⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ich habe kürzlich das Hähnchen-Shawarma-Sandwich probiert und es war einfach köstlich! Das Hähnchen war saftig, zart und perfekt gewürzt. Die Kombination aus Harissa, Hummus und Knoblauchsauce ergab einen vollmundigen und authentischen Geschmack, der jeden Bissen zu einem Genuss machte. Das frische Gemüse sorgte für einen tollen Biss und rundete die Aromen perfekt ab. Alles schmeckte frisch und war hervorragend zubereitet. Eines der besten Shawarma-Sandwiches, die ich je in München gegessen habe. Absolut empfehlenswert, und ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Shawarma Hähnchen ist nicht am Spieß sondern gegrillt. Vermutlich bessere Qualität weil sie Hähnchenbrust braten, aber schmeckt halt nicht so viel nach Shawarma, kann man nicht so nennen. Rest vom Dürum ok aber alles etwas geschmacklos. Service aber nett und Falafel auch wirklich gut. Glaube, man sollte für die Falafel kommen, aber nicht für die anderen Sachen.

Ich war eine Zeit lang fast wöchentlich im Sim Sim (bzw. im Saimen, das jetzt ja das Sim Sim von gegenüber ist und wusste auch, dass die Läden zusammen gehören) Ich habe immer Falafel oder Seitan-Döner gegessen, fand es jedes Mal extrem lecker und habe es vielen weiterempfohlen. Die Mitarbeiter im Saimen waren auch immer sehr nett. Der Seitan-Döner war meiner Meinung nach einer der besten in München, wenn nicht sogar der Beste. Das Brot war lecker, man durfte die Soßen (zwei) und auch, was an Gemüse in den Döner sollte, selbst aussuchen. Es hat einfach alles gestimmt. Heute habe ich nach längerer Zeit mal wieder einen Seitandöner (bzw. nun Seitan-Sandwich) im jetzigen Sim Sim gegessen und war extrem enttäuscht. Das Brot ist jetzt anders und schmeckt meiner Meinung nach nicht mehr so lecker. Die Soßen (durfte man nicht selber aussuchen) haben mir persönlich nicht geschmeckt und das Gemüse (Auberginen, Zucchini, Paprika?) war einfach nur sehr fettig. Die Tomatenscheiben haben für mich sehr seltsam geschmeckt (irgendwie in Richtung fischig). Der Seitan war auf jeden Fall okay, die eingelegten Rettichstücke lecker. Der Preis lag früher bei 6 Euro, nun bei 8 Euro. Ist auch vollkommen verständlich, da die Preise insgesamt angestiegen sind. Fände ich auch nicht weiter tragisch, wenn Qualität und Geschmack weiterhin stimmen würden. Ich würde mich wirklich sehr freuen, wenn der Seitan-Döner bald wieder so lecker und frisch schmecken würde wie zuvor.

Früher hat man sich noch Mühe gegeben, mit Minze und Granatapfelkernen. Jetzt ist das Falafel-Sandwich trocken und langweilig. Und teurer! Ziemliche Enttäuschung.

Der Geschmack ist furchtbar und der Preis unverschämt. Ich wollte ein Doppelsandwich und sie verlangten 9 Euro. Es war mit Salat gefüllt, und als ich nach Amba (eingelegten Mangos) fragte, gab es keins. Ich bestellte Auberginen, und sie sagten, ich müsse einen Euro extra bezahlen. Ich bezahlte, und sie gaben mir kalte Auberginen, die nicht mal ein Hund essen würde. Das Falafel-Sandwich kostet jetzt 10 Euro, obwohl die Steuern gesenkt wurden. Der Preis sollte niedriger sein, aber Araber sind nie zufrieden. Das war das letzte Mal, dass ich dieses Restaurant betreten habe. Es ist Abzocke, und der Geschmack ist widerlich. Normalerweise bewerte ich Restaurants nicht, vor allem nicht arabische, aber was mir heute passiert ist, war einfach nur ekelhaft und beschämend. Wenn man Geld verlangt, sollte man auch Qualität liefern. Mit freundlichen Grüßen.

Mein Freund hat mich hierher mitgenommen, weil er meinte, es gäbe dort die besten Falafel in ganz München, und er hatte Recht. Ich komme aus Mexiko, und diese Art von Essen ist hier schwer zu finden, daher bin ich keine Expertin, aber ich kann sagen, dass dieses Restaurant so gut war, dass ich innerhalb von zwei Wochen schon zweimal dort war.

