The old waiters with glasses is the worst waiters I ever met. Not even say thank you after aggressively ask for a tip

It was very tasty, the price for the food was reasonable and with a large group (20+ people) we were able to sit together at a long table.

Sion supposedly offers karaoke every first and third Friday of the month. That's not the case. I've been there three times on those dates, and I even called ahead to ask if it was happening. I was told there would be karaoke. But no—three times I went there for nothing. A local resident apparently complained to the city. That's why there's no karaoke there anymore. I'm just wondering why they don't tell me or anyone else? I don't think that's a good idea! Just be honest!

Super tasty food and very fast.

We spent the evening here with a large group and, despite the busy schedule, were rewarded with excellent service from Emin. He was friendly, competent, gave great advice, and fulfilled every special request with a smile.

We stayed here for the after job party and were only in the upper area, so I can't say anything about the food. Location upstairs was nice, but the toilets were so dirty that I was a bit shocked. We were there quite early, around 11pm and the ladies room really didn't look good. That doesn't have to be the case. It's a real shame, it doesn't fit the impression at all and toilets have to be clean please 🙏🏼

Were there for a company party with around 30 people. Great food, delicious drinks and (except for a short period when a lot of new guests came at once) very good service. The only drawback: we sat directly under a music box that was set way too loud. We'll definitely be back.

One of my favorite spots in Bonn! After many visits to different bars and locations in Bonn, Sion im Carré has established itself as a real favorite for me. The atmosphere is stylish and relaxed - perfect lighting conditions, pleasant music and an ambience that invites you to feel good. Ideal for a date, a cozy evening with friends or even a company party - the location offers enough space without losing any of its charm. I particularly like the fact that a rather sophisticated, mixed audience meets here - so it's pleasantly quiet and well-mannered. The service is consistently positive – attentive, friendly and professional. When we are there, we always hope that Katrina and Serkan are on duty - the two of them make every visit even better because they always make the evening something special with their friendly, humorous and warm manner. If you are looking for a place in Bonn with style, class and a great atmosphere, you have come to the right place. Would go back at any time.

My birthday is April 5th. celebrated with 14 people in Sion. When I arrived, despite having made a reservation early, no one really knew where we should be seated, so we were simply sent upstairs with the words “Sit by the window somewhere.” When I made my reservation, I wasn't told that there was a hit party taking place that evening, which I think the guests should have been told in advance, as they couldn't exchange a single word due to the volume. Unfortunately, the waitress was completely unfriendly and not very competent. I really always have great understanding for the staff in the catering industry, as I have worked in the catering industry myself for many years, but that was impossible. Every time one of us ordered something, the waitress was completely annoyed and made you feel like you were bothering her, and she often ignored us, even though she only had 3 tables to serve on the first floor most of the time. Many people heard the sentences “that’s too much work” and “what else?!”, which is unreasonable for guests. In almost every round that we ordered, several drinks were forgotten, so we had to wait an average of 25-30 minutes for our drinks and often had to order them multiple times. Sometimes we would come to the counter to save the waitress a trip, and she would groan in annoyance and roll her eyes. We are really extremely disappointed with the service, you really don't understand why you should spend so much money at Sion when the service is so bad!

The service was a complete disaster: unfriendly, overwhelmed and sometimes just disinterested. Drinks took ages to arrive - even after repeated requests. There was a complete lack of professionalism from both the waiters and the counter staff. The taste of the food was okay, but for the prices it was completely excessive and in no way justified. Price-performance ratio is absolutely not right here. Particularly bold: Huge music boxes were set up in the guest room (!), which were played at a volume that made it difficult to hold a conversation. That was absolutely inappropriate, especially since the hit party was taking place in a different room. For guests who wanted to eat normally, an impertinence - suspicious of tinnitus. All in all: Overpriced, disorganized, unfriendly and unfortunately completely unprofessional. We will definitely not be coming back and cannot recommend this restaurant at all.

Successful evening with delicious food

The service is very bad. The waitress was incompetent and inattentive to the customers. There are no ashtrays for smokers on the tables outside, so there are a lot of cigarette butts under the tables. The food is okay. Overall it left an unpleasant impression. We won't come here again

Schlager party on April 5th, 2025 is a disaster. The sound technology is absolutely wrong and hurts your ears. Never again.

Modern yet traditional. Typical and authentic cuisine. The sauerbraten is highly recommended. Portions are generous, and the customer is king. This makes a relaxed lunch or an evening with friends a real treat! Thumbs up and keep it up...

