Istanbul Fish & Steak House in Mülheim an der Ruhr

1 Stern ist noch zu viel. Die Preise sind völlig überteuert. Ein Adana Kebap kostet 20 €, enthält aber viel zu wenig. Besonders schockierend war der Preis für eine Flasche Wasser ca. 1 Liter, 7,50 €, eine kleine Tsatziki portion 5.50€. Lieber in einem Dönerladen oder bei McDonald’s essen als in diesem Restaurant. Wer dieses Restaurant besucht wird höchstwahrscheinlich enttäuscht sein.

„Geschmacklich war das Essen wirklich sehr gut. Die Portionen waren zwar etwas klein, aber der Geschmack blieb mir lange im Mund – ein großes Lob an den Koch! Leider kann ich das vom Service nicht behaupten. Obwohl ich mehrmals Blickkontakt mit den Kellnern aufnahm und darauf hinwies, dass ich auf die Speisekarte und die Bedienung wartete, hatte ich den Eindruck, dass sie in ein Gespräch an einem anderen Tisch vertieft waren und mich ignorierten, obwohl sie mich sahen. Die lange Wartezeit war zudem sehr ärgerlich. Trotz des köstlichen Essens hat mich diese mangelnde Aufmerksamkeit enttäuscht, und allein deshalb werde ich wohl nicht wiederkommen. Daher vergebe ich nur einen Stern.“

Es war wunderbar, vielen Dank für alles! Ich war mit meinen Freunden dort, das Restaurant und das Essen waren fantastisch, aber vor allem Herr Umut, der uns bedient hat, war ein sehr netter Mensch. Er war sofort und in jeder Hinsicht hilfsbereit, der Service war erstklassig. Vielen Dank, Herr Umut, wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!

Wir waren heute im Fish Restaurant und sind sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war frisch, lecker und schön angerichtet. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm und man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt. Ein besonderes Lob geht an unseren Kellner Umut. Er war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hat sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert. Immer wieder gerne im Istanbul Fisch und Steakhouse, das Essen und die Qualität hebt sich deutlich von vielen Konkurrenten ab. Es ist jedesmal eine Freude den Umut, unseren liebsten Kellner zu sehen. Es ist wiederholt ein wunderschöner Abend gemeinsam mit meinen Freundinnen. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen 💐

Leider hat das Restaurant mit dem, wie es früher mal gewesen war, nichts mehr zu tun. Das Essen der Service waren eine Vollkatastrophe. Obwohl das Restaurant minimal besucht war, schien es, dass die Kellner komplett überfordert waren. Unser Fisch war roh, die Vorspeisen alt und nicht mehr frisch. Es war alles ungewollt und kalt. Also, ich könnte noch einen ganzen Roman schreiben, aber das reicht, glaube ich. Wir waren wirklich enttäuscht.

Ein blitzsauberer Ort, an dem man sich wie in der Türkei fühlt. Das Essen und die Vorspeisen sind unglaublich lecker, das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Restaurant liegt Recht unscheinbar und parken ist nicht ganz so einfach. Dafür aber ein schöner Wintergarten. Optisch eher ein bisschen wie ein Schnellrestaurant. Ist aber alles gar kein Problem, dass Essen ist super lecker und ausreichend zum Satt werden. Daher auf jeden Fall gerne wieder

Wir wollten dort Fisch essen, aber die Auswahl war begrenzt. Abgesehen vom Fischrestaurant und dem Steakhaus hatte das Lokal eher eine urige Kneipenatmosphäre. Es gab eine große Auswahl an Meze (Vorspeisen), die uns am Tisch präsentiert wurden. Wir wollten auf der Terrasse sitzen, aber viele Tische waren reserviert, und selbst als wir ankamen, waren die meisten leer. Das Personal, das sich ständig umsah und unterhielt, wirkte störend. Insgesamt hat es mir nicht besonders gefallen.

Waren heute mit der Familie essen habe mir Seezunge bestellt und der Kellner kivanc hat uns super bedient und hat uns die Gräten beim Fisch raus gemacht. Top Service immer wieder gerne

Der Service war unfreundlich und eher kühl. Die Portion war klein und nicht sättigend. Außerdem ist keine Kartenzahlung möglich.

Bei meinem ersten Besuch war ich wirklich begeistert, der Salat als Vorspeise und auch die Beilagen waren sehr lecker. Gestern war ich allerdings etwas enttäuscht: Die Vorspeise, Knoblauchbrot und die Beilage konnten geschmacklich nicht ganz überzeugen. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich jedoch den Fisch, der war auf jeden Fall sehr lecker. Ich finde, ein Restaurant sollte konstant die gleiche Qualität bieten.

