Dire che Sicula Bar è un posto dove prodotti di ottima qualità sono preparati con amore sarebbe riduttivo. Sicula Bar è questo, ma è anche molto di più. È un posto dove si respira Sicilia, dove proprietari e personale ti coccolano e ti fanno sentire a casa, dove incontri sempre qualcuno con cui chiacchierare mentre ti godi un ottimo cocktail. Insomma è un posto dove il buon cibo attira delle belle persone!

To say that Sicula Bar is a place where excellent quality products are prepared with love would be an understatement. Sicula Bar is this, but it is also much more. It is a place where you can breathe Sicily, where owners and staff pamper you and make you feel at home, where you always meet someone to chat with while enjoying an excellent cocktail. In short, it is a place where good food attracts good people!

Warm and friendly staff, like being with family.. the cuisine is special and delicious.. fresh ingredients coming directly from Sicily.. the cocktails are discoveries for conversation.. super recommended

I had ordered a vegetarian platter. 13€ you think wow what a price, then you get a cutting board with 6 mini but really mini pieces of cheese, 2 slices of grilled courgettes, 2 of aubergine, 4 lupins, 2 slices of dried tomatoes. I felt really bad about it.

I respond to the owner's comment: We hadn't finished eating/drinking. We were asked to leave and then, of course, asked for the bill. We would have definitely ordered another drink if we hadn't been forced to leave. If, as you said, the table can only be occupied for an hour and a half, this must be clarified BEFORE and not while people are at the table consuming! No. Very little choice of drinks and food, they then literally kicked us out because some customers who were inside also wanted to stay outside but we hadn't finished and would have liked to order something else, which obviously we didn't do. There is much better in Berlin!

Unwelcoming staff: even though my friends and I had ordered more drinks and some sandwiches, they literally kicked us out, even though we hadn't finished consuming the things ordered, to give our table to other guests. The alternative was to move inside... But with the heat these days, I don't go to a club to stay inside. The table was not reserved (I want to clarify this) and I have never seen anything like this, neither in Italy nor in Germany. The choice of drinks and food was very limited. Among other things, I asked for a Sicilian lemonade (I thought it was an artisanal, typical Sicilian lemonade), and they brought me a chinotto 😀. Not recommended place, also because education comes first.

Personale poco accogliente: nonostante che io e i miei amici avessimo ordinato piu bevande e qualche panino, ci hanno letteralmente cacciato, anche se non avevamo finito di consumare le cose ordinate, per dare il nostro tavolo ad altri ospiti. L'alternativa era trasferirsi dentro... Ma con il caldo di questi giorni, non vado in un locale per star dentro. Il tavolo non era riservato (ci tengo a precisarlo) e una roba così non l'ho mai vista, ne in Italia, ne in Germania. La scelta delle bevande e dei cibi era molto limitata. Tra le varie cose ho chiesto una limonata sicula (pensavo fosse una limonata artigianale, tipica siciliana), e mi hanno portato un chinotto 😀. Locale sconsigliato, anche perché l'educazione é la prima cosa.

The pricing is not clear. We ordered antipasti and olives and instead of 15€ we paid about 25€. Would be helpful if the menu or the service precise the prices otherwise it's confusing.

I went last week for an aperitivo with a friend. We had two beers and one medium vegetarian aperitivo with some bread on the side.It wasn’t the first time going to Sicula. I always come back cause the atmosphere is friendly and professional and the food is good. Highly recommended.

Waited 35-40 minutes for a cheese plate, no waiter came to take our order. We had to specifically contact the cellar to be able to place our order. The ambience was nice, but the service was unfortunately very poor. I won't come back.

Nice food, not outstanding. Really shocking service. Slow and rude.

Till now (25.05.2024) most closed to Italian style espresso and/or ristretto, which I’ve looked around in Berlin. So I should probably soon or later testing and tasting their dishes too. Based on my experience with their ristretto their foods should be good and/or almost “real” Italian too. +They have another location, which is named “Sicula Shop” and not so far from this place.

Small little Italian restaurant with delicious eating options and good prices. I recommend getting the vegetarian plate with their Pinot Grigio. (The wine is a bit expensive, as expected, but great in taste). The staff was lovely and I liked the cozy atmosphere inside the small restaurant. Do recommend for a nice dinner date with the fam, your bestie or really anyone you want 😄

I have organized here my farewell from Berlin because I wanted to say goodbye to my friends with something representing the place I was born. If you want an authentic atmosphere and tipical food from Sicily, this is the right place! Food is delicious and among the drinks, I highly recommend Amara Sour

A nice little café with tasty ice cream and friendly service. The vegetarian lasagna for 13€, filled with potatoes(?), is definitely pushing it price wise though. It's better to stick with the ice cream and cake.

Small, sweet Italian restaurant with very good food and nice service staff who don't speak German completely fluently. We had the bruscetta, really excellent.

I used to live close there. It is a charming Sicilian bar placed in a calm street at the Friedrischain. I love going there in the afternoon to enjoy a cold beer and some Italian finger food made with good ingredients.

