I was speechless at the conditions in this restaurant. My sister was there with her two toddlers, and the visit was anything but safe or pleasant. The play area was in a completely unacceptable state: parts of the walls were damaged, pipes were exposed, and screws were sticking out of the slide. For a place where children are supposed to play, this is absolutely irresponsible. Even worse: After eating, my sister became so ill that she had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance shortly after returning home. She was diagnosed with food poisoning. It's a frightening thought for us, because the children could have eaten the same food. Overall, an extremely disappointing and worrying visit. Something like this should never happen in a restaurant!

Our visit to Simit and More was a complete disappointment. There were five of us, and we paid €18.50 per person – for a quality that absolutely did not justify the price. The open buffet looked old and in some places even spoiled. Many dishes tasted like stale leftovers, for example, the small pieces of sausage, the various types of rice, and the dolma. There was no freshness to be found, even though we deliberately arrived early for dinner hoping to get something freshly prepared. The atmosphere was also unpleasant. The woman at the cash register was unfriendly, which made us feel unwelcome. Overall, the entire restaurant gave an unfriendly and poorly managed impression. For us, it was a disappointing visit and, unfortunately, a complete waste of money. We used to go there often and enjoyed it – even with 10-15 people. But after this experience, we cannot recommend the restaurant and will not be visiting again.

I was very pleasantly surprised today. After just a few minutes, I noticed something was different. The food was suddenly fantastic. No more greasy, soggy food. When I asked, I learned there was a new owner. That made everything clear to me. Lots of new dishes, fresh baked goods, the finest cheeses—wow! The soups taste incredibly delicious. Your staff wears gloves, handles money, then touches bread again, touches the dessert with their filthy, long nails while placing it in the box. I find this disgusting. Warn your staff, otherwise everyone will complain about you. I've called and warned you before, but you didn't care. Besides, if you're a little more cheerful, they'll know.

I went to the breakfast buffet there with my school friends – and unfortunately, it was one of the most unpleasant restaurant experiences I've ever had. Normally, you pay at the end in peace and quiet, but this time I was forced to pay for my drink immediately upon arrival, even though I had clearly stated that I wanted to eat from the buffet. While we were eating, staff members kept walking around our table, watching us and giving us strange looks. We felt like we were being treated differently because of our skin color. We weren't loud or disruptive at all. A friend wanted to get a roll, and suddenly they claimed I hadn't paid – even though I had intended to pay from the start. When I went to the cash register, another customer cut in line and was simply given priority, while I was ignored. Instead of the regular buffet price of €13.90, I was then charged €19, without any explanation. When I then wanted to get dessert, a staff member even yelled at me because I had taken a smaller plate. Again, I was accused of not having paid. Overall, the visit was very disrespectful and hurtful. My friends and I didn't feel welcome at all. No one should be treated like that.

Before I could even order, I was asked to pay immediately – even though I only wanted to use the restroom. I felt extremely pressured. When I returned and wanted to order a sandwich, I was again asked to pay upfront. My friends also had to pay immediately, and we felt constantly watched, as if we were being mistrusted. This feeling made the entire visit extremely uncomfortable. The sandwich didn't match my order, the service seemed chaotic, and employees were eating while working instead of standing at the counter. In the end, my friend was even falsely accused of not having paid. Looking at the reviews afterward, I noticed that several other guests had described similar negative experiences, which unfortunately confirmed my own impression. For me, the whole thing was disrespectful and unprofessional. In my opinion, the authorities should urgently inspect this establishment. I will definitely not be returning.

Everything was super fresh: bread, vegetables, hot and cold dishes, herb dips – all crisp and expertly prepared. A large, new selection – there's now more variety without feeling overwhelmed. Before the new owner, the food was often oily and tasteless, but today everything was absolutely perfect: harmonious flavors, perfectly seasoned, and freshly prepared. The service was friendly and attentive, the ambiance pleasant and modern. Highly recommended – I'll definitely be back!

I didn't really want to write this, but I've had enough. -Some of the staff are unfriendly. -Things are constantly missing, and when you ask for them, they say: "We don't have any." -I found a hair in my food at my last breakfast. Absolutely disgusting. I wouldn't even give it one star, but otherwise I can't post this.

I've never experienced anything so disgusting, even in the dirtiest supermarket. They served us squashed cig kofte (like vomited up) and a salad infested with flies and lice. When I asked for a refund, the lady on the phone couldn't answer because her German skills were apparently only enough to survive. The salad is cut and packaged by the staff themselves. How can they be so unhygienic that so many animals are littering there? Disgusting. And a refund isn't possible either. We've had this problem twice now, unbelievable.

