Siner Zit Pizzeria und Restaurant in Feldberg (Schwarzwald)

I'll start with the positive. The restaurant is nicely furnished and invites you to linger. However, some of the staff are rude, inattentive and seem annoyed. A waitress was annoyed that my 4 year old daughter got up and the waitress had to walk around her. She huffed and mumbled something we didn't understand. If the children hadn't been so hungry, we would have left straight away. Now about the food. We had a pizza, an XXL portion of cheese spaetzle and a salad with turkey strips. The pizza was only lukewarm and the cheese wasn't melted in the middle. We had ordered 2 robber plates, which unfortunately never came. Unfortunately, the XXL portion of cheese spaetzle was only a small casserole dish, but I can recommend it, it was tasty. The turkey strips in the salad were cold, the salad probably came out of the fridge ready. We would love to come back to the area, we had a great day in the snow, but we will take our own food with us and eat somewhere else on the way back.

So 4 euros for taffeta water is a mess! For a 180g xxl wienerschitzel with fries (equivalent to a child’s portion) Sorry for that once and never again Very expensive!!!

The food is good, you just go there hungry!!!

It's a shame, in 2024 it should actually be possible to inform guests that it is closed! A notice on the existing website would be a quick click and would be nice information for visitors!

As a tourist/visitor to Feldberg you should avoid this place. The terrace makes you want to sit down but you will leave very disappointed. The service is unfriendly and disinterested. The coordination in the service is also organized unprofessionally. The prices for the food are far too high for the quality that ends up at the table. As a tip, there is the Cafe Waldvogel 2 minutes further.

What a disappointment and the staff are so taken advantage of and at the mercy of the guests. Even if it's difficult to find good staff, you shouldn't waste what you have and it's better to forego a few tables. Definitely not enough staff in the service, the lady who took orders and was supposed to collect them was absolutely at a loss because there were simply too many tables. The table next to us changed guests five times, and they all left without being served. We had the patience that the food came, but unfortunately it was staggered so that the first person had already finished eating and the last person was allowed to sit in front of an empty seat and there were only three of us. The food on offer was OK, but had a bit of a snack bar style and a lot of convenience products were used.

A wonderful Feldberg day. Unfortunately, finishing at Siner Zit didn't round off the day. Cold coffee, cake was not brought. After 20 minutes of repeated questions: We're out of cake. No prompt and friendly staff.

Due to wealth or no skilled workers, only the tables outside were available and served. But they were all full. You were not allowed to sit down in the large restaurant inside. So we and many other guests moved on.

After 20 minutes of waiting for service we left. (03.11.24) To the service: if you don't manage to serve the guests, then say so and don't keep us waiting (!!!)

Unfortunately, due to the location, many visitors to the Feldberg spontaneously sit on the terrace. But the main problem is the process and friendliness of the service. Complete overwhelm, which leads, among other things, to very long waiting times. Tables are not wiped down because there is residue from previous guests. There are many great restaurants on Feldberg, but Siner Zit is certainly not it. Tourist trap?

Staff more than unpleasant, bordering on arrogance. I order a dish, they bring me spaghetti bolognese, which I did not order, I am told that the dish ordered is no longer available so they replaced it with spaghetti bolognese without asking me. I have never seen a service like this. Waitress who speaks badly on all the tables with her colleagues. No one comes to take your order when the restaurant is empty. In short, to flee! Too bad because we have been coming for years whenever we were in the area.

More than unpleasant service, the waitresses openly make fun of the customers. I had ordered a dish and they brought me something else without asking my opinion. Children are disturbing in this establishment Very disappointed

The Pinsa is a blast! Crispy, hot and delicious toppings. Friendly service too. We'll be back.

A really nice restaurant with fast, very friendly service. We enjoyed the best pumpkin soup I've ever had as a starter. The lumberjack pinsa with burrata tasted just as delicious, perfectly seasoned. We would be happy to come back and can only recommend a visit to everyone. The beautiful surroundings and the child-friendly facilities do the rest. A successful trip

Ambience very nice. Unfortunately the food isn't great. For me, cream sauce was a gravy and was also quite oily. Burgers were ok. Fries were probably just warmed up. This is definitely not fresh produce. Service ok. However, we couldn't order completely, we only had 4 menus out of 5 and she wanted to leave. It's a shame, you can tell they don't have to make an effort since it's the only restaurant nearby.