The best place in Berlin to drink Aperol and Limoncello spritz. Can’t wait to buy original Siciliano panettone here soon. They have variety of Italian foods imported and ready to buy.

Hatten 2 Hauptgerichte, die Lasagne war kaum gewürzt, die Nudeln mit der “Soße”waren trocken und kaum Salz dran. Der Cappuccino verbrannt und die Location an sich etwas ungemütlich. Die Preise sind ok der Service zwar langsam aber nett.

Excellent location, atmosphere and the food itself also really good. The punch of the Sicilian flavor was not there…! But still there is no way you can say you are not full or satisfied! The team is pretty cool as well and the vibe of the place makes the magic happen!

Authentischer Aperitivo im Kiez. Sehr zu empfehlen. Die große Tagliere und Focaccia sind der Bringer! Sehr gute Weine und der Aperol Spritz wird mit ordentlichem Prosecco gemacht und nicht mit Plörre

Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen hatte ich Erwartungen die leider nicht erfüllt wurden. Der Service war zwar prinzipiell freundlich, aber unglaublich langsam. Bestellungen wurden erst nach mehrmaliger Nachfrage gebracht. Risotto war ok aber für den Preis auch wirklich nicht herausragend. Ich koche besser. Schade.

Super Lage, gemütliches Ambiente, überragende Weine und fantastisches Essen. Die Auswahl ist zwar überschaubar, aber dafür sind alle Produkte exzellent. Prädikat empfehlenswert!!!

Qui tutto parla siciliano! Locale molto piccolo ma ospitale: come la gente del sud! Vi accoglie Giuliana sempre sorridente e fiera dei suoi compagni di viaggio, tutti impegnati nel locale a preparare prelibatezze del Bel Paese! Una banda di ragazzi giovani, intraprendenti e radicati alla loro terra: chapeau! I piatti sono strepitosi: pasta alla Norma, risotto zucchine e gamberi, pasta con crema di ricotta pomodori e noci. Buonissimi tutti. A fine pasto puoi degustare del cocktails strepitosi preparati dalle sapienti mani di Asia: rigorosamente Made in sud. Anche i dolci sono molto buoni. Insomma: esperienza da provare!

I'm not used to go to italian restaurants when abroad but this place really deserves a visit, for a drink (they make a lovely drink with chili), or lunch, dinner, breakfast...Sicilian plates, focaccia, sweets, wines and amari. The staff is kind and professional. Will go again, Bravi!

Ob “local guide Ben” sich auch in seinen eigenen Bewertungen sicher ist? Ich vermute, er weiß selbst nicht mehr so genau, wessen Interessen er gerade mit welcher “Bewertung” zu bedienen hat. Als regelmäßiger Gast kann ich nur sagen: Authentische sizilianische Bar in Berlin, von den typischen Speisen und Getränken, über den sehr freundlichen Service bis hin zur Atmosphäre "i colori della Sicilia” und vor allem den herzlichen Gastgebern Giuliana und Gabriele. Und, Or Ben-Porath (Ben), wenn du Leere und Stille suchst, wirst du dies in einer sizilianischen Bar nicht finden; Leere und Stille kriegst du auf dem Friedhof. Wie wär´s damit, mache deine Bewertungen doch zukünftig über Friedhöfe.

We stayed in Berlin for 4 days and visited Sicula Bar every day! Tapas plates were so taste and always fresh. The best thing was the service that was just excellent, friendly, relaxed and made all of us feel happy and welcome any time went there!

Che dire? Uno dei miei posti preferiti qui a Berlino quando si tratta di bere vino di qualità e condividere un'atmosfera piacevole e calorosa. Must da assaggiare: cannoli siciliani! Wooow

Not sure about the Reviews here. Food was OK but nothing out of the ordinary. Cheese plate was served badly as the paper underneath got all soggy and we had to make sure we don’t end up eating paper along with the cheese… 3 stars at best, but due to how crowded and noisy it was - another one down.

Wir kennen die Sicula Bar schon seit langer Zeit, eigentlich von ihrer Eröffnung an und haben diesen Ort zu einem unserer Lieblingsorte gemacht. Das liegt auch an den netten Inhabern und an der immer freundlichen Bedienung. Die Speisekarte ist klein, aber immer authentisch und alles schmeckt stets sehr gut. Auch das Weinangebot erinnert an einen Urlaub auf Sizilien. Besonders in den Sommermonaten ist der Außenbereich sehr zu empfehlen, weil man dort einen schönen Sonnenuntergang genießen kann. Wir können dieses kleine Restaurant nur empfehlen, gleich ob es sich um ein Abend zu zweit, eine Familienfeier und ein kleines Firmenevent handelt.

Das Essen war super lecker. Das Personal sehr freundlich und nett. Der cannolo siciliano ist einzigartig. Sobald wir wieder in Berlin sind, kommen wir wieder vorbei. Essen wir in Sizilien Grüße aus Frankfurt Raffaele & Maria

Käse war enttäuschend, die 3 Sorten auf der 11€ Platte haben ziemlich gleich geschmeckt. Der 7,50€ Wein war lecker, aber zu teuer wenn man auf einem unbequemen Metalstuhl beengt zwischen anderen Tischen und Kartons sitzen muss! Laden ist ziemlich eng und hinten steht alles voll mit Kartons.