We went to Smith & More for breakfast today – unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The offerings had little to do with breakfast: it seemed more like leftovers from the day before, and the tea tasted stale. The lady at the cash register (black hair, heavy makeup) was also very unfriendly; you feel anything but welcome. The atmosphere is unpleasant, and the service is awful. What's particularly annoying is that the prices are completely unjustified for the quality. Overall, unfortunately, this isn't a place we can recommend.

It was the biggest crap, we waited half an hour until we could eat, we asked them if there were any noodles or something, they said we don't accept any extra requests, there was also nothing proper to eat and no dessert either

The food – especially the cigkofte – is really good – at least what I've had so far. The saleswomen are usually very nice too. Today was different. Shortly after I arrived, five women wanted to pay their restaurant bills individually in cash. After taking my order, the somewhat unfriendly saleswoman turned to the five women to collect the money. One of the (very nice) women then said that I had been there first and that she should serve me first. The saleswoman hesitated for a moment, then told me that my order "would take a while," and then turned back to the women to continue collecting the money. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to wait. I left the store. Edit: Whether or not someone responds to my review using ChatGPT is actually irrelevant. However, I would at least try to make the response seem "genuine" by not copying and pasting all the options ChatGPT suggests as a response to a review. The requested time was 11:55 AM.

The order took two hours to arrive. They were very rude on the phone when I asked about my order. The fries were just like yesterday's, very soggy, and they skimped on ingredients, sometimes forgetting a dish. I'll never go there again, and I can't recommend it!

The smashburgers are okay. The doner kebab plate was a joke. It consisted of nothing but dry lumps of meat that didn't taste fresh and disgusting fries. There was no salad, even though the doner kebab plate costs €14 and is supposed to include it. The steak doner meat, which is supposed to be 100% beef, is probably a mislabeling. It tasted slightly cheesy and like breadcrumbs. Truly awful!!!

Today we had breakfast, it is really a super, very extensive and delicious breakfast buffet. The ladies are also very friendly and make something on the spot when it is finished. We will definitely come back!

Unfortunately, absolutely disappointing We went to this restaurant for an all-you-can-eat breakfast and were appalled by the conditions. While eating, we noticed the unhygienic appearance of the kitchen – the floor was black and muddy, and the walls showed clear signs of mold. There was no cleanliness at all. The food was neither fresh nor edible. Many dishes seemed stale, some even spoiled. The service was unfriendly and disinterested. Particularly off-putting: the staff gave the impression of being extremely unkempt. Overall, the visit was unfortunately an absolute disgrace. Hygiene and quality should be the top priority in the restaurant industry – but this was not the case here. We cannot recommend this restaurant in any way.

We were there for breakfast on Mother's Day. Everything was fresh and delicious. It was very nice to eat there.

I would prefer to give 0 stars. The employees are sometimes nice and then completely unfriendly. The Cig Köfte are getting hotter every day. If you order something to be delivered and something is not there. You get something else delivered to you without asking that you don't like at all. If you then complain, you will be told what else you should have done? For example, the order is canceled because certain things are not available. Then they get soggy even though they make the mistakes. Sorry? I enjoyed eating there for a while, but today was the last time.

Turkish delicacies for the palate? More like pure disappointment. Since the restaurant “Simit and more” was bought by other owners, the shop has become extremely bad. Starting with the staff - they are unfriendly, sometimes disrespectful and react aggressively to customers' requests. The ambience in the shop was bearable because I last visited the restaurant early in the morning. There were few people in the store, so the atmosphere was relatively calm. The open buffet, a disaster. There is no other term that fits this more. The food was not fresh even though the visit was early in the morning. In my opinion, some of the foods were even spoiled - e.g. the small sausages cut into pieces or the omelette - they were all covered in dark green spots and definitely didn't taste good. Clearly not a delicious breakfast. The lentil soup, which spoiled the appetite, tasted burnt to the extreme. In summary, the place is a non-hunger-satisfying, disgusting place where enjoyment dies. Logically, the visit will never be repeated again.

Super delicious food. I've been there several times for breakfast. There is an all-you-can-eat buffet (around €12 per person) and if necessary you can take fresh gözleme with you from the front, but this costs extra (from €4). Tea is included :)

Yesterday I was at a good friend's birthday party who invited people there. I only knew the place by hearing and was very excited. In terms of the ambience it was ok, if you expect a lot. The buffet was very unimaginative, which was very disappointing. The soup was much too thin, the meat was only lukewarm, dessert was cookies and chocolate pudding 🤷‍♀️ no fruit…. But what really amazed me is that a table for 40 people was reserved from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and at 5:30 p.m. there is no more dessert 🧐 what is that?? Ok, I'll just drink a coffee, not cups... I really don't want to offend you, but I hope that's not the rule! Think about it!