We only have good things to say. The service was top. The waitress took her time and even made jokes with our son. Food was also great. Come here every year and will continue to do so in the future. Highly recommended!

After a walk we had a "special" coffee with cake. The service was downright bad, bordering on rude. The coffee was also not good (7.95 per cup) Ingredients that were on the menu were missing and my dish was fuller than the cup when I put it down. We really shouldn't have accepted it, but we didn't want to let it ruin our otherwise fun day.

Very large portion, unfortunately taste below average

1/3 ice 3/4 alcohol.. Ice with alcohol, more like a little ice in the alcohol. Both the ice cream was served to me dirty on the sides. 2 scoops of ice cream remaining as shown in the picture covered with alcohol, alcohol partially drips from the edge of the glass...

As soon as we arrived, the welcome was cold and not very warm, but we had not yet met the manager (an Italian lady dressed in black). There were 4 of us and we ordered a main course and dessert, and a carafe of water, then a second. When we added the carafes (not bottles of mineral water) we were charged €6.90 each. When we asked for explanations, to our great surprise, the manager was extremely violent and insulted us in Italian. In short, go your way.

It's the only restaurant up there that's open a little longer. Maybe that's why you think you don't need to make any effort🤷‍♀️. Had an apple cake and apple strudel with cream and a scoop of ice cream. Both probably homemade. The cake was ok but nothing special. The strudel was eaten but not good. I also had to tell the waitress at the end. Also too expensive for the portion. It wasn't presented well either. Service was, mmh it could be better🤷‍♀️. As a guest you don't feel welcome, but rather like a burden. Very unfortunate. There is a play area for small children

The fries didn't taste like anything, me and my sisters ordered burgers without a side salad and they gave us a burger with the meat and nothing else and of course the side salad was still there! Another sister of mine had ordered spaetzle, which also didn't taste like anything. Also, the staff wasn't very friendly.

Average! We ate cake here. The apple strudel is a standard frozen product. The music outside is playing quite intrusively...

Adjustments to the dishes not possible (cannot order fries instead of spädle). Fries with the meal were limp and partly undercooked. snitzel was dried dry and came in a deep plate so it was impossible to cut. Price for food way too expensive for the quality you get. Staff couldn't help but smile.

Not friendly staff. We received the card quite quickly, but then we eventually had to raise our hands ourselves, otherwise we would have been there the next day. People next to us hadn't even had the card yet, so they gave us our card. They ordered at the same time as us. Ice and drinks. Drinks were brought to us first, which also took a while. The people next to us still had nothing. They ran away. Then our food finally arrived, which was fine, not great. Then came the ice cream and drinks for those people. Yes, they had now left after waiting a very long time, while the terrace was almost empty.

Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for service before we could order drinks and food! The food came quickly, unfortunately the drinks only came after the food. Unfortunately, the salad wasn't very tasty and you can't really go wrong. Unfortunately, the currywurst with fries was only lukewarm. Unfortunately, so did the children's spaghetti.

The food was mediocre (had cheese spaetzle). Unfortunately the food didn't come at the same time at all. My cheese spaetzle arrived much earlier than my friend's salad (probably 5 minutes). I finished early and my plate was cleared even though my friend was still eating. Such things are basics that, in my opinion, have to work, especially given the prices (cheese spaetzle 14.90 and the salad with turkey strips also 14.90 and the salad was really not good, unfortunately I have to say). The location here in the Black Forest is of course great. My tip: put more love into the service and food ;)

Bad experience!! Ok, nice and spacious atmosphere but unfortunately the food is really average/satisfactory. The service was catastrophic! There were two of us there: unfortunately we couldn't eat at the same time because the staff couldn't bring 1 salad and 1 cheese spaetzle at the same time! I finally got my food after asking! A very simple salad! Not great art! When one of us had already eaten, the waiters cleared the plates while the second person was still eating. -.- No friendly service. You don't feel like you're in good hands at all. Ok, they're the only restaurant that's open that long in the area, but it's really bad!! Quantity and not quality. A little competition would perhaps motivate the store to work better!