Fleisch hat leider zu Magenschmerzen geführt. Davon abgesehen ist auffällig, dass innerhalb der letzten zwei Wochen 24 5-Sterne-Bewertungen von neuen Accounts mit nur einer Rezension gegeben wurden. Sollten es sich dabei um Fake-Rezensionen handeln, wäre das eine unfaire Wettbewerbsverzerrung gegenüber den zahlreichen anderen Schnellrestaurants in der Gegend. Nachtrag auf Antwort des Inhabers: Meine Magenprobleme nach dem Besuch bei euch haben sich leider alles andere als fake angefühlt. Und zu den Rezensionen: Die Namen der Accounts tragen teilweise sogar denselben Namen und einige der Rezensionen sind ganz offensichtlich mit KI geschrieben worden

Ich war inzwischen schon öfter bei Simsim Falafel in München und bin jedes Mal sehr zufrieden. Während der Klausurenphase an der TUM verbringe ich den ganzen Tag in der Bibliothek und brauche ein schnelles, gutes Mittagessen – hier werde ich immer fündig. Ich bestelle eigentlich jedes Mal die Shawarma Box für 11 €, und sie macht perfekt satt. Danach fühlt man sich nicht schwer, sondern einfach gut, und man merkt, dass die Qualität stimmt. Gerade wenn man den ganzen Tag lernt, ist das genau das Richtige. Die Jungs im Laden sind außerdem immer super freundlich. Ich war die letzten drei Tage sogar jeden Tag dort. Für mich mittlerweile eine feste Anlaufstelle – absolut empfehlenswert.

Essen ist grundsätzlich gut, deshalb war ich inzwischen schon viermal dort.Leider stimmt der Service überhaupt nicht: Bei 3 von 4 Besuchen war meine Bestellung unvollständig. Zweimal habe ich es erst zu Hause bemerkt, einmal sogar direkt im Laden – dort wusste man bereits, dass etwas vergessen wurde, trotzdem musste ich erst diskutieren, damit es neu gemacht wird. Was mich am meisten stört: Es gibt kaum eine Entschuldigung oder ein echtes Entgegenkommen. Man hat als Kunde das Gefühl, ständig kontrollieren zu müssen, ob wirklich alles in der Tüte ist. Schade, denn das Essen ist gut – aber der Service und die Zuverlässigkeit sollten dringend verbessert werden.

Der Falafelteller mit Haloumi sieht rein optisch wirklich gut aus, mit originalen Falafeln hat es geschmacklich aber um ehrlich zu sein sehr wenig zu tun. Der Hummus war gut. Empfehlung: Eher zum mitnehmen bestellen, wenn man nicht selbst nach einer falafel riechen möchte. Der Service aber sehr nett!

Die Portion war angemessen groß und die Zutaten wirkten frisch, geschmacklich hat es mich jedoch nicht überzeugt. Das Ambiente empfand ich als wenig einladend, ich habe mich dort leider nicht wohlgefühlt, was mir sonst eher leichtfällt. Zudem wirkte alles etwas schlampig und die Atmosphäre hatte für mich eine raue, teilweise unterschwellig aggressive Stimmung.

Geschmackloser Falafel-Wrap, schlecht gewürzt, kaum gesalzen und zähes Fladenbrot. Hummus langweilig, Gemüse nicht gewürzt, kein Hauch von Frische in diesem Wrap. Ich wurde nicht gefragt was drauf soll, die scharfe Soße hat Geschmacklich immerhin noch etwas geboten. Alles in allem ein seeeehr enttäuschendes Erlebnis!

Schade, hatte eigentlich mehr erhofft bei solch guten Bewertungen wirklich nettes Personal, aber die falafel waren nicht so gut und das Sandwich allgemein wurde ohne Liebe zubereitet wenig Soße und allgemein leider nicht ein Geschmack Explosion. Trotzdem weiterhin viel Erfolg und ich hoffe einfach, dass sich an den Falafel etwas ändert.

Der wichtigste Punkt zuerst: die Falafel sind hervorragend. Außen knusprig, innen saftig/fluffig. Auch alles drumherum hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Allerdings ist das Lokal nicht allzu einladend, wenn man vor Ort essen möchte, es gibt auch keine Toilette für die Kunden (trotz Nachfrage), es war auch relativ kalt zum Sitzen (-5 Grad Außentemperatur ungefähr). Der Service war okay, aber nichts Besonderes. Eher Selbstbedienung. To-Go gerne wieder, vor Ort essen eher nicht. Leider gab es an diesem Tag auch keinen Seitan, sehr schade!

Die Falafel war ehrlich gesagt nicht besonders gut, ziemlich geschmacklos. Ich würde sie nicht noch einmal essen, aber ich habe gehört, dass die anderen Gerichte recht gut sein sollen.

Super lecker und preiswert. Ich hatte ein Seitan Sandwich mit Falafel und Gemüse. Super leckere Zutaten, wie Granatapfel, Süßkartoffel, Zucchini und Aubergine und vieles mehr. Nur zu empfehlen!

I had a seitan sandwich for €7, and it was incredibly delicious. The ingredients were all super fresh, the sandwich was crispy, the portions were generous, and the food was beautifully presented with a variety of delicious sauces. They really put a lot of effort into this place. The service was also very friendly, and the ambiance was perfectly acceptable for a quick snack.

Unfortunately, the price has gotten a bit expensive, but the taste is still top-notch.