I've been to you several times now and the food was always peaceful. We were with you on Weiberfastnacht and we were more than satisfied, great location with nice service staff, great atmosphere and had a lot of fun. We'd love to come back. 🙂

Save rips OK, Best were fries and nuggets (children's plate) With 4 adults and a child we spent just under €100. Burger 22€, where was the truffle sauce???????? Never again is my conclusion

Were there for the first time and also the last time. Ambiance is nice, but that's all. First you wait forever for the staff and then the food comes after 5 minutes. So warmed up. Rather unbelievable for schnitzel with fries. It consisted almost exclusively of breading, dry fries. You should also take a good look at the cutlery beforehand. I'm disappointed. The staff could be better trained. For the price and the ambience you can expect more. It doesn't fit together like that.

Service was top, AAAAABUT Absolute disaster! The DJ at Sion in Bonn destroyed any spark of good mood. It was as if he had no knowledge of music or tact - every transition was like a failed experiment that turned the evening into a sonic fiasco. Songs were constantly interrupted abruptly and then played again from the beginning, which is hard to beat in terms of sheer incompetence. His random volume changes were not only extremely annoying, but also turned the entire evening into a real noise nightmare. Such a disrespectful approach to music and the obvious unpreparedness are an impertinence for every visitor. I strongly advise against experiencing this DJ - he is incompetent in every way. In short: Subscribe to Spotify, plug in an AUX cable and play it. This is more economical and better 👌

The food was very good, although perhaps a little overpriced. 24 euros for the schnitzel and a salad also 24 euros. At the beginning the service was okay, unfortunately it had deteriorated a lot over the course of the evening. Hardly anyone came to the table, orders were forgotten or were left on the counter for 15 minutes and no one brought them. When the gentleman with the glasses was aware of the tip and didn't accept it despite being asked because 1.70 euros was probably too little, we were served. You shouldn't sit at the entrance either, it's extremely drafty in the cold season.

Either I'm really unlucky with the days or the service is really just not good. We waited several minutes until someone came to take the order. And it took a good while between drinks and food. The food was also rather mediocre, especially because the burger pati wasn't cooked through on several orders.

We were at Sion im Carre in Bonn on December 16th, 2024 with four people. The ambience is very nice. What is striking, apart from the ambience, are the steep prices. Halven Hahn for €10.50 is pretty cheeky. The cocktails around €9.60. Not even from bad parents. We then ordered 2 Sex on The beach, a Mojito and an X-Mas Mojito. All four drinks were an absolute failure. Almost no taste of alcohol. With the X-Mas Mojito, the drink was overwhelmed by an unbelievable amount of coconut milk. Apart from the coconut milk you couldn't taste anything. The coconut milk also flocculated. We asked the waitress about it. She told us that the bartender had been a master bartender for two years and everything was just right. It's the expert. After these miserable cocktails at a hefty price, I honestly don't even want to try the food. Zero stars for a disastrous performance by the bartender. The probability of seeing you again is also zero!!!

Dirty, noisy, substandard service. The toilets were dirty and the tables and floor were sticky like you were at a frat party. The waitresses were absolutely annoyed and overwhelmed. At some point they stopped serving our table completely. If you spoke to them, they would turn around with the words "I'm coming right away" and leave, but never come back. The food is absolutely overpriced: You can count the fries on the burgers, the gnocchi with fresh truffles came without truffles and the rump steak, which was ordered medium, was raw on the inside. Instead of a semi-dry red wine, we got an extra dry one and only when we asked for the right one, instead of Kölsch Radler, ... Absolutely not recommended, never again!

We were in town on Saturday evening (the Christmas market was taking place at the time) and spontaneously went to Sion im Carré. We got a seat even though it was very busy and we didn't have a reservation. We were served very friendly. The food was very tasty. 👌🏻

We were guests here with a group of 10 people. All in all we were disappointed. As a guest, this is pure mass processing. We ordered different dishes and none of them really tasted good. I had the schnitzel and was absolutely disappointed. The meat (supposedly veal) was just stringy and fatty. I described this to the waiter and he wanted to pass it on. My impression was that he wasn't interested and that he heard it more often. Apparently the waiter in the lower area was almost alone. As a result, it took a long time until new drinks were available. The tapped beer often sat on the counter for minutes and foam was repeatedly tapped to keep it looking fresh. That was also interesting to watch. All in all, the ambience is nice, but the price/performance ratio is not there. There are definitely better stores where you get more for your money.