I often come to eat there with my family, The evening buffet is very tasty, good selection including drinks, water, ice tea, coffee and Turkish tea, the staff is always polite and willing to help, even with small children, which is why I don't understand some of the comments here, and we have been there several times, everything was always to our complete satisfaction, I can definitely recommend it, especially with the family.

We went there for breakfast today (Sunday), and several of us vomited several times that evening. We suspect it was the pasta with cream sauce and broccoli. It's sad to serve people bad food with a clear conscience! Very disappointing—we wouldn't recommend it, unfortunately.

We regularly go there for breakfast, or rather brunch, because Turkish breakfasts are very varied and hearty. Very clean space and the staff is friendly. Food is constantly replenished. All you can eat brunch costs 12.50 euros per person. Hot and cold drinks are included. You can rent the space for various occasions. There is a small garden outside. Parking spaces are a bit difficult to find. Addition/Update: Now there is also live music on some days. On certain evenings there are women's evenings. You pay 20 euros entry and have an open, varied buffet and a DJ plays music and you can dance among women until the night. There are dance competitions and singing competitions. It's really a lot of fun.

Today's food was pretty bad. I wish they hadn't changed the cook. There were too many customers, too few staff, the poor people couldn't keep up.

The food was really delicious. It contained everything you would hope for in a Turkish breakfast. However, it was a bit hectic at some points as the restaurant is also very large. It had something of an all-inclusive hotel buffet. But for 13 euros it was definitely a good deal.

I left the store with crutches and a torn ligament without eating because in the middle of the order my word was interrupted and I ran off to bring two drinks away. Pretty people are served faster here. The food has become more expensive again, although it's running like hot cakes. In addition, there are apparently fewer ingredients such as minced meat mixture and cheese in börek and pide. I enjoyed being a customer, but since then I can really do without it. It's bad enough to stand with two crutches

Unfortunately the visit was a big disappointment, even at a reasonable price of 13 euros per person. The meat dishes were cold and inedible, and the salad bar only consisted of pickled vegetables and olives - there was no fresh salad. The broccoli casserole was soggy and overcooked, which reinforces the impression that there are no trained chefs at work here. The selection at the buffet was overall very small and bland, and the taste was simply disappointing. For the money you can definitely order something better that is much higher quality and fresher. This buffet is really not worth it.

I was there earlier (August 15, 2024) and unfortunately I can only say one thing, horrible. Open buffet (breakfast) is not refilled and almost everything was cold. There is no service and you even have to clean up your dishes. The confectionery was just soggy. And all for 12€. Definitely NOT recommended.

We wanted to have breakfast at Simit and More today, Before that, I had often bought Börek, Gözleme and Pide at the counter and was very satisfied. Today we wanted to have breakfast and the food was not at all edible. The employees even admitted that the food was from the day before and before they threw it away it ended up at the breakfast buffet. I spoke to the owner and he said that this is normal and that you shouldn't have high expectations for a €13 breakfast. If you want food poisoning you are welcome to visit the store. I will definitely never visit this store again!!!

I ordered via Lieferando. The order simply didn't come. After a call they simply hung up and it wasn't until the third phone call that I was told that there was no delivery. The lady was totally unfriendly and I can't recommend ordering there.

You definitely have to go here, perfect for families. Very inconspicuous from the outside, we were pleasantly surprised after our visit. A buffet restaurant adjoins the bakery with Turkish baking specialties. Turkish breakfast is served here or, from late afternoon, warm meals. All you can eat at fair prices - children up to a certain age are even free. The selection is varied and the play area, which can be clearly seen from almost all tables, is a source of joy for children and parents.

Nice buffet. I am new to Mülheim and have been going there once every week or two for the last three months. First of all the food is really good. No complaints in that area. The only complaint is no mention of what is what. Keeping a nameplate for food choices would make everyone's life easy. Desert means just a single/ two types of sweet :D it would had been better if real desert was there. Drinks include water and apple juice. Once too much sugar was added and other times too little for the apple juice. Starter soup is ok. Despite little drawbacks this is the best you can get for a 13€ buffet anywhere.

You can sit there very well with children or larger groups and stay longer. They have a play area for children, a changing table and a small garden area. The buffet is delicious. We like coming there. Is also easy to reach by tram.

