service was nice. Had a lovely time there!

Unfortunately, they are not suitable for a larger group of guests. The food we had already ordered was lukewarm and not very tasty. The waiters were overwhelmed. A pity!

If you're hungry in the triangle, you should dine in the Carré in Sion and you'll feel like you're in good hands there in every respect. Thank you, Sion!

I ate at Sion for the first time today. Nothing going on despite the best weather. The waitress (visibly a temporary worker) was very friendly. I ordered salad with chicken (18 euros). The chicken was tasty but the lettuce was brown and rotten all over and seemed to be a few days old. When I pointed this out to the lady, she just shrugged her shoulders and said "Sorry" and brought me the bill. No espresso on the house or the offer to possibly waive some of my bill. I paid well and will never come back... it's a shame...

The food was very tasty and the portions were large enough. There are deductions for: - The assigned table directly at the door is not recommended. It pulls like... -The face mask was partly worn under the nose -Vaccination protection was negligently checked. I could have come with someone else’s vaccination certificate -The salad was only brought when requested. -The toilets are not yet completely renovated. I felt like I was on a construction site. There is still room for improvement!!! Second attempt! We were on the top floor due to a closed company. No problem, but it was so loud that having a conversation was out of the question. If I want to party, I'll go to a club but definitely not to a restaurant. In addition, I didn't like my pasta at all. It seemed to me that finished products were being processed. Too bad, opportunity wasted. 2 attempts, 2 times disappointed. That's why a star was deducted.

A shop that can't decide whether it wants to be a club, bar, restaurant or train station. Result: He doesn't do any of it right. The staff is hard-working but untrained, the music is too loud, and the overall atmosphere is unpleasant. The food is moderately warmed up but still only arrives lukewarm at the table. As a Bonner, I can only advise against a visit.

Were here at lunchtime. The Caesar salad and the pulled pork burger on the lunch menu for just under €12 each were awesome! Both in terms of taste and portion size. The service attentive and quick. We recommend!

The atmosphere and service was good. Steak was sadly overcooked even tho I specifically asked for medium rare. I had to give it back and the second one I got was indeed very good. I believe during busy times or in big groups of people quality and attention to details goes down. Lava cake and the drink were really good tho. Would go back for the desserts. 👍🏻

The food and service are good, the portions are very large, but the entrance doors and the toilet in which are very cramped is something, while some wash their hands, others cannot open the door normally, it’s a closet, not a toilet.

A few days ago my friend and I visited the carre in Bonn, on the recommendation of one of our friends. We were initially greeted in a friendly manner by the employee, our drinks were taken and received promptly. However, there were some problems with our food order. We received 1 dish out of 4 ordered. We waited a total of 40 minutes for the remaining 3 (note - it was all the same dish). When we politely asked the male waiter why we had to wait so long for our food, we were loudly attacked with words like "I'm canceling everything in the kitchen, finish your drinks and then you can leave without paying". We followed this instruction even though we would have liked to eat there. It's a shame about this guest unfriendliness!

The service was rather unsympathetic and not in a good mood. The piña colada wasn't great. The cheeseburger was very tasty and the fries were nice and crispy. The portion was great.

Simply underground! We don't have 2 bites from the main menu and then we get the dessert slapped on the table. No asking if everything was okay and whether the food tasted good, but you were informed about the gambling for minutes in the middle of the meal. There you sit, have your lunch, look at your dessert and listen to the waitress say something about gambling. We wanted to share our perception of the service with the management of Sion. She thanked me very much because she now knew what she could do better. You just realize that you as a guest are the priority here. Incredible!

Very good restaurant, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious. The cocktails are good. Unfortunately the beer is Sion but there has to be a catch 😂 the one with the gaff and it would be absolutely awesome. The seating inside is comfortable, the chairs outside are ok. But all in all it was very good. I will definitely go again.

Now the shop looks good...! Service was friendly but it took a long time to arrive. Setting the tables was more important.... Food was, well, a disaster...! There's no reason for me to eat there again! I would have invested the money better elsewhere!

Cordon Blue looked pretty good, seemed like a convenience product to me, didn't taste like anything. The cheese flowed out wonderfully but seemed like fake cheese to me. Even if the asparagus cream was also a delivered product, it at least had a taste. I prefer a well-crafted fresh Cordon Blue. I think that all products are pre-made finished products. It's a shame, the menu actually suits my taste perfectly.

Nice restaurant with outdoor dining, lunch with a small menu is inexpensive and very good. Large selection of drinks of all kinds. Service is excellent and super friendly. The restaurant is well suited for wheelchair users; there is a disabled toilet that can be reached with a large elevator. For me it's a nice place for any time of the day and I'd love to come back.

Went there spontaneously on a “trip” to Bonn and since then have only been going there to eat. Great selection, super nice service, great ambience, the food is delicious, we also love the Nutella cheesecake. We like to drive for an hour because everything fits. 5 stars +

Great ambience with cozy lighting and danceable music from the DJ. However, the cocktails are really cheeky at almost €9. 2/3 crushed ice cream in a small style glass.

I was there to celebrate, the upstairs is really cool, but the cocktails leave a lot to be desired. Half the glass is full of ice, hardly any taste, for almost 9 euros something is wrong....

will not recommend. My boyfriend and I paid separately. The waiter was surprised and said that all German men were superior to my friend. Total nonsense. The food was just so-so.

Had dinner at Sion yesterday. Cordon Bleu! Glad that someone enjoyed this 4 weeks ago. I just thought it was awful. Never again this ready-made product from the deep fryer. But I also have to say that the side salad and the gratinated sheep's cheese were good. That's why 2 stars instead of just one.

Last Friday evening we visited the wonderful location and received excellent service from Mirko. His competence, friendliness and humor made our stay an unforgettable experience. Yesterday I was at Sion im Carré: The burger was a dry finished product for €19, really not good at all! The conditions (responsible for the thalers upstairs at the checkout as well as the others down in the dining room) were rude, brazen and didn't feel like doing their job. That was the first and last time… not recommended!

Food edible, but definitely not worth the money. Hardly any vegetarian dishes, misleading labeling of meat dishes as vegetarian on the menu. It's already very loud, the extreme sound with strenuous music made any conversation with the other person impossible. A large screen with advertisements flashes and dazzles.

Good, fresh and cold Sion Kölsch. Unfortunately, the music was turned up so loud that it was no longer possible to have a conversation. Despite our request to turn the music down a little, there was no response. So we left earlier than we originally planned

I went there twice and ate. The first time was very good in December and that's why I came back in February and now it was bad. Won't eat there again for over €47 for steak.