Nice and cozy and memories of the history is very interesting as the TV shows everything and the furnishings look that way. We only spent the coffee and cake time there. The cakes were extremely sweet. Even though my son loves it sweet, it was too sweet. The play area for children was great.

Water in a glass cost 4 euro here And pizza was under baked and taste sucks.

There is no English menu, waiters speak very bad English and don't understand you and the food is also bad. Most of the dishes they have in the internet menu they actually don't have.The place itself and atmosphere is nice.

Worst cheese spaetzle ever eaten. Pork steak with herb butter, gnocchi and tomato sauce are also not recommended. The complaint was brought to the kitchen but he only responded with incomprehension. No reaction from the kitchen to the guest. As the saying goes. Shoemaker, stick to your lasts. Only order Italian cuisine from an Italian restaurant. I've learned it now too.

Great location, nice staff, good food, fair prices. Molto bene. The toilets are also very clean. It was the only place open in the Feldberger Hof area on a Friday in June, shortly before 5 p.m. The rest seem to be still in lockdown or can live without guests, and the hotel only allows overnight guests to enter.

The worst fries in a long time, as if fries that had already been fried were reheated. Pins were rather bland. Price is way too expensive for that. But I got a 4 euro discount which was nice.

The food felt like it had been warmed up in the microwave, not freshly prepared. I placed the order and in 10 minutes we had food for 4 people - I've never experienced that in a restaurant before.

A beautiful restaurant in a ski atmosphere, includes a children's playroom with really decent facilities, the food was delicious, (the minestrone soup was less to our taste but the rest was excellent) we also ordered pizza with salami and ham, and pasta bolognese. It was very tasty. Not expensive, really reasonable prices. And Shus was the lovely Italian hostess who welcomed us and was very cordial and helpful. Highly recommended for those who visit Mount Feldberg!

We ate Black Forest for almost €6 per piece which was clearly too small. Fries were from the combi steamer, light and definitely not crispy. Coffee and other drinks were completely fine, and the service was also friendly and attentive!

Cheese spaetzle not recommended.

We loved coming here every winter and were always thrilled. This time the disappointment was great. Little choice and no flexibility, bland Bolognese, but the drinks were the worst: juice spritzers way too cold and completely tasteless... maybe made almost entirely of water? You couldn't drink it.

Unfortunately the price performance is not right. Despite there being few guests, the wrong food was served. The food is not seasoned and it tastes like it came from the freezer and was thawed.

The owner is no longer the same. We were there again today and were very disappointed. The service was very overwhelmed, one spoke German and the rest didn't understand a word. The quality was much better here and you had to wait half an hour for a table.

Schnitzel almost inedible and overpriced for the quality

We were guests in this house for the first time this afternoon. We immediately noticed that things were pretty hectic here and the staff seemed to be overworked. We had to wait almost 15 minutes before we could place an order. We opted for spagetti bolognese and a pork steak with the extra request of fries instead of the gnocchi. The Bolognese tasted very much like a meat broth and you had to look for the meat in the sauce. Twice I found a few pieces of cartilage or small pieces of bone that found their way into this sauce. Unfortunately, the pork steak was very dry and we didn't like the fries at all. We had the impression that the fries were stored at room temperature for too long before they were fried. Conclusion: You can definitely expect better cuisine in a ski resort. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend these two dishes.

Price performance is not justified. Hot chocolate (approx. €7) tasted very watery, mulled wine (approx. €8) seemed like a warmed-up finished product. The cakes are delicious but to be honest, I expected an 8€ apple strudel to be good. I cannot recommend the portion of fries (€5.50), nor the soft drinks (approx. €6) for 0.5l in a glass from the tap. Of course there are also positives: the atmosphere is nice, the restaurant is clean and there is a play area for children. In addition, the pizza maker was very friendly and nice.

You have to wait until the places are free. The citizens are quite large. The place is quite cozy. Always happy again.