I was also totally disappointed. I got a Falafel Dürüm with vegetables. The shop smells extremely greasy when you walk in, and it doesn't look that clean either. I don't think it matters at all whether they're busy. I know other shops that are just as busy and always look good. The falafel tasted great; the vegetables consisted primarily of lettuce, two or three tomatoes, and fried eggplant. The grease tasted old. I was only in the shop for a short time, and my clothes and everything still smell of grease. I miss the fresh taste and the sauces, like sesame or maybe a different sauce. Then the rolled and already wrapped falafel is placed between the grill with the aluminum foil on it - that's not acceptable. I'll gladly follow the shop's advice and go somewhere else. I don't understand the hype at all.

We got falafel plate it is very filling and delicious. Very tasty, crunchy, fresh falafel. They don’t have a nice place to sit, I wish they had better tables or outside area to sit.

Ich war über längere Zeit ein treuer Kunde von Simsim Falafel, künftig werde ich das Lokal jedoch bewusst meiden. Der Grund ist ein inakzeptables Verhalten seitens des Inhabers: Nachdem ich ein Lime-Fahrrad ordnungsgemäß auf dem Gehsteig, mit ausreichend Abstand zum Eingang und ohne jemanden zu blockieren, abgestellt hatte (öffentlicher Raum), stürmte ein Mann aus dem Laden, der sich als Inhaber zu erkennen gab, und sprach mich in einem Tonfall an, der jeder Form von Höflichkeit entbehrte. Mit einem aggressiven „Komm her!“ – als ob er mit einem Hund sprechen würde, wurde ich zurechtgewiesen. Das war nicht nur unangemessen, sondern schlicht respektlos.

I had a falafel and vegetable plate for €11.50. It was beautifully presented, but lacked flavor. The dürüm came from a bag. Overall, it was okay, but I won't be coming back because it's simply too tasteless and expensive for the price.

The seitan wrap was completely dry, without any sauce, and they didn't even ask if you wanted it spicy. The wrap was store-bought, not homemade, and I was really very disappointed. The chicken shawarma was also good. There are two shops opposite each other with the same name. Both are branches of the same.

Very disappointing – never again! The quality of the food was very poor. The whole place smelled strongly of burnt oil – you wonder how long the oil in the fryer had been in use. I ordered two large portions of falafel to go and politely asked for a small bag. Instead of a regular bag, I was rudely handed an old, crumpled paper bag. The staff was extremely rude and unfriendly. We also had stomach aches after eating there. Definitely the last time for us!

One of the most generous portions you can get in all of Munich! The falafel halloumi sandwich in particular is simply great – absolutely recommended. I've always been here at lunchtime, and although it's often full then, you can get your food quickly, pay by card and, if it's free, sit comfortably in the two seats. A clear recommendation if you are in the area and looking for good, filling food!

I visited this Outlet both in-person and through online ordering, and unfortunately, I was left a bit disappointed each time. The food is average, it doesn’t really stand out in terms of flavor. The portion sizes, especially for the price, were quite small, leaving me still hungry after my meal. Additionally, I was surprised that they don’t offer some typical Mediterranean staples like tzatziki or baba ganoush, which are usually included at most places. Whether dining in or ordering online, it felt like the experience was just average, and I expected a bit more in terms of both taste and value.

Best Falafel in Munich! Great prices as well

We used to pre-order to the office here a lot, but for the last 6 to 9 months it's been a bit of a gamble as to whether the order won't be rejected (because the order wasn't accepted within 15 minutes) or simply canceled shortly before the actual delivery time. Unfortunately, this happens in 90-95% of orders. Every time we called, the response was unfriendly. Unfortunately, things aren't any better on site. It seems as if the employees don't really enjoy what they're doing. It's no longer possible to eat something that's actually good if it's so awkward and unfriendly every time.

We went to the restaurant last summer because it was/is rated well overall. Unfortunately, we were treated incredibly disrespectfully, which meant that the overall impression was negative. The food was ok. We won't go there anymore.

A small vegetarian deli near the University makes it a popular spot for students. Not a lot of seating available inside the restaurant but the food is definitely worth the takeaway. The price of the dishes compared to the portion and the quality is so great especially in Munich. Ordered the Falafel box with Halloumi and had to get some of it packed cause I couldn’t finish it.

Simply a great shop! I was here several times years ago for lunch to go and again today. The falafel sandwich with halloumi and vegetables is highly recommended. Ingredients are fresh and tasty - service is also great, my order was even brought out to me with a friendly smile as I listened to the shout outside. The only point of criticism: I remember that there used to be zucchini in the vegetable mix and I think I can also remember a few pomegranate seeds - that made the whole thing a whole lot more interesting in terms of taste. :)

We ordered falafel sandwich with grilled vegetables and falafel sandwich halloumi (both large) via Wolt. The food is completely tasteless and unseasoned. I didn't taste any of the grilled vegetables for 3/4 of the sandwich. I was also pretty dry. Absolutely no recommendation.

When I took napkins I was bluffed that there were too many. If you pay €8 for a falafel togo, I just thought that three super thin cloths would be included in the price. I had a large falafel sandwich with grilled vegetables. It's more of a wrap than a sandwich, but still very tasty. The grilled vegetables are nice and soft, the fresh vegetables are crunchy. The falafel are also super tasty and not too dry. Price unbeatable. Gladly again.