Super delicious breakfast. Not overpriced and not an exaggerated buffet. There is everything that goes with a Turkish breakfast. What I like best is the children's play area. You can have a relaxed breakfast while the children are busy.

The location is inconspicuous from the outside like a normal Turkish bakery but as the name suggests: "Simit & more" the depth of cultural Turkish cuisine unfolds inside. The choice whether you want Bürek, Simit or Baklava to take away or you can treat yourself to a balanced breakfast at the buffet. There is plenty on offer, from Simit flatbread to delicious salads and dips, hearty scrambled eggs with and without sucuk, warm potatoes, beans and of course something for the sweet taste. Drinks like cai and coffee to soda. Overall, very appetizing in a lovely atmosphere. There is also a warm afternoon buffet which we haven't tried yet but will definitely do. I'm looking forward to my next visit here. And my palate first 😉

Ordered via Lieferando and apparently the order was not handed over to the restaurant according to Simit & More. I talked to three different people and it was a mess. According to the restaurant, I was supposed to cancel the order because it wasn't being delivered, so I did. After an hour I got a call and like a miracle the order arrived and could then be delivered. But since I canceled the order as requested by the restaurant, I no longer receive it. Very unorganized and also not customer-oriented in any way.

The place is cozy, clean, and spacious. Breakfast was pretty good, although I miss water (cold) and juices. It would also be nice to add eggs to the buffet (boiled or fried). Otherwise price/quality quite good. And friendly staff.

The employees should be taught manners and friendliness towards customers, we still live here in Germany. Been there twice for lunch, both disasters! 3 choices of food, fries and salad. No desserts, no fruit. Breakfast YES, lunch DEFINITELY NO.

Wir waren zum Abendbuffet da. Das Essen schmeckte gut, die Auswahl für den günstigen Preis sehr angemessen: Es gab Suppe, Salate, verschiedene Pasten, Brote und Börek uvm. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, aber unterbesetzt. Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn die Speisen beschriftet worden werden. Eine meiner Gäste mochte gar kein Lamm und hatte direkt am Anfang Lammfleisch erwischt. Das hatte ihr dann den ganzen Abend verdorben. Mit einem Schildchen wäre das nicht passiert. Auch könnte man anfangs darauf hinweisen, dass niemand abräumt, so weiß man vorher schon, dass man wie bei Kantinen selbst dafür zuständig ist. Die Abräumstation ist zudem relativ versteckt. Bei den Tischen wäre ein Signalbutton sinnvoll, sodass man den Service bei Bedarf rufen könnte, wenn Zusätzliches wie spezielle Getränke oder Kuchen/Gebäck aus der Bäckerei haben möchte. Leider waren Tee und Kaffee aus den Spenderbehältern nur noch halbwarm und der Tee bereits sehr bitter (trotz Verdünnung mit Wasser und Zucker). Das Frühstück soll besser sein. Testen wir gerne aus, denn wie gesagt, die Qualität der Speisen war gut 👍

Es gibt keinen besseren Laden in Styrum. Essen cok Güzel!! Alles aus eigener Herstellung und es gibt nichts, was da nicht schmeckt. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist auf jeden Fall gerechtfertigt. Egal, ob too good to go , Selbstauswahl im Laden oder Frühstück und Mittagsbuffet bis in den Abend. Es wird immer frisch nachgekocht und das Ambiente sehr schön. Hier könnt ihr egal, ob deutsch, türkisch, afrikanisch oder asiatisch, hier könnt ihr mit Freunden und Familie sehr günstig für 13€ ALL YOU CAN EAT den Bauch vollschlagen. Vorne ist die Bäckerei und weiter durch kommt ihr zum Buffet.

Waren heute zum 1. Mal dort Frühstücken.Die Auswahl ist gut und lecker. Was mir fehlte waren Salz und Pfeffer auf dem Tisch, warme gekocht Eier und evtl. Körnerbrot oder. Brötchen. Aber für 12;- kommen wir gerne wieder!

Ich finde das Frühstücksbuffet toll, weil auch die Speisen wechseln. Preislich absolut fair und alle sind immer super freundlich👍❤️.....finde nur als einzige Kritik, das der Essbereich etwas moderner und gemütlicher sein könnte.

Sehr unscheinbar von außen. Wenn man rein geht, ist es sehr groß mit sehr vielen Sitzplätzen. Große Auswahl, alles schmeckt ok und es ist sauber. Ist auf jeden Fall eine Option. Beschriftung der Sachen wäre nicht verkehrt. Backwaren besonders gut, da gleichzeitig eine türkische Bäckerei.