Four of us had something to eat in the restaurant. 3 of us ordered fries & a currywurst fries. This was not brought even after repeated requests and so one of us left without food. We didn't get cutlery either. The fries were burnt. There was hardly any service either, everything was done quickly and it seemed like they were trying to get as many people through as possible. When we wanted to pay, we had to ask several times and were ignored.

Naja. Für was zu trinken ganz ok. Essen waren 2 Sterne. Tomatensosse der Kinder für die Nudeln war wässrig. Nudeln waren gut. Auf der Pinsa war zu viel Käse. Von daher war alles was darunter war geschmacklos. Der Teig war wiederum gut. Für den Preis aber alles in allem zu wenig. Die Bedienungen verbreiten einen Stress. Hab ich so auch noch nicht erlebt. Sie laufen, joggen schon fast durch das Restaurant. Der Ton ist eher angespannt, rau und das wirkt dann unfreundlich. Auch wenn sie das nicht sein wollen. Masse statt Klasse!

Esse ist OK, Bedienung ist stets bemüht wie man sagt und Atmosphäre war etwas kühl. Etwas kalt war es im Restaurant und in der Kegelbahnen hat es zu streng gerochen. Essensauswahl viel zu wenig und etwas teuer. 16€ Pisa Margarita mit Mozzarella

Wunderschön! Tolles Ambiente, sehr leckeres Essen. Für italienisches Flair sorgen auch die Wortfetzen aus der Küche. Für uns ein Zufallsfund, der den Tag versüßt hat!

Wir kommen nun schon 3 Jahre regelmäßig hierher essen. Die Inhaber sind echte Italiener, Originale, natürlich manchmal etwas lauter, aber nicht im Bösen. Die Qualität der Speisen ist sehr gut, die Portionen sehr groß, Sonderwünsche waren nie ein Problem. Preis/ Leistung passt.Ein sehr gutes und tolles Restaurant. Wir kommen jedes Jahr immer wieder sehr gerne. Das Ambiente ist Klasse.

Waren hier rundherum zufrieden- sehr leckerer Pizza und Pasta gegessen, freundlich bedient worden und schön in der Sonne gesessen. Der Cappuccino zum Schluss war 1a! Kommen definitiv wieder.

Leckere Lasagne und gute Pizza 😁 saßen draußen bei Sonnenschein nach einer langen Wanderung. Hat perfekt zum Ausklang gepasst. Essen kam schnell.

Im Großen und Ganzen ok. Aber ich bin der Meinung man will einfach und schnell geldverdienen. Keine Bierdeckel, das einheimische Bier im Krombacher Glas, Pizza 🍕 eher dürftig belegt, Salat Nizza ohne Zwiebeln und gekochtem Ei. Hat uns nicht so zugesagt. Personal ist freundlich, sehr gesprächig.

Unhöfliche Bedienung, vermutlich für viele negative Bewertungen verantwortlich. Leider wird das Problem vom Inhaber nicht geregelt - er nimmt offensichtlich die Unzufriedenheit der zahlenden Gäste in Kauf und lässt sich lieber das Image des Lokals versauen…

Der Betreiber hat uns sehr herablassend behandelt, das war wirklich unangenehm. Das Essen war okay aber nichts besonderes.

Ambiente ist nett. Service ging schnell und war io. Leider war das Mittagessen (Schnitzel und Nudeln für uns) nicht der Bringer. War essbar, aber echt nicht überragend. Hatte eher was von Fertigessen als von frischer Küche.

Pause auf einer Radtour hier gemacht lecker Milchkaffee und ein Vanilleeis mit Sahne gegönnt. Alles bestens !! SCHÖNE AUßENTERASSE

Sehr schlwchter service, sehr unhöflich und sehr undprofessionell. Lch rate davon nicht ab. Sie verwechselten uns mit leuten aus Barcelona. Waren aber trotzdem unhöflich.

Deco un peu kitch, risotto et soupe auxx asperges très bon, saucisse blanche grillée bof bof , bières très bonne, mais le vin rouge, aussi "épais" que la soupe, dommage...

Alles ok, außerhalb der Saison wenig los. Preise fürs Essen OK, aber für Getränke etwas überzogen.