Great brewery! Something different than the classics in Cologne. The atmosphere is chic, the service is nicer, the food is much better! I had a real (!) Wiener Schnitzel - great for this price! Big praise. The classic brewery has been rethought here! Check it out! Highly recommended!

We had our Christmas party at Sion. Unfortunately I wasn't thrilled with the food and service. I would have ordered a burger. My meat and my burger bun were very dark and tasted slightly burnt. The price-performance ratio of the S-Carré Burger is underground! €22.90 for a small burger with a tiny portion of fries. My colleague had a huge veal schnitzel with three times the amount of fries and a side salad for €24.90, which was hardly manageable. The burger is not right for the price! We only waited a ridiculous 1.5 hours for the food after ordering and after 2 hours not everyone had eaten. We had to keep reordering because we couldn't manage to serve the order. After the meal we ordered around 60-80 schnapps for everyone. Then the waiter comes with a tray of plastic shot glasses. Am I on the carnival parade or in a restaurant?! How to serve plastic glasses in a restaurant? Everyone can think what they want, but for the prices quoted here I expect more.

The food was okay, but not outstanding. The prices are rather poor. There isn't even a slice of bread with a salad. The schnitzels consist more of breading than meat. The portion is very large. The drinks are delicious. Especially the coffee.

We were there on Saturday afternoon without having previously booked a table. But there was a lot available right away, so we got a spot straight away. The portion was really big, but also delicious, we were able to have the rest packed up. The staff is quick and often comes by to ask if everything is OK. I can recommend the restaurant!

If there were minus stars, -5 stars would be appropriate. Service: The server was not able to serve a starter and a main course. The kitchen wouldn't be able to tell this apart and would otherwise be prepared at the same time, Starter: Tata: Boring in taste. Plus baked rolls. 1 bag of mustard. Main course burger: Dripping greasy pattie. And here too, baked rolls. Main course potato soup: Teeth wouldn't have been necessary. Pureed, salty soup with less than 5 pieces of bockwurst. Neither of us can remember ever eating so badly.

The service was good, but the food was mediocre at best in relation to the price. My burger, which cost more than €20, had raw mushrooms on it, which I found took some getting used to since the onions were caramelized. From my point of view, the burger bread was exactly like it was from the supermarket and the meat seemed like average frozen food to me. For more than €20 I just expect a little more from a burger. The price-performance ratio simply doesn't fit there. My partner had Obazda with a pretzel from the Oktoberfest season ticket. Unfortunately the pretzel was quite hard. Every baked pretzel is better. The service was friendly. The ambience is rustic brewery style, which fits the concept.

Played here with our band. Despite repeated reminders, the Sion im Carre doesn't want to pay our bill. We all became infected with Corona at the performance. I heard that some employees were there sick and untested. This recession has been previously deleted. So this is how criticism is dealt with… Not recommended. Thank you

Food and ambience on the upper floor was top. Unfortunately, the food served at the planned event was lousy. The first ones had already finished eating and my food still took two hours to be served. By then the neighbor was no longer hungry. Ordered drinks also took far too long. It was still a pleasant celebration, albeit a hungry one and less drunk than it could have been.

Service was ok. Five of us ate there. The menu was sticky. Disgusting. The Sion is a Kõlsch-focused restaurant. Why do they hang blue and white Bavarian flags there during Oktoberfest? That doesn't fit! I also find a Bavarian season ticket totally inappropriate. The Bayern-Brauhaus Salvator is next door. Sion should just stay "Kölsch" and not jump on the Bavarian week. I want Cologne design here.

The most beautiful and friendliest counter in all of Bonn. Everyone is friendly and customer requests are always met. Great staff and whether it's a beer at the bar or a nice evening with friends over a cozy meal, nothing is left to be desired here. Always my pleasure.

By far the worst food we were served in Bonn. All the ready-made meat out of the bag and into the deep fryer. The Gordon Bleu was plump and tasteless. The cheese filling ran out immediately - I didn't see any cheap liquid cheese or the ham. Likewise the schnitzel we ordered - wafer-thin with no taste and a lukewarm mushroom sauce where you had to look for the mushrooms. The salad consisted mostly of huge lettuce leaves and there was hardly any dressing noticeable. The only good thing was the fries, but they're great at frying. The result for expensive money is a dish that some fast food outlets do better. You can drink there. but never eat again! The toilets were also very dirty!

I don't think the number of dishes is good either - there could have been a little more choice.