At Sicula Bar it is like being in Sicily. The pasta dishes are carefully made and lovingly presented, the focacce are simply delicious and breakfasts with croissants and coffee on Saturdays are super. When I take someone out for a homemade cannoli, everyone is amazed. The wine and beer selection is also a big plus. Not forgetting the owners and staff who work there, who are more than kind, welcoming, caring and fun. On sunny days, rainy days, winter or summer, I go to the Sicula Bar and I love it! Bravi Ragazzi! :)

Sehr gutes, authentisches italienisches Essen!

Sizilianisches Restaurant mit super leckerem Essen 🤩 Das Interior ist eher schlicht. Dafür ist der Service unglaublich freundlich und kompetent. Die Vorspeisenplatte war sehr vielseitig. Hatten eine vegetarische mit Oliven, eingelegten Auberginen und Lupinienkernen und eine Platte mit Wurst, Käse und auch einigem Gemüse. Die Nudelgerichte waren sehr lecker. Das eine Nudelgericht war mit einer Sauce aus Brocoli, Sardinen und Mandeln. Richtig fein. Der Grillo (Weißwein) hat perfekt dazu geschmeckt. Ihr könnt vor Ort auch die leckeren Oliven und Lupinienkerne kaufen. Einen Shop mit sizilianischen Produkten gibt es auch noch in Laufweite. Einziges Manko war vielleicht die Akustik. Aber alles andere wirkt dem entgegen😉

Meiner Meinung nach der beste antipasta Teller im Kiez..der weisswein war super lecker. Ist etwas eng für größere Menschen im Innenraum und wenn man mehr 2 Personen ist sitzt man bisschen eng beianander... Aber ist auf jeden fall zum weiterempfehlen und wir kommen gerne wieder... vielleicht im sommer schon

I love the atmosphere and style here. The mains though are hit and miss - only a couple a week, so best to see what they are before you dine. Still, it's home-cooking and a place I like to support. The wine menu is limited, and the meat/cheese plate is yummy. The cannolis are sensational.

Das ist eine sizilianische Auszeit im Kiez Friedrichshain Kreuzberg. Frischeste wöchentlich wechselnde italienische Küche in bester Qualität, Top Weine, sowie alle mögliches andere alkoholischen U d nicht alkoholischen Drinks und sehr freundliches nettes Personal. Kleine, feine und gemütliche Atmosphäre. Eine definitive Empfehlung

Sicula Bar bietet das beste aus Italien mitten in Berlin. Gerne mit Freunden dahin gehen und gemeinsam die Köstlichkeiten und gute Weine genießen. Die Inhaberinnen sind extra nett. Am Wochenende ist es besser zu reservieren. Freue mich auf nächsten Mal.

Ein wunderschöner Ort zum Trinken, Essen, Verweilen und auch mal für ein kurzes Vorbeischauen mitten in Friedrichshain. Der Kaffee und Giuly´s Cannoli sind ein Traum. Die Focacce und Vorspeisenteller sind üppig mit besten italienischen Spezialitäten belegt und die wechselnde Wochenkarte hat immer wieder eine Überraschung parat. Das Personal ist warmherzig und der Service top! Leckere Weine und auch Schnäpse, die sicherlich nicht jeder kennt. Es fühlt sich wie ein Stück Sizilien an: manchmal laut, oft voll, aber immer lecker und lustig!

Cute little place with really friendly staff. The lasagna with pumpkin cream is literally the most delicious thing I put in my mouth in a few of months, and I eat out a lot. The Cannoli was also amazing. Lovely place for a nice evening.

This place has a nice vibe and good wine. The appetisers were solid. The main course, the pasta, was the worst pasta we have ever eaten. It was very plain and the sauce was watery. I would not eat here again, jut for wine this place is very nice.

Sono stato qui un paio di volte e sono sempre affascinato dall'ambiente che trovo. Personale super cordiale e il Cibo è fantastico. Antipasto che ti fa tornare in Sicilia dai gusti ed odori. Le pasta sono qualcosa di incredibile e anche le focaccia. Per quanto riguarda i vini non si può trovare scelta migliore e i dolci ( i cannoli che sono come da noi in sicilia) sono perfetti. Continuate così TOP

Nach einem Besuch der Sicula Bar fühle ich mich wie im Urlaub! Der Wein ist super, die verschiedenen Platten einfach genial, die wöchentlich ändernde Speisekarte einzigartig und exzellent, sodass man nur mit geschlossenen Augen die Speisen auf der Zunge zerlaufen lassen will um sich komplett darauf zu konzentrieren. Außerdem ist der Service so authentisch und liebevoll und man fühlt sich einfach wohl! Meine Begleitung nehme ich immer gerne mit, denn ich weis Sicula enttäuscht nie!