Wir haben hier Kaffee getrunken und hatten Eisbecher und Kuchen bestellt. Der Kuchen war sehr lecker. Das Personal ist freundlich.

Bedienung sehr nett. Leider nicht so hinterher. Das Essen war nicht so gut und völlig überteuert.

Nagyon szuper hely, ajánlom mindenkinek, aki erre jár és jót akar enni vagy inni. Az alkoholmentes búzasör isteni, a feketeerdő torta is kiváló.

Personnel super sympa et pizza vraiment très savoureuse

Sehr kinder- und gastfreundlich, nettes Ambiente, Pizzen waren gut, aber etwas dürftig belegt. Preise gehoben. Spielbereich hat Kindern gut gefallen und für entspanntes Essen der Eltern gesorgt. Krombacher Bier und Maiselsweizen ist halt leider nicht so gut.

Seit vielen Jahren sind wir in den Skiferien hier am Feldberg und gehen immer wieder hier essen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich offen und herzlich. Auch ist es kein Problem die Hunde mitzunehmen. Die Pizzen sind sehr gut und riesig. Auch die Pasta und der Lachs ist zu empfehlen. Es gibt verschiedene Sitzgelegenheiten welche sehr bequem sind. Wir kommen gerne hierher. Preisleistung ist absolut ok.

Bestes Restaurant am Feldberg! Sehr zu empfehlen. Das Essen ist super lecker. Der Service ist großartig, sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich.

Hab mir ein Steak bestellt, es war saftig und gut gewürzt. Der Besitzer war auch extrem nett und hat gerne etwas mit uns gespaßt. War sehr gut meiner Meinung nach.

...den letzten schlechten Bewertungen anschließen. Wir sind mit schon nicht besonders hohen Erwartungen in ein solches Restaurant in einer Touristenhochburg gegangen, allerdings natürlich mit der Hoffnung, dass unsere typische deutsche Miese-Peterigkeit eines Besseren belehrt wird. Aller Zweckpessimismus half dieses Mal nicht und zwar aus folgenden Gründen. Es herrschte aufgrund des zugegebenen Gästeandrangs eine hohe Belastung beim Personal. Der unbestreitbare und anzuerkennende Streß wurde allerdings auf die Gäste übertragen. Herumrennendes Personal, laut und hektisch. Alles verkraftbar und für mich persönlich sogar verständlich und entschuldbar. Nur konnte das Wichtigste, die Speisen und Getränke die wirklich sehr hektische und wenig gemütliche Atmosphäre beim Besuch nicht im Ansatz wieder gut machen. Mein Chicken-Burger war trocken und das Brötchen alt. Ohne Übertreibung der schlechteste Burger, den ich bisher gegessen habe. Unfassbar schlecht. Das Putenschnitzel meines Juniors war keinen Deut besser, bekommt man so und oft besser an einer Imbissbude. Seine Apfelschorle hatte eigentlich nur die Farbe einer Schorle, war aber eigentlich reines Wasser, schmeckte sehr reduziert und verdünnt. Nun muss man bei einem Italiener nicht unbedingt erwarten, dass nichtitalienisches Essen perfekt schmeckt, okay. Aber mein üblicher Abschluss-Cappucino, ein Gradmesser für einen Italiener, war eine warme braune Wassersuppe mit Milchschaum...Katastrophe eines Cappuccino und noch viel schlimmer für mich, als der miese Burger. Das Getränk, welchem ich suchtmässig verfallen bin, hätte mich zum Ende milde stimmen können. Ich kann dieses Restaurant einfach nicht empfehlen, tut mir wirklich und ernsthaft leid, weil ich sehr selten wirklich nur die geringste Punktzahl vergebe.

Wir können hier leider keine gute Bewertung geben. Die Kellnerin total unfreundlich. Essen nicht frisch und was uns am meisten gestört hat, war ein Hund, der offenbar zum Restaurant gehörte, der stets allein herumspazierte, zum Teil sehr aggressiv gegenüber anderen Hund reagierte - niemand kümmerte sich um diesen Hund. Ein absolutes No Go.