Hallo 4,6 Sterne Bewertung?! Da fragt man sich ja glatt woher die ganzen Bewertungen kommen ? Also der laden befindet sich mitten in einem Kreisverkehr?! Parkplätze ?! Kaum vorhanden ?! Ambiente location... zu klein der laden Kommen wir zum Essen gemischte Grill Teller war die größte Enttäuschung in meinem Leben?! Habe so einen mitkriegen Teller noch nie zuvor gesehen ... haben den Kellner gefragt ob er die hälfte vergessen :)?! Fischteller 25 € auch viel zu wenig Inhalt... 1 garnele drauf :D also wir haben zusammen für den Tisch über 300 euro bezahlt... ich wurde noch nie so dermaßen enttäuscht was essen betrifft einfach die reinste Katastrophe! Mein lieber älterer Bruder, der schon seit zehn Jahren regelmäßig hierherkommt, hat mich mitgenommen. Dank ihm hatte ich die Gelegenheit, das Essen zu probieren. Das solltest du unbedingt auch tun! Wir waren zweimal die Woche da. Es war wirklich köstlich.

Wir sind aufgrund der Bewertungen hierhergekommen und ich muss sagen, es hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Die Preise waren fair, der Service war top, das Personal äußerst aufmerksam. Schon zu Beginn wurden uns Vorspeisen und Beilagen an den Tisch gebracht, unsere Hauptspeisen kamen anschließend zügig. Alles war wirklich hervorragend zubereitet und geschmacklich top. Besonders positiv fand ich, dass uns nach dem Essen zwei Tees serviert wurden, ohne dass wir etwas dafür bezahlen mussten, eine wirklich nette Geste. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war angenehm, die Musik nicht zu laut, sodass man sich gut unterhalten konnte. Alles in allem hat es mir sehr gefallen. Ich kann Istanbul's Fish & Steakhouse in Mülheim an der Ruhr nur wärmstens empfehlen, ich werde definitiv wiederkommen. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Serviceteam.

A fish dies, so why do we eat it? But how can you kill a fish even more? Go eat here and you'll see. The poor fish dies, then give it the dignity of fulfilling its final task. The whole meal was bad, all the money wasted on such a place. Better to go to a chip shop, get a ketchup and mayo, and be done with it. I can understand why this place has such bad reviews; it's absolutely terrible.

We went to this restaurant today – my husband, our four children, and I. We had reserved a table for today yesterday. We all ordered grilled dishes. At other Turkish restaurants, we're used to the dips (meze) being automatically brought to the table and included in the price. However, at this restaurant, it was completely different: After we ordered, the server came with a large tray full of various dips and explained that we could choose some. I assumed that these – as is usually the case – were part of the grilled dish, so I selected a few. Unfortunately, when the food arrived, the service became very poor. While we were still eating, the server kept coming to the table to take individual plates. I was the last one to finish eating, and even then, he wanted to clear and clean the entire table. This was very disruptive and rude, because as a guest, you want to be left in peace while eating. The table should only be cleared once you've relaxed and indicated that you've finished. When the food arrived, the server was very rude. We had expected the bill to be around €180, including two cups of sütlaç for dessert. However, we were actually charged €250. Were the dips added on even though it wasn't mentioned beforehand that they weren't included? If so, they definitely ripped us off. We were very disappointed with the whole experience. We certainly won't be returning to this restaurant.

I had steak Turkish delight today – and what can I say? It was an absolute highlight. The meat was incredibly tender, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. Truly one of the best Turkish delight steaks I've ever eaten. Special praise goes to Kemal: He took excellent care of me from start to finish. Attentive, friendly, and with a genuine passion for good food. You can immediately tell that he loves his job and knows what he's doing. His recommendation for the steak was spot on! My student friends and I used to come here to visit our dear Kıvanç Abi, who works at this establishment. We'd had a few unpleasant experiences, but as I mentioned, we still came here to see him, thanks to his encouragement. Today, as we entered the establishment again, we greeted the waiter at the entrance. He didn't acknowledge our greeting, so we left, never to return. You're not business owners.

For us, it's one of the best restaurants in the area – a delight every time.

Unfortunately, it's not what it used to be. The steak arrived swimming in oil and was as tough as shoe leather. They've just become incredibly stingy lately. Whether it's the bread, the dips, or the salad, there simply wasn't enough for our large group. That was definitely our last visit.

We've been eating very well there for years. We keep going back.

We've been going to this place intermittently for the last 5 years... The taste and the quality of the place are top notch, but the waiter and service history have left us wanting... There was one waiter in particular who we missed... We apologize for not remembering her name... Crowds shouldn't be used as an excuse when requesting a table, as it would be a cliché response when there's a delay... My humble advice for current colleagues... As a guest, I shouldn't repeat my request at the table three times... just to get my order.

If I had to, I would give 0 stars. I almost got an elbow in the face. We ordered the prime rib, and we wanted it medium, but it was cooked better. We also ordered fish, and they cleared the table before we were even finished. We will NEVER go there again.
